Slow. Guys were working hard, just not enough of them it appeared. Trailer lights worked and was clean. Had to run it on the highway. Glad I had an air compressor with me as the passenger side tire had/has a leak and needed to be filled three times in 24 hours, I'm glad it held up.Nicholas H.

Charged a gas refuel fee that was clearly perfunctory and a means to inflate the cost (after the fact). This despite the fact that I took a picture of the gas gauge and was careful to refill. Called twice and after being on hold for half an hour each time and initially given the run around, each time the employee agreed that it was an over change and that it would be reimbursed. It has been over a week and I have yet to be reimbursed.Justin G.

Horribly rude customer service. It took several minutes before anyone would even acknowledge I was there standing in front of them. They kept playing on their cell phones. The trailer was full of dirt and not well maintained. The employee almost hit my truck trying to hook a different trailer to it by hand rather than the one he had me back up to. The previous week I rented a trailer there and was greeted and helped by a very nice young lady. The tire went flat halfway through my trip but that's not the fault of anyone.Kris B.

Waited for about 45 minutes because there was only 1 person behind the counterRobert P.
We showed up and they did not have a truck for us that we had reserved several weeks ago. Their resolution was for us to drive to another city and get a different truck. We had just driven 4 hours to get this truck. It was like â€œsorry, this happens all the timeâ€. We ended up calling the main number and renting a trailer which ended up with a flat. Just not a good experience and the trailer was as much as the truck was supposed to be. There was another family in the same situation as us. I even got a call from Uhaul two days prior asking me to pick up my truck at this location and a text. Very disappointed in the service at this location.Kirby D.

The employees were very helpful after we finally got through the line. I am giving an average rating because we had to wait in line for over an hour, even though we had reserved ahead of time. It was graduation weekend and they should have known that they needed more employees to help customers when so many students are moving out. Also, we noticed a low tire on the trailer after we pulled it back to the apartment. We had to go back to get the tire changed. Again, the employees were very helpful but it would have been better if we didn't have to return to get the tire replaced. The trailer itself was clean, but the tire was not maintained.Tracy B.

This location was way too busy. Waited in line 30 minutes just to get the key when I had already completed the 24hr truck share pick up process. I asked an employee for the truck key since I completed the pick up procedure and was told to wait in line. This is despite the u line process saying to go to the front of the line. College move-out weekend so it was incredibly busy and the guys were handling it exceptionally well! That's why the high rating! On the otherhand I went 8 miles and was charged for 2 gallons of gas! Two! When I got in the truck the gauge read 'above' half and when I wasn't even a block away the gauge read 'half'! Topped off the tank with very little before returning because I have over-filled in the past but being charged for 2 gallons is highway robbery!Janis M.

When I arrived 10 minutes early for my scheduled pick up time, there was a two people in line ahead of me. There was one attendant helping one customer. He went out the get them set up and was gone for 40 minutes. Finally he came back and was able to help the 10 people in line behind me who had accumulated. I was told they didn't give receipts but that it would be emailed to me. I haven't received an email and the truck was returned on 5/8. Then there was an additional charge on my credit card after the return. I would like a final accounting to document the charges.Rebecca C.
The location I picked it up from was fine but it was moved from the location I chose online. I found that out when picking up that morning, which I was not happy about. Never recieved a notification that it was moved.Alex D.

We rented this trailer for moving building supplies. On return to our home we were unable to unload our stuff because the brakes would not allow us to back up. We had to walk everything by hand up a long driveway. We were also left blocking the road while doing this at 1am. We could only go forward, so we just brought the trailer in for return at 2:30am. We also had the same problem at the Uhaul store. We couldn't back it up in the muddy alley behind the store. The drop off area was full of other returned equipment. We tried to call the store the next morning numerous times with no answer or option to leave a message. I would like a refund for all of the inconvenience.Kelly S.

They are super busy. Hard to get help. And they rented my one way out for an I. Town jobâ€¦ so while I received four calls asking to confirm that I was infact going to pick up the one way, the morning off there was no truck! Then after finally getting in my truck, national uhaul calls to ask if I was going to pick up the truck or if they could give it to someone else! I WAS IN THE TRUCK DRIVING, after waiting five house because of a uhaul mistake! The equipment was fine thoughâ€¦CLINTON C.
Turned my truck in around noon instead of at 5:30 pm on May 1st, and upon receiving my emailed receipt yesterday (May 2nd) realized that I had been charged an â€œafter hours service feeâ€ although everything was taken care of earlier in the day. I called the location to inquire as to why I was charged this fee, and the man on the phone told me he could call me back later to discuss it because they were busy in the store. To no one's surprise, he did not call me back to even just explain what the fee was for.Meghan H.

Staff in Bozeman did not check vehicle with me for good condition or cleanliness and then later charged me a $50 cleaning fee with no explanation. I called four times to inquire about this chargeâ€"no one answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. When I rented this trailer it was to be dropped off in Glasgow, not in Culbertson. There is a big problem with the additional mileage on my part. Wouldn't have rented it I knew I had to drop it off in Culbertson! Will be dropping it off in Glasgow as agreed upon when I rented it!!!!kelly R.

I checked out my options on-line and then called and discussed with an employee what car I was towing. He was very knowledgeable, he made sure that I knew to disconnect the drive shaft in order to pull a rear wheel drive Mustang and took all my trip information down. Then I called back to reserve the rental and when I showed up another employee told me that I was not allowed to rent the car dolly to pull a Mustang and I would have to rent the trailer that was $150 (car transport). I already had the driveshaft disconnected and there was no wench on the trailer so more expense. I won't go through Uhaul again.Brent D.

The price was way too high for the size of Unit. Only rented it because it was the only thing available within 30 miles. The closing time of 7pm made it very difficult to access with my work schedule, they never fixed the alarm system in the 3 months I rented. The facility kept our things safe and dry and the staff is great, so 5 stars in that regard. But the move out experience was frustrating. We cleaned it, submitted our photos and move out request online. One week later the request was still pending and they had charged our account for the next month plus a late fee. It started when I needed a small storage unit. Priced as advertised on the wall and in flyers differ. One employee gave me a coupon for one month free and the other said it was not valid unless I had driven a rental truck. One employee assigned me a small unit after another and several were with belongings of customers that were held up because of lack of payment. Eventually she gave me a slightly bigger unit. I had already paid for the smaller unit and understood it to be your policy that if a smaller unit (the one the client wanted) is unavailable then the next one up is given at the lower price. A month later when I get a bill it is $30 higher than expected. I go ask several times in person and I am always told that the supervisor will take care of lowering my bill, that I just need to swing by when she is in. Eventually I coincide with her but she says, in a short manner, that she will not adjust anything and that the higher fee was to remain. As soon as I could I emptied the unit and cancelled my contract. You understaff the facility too, whenever one goes the line is short but customer care takes forever.Carlos I. | Expérience générale

I chose to get a uhaul to get the storage offer. After my long trip I stopped by to drop it off and unload my things. They sold my storage, didn't have me on file and gave me a 5x5 instead for a packed 6x12 trailer and a filled suburban. I had to extend my trailer time and pay 80 for a different storage mentioned by the staff. So now I've paid more than double what I was contracted.BRANNON R. | Premières impressions
Here's the small thing first. You might want to update and revise your wording on office hours and access hours. I was under the impression that after checking into my unit that I had until 10pm access my unit. While moving my things into my units(argh!) I was told I needed to be out by 7pm... I was moving cross country and got there at 5:30pm. Here's the big one. I reserved one of your biggest units since I had a lot of stuff. I called 2 or 3 hours ahead of arrival to make sure everything was in order and was assured by the lady everything was and the unit was ready. When I got there I was told that my reserved big unit was not available like I was assured and have paperwork on. It was to be on first floor as well so my 75 year old father didn't have to take stairs. I was offered 2 smaller units that barely allowed my furniture to fit nicely and not pretty much everything is just thrown in these two units because of size constraints and time allowed. My plan for the big unit was to make everything accessable to me when needed, it is not. Why have reservations for your units if you can't honor them? Again I called to confirm 2-3 hours before my arrival and was assured that it was there waiting for me! I would have looked elsewhere, but couldn't take the time to do so on account of the time I arrived, returning back from Seattle, and that the trailer was due back in Laurel the next day. The two guys that were helping me we're fine even though I was quite frankly very angry at this situation. They did try to help as much as possible. I could rattle on and on over this, I will end with I am great disappointed with u-haul and its failure to honor its word. I expect more from the people here in MT.Tate S. | Premières impressions

The staff here are young guys which is fine. Not sure if it's because they are very busy. But just not overly kind or friendly. We have 3 units in Pleasanton CA where we live. It's spotless And has a courteous staff. 2 weeks into having this unit I received a phone call from a young man there letting me know he had let a patron inadvertently cut our lock off thinking it was his unit I could not understand why it wasn't one of the workers there. His response to me was mistakes happen. Then tells me keys are hung up on the wall for the new lock. I asked him to please put them in the safe and that I would have. A friend come pick them up.
