The cashier that assisted me lacked basic sales and customer service skills. Upon arrival there was 5 ppl on line waiting when the customer in front of me demanded the get someone else to the floor. It didn't immediately dawn on that cashier to call for help. Then after waiting a ridiculously long period of time to be serviced I picked a truck for rent and was told without her even checking the computer that the did not have it. So I selected another vehicle again to be told it was out of stock . At this point I inquire about what was in stock instead of pointlessly picking items to no end. The cashier exclaimed “nothing” was in stock when the young lady standing next to her interjected to inform us that multiple vehicles had been returned for the day and indeed the original van I requested was in stock. The entire experience was disappointing all the way down to asking me to scan my id. I informed the cashier that my partner had taken the car to the gas station across the street with my phone in it so I asked if she could possibly scan it as I have done so in the past. She told me this was not possible and there was no way for her to scan it . I was forced to leave the and walk across the street to retrieve the phone. Upon my return I start the process and scan the od in my hand where she waited until the entire process was done to tell me it needs to be placed on the table to scan. I was unable to go back as it was already accepted and she became unnecessarily up. Then told me to give her the id so she could scan it. (This after making me walk to get my phone since there was no way for her to do what she was now asking to do) Last complaint being She requested a second number. Requested that I then call the person to ask them to confirm me. Then places a call to the person while I was still talking to them causing it to go to voicemail. She hung up and looked me staring in the face to say “ it went to voicemail they didn't pick up” Then proceeded to stare at me with a dense look until I suggested she call back seeing as to how she didn't wait until the call I was on with the person was completed. The staff definitely need more training at this location.

19,95 doesn't mean 97,81 for 3 hours. 1,79 for mileage that is ridiculous, I will be going to home depot next time.

I would never recommend anybody to the linden location. The little receptionist girl was extremely rude, I asked her to switch the the truck because it wasn't working properly she acted like she was deaf. I had to ask her if she heard me and then gave an irrelevant response.

I was charged over 100$ more than the price I was given when I picked up the truck. No one has answered the phones and I returned the vehicle on time but the only receipt says I returned the truck 12 hrs later

Improve night Lighting at Facility for Customers Returning Vehicles after dark. U-Haul Agents should all maintain and wear the SAME Uniform and Be in Uniform, no matter their position. I will continue to use this Facility. Thank you for helping me Move !

Great service in Cambria Heights. Reservation system and telephone waits are too inefficient. Went to three locations and waited on phone for hours before getting service. Actual service was great. Reservation system is too slow and individual locations should be able to direct you to the location that has the equipment needed. Having to call back the mational number is ridiculous.

I did receive contract details. But, didn't receive final milage and that gas was above proper level and that you did verify truck was checked in properly. No estimate of tolls used. Plus the process of self-return is extremely labor-intensive.To add in mileage with decimal point is very confusing.Pictures, pictures,and more pictures. Have respect and verify info sent. Merci.

Customer service was great, the place was nice, the truck was clean, but the system to return the truck had a bug and would not allow me to submit the pictures needed to finish the overnight control.

The person who helped me was not welcoming. She had a nasty attitude and did not explain the process well. She was playing with her phone and she had ear buds in her ear. When I asked her a question she responded that maybe I don't understand how to rent a vehicle and she was not good at explaining the process.

I was charged for a small dent near the outside rear passenger roof that was already present before I picked the van up. I didn't include an image on the initial check, because I was looking for major damages. No matter how much I disputed it, I was still charged for an issue that I was not responsible for.

Safe, Sanitary, Convenient. And when I needed a second truck, and I was unable to rent from the same location, the Rep searched for a another location and upon arrival at the second location, my reservation was up to date and turn-key. Truly appreciate this experience. Merci.

They changed my pickup location of the 20 inch truck and did not advise me. Then they did not have the size trailer that I wanted I had to get a bigger one which is what they had left communication was poor and it cost me money and time. Unacceptable

I don't know how there are random additional charges. Worst experience ever. I paid dearly for one day rental and now I have to navigate through bogus extra charges... absolute craziness, now I have no choice but to assist the help of my card issuer. Never ever again will I use uhaul to move anything.

I had a reservation for 2/8/2021 at 7am. When I arrive at the location, the office was not opened. It was not until 7:15 that the doors were opened. The vehicle I reserved was not cleaned and free of snow. I had the clean the vehicle myself and eventually choose another vehicle as the size I reserved was completed iced over. There was absolutely no one available to clean/clear the ice from the vehicle. There was no defrost in the vehicle which caused another problem. I was very dissatisfied with the service.

The person inside Was nice, the dude that check the return was an Ass.H*** I put gas on the truck before I turn it in ..they dude es like we charging you 6,00 $ for gas !! I was like why ..he wen and said is not the same ,I look I was yes it is , so I took it across the street to gas station I put another 1,15 $ I wen over that's how much gas it needed that it wen over the mark ... such pitty

The location is conveniently located but the staff is rude. Customer service training is needed. If I the customer am speaking respectful why am I being met with smart remarks. The staff needs to understand that they are representing more than themself but are representing an organization
