The ft Myers location pickup and delivery was great. However, the Paducah side was not. They were unable to get the pods to me on the provided date, which was due to weather conditions so that is acceptable but the next day they were supposed to deliver but the facility had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned that I paid for the outside moving company you provided when I reserved the pods. They told me I had to pick up at there location and drop back off myself. I called customer service and they verified the facility was incorrect and the mover would be delivering the pods that day. The delivery driver was not happy with the facility or the situation that he had to drive back and forth because you only had one trailer. I was estimated at least three days with the pods but was forced to empty them both immediately while the driver sat in the car and waited. Overall not a positive experience.Lauren S.

Not enough staff I picked up using the app. and it would not work properly. Went inside for assistance picking up my truck and waited an hour. The was only one person at the desk, and other personel outside. Then my truck was blocked in and had to wait to get it unblocked. When i tried to extend my rental an extra day. I just wanna say I arrived at 6:18 pm I called ahead I ended up having to leave a cash deposit then was told I couldn't rent the truck because she had already closed out the drawer. I asked to speak to a manager then she decided to open up the drawer she was very rude to me and my wife as well. Ive rented here before but don't know now. Also the truck was covered in mud and grime the windshield was completely covered with grime. Had to wash it just to drive it, and finally the gas throttle was malfunctioning scared me twice I let them know when I returned the vehicle clean in better shape than I received it.TERRY S.

I had to arrange temporary storage for personal belongings long distance from Toronto Canada because of COVID. My Customer Service experience ranged from AWFUL to good. My initial pick up location was not supposed to be the one listed above. The one listed above was good. The original location was awful. After spending app $2K in expenses to get to Naples and load the container, I went to pick it up on Friday just to find out that they could not provide one until Monday. After showing the person the confirmation email that clearly said I had one reserved, she tried to tell me I had to call the 800 number to work it out. With some angry verbal persuasion, the service person finally looked on line and found a container for me but it was an extra 15 miles in North Naples (the one listed above). The one time 15 miles would not but it took 4 trips - up & back to get the empty and then up & back to deliver the full. For an overall great product for UHaul, the initial interaction all but ruined the experience. One other criticism, more updates of the actual status and location of the container would be nice. I felt very uninformed during the time it was delivered back to you full and it actually arrived at its final location.Robert S.

The inside of the truck windshield was not cleaned well and the car dolly had one tire tie down strap that was too short to use but I didn't know it was defective till it was too late to get it replaced so I was able to use only one tie down on my move.Terry K.

The truck was blocked by 3 other trucks when I went to pick it up, I wouldn't have been able to pick it up without assistance. The worker informed me the front of the truck wasn't cleaned before I took it. I got to the house and opened the back to find food and chunks of metal in the back. Always alarms going off in the building I figured with a b and a card or a code to get in the building that it was a 24-hour access but that wasn't the case I was charged for locks that I found out that was supposed to just come with the unit mind you I've got multiple units my rental truck had cockroaches in it so now I have to worry about anything getting into my new place besides those issues it was an okay building I would definitely say as far as temperature wise in the Boudin was not too great they have young teenagers God help them at work for them but most of the part that are lazyKENJI J. | Expérience générale

The truck runs bad, sounds like it needs transmission fluids, thus us twice my gas was not what you said it was..after putting gas in twice..the had needle didn't budge..I'm tired of being charged extra for poorly maintained trucks. Not sure which was worse..the 10 foot 2 days before or this one..the owner door doesn't shut completely, it's unsafe..I'm a non prior cat rescue they fees to Naples to pick up donations periodlucally..i himself would have went to Budget for thus last reversal except they were completely booked until Dec.23rd and today was the last day to get our donations..plus you say the heads has thus 3/4 tank when it's a little over half..tired if being rubbed were dependant on donations. I honestly feel that these trucks need to be better maintained they're out of a weinman terribly it's hard to keep them on the road straight and there's just a plethora of things wrong with a lot of your truck at least the two that I've gotten in the past 48 Hours certainly need to be rotated out or something I'm sorry I have always used U-Haul but I'm not sure if I will continueTammy N.

The roadways & drive through areas are too congested with all the storage boxes everywhere. Many times I was trying to leave & had to wait for large trucks to get out of the way. Also there are only 2 flatbed dollies & 2 mattress dollies? On weekends I had to wait many times to obtain a dolly since it was busy. First time I reserved a trailer I thought everything was set but then I had to change my leave date. I was told I didn't have a reservation for a trailer I had one for a truck. Nothing was ever said about a truck after that was corrected everything went fine until. When I got the trailer all hooked up I looked in the back and it was full of empty boxes. 1-Friendly but overworked staff. I was to pick up the van at 10am. I arrived 9:50. The line was out the door. One person at register. This was crazy! I waiting on line over an hour for a reserved van. You need more people in your busy days Saturday and Sunday. My entire day was delayed because of this. 2- i reserved online with my debit card. After and hour on line i was told the cannot take debit cards. Where were the signs? The notices? Let people be prepared. We rented a 10x15 a couple weeks ago then I ordered a 5x10 the day we were supposed to move in. The website offered the 5x10 but said nothing about a waiting list. We knew we needed 2 units so we thought we were good. The facility didn't have the smaller unit nor did any other facility in the area. Now I was driving around with stuff in a truck that I didn't have a place for and the truck needed to be returned 12 hours later. My thoughts Uhaul should update there website so units ONLY available are offered for rent. Otherwise truck ran great, tow dolly worked great. I had 1 box left, and my lock to install. Access denied; re-signed at both boxes and access granted - but neither the sliding doors nor swinging would open. Customer service connected me to 'emergency - fire/police'. We played that several times - the 3rd time I requested to the rep staying on the line during transfer and it didn't! Connecting says 30-40min wait; 10mins after 7pm was the time. That was after reserving with Blake, not getting the online site to accept some info, then repeating almost everything again inside the N.FM location. I moved out of the storage unit because the facility is too congested with personal storage boxes. They seem to be everywhere and can't find a place to park unless I go early in the morning when it opens. I am a musician and store my gear there every hurricane season. The U-Haul people in the yard when I drove up to off-load my truck were uniformly rude and unhelpful. For instance, when I asked one man how to get to my storage unit when the only apparent way was clearly blocked by parked cubes, he said "How the ... do I know?" The facility and employees were very nice but the set-up of the facility is HORRIBLE. Access to many of the units is through one small corridor that you have to drive into and one end was completely blocked off with storage pods so you can not leave without turning around three-point-turn style. If people are unloading, you are limited in your ability to do a turn-around and whatever you do DO NOT DRIVE A TOW-BEHIND trailer into the area unless you feel confident that you can back it up around cars and storage pods because there is no other way to get out.ALISON D. | Premières impressions

The woman I worked with was funny and nice but she didn't give me enough information like how to disarm the storage unit. I set the alarm off 5 times trying to figure out how to disarm. Which was highly frustrating especially when the alarm is a screeching noise. I had to run through the facility back and forth wondering why it kept ringing. And I still do not know how I turned of the alarm. My reservation was lost and the young man checking me in was not trained well in what he was being asked to do. After going through the reservation process a week earlier I had to do it again and the attendant had trouble typing and asked me the same questions over and over again. The computeR system seemed clumsy to use and attendant couldn't type very well. I was very frustrated from this circumstance. Then we were not given very good instructions on which card reader you use at the entrance to the facility. Ther are four card readers to use yet only one will work and there was nothing that helped you understand which one to use. It seems to me that the individual filling out the paperwork should take you to the storage room to make sure that all is workding correctly.
