Was an amazing experience! They gave me more time to unpack my box. We where having some difficult weather which kept us from unloading on time. Not looking forward to moving again but would not hesitate to use Ubox again!

Worst experience with U-haul I've ever had. They never gave me a paper with the milage and gas. I guess they expected me to take pictures of the milage and gas, whenI received the vehicle. They changed me over $100 more of what they should have. When I tried contacting them about it they never got back to me. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

The worker brought the truck I rented and dolly i needed, handed me the key, and said I was done and good to go. They didn't offer any other instructions and I drove off. I quickly found out the gas tank was nearly empty. I called and they left me on hold for 30 minutes. I called back and let them know about the gas tank and was told that I would be given gas credits if I put in gas. Upon return I was told that i should have received a link to verify gas which I did but did not realize because the worker told me to drive off. I was also told that I would not be given gas credit. I opted to do in person check out instead of self check in so I wouldn't have to deal with this kind of situation. Bad experience all around and won't be returning again if I need to rent a truck again.

The employees were nice. I'm upset that my "reservation" was moved 6 miles away and I was still charges for that mileage and gas. I feel like Uhaul stole $20 from me. Truck was on empty when I got it. They're trying to charge me for 55 miles. I drove about 24 miles. I feel like I'm being scammed.

Increase training at the Rancho Dominguez office. Marcus was good but other staff did not have critical information and even said a delivery reservation was made when it was not. Staff need to know their delivery area and how to communicate with other offices. If they don't know the answer they should not pretend that they do.

Inside was OK the driver's window knob kept on falling off the vehicle what's dirty on the outside lot of Brett crap most places keep their vehicles washed and clean , light for the tires right rear kept coming on I put more than a half a tank of gas and a vehicle other than that it was okay I drove 54 points 4 miles all Personnel that I dealt with this before and now very professional

1) The staff could not find our container in the system because someone "accidentally" tried to transfer it to some other location which we did not request. They struggled to close out our order after we had unpacked everything because the container was in another locations inventory even though it was physically at the right place. 2) We tried multiple times to call the location to ask questions about pick up and reserve a time to pick it up and they kept transferring us to other locations because they were busy. The other locations were not able to answer the questions or let us reserve an appointment to pick it up and kept saying we needed to call that specific location, but they refused to answer the phone. 3) The corporate customer service is HORRIBLE. Extremely long wait times. Not helpful because you need to talk to the specific location in order to actually get anything done. 4) You should provide and ETA based on when it was shipped and not just the guaranteed arrival date. If we had known in advance that it was going to arrive earlier, we could have made arrangements to pick it up earlier, but because there was no update we couldn't scramble at the last minute to arrange.

Hire qualified drivers for delivery and drop off, and send a two person team for safety and spotting. Our u boxes showed up late, so we had to pay additional days for them to come back. Your driver took out a neighbors tree, damaging a u box in the process. She was obviously not qualified and in over her head. When we tried to talk to her, she accused us of being racist and insulted us. The damaged container took an additional day to replace, costing us more in mover fees. Horrible experience overall.

Nothing to do with the location I picked up from. I had to drive 20ish extra miles to pick up and drop off because the location near my house, where I had a reservation, was unable to get me my reserved truck. I had to pay for those miles and don't really think that was reasonable.

Marcus Bell, the Facility Manager at Carson / Rancho Dominguez, is an outstanding example of an excellent U-Haul staffer. Ahead of me in line was an highly obnoxious customer, but Marcus dealt with a "Karen" in a firm, but appropriate manner. Kudos to Marcus for avoiding what potentially could have been an ugly situation.

Late text 15 minutes before an 8am pickup. The trailer had not been returned the night before. No excuse for not contacting me earlier. Set up rental at another location without contacting me first. Ended up being 45 minutes extra driving round trip to pick up and drop off. Only went to that location as I could not get through to customer service. I concluded but the time I reached customer service to find another location I would be just as quick to eat the extra mileage. The secondary store experience was normal. They worked with me if I could not return same day, which was good. Ended up making it back before they closed. The customer that did not return on time should have been contacted the night before to get an ETA and then contact the affected customer and given options on locations rather than redirecting automatically last minute.

Tow dolly was dirty not well maintained. Accessories where not found on the equipment. Rude customer service . Front desk lady was more worry about her nails then assisting customer.I did not get any directions onto where to go . There was no one to load the dolly onto my vehicle . I had to go to the front and repeatedly ask for assistance . And was denied. Not professional this was 2 females and 2 males African American shift

Horrible experience with u-haul. I thought as such a big company this would be an easy process. My truck that I reserved on Monday was rescheduled to 3 different locations without any confirmation. I don't understand how you can make a reservation for a truck that isn't there. Nevertheless we had to go to a location about 12 miles away from our house, when our original location was 4 miles from our house. I had called Friday to make sure we would actually have a truck since the days prior we had 3 different occasions our “reservation” was moved. I called our FINAL location to make sure our truck would be there and the rude representative told me yes that it would be there. So come this morning on Saturday we go to pick up the truck and we're told there was no truck available for us and the representative was very rude and pretty much said there's nothing we can do and went back to typing on her computer. Luckily there was another representative who just told her to override the code and we were able to get a truck (wow all of a sudden they have a truck now) if it were up to her she would have dismissed us and went back to doing whatever she was doing. I will never use this uhaul service again and I will recommend all family and friends to use alternative services. Moving is already stressful and this company made everything so much more stressful.

The truck was amazing, NEW! The dolly's, pads and were not in the truck when I got home, my wife had to expend an hour going back and forward to pick them up. Nobody ever apologizes for the mistakes. The gentlemen taking the truck back was a complete different experience, very professional and understanding. The crew I hired wasted a whole hour waiting around to move things. NO GOOD!
