Arrived at wrong location. Put me on hold while trying to figure out cost/charges to order of 4th u box long enough that I had to call back while still on hold and reached same person who put me on hold. Got price, agreed to it, box came, we filled it and all were picked up together. Unfortunately only the original 3 shipped and 4th box stayed in California. I drove to Texas, unloaded 3 u boxes, and flew back to California and the 4th u box hadn't even left. I called and it was being shipped that day, and next thing you know I am being charged another large amount which was never discussed. Entire experience was horrible except dealing with Caleb from Mckinney uhaul location. He's been the most helpful. Filed a complaint with Megan and was told I would be contacted in 3 days, it's been a week and still nothing. Never again will I use anything related to uhaul.Joshua D.

I called Carson couple of times and after waiting for more than 20 minutes, I was told that system was not working. They told me that GM will call me after sending an email but he/she dint care. There was insurance on my contract but some fault on your side wasted all my time and energy : online chats, calls. Nobody could help : Useless support system. This place will over charge you so make sure to take pictures and check all charges on receipts . I only drove 26 miles and was charged 32 miles .. from getting a 19,99 $ truck I ended up paying 78 $Ana O.

I was overcharged for 2 days on a rental that was less than 24hrs. The truck was rented on 1/4 of a tank and returned at the same level. However, I was overcharged an absorbent amount for gas. I called the store and after a long debate I was refunded an amount that was not suitable. I would expect much different from store management.Vincent B.

I received 2 different calls, hours apart, from the U Box driver on April 12th informing me that she was on her way to drop off my U Box. I was quoted a drop off time of 8am-11am and did not receive my box until around 4pm. I later received a call from the location telling me my U Box would be picked up April 13th, between 3pm-4:30pm. The morning of April 13th I received a call from the U Box driver telling me that she would be picking up my box before 2pm that day. When I explained that customer service quoted me between 3p-4:30p she replied, â€œNo, i'm off at 2 o'clock so it'll be before thenâ€ in a rather irritated manner. At 3:45pm that day I received another call from the driver telling me that she was now on her way to pick up my U Box and quoted me a 20 minute arrival time. She never showed up. I began to call her, with no answer. I called the location multiple times, with no answer. At this time it was about 5pm and this particular location does not close until 7pm. When I finally got on the phone with U Haul's main customer service line, the agent could not give me an answer as to what happened. She also tried to contact the location but there was no answer. She assured me that my U Box would be picked up the following day and that it would not have an affect on my destination delivery date. The morning of April 14th I received an email receipt of the charges for the delivery/pick up of my U Box, but my box had still not been picked up. I then called the location, during normal business hours, to inquire and there was no answer. I proceeded to call multiple times until finally an agent answered. I explained my situation and told the gentleman that I just wanted to make sure my box would be picked up that day and to inquire about what happened the previous day. He did not have an answer for me but told me that my box would definitely be picked up on this day. He then proceeded to tell me that his manager, whom was standing right next to him during this phone call, recognized my phone number and reassured me that I was a priority since my box was not picked up the previous day. I asked to speak with the manager since I could hear him relaying this information to the agent on the phone. When the manager, Marcus, answered the phone, his attitude was abrupt and condescending. I informed him that I just wanted to make sure that my Box would be picked up considering I was told on 2 separate phone calls the previous day that someone was on their way to pick it up and then no one ever showed up or even bothered to inform me of what was going on. Marcus, with a very unapologetic and bothered attitude, responded not with an apology, but by telling me briefly, â€œThere was an accident. Your box will be picked up today.â€ There was nothing left for me to say seeing as how this person clearly had no interest in my situation. That morning after my phone call with Marcus, a driver called me to tell me that she was â€œon her wayâ€ to pick up my U Box and quoted me 20-30 minutes. About 2 hours later the same driver called and asked me again if my Box was ready to be picked up. Seriously? If you're not ACTUALLY on your way to my location then why are you telling me that you are? I wasted a ridiculous amount of time waiting for my U Box to be dropped off AND picked up and no one informed me that my presence wasn't even required for the pick up. This U Haul location and it's employees are by far the worst that I have encountered in this company.Alexandria N.

Allow cash transactions for Cargo Vans and Pick Ups. Today was a real inconvenience because there were issues with the computer system (non-related to staff and employee behavior), and unfortunately, I was late helping a friend move out and she didn't receive her deposit back. Uhaul treated me extremely unfairly. I now hate your company and will refrain from doing business with you for the rest of my life. You caused me to lose thousands of dollars and you did not deliver my goods. I have been forced to purchase my own trailer and move myself. Uhaul is a terrible company. Maybe check to see if the movers or loaders that you have signed up or working with you is still in business before you just recommending them to your customers that signed up for "moving help". The last "unloader" that was automatically assigned to me in Coppell, TX was not even working or in business anymore, so, I had to call UHaul again to rearrange a new "Unloading" company which was Moving Made Easy which was a great company. The original one that was assigned to me was not even answering his phone and it turned out, it's not even his phone number anymore. Maybe UHaul could make an effort to make sure all movers doing work with you all are legit and still in business by the time we need them.eusem M.
