I was quoted a price of $171 all-in from Corporate Uhaul. I was charged $231. Please give me a credit of the difference. I made this trip 4 times with Uhaul. Uhaul reduced the price when I complained about price BEFORE renting.

The U-Haul storage door got stuck, and ripped a hole in my furniture and my box spring. Of course it's always something with U-Haul this ground has been an awful experience and I will not be using U-Haul again.

I was wrongly charged for an extra day. At pick up I told the manager I would be returning before they opened the next day (overnight return). The manager instructed me to park the trailer in the same place where I picked it up. I did that, and the manager still charged me for the extra day and entered my return after the 24hours - on purpose. It's dishonest & fraudulent.

The truck was in very bad conditions, Brakes and steering was squeezing on curves, the driver door needs 4 or 5 trials to close , Windows are very noisy on highway , Dashboard glass is broken .

The trailer floor had a hole in it that I had to cover with duct tape. One of the tires failed 1,5 hours int the 12 hour trip. Overall disappointed in the condition of the trailer. Roadside assistance was professional and easy to use but this did end up adding over two hours to my trip.

The truck was not really in the best mechanical condition! Im not mechanic but you feel is not the best one out there and it was about 160k on it so its kinda understandable but i expect have little newer truck! I wad not driving much but I wouldn't feel great if i was going out of state!

I am not a person to put a negative comment on social media, but I must let you know that the clerk that helped me was so unnecessarily rude to me. I have never rented from Uhual before and I just needed someone to help me out a bit. She was impatient and very hateful. My daughter booked the truck so when the clerk, her name was Neisha, ask me the name I was unsure. She rolled her eyes and became louder when she asked me for my number. I got a bit louder with her too, but then I told myself that I was not going to stoop to her level and be rude. She continued to belittle me and roll her eyes when I asked about the cost and the fees. I have never really been treated like this before and I truly don't appreciate it. The location has consistently provided great service with good hours. Those small mom and pop places have lousy hours. These guys are open and clean. Easy drop off as well. I go an extra 10 miles just to use them.

I arrived at 8:57am, I started to open the side door labeled customer entrance. The lady in the uhual truck honked at me were not open till 9! After that unpleasant experience. They gave me a 15' box truck that was blocked front and back by two other box trucks. So I had to wait for them to move the truck out of the way. After finally finally leaving around 9:45am I had to stop at the gas station because the truck was on empty. Then I got the truck home to discover they left the back door of the truck open. Would NOT recommend anyone go to this location.

Very friendly and easy to rent a storage unit when we dropped off our uhaul truck. They helped us pick out the right size of storage unit which made it so much easier to access and arrange.

Could not check in through mobile app had to go inside, employees not friendly at all (very transactional). Equipment was run down beat up and extremely dirty. The link they sent to do pictures did not work. I will definitely consider other rental companies next time I have a need. I am a commercial user and rent regularly. My unit was auctioned off after I lost my credit card and was issued another one. All of my bills are on auto pay.! I did not notice that payment wasn't coming out. Nobody called or contacted me. The store claims they sent a certified letter but it was to the wrong address!! I had a second unit with my address, number, and all listed. Now my wedding dress, baby memories including umbilical cords are ALL GONE! I tried to speak with someone once I found out, they were very dismissive and didn't care at ALL! I had this storage and others for years and I will never do this again. Not to mention, my unit lock was taken off at one point and left unlocked. Items were missing, they weren't of sentimental value, so I forgave them. Shame on me!!!!

Will return will needed. The vehicles need checking though. The first vehicle we had brakes where going out. The second vehicle we had, the steering column was messed up. You try to drive one way and it slide the other way and it wasn't even snow, ice or anything on the ground. So yes, the vehicles need to be checked over really good but other than that it was a nice experience.

I paid extra to have access to a dumpster and was only throwing away cardboard boxes once a week I was verbally harassed each time o used the dumpster. I explained each time I paid extra for the dumpster and was only throwing away cardboard I addition to that debris and vehicles are constantly in front of my unit and I had to wait or ask people to move to get in my unit These were employees of Uhaul each time

I moved to the Indianapolis area from South Carolina, only to find out my apartment was not ready, well I had a uhaul truck with all my belongings nowhere to unload and nowhere to sleep. I drove around Indy trying to figure out a solution, with no extra funds for lodging this facility allowed me to move my entire house into A temporary storage unit.staff treated us as if we were royalty.In today's world it's sorta unusual that your fellow man shows empathy towards someone else's problem I truly thank the ENTIRE STAFF for all they've done

Only flaw is not being 24 hour access. My work schedule is crazy because I do on call Towing so it's never a set time on or off work. Needing to get into the unit at certain times and not being able to is the only flaw.

we picked up our uhaul on June 1, loaded up in fort wayne, planned to drop off the stuff in castleton....BUT HAD NO WAY TO GET INTO STORAGE!!....we had to drive out to the old house and then BACK TO THE STORAGE PLACE the next day for an extra 90 miles AND GAS!!....So no, , we are not at all happy with our service and we hope uhaul will NOT CHARGE US THE EXTRA 90 MILES and reimburse us for the wasted gas....bad deal

Only issues was it was mice droppings on some of my items. As I was moving my certain furniture I saw a nice run over my feet & into a whole in the storage unit. I did notice there were mice traps so I assume this is an issues U-haul is already aware of.

My experience was good. Only had my items stored there for 5 months. Only went there to drop them off and pick them up. My only complaint is that the lot that the units are on is littered with broken glass, lots of screws & bolts, & trash here & there. We're lucky we didn't get a flat tire from the debri lying around. Otherwise, service was good & staff was friendly.

This was the first time we needed to utilize a storage facility. We were pleased and pleasantly surprised by how easy it was and that it was nice and clean. The guys in the store were very helpful, friendly and kind. Hopefully we won't need storage again, but if we do our first choice would be uhaul.

Staff was hit nd miss on friendliness. I was not given. Choice in lock to use and was charged for the lock on the unit. After a year of renting it the key broke off in the lock on moving day. Was told it was 24 hours for a locksmith and would be $50. I would have used my own better lock, if given the choice. Then for them to tell me it was on me to figure it out was unacceptable.

Storage is generally *very* expensive, and uhaul rates were about 30 % less than their competitors. Everyone at the facility was knowledgeable and patient. I'd an urgent issue present itself, and they were most understanding of my need to take phone calls. It was very refreshing. Absolutely a 10/10! The head of the Castleton, Indiana branch (on 86th street), Hailey, maybe, was completely delightful to work with, and her (clearly new) employee, who's name cannot recall, was attentive and considerate.

The parking lot is bad and hard to get through , the price of a small storage unit is priced too high and everything I had in there for a year was covered in thick dust and cobwebs ‼️☹️ How could this be ?!?! It was so dirty and I sprayed it for bugs .

Well, I had a incident to occur with my veh(2013 BMW528I) on the premises whereas my vehicle was Vandalized my rear windshield was Broken by someone. So, I made a Police Report w/IPD, to investigate this situation. I told the front office about this MATTER. So, I had to remove my vehicle from the premises, because I was notified that all items stored outside would have to be removed before the expiration date. So, I was really upset about that incident. Otherwise, I am glad I had to remove my Vehicle. Thanks! JD

The outside storage was unorganized and looked like trash. I had to find a place to store my boat because my neighborhood would not allow me to bpark in the driveway. I only had the storage for 3 months and they told me they would no longer store boats and RVs because of renovations. A huge disappointment for me, it's difficult to have to find a place to store a boat when I thought I had already had a place.

Besides the trash everywhere around the storage lot, the gate constantly had issues and nobody would answer the intercom. That then forced me on multiple occasions to wait in the long line of people picking up trucks just to have somebody help me get the gate open. Only 2 out of multiple people I've interacted with there (manager and a guy named Nate) had a positive attitude. Everyone else made me feel very unwelcome and like I was inconveniencing them.

Upon entering the facility the staff did not greet me. They looked very annoyed and unwilling to help me. It seemed that I was inconveniencing them to reserve a storage unit. I even spoke up and asked them what was wrong and why they seemed so pissy and they complained about having to work and it being hot.. which it was hot but you should still be friendly and do your job.

The storage area they gave me was a dump, underwater, trash everywhere, old mattresses, dog feces, broken glass, all kinds of trash. I moved all of my things out and they continue to charge me for the storage unit when it was empty for 2 weeks prior to my move out date. I am still getting letters saying I owe money that I do not owe anything?? Seriously I would never use or recommend U-Haul again to anyone unless they change some things and clean up the junkyard. I was disappointed in the level of service and poor conditions for my valuable furniture. I am a very fair person and I only say the facts because I don't like to say bad things about anyone or anything, but this experience was one of my worst thus so far as moving is already enough stressful enough and adding poor service and conditions just makes it even more stressful. Brittany was amazing! She went above and beyond to help, assist and find a solution to a problem created by the company. She called managers who were off duty and handled the issue. We need more Brittneys in the world and I hope you appreciate her. I tried to show mind and she would not take a tip. She told me it would block her blessing. I couldn't argue with that. But what a joy to meet someone so pleasant and happy to serve.

I get robbed on my trailer 2 TIMES!!!! I call managers, customer service and no one help me out. They take out a lot of stuff from the trailer. I was paying for security and i dont receive NONE OF THAT. I was really mad at the service, the employees see me at the office and dont help me out at all with the situation. I do two police reports and still not getting a compensation for all that inget robbed on the trailer. They said that they dont have footage for that days... i was really angry. While the inside office was clean and the employees friendly and helpful, Where my storage unit was located, the grounds were filthy with trash, empty medicine bottles, beer cans, etc. I actually had to sweep in front of my unit so I could open the door. Had I known that it was going to be that disgusting I would have rented somewhere else. In all the years I've been using U-Haul this was by far the worse filth I've ever seen.

First day using my storage unit, they assigned me one that had items in it. The unit I was reassigned would not align with the lock part so I couldn't use the lock I purchased, in the correct spot. Customer service is horrible everytime. Doesn't matter if I come in for boxes or something else.. there's no greeting. They ignore you even when they are not with a customer. They NEVER answer the phone. Interactions are very boring and monotone. A very unhappy staff. Will not be using this facility again.

Everytime I come to this location, the staff never greets any of the customers. Even if there's a short wait (when they are not with customers) nobody says they'll be with you in a moment or even acknowledges you're standing there. The transactions at the counter are always very monotone and awkward. Yesterday I was there because I had a reservation for a storage unit. The unit I was assigned was half open and still had items in there. I was assigned a new unit and luckily that one was empty. No apology at the counter. Just a new sheet of paper with my new unit number. The staff is worse than the workers at the post office. I come to this location often and once I am done using my storage unit, I'm most likely going elsewhere.

Told that my access was 24/7( Posted on the gate). Get up their after hours in freezing weather and had no access. My vehicle was inside so I had to leave there walking. You haul customer service( While I was freezing) Would not Grant my access until they somehow contacted the general manager of the u-haul location where my vehicle was. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until 5:00 a.m. when he came in. This turned in to about a 2 hour ordeal when I was finally granted a pass cold that would let me into the storage. The passcode that I originally created would not work at all. I had to walk all night just to stay warm until this FINALLY happened!

I only had my trailer parked there for about 3 months but on multiple occasions I arrived to find someone else's items all over my parking space. There had to be moved before I could access my trailer. What made me cancel the space was when my trailer was vandalized and locks cut. No trust in the level of security here or respect for people's property.

The last time I was there, the main drive to the units had a fair amount of broken glass on the ground. This should have been dealt with immediately. Secondly, although it is not your policy, I think when a renter closes out a unit, the monthly prorated rent should be returned. Merci.

I really enjoyed having somewhere to hold my things for a year while downsizing. Before moving my things in storage the unit was clean. My unit was easily accessible even with a huge truck. If you don't have a lock they can provide you with one at a discount with the purchase of the storage unit. Great Experience.

We moved from Florida to Indianapolis. We received one month free rent. After two weeks we got notices our storage was delinquent. Made several calls a was told they did not know why. Disappointing.

Although there was a great deal of dust and spider eggs in the unit when we emptied it out, everything was dry and undamaged by mold or mildew. We hadn't been there in several years, so we pleased.

The only problem I've ever had with U-Haul is the U-Box business. It has many problem, too many to go into here. It's not the people or phones, it's the way U-Haul has structured it. TERRIBLE!
