I recommend better communication between the employees. I had an appointment at 8 am and was told it would be 2-3 hours for the completion of the job. They told me they would call me when it was completed.when I called 3 hours later( 1130 am) I was told it wouldn't be done till 4 pm. The gilrl at the desk in the morning failed to tell the manager That I expected to pick up the car in the 3 hours I was told and they proceeded to work on another customers car who was waiting in the building for his car. The manager did compensate me for my inconvenience but as it stands I still did not get my car till 2 pm. The general manager was very apologetic but if there was better communication this incident would have never happened.shaun W.

I was supposed to pick up a 15ft truck in cohoes, when I arrived * after getting dropped off from a friend* I was told , sorry but we don't have a truck available. After pleading I needed a truck, I then had to call friend back to give me a ride to clifton park to get a 10ft truck, took me many more trips to move, and no ramp on the 10ft, which was the whole point I reserved a 15ft. The only positive thing about the experience was the woman at the counte " Merideth" who waited on me at the clifton park location. She discounted the mileage cost, and was super polite.* GIVE HER A RAISE*!.JUSTINMICHAEL M.

Get your parking lot repaved. Whoever did it left it in DISSARRAY. there are numerous bumps and depressions that you have to drive through just to get down to the entrance. when I got down there I noticed a bunch of busted glass behind the equipment I was renting and was also told that was from the construction workers. The inside of the location was immaculate and the workers were very knowledgeable and helpful. However I would expect a brand new U-Haul location to be free of defects.James K.

My hitch installation experience here was very good from the first call to the finished installation. Good correspondence by both phone and Email helped work out details i was concerned about.joe T.
Every person I encountered at this location went above and beyond to provide amazing customer service. An error on my reservation (not a mistake made by anyone at this location) was addressed and corrected by the team immediately. Larissa in the service center went out of her way to get the parts needed and get the hitch installed ASAP. She was very understanding of my time constraint and provided unparalleled service. Further, the customer service provided by the front desk and management were equally impressive and made the entire experience better. I would strongly recommend anyone to use the Kinns Rd location.Thomas B.

The location and rental was great. However I tried but was unable to use the new virtual check in process from the cell phone. That did not work and was much to cumbersome. Plus with limited cell signal in that area it would have taken forever. I just went it to the office and they took care of the check in in just a minute. The virtual method needs to be streamlined.douglas W.

Newly built location. New system. Representative listened to my problems and obstacles I faced and did the best she could. I was charged additional for going over mileage. No credit given for failure of providing a dolly, additional mileage, changing reservation to a location last minute, issuing a truck with 1/8 tank of gas, and basic time inconvenience due to lack of corporate not being able to provide necessary resources to 3rd party and company locations for rentals in the South..JAMESLEE S.
I was disappointed that the installation took as long as it did. I was told it would take and hour but could be 90minutes depending on the condition of the car. Well the car was in fine condition I was told it was going to take longer because the didn't have the right size socket to remove a number of bolts. Akram was so attentive and helpful! He literally saved our lives by reinstalling equipment that broke and wasn't installed properly at a different uhaul location. Akram went above and beyond with his customer service. He also fixed a wiring issue that others failed to notice. Akram absolutely deserves the U-haul Employee of the Year reward!!NNENNA L.

I personally did not know enough,(initially), to call the main number to reserve. Once I did it was a breeze and my young lady was excellent. I started looking locally ...thought I reserved but did not. Fortunately I began trying to confirm24 hrs before needed and realized my errors. So make that main number morevisibble on your advertisements.Harry F.
I tried to pick up using the uhaul app and the wifi was horrible. Two other guys where there before me and said they had been trying for 20 minutes, but the connection kept dropping. I never did connect and had to wait for someone to show up, which delayed my move. At no point was I told about a potential connection to a uhaul server.Steven M.

I will avoid U-Haul when I can. On my last rental experience, they charge me a late fee on thruway tolls without ever sending me a bill in the first place. I believe this is a dishonest practice by U-Haul in order to collect an extra late fee. I'll ensure to spread the word in order to dissuade friends from using your company in the future. This is quite possibly one of the most well run businesses that I've ever dealt with. There was an unpredictable incident that had happened when I rented a van. The general manager as well as the rest of his staff were incredibly patient and understanding. This Could have potentially been a super highly stressful anxiety filled situation, But the staff was so helpful and reasonable.
