The gentleman at the counter that helped me was fantastic and extremely helpful. I believe his name was Justin and when I had trouble with checking in with app he stepped right in and checked me in. Wonderful employee.
This was my second rental at this location within a month. You staff did an excellent job. The vehicles were in tip-top condition with no issues. One was brand new! Uhaul's prices were much lower than the local competitors too.

What can you do to improve for the next customer? How about wear a mask and sanitize the vehicles between rentals? I was appalled that not a single employee was wearing a face covering either of the two days I stopped by this location. Absolutely disgusted by the selfishness and stupidity. Shame on you.

I had a significant problem making the reservation on the website. I made it to rent from a convenient location and it appeared to be all set up. Fortunately I called the next day to confirm and the person said well we can't guarantee the vehicle will be available because it's being used by UPS and they might not have it back when you reserved it for. The website reservation gave no indication of that. So they transferred me to a nearby U-Haul location but it turned out they had actually transferred me to the national reservation line who couldn't tell if the second location had the vehicle I needed. So I finally looked up the phone number of the second location, called them directly, and everything went well from there.
There were a few things I didn't like. When you call your local Uhaul office number, no one ever answers. You have to drive to the place to talk to someone there. The gate remote I was given was broken and no longer opened the gate. To access my unit after the office closed was not an option because I now needed a code. I eventually got a code and was able to access my unit at my convenience. Whenever I was in the store to rent a truck etc. the staff was always nice and friendly. My only other issue was online payment. For some reason my balance did not show up until the day it was due and after. I paid my first payment late because of that. The store manager was nice enough to waive the late fees and help me. Aside from not wanting to pay $130/month for my unit anymore, my stay was nice enough. I felt my things were safe and secure.
Location was great with short pickup notice. Jason and the other gentleman were very helpful.

The service at this location is always exceptional. Transactions are concise and quick, and employees are polite and helpful. A big shout out to Jason, who was very professional and accommodating.
No improvement needed that I could see I was waited on quick and professionally and the return was the same I called in my reservation and the woman on the phone was very knowledgeable and polite , overall great experience.

Not sure how or if this location needs improving. It seems to be very well run w/a very dedicated staff.
Maybe if possible --- show the customer where certain on/off switches are --- I rented a van and couldn't find where the on/off switch for the cargo area led light was located --- unloaded most of my cargo by the light of my phone.
Worst experience in my life!! I made a reservation a week in advance for a 1:00pm appointment time. When I arrived at 1:00 on the dot I was told the auto transport trailer was not available and I would have to wait until 3:00pm. That was unacceptable to me, so they contacted the person who was currently renting it and he supposedly agreed to take it back between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm. I was told that I would receive a phone call when it's in. But it should be back no later then 2:00. Mean time I was on a dead line to be back in my home town at a reasonable time. I drove 3.5 hours to pick up a utv and lined up everything perfectly so that would arrive back home by 5:00pm. Come 2:30 no call so I went back to the uhaul facility where I waited an additional 20 mins before they addressed me. Knowing damn well they still don't have the trailer. The guy who was working with me was less then helpful. Telling me he doesn't know what to do. Then tells me there is an auto transport in another location 20 mins away. So we left this facility and went to the other uhaul it's now 3:30 pm after finishing up paperwork that we already filled out two times prior to our arrival at the first facility we were finally on our way at 4:00pm thanks to them I hit all the traffic i could and didn't get home until 10:30pm with a very cranky 5 year old. Thanks for the lies and the terrible experience. I WILL BE SURE TO NEVER USE UHAUL EVER AGAIN.

I was pleased and mildly surprised to be able to have an in-person return on a Sunday (I might have misread the hours for this location). It made everything go much more smoothly. Within minutes of pulling up, the attendant acknowledged me, and moments after that, I was on my way. Very nice, and very professional.

I was told I would be given a receipt due to this not being the drop off the original drop off- Phillips Hardware refused to take it. Had to find a new drop off on my own- they were not helpful nor was the original point where we picked it up I asked for a receipt. I was told it was emailed to me. Have not rector, but my credit card was charged a higher price that expected. I will be contacting my credit card company

The truck was out of alignment and shook going anything over 45mph. The truck would not go over 40mph up hills

The ap to check in online was absolutely dreadful. I would NEVER use it again. Thank goodness one of the employees came out to ask how we were and took me inside to complete the rental.
I did not know that I had to pick up the truck within one hour of when I guessed weeks ago (noon). I came at 3:30 PM on Oct 29, 2020. Since I was late, you gave my truck to someone else! I thought that by giving you my credit card that you would hold the truck for me. I would I know this? Also, how would I know exactly what time I would pick it up 2 weeks in the future? Fortunately, it worked out as you had a smaller truck available which turned out to be a better fit for me, and cheaper too.

I had great experience with the guys at that location but customer service lady named Ashley who was nasty on the phone last Monday i would refer to extra customer loyalty program classes or just give another task to do like housekeeping or cleaning instead. But an attitude in conversation to value customer like me just tells me that she will be poorly skilled in cleaning either. Greetings to Christian Ashes and hope my thousand was spent at least wisely in 2016. 😀 Have a scary, funny Halloween USO and UHaul with Residency Inn Drivers..

The 1800 number rental answering service is complete incompetent. I had to drive to two seperate locations and found multiple equipment at the second location. The 1800 number said none were around and not available for days. Fire the manager. How much does it cost the company
The unit was cleared in 9/30/2020 and I made a payment in 9/25/2020 for Oct 1 to Oct 31 Refund submitted to card

The doors were replaced without our knowledge and the work was very messy. All of our storage was covered with thick dust and debris. You should have called us to put a tarp over the stored goods or put a tarp on yourself.
If I were to recommend, it would be to make reservations in person as opposed to online. The access code given to me online was invalid. Fortunately office was open. They told me that online access codes are almost always incorrect and need to be revised on site. That's unacceptable, hence the below average rating.

All staff who assisted us were very helpful, particularly given the fact it was a Saturday morning at the end of the month. Very busy day for them and a computer system problem gumming things up, but the service was professional throughout. We were in sudden need of a storage unit and our day could have gone from bad to worse, but Nicholas and staff treated us like old friends. Much appreciated!
The gate access code was never updated to the code of my choice. Instead I was told I could use a different code that didn't have my name associated. When I had trouble with the gate code, I unfortunately called and was transferred to a central operator who said she'd message the local office. THat didn't happen, fortunately I called local number again. THere are no instructions to use gate access and the call button is gone.
I tried to use the keypad 2 hours after renting. Unfortunately, my access code was NOT valid. I had to call the office and was diverted to corporate office who assured me they would contact local office. DIdn't happen. Fortunately I called the local office again and they provided a key code that was valid. The red help button on the key pad doesn't work. Why wasn't I warned that same day access wouldn''t work? Staff was helpful....but process was more stressful than expected
The code I received to get in to the facility was incorrect which was frustrating. Fortunately, an employee came by and was very helpful. He verified my unit, have me the correct code and let us in

The staff at the Central Ave location know how to treat people. They know that moving is not an easy task and make this part of the journey as smooth as possible . The storage unit is dry, and clean.

The hardest part was figuring out how to communicate that I was no longer using my storage unit, since I couldn't do this on the website or by calling. It worked out eventually though.
Great storage! Easily accessible. I would encourage getting the insurance because you don't know what other people are storing. If they attract rodents your property might be destroyed.
Broken access gate, mice,and garbage around the grounds. Was forced to change my lock to a more expensive lock, even though the lock I had was purchased from your store. It was a nightmare!!!
