Bashira SSome of the customer service is not friendly and there is no trash cans to throw away broken objects obtained while moving and it’s always a long wait even if you do everything mobile you still have to wait in line to get keys and that’s defeat the purpose of doing everything mobile

Tommy DDrop-off was super easyl I parked the truck and was headed to the office when one of the employees who was checking out another truck said to just leave the key on the seat with the 24/7 lock and he'd check it in for me. I did just that and a short time later, received a confirmation e-mail and the check-in was complete.

Tommie FHave more people on staff in the mornings. I rented a motorcycle twice within 3 days and both times there was only one person. The first week of the month is the worse time to understaffed. However, Bianca was excellent. She was running two different registers and taking calls. Even though there was bout 5 people in line She was amazing and extremely nice both times. She made the experience better but she needs help.
Alsommo LThere was no sun visor or horn on the 26 foot (huge) truck I rented. After driving to two other locations that did not have the truck I'd reserved, I'd wasted a bunch of time and had to postpone my move for the following day (which then I had to pay uhaul for) then was told I needed to return my truck back to the same location which is VERY far, even though my original reservation was supposed to allow me to drop off in the town I now live in. After my last experience with uhaul (the truck broke down and had to be towed) that I never got a refund for.. and is the reason I had to re-rent a truck- I will absolutely NEVER use uhaul again and will NEVER recommend for anyone else. My moving experience was absolutely horrifying

anthony w5 Star Rating. First of all, the customer service representatives at the desk were very professional. The tech (Brian) provided excellent customer service. He said the install would take about 2 hours and escorted me to the breakroom area to wait because I had no transportation. Upon completion of the install, he answered all of the questions I had and said that if there were any problems, concerns and/or questions, to please feel free to call. Overall, it was an excellent customer service experience and I'd be happy to recommend your location to all of my friends.

Susan HMake sure the trucks are being serviced. My Uhaul acted like it didn't want to crank up most of the time. Also the seat belt light sound to let you know you don't have on a seat belt kept going off and we had the seat belts on. Other than that is was a great experience.

Shakara RIn order to improve, the associates should check each truck as they arrive. I returned my truck and the guy with dread locks didn't check the truck. He just told me a receipt will be emailed. When I receive the email I see a $25 dollar charge and I KNOW for a FACT that I returned the truck worth the proper fuel according to my information. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed that they charged my card and I returned the truck at the proper gas levels.

Joshua DI overfilled the tank to full instead of 3/4 Employees laughed and said "thank you" To my understanding if I brought the truck back with less than 3/4 tank I would be charged $4,09 a gallon. Seems unfair and disrespectful. The process of renting the truck was easy. A little concerned the employee took pictures of my id on her personal phone and took pictures of me with her personal phone. Seems off to me. Bringing the truck back no one come to me when I pulled up. The workers were visibly on their phones. I had to go in and have the lady get someone outside to help me. The same crew that laughed and said thank you for the gas

Kendra M | Expérience généraleI technically got a truck on Saturday, December 22nd, moved out and returned the truck the same day. My only issue is with the insurance company for U-Haul. On October 18th while loading some items into my vehicle that I got from my storage, I tripped over a speed bump. The effect was so hard that a tremendous knot appeared on my forehead and black circles appeared around my eyes. I was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Fortunately no concussion. Injured my knee more than I realized. Even though the incident was my fault, I still should have been given some consideration (like free storage for a month, etc.) particularly since I sent pictures to them showing my injuries. I want to thank those who were on the scene to assist with putting my items in my vehicle, securing them until my next of kin came and particularly for the employee who was rubbing my back while I was face down and praying for me. Merci.

Also, upon my close out on Saturday morning at 10:00 one of the ladies ( with longer hair) sat, ate, & had myself & other customers waiting, seemed bothered that she had to walk me to my until to remove a lock & prior, she asked another male employee to assist me ( he had long hair dreads), he didn't want to assist. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. However, overall, I appreciate the safe & clean unit that I rented & the facility securing my lock when I had not.

Myself and a friend had to walk all of my furniture up THREE flights of stairs, because the elevator was out of service. I broke several of my personal items & even got hurt a few times. It was horrific! If I would have known prior to renting the storage unit, I would have never chosen this location. I was very unsatisfied. I spent almost $200 to rent the unit and couldn't even use the main thing to get my furniture to the unit. The only units that were available at the time was on the third floor. I would not recommend to anyone else.

After finally moving out I noticed some things were ruined due to their staff not properly checking after the water damage. This facility is poorly managed and I regret my decision of storing my things here. Management is awful and inconsiderate. There could be so much more to type but I will leave that for the Google review I will be leaving.

I had to carry my stuff down 2 flight upstairs They do not care I went to the desk 2 times still no answer So no I wouldn't recommend you out to nobody.

Wallis O | Expérience généraleI lost all my things in a massive flood at Uhaul a few days after I got storage, I was told I didn’t have insurance, ok I will take that, but I asked when did the flood happen, I was told Dec 30. 2021 they called me a week later on the january 5, after 7 days I could physically see any water damage, so I paid $124 for 7 months on a storage that I lost everything, U-Haul knew my things were 2ft under water, they even took things out and put it back damaged, the manager George was terrible his assistant was terrible customer service is horrible , so I paid for months thinking my things were still good lost 3Tv’s speakers 6 expensive mirrors that was destroyed, I can deal with not gaving insurance but to pay on a unit for 7 months total lost ti a flood is terrible a Double loss due to U-Haul staff no being honest about flood

rene b | Premières impressionsI'm quite disgusted with Uhaul, because recently they had a flood in their facility (Conyers, Ga.) that flood caused damage to my unit and I actually lost a beautiful dresser. The sad thing is that they told me there was nothing they could do to help me, because I did not have Uhaul insurance,I had to beg for 1 month free rent. The sad thing was I had 2 storage units 3110 and 30101 in my name and 1 in my husband's name and we had it for almost 2 years. So now I have a bedroom set without a dresser I just emptied the unit on January 30, 2022.

This made my move drastically harder and almost canceled. Luckly i had my own basic dolly that helped but still was not the best. If there once going to be one available it should not let me reserve it and i could went to a different uhaul that had what i needed

Tanysheyia P | Expérience généraleAlthough I was unable to get the storage unit size needed, I must say that the frustration experienced from weeks and weeks of calling the 1150 Dogwood Dr. Se Conyers, GA location was definitely made right upon my arrival. There were a few things that went wrong with me trying to reserve a storage unit from not being available, wrong unit, and then to no unit being reserved. Kayla was a blessing by being able to work her magic and honor the info. provided due to a mishap after not having anything available! Staff member Madison was EXCELLENT to include her thoroughness and knowledge about the reservation and unit process, her effective communication, professionalism, and patience displayed for all the questions that I had. Upon me returning the next day after realizing I would not need a storage unit, I was helped by staff member Shauntae or Shondra (please forgive me if name or spelling is wrong), but she was just as pleasant and helpful! This is a perfect example of why Good Customer Service is so important! The treatment from the names mentioned above made up for the entire negative experience that I had with U-Haul prior to my arrival.

I was told my unit was ready but when i got there it wasn't available and i had to get one that was smaller than i wanted.I asked for a discount sincr mine wasn't available and i couldn't get one on that either so i was very disappointed. My daughter is severely allergic to mold and mildew we couldn't bring anything from the unit into our home. As I tried to speak to the lady at the front desk she repeatedly said " there's nothing we can do". Well my lawyer says otherwise, and I've also been waiting on a call from the manager Christina, this happened on august 1st, it's now the 7th and still haven't heard anything.

It is clean and well maintained The biggest negative was that due to the very narrow hallways and low ceiling ductwork, we had one piece of furniture that could not be maneuvered to our unit. That single piece now must be stored elsewhere. Suggest that in future customers should be alerted that their large furniture may not fit into some units, even though the unit is large enough for the furniture. Also, the overall building design is not moving friendly. Hallways should be at least 1ft wider, or designated areas should be wider

I'm just relocating I don't have that kind of money right now. I called and was told by a supervisor it would be taken care of but nothing yet. Very aggravated!!
CRYSTAL L | Premières impressionsI gave this rating based on the fact that my items were tampered with and some things were stolen prior to me removing my items. In addition, the only lock that was on my unit was that of the staff (not my original lock) after being told that my lock will remain in place. Additionally, I have called the day that I was moving out of my unit and reported the incident...sent emails and still, "no response." As an end result, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. I have been a customer for over 17yrs and this is the first bad experience that I have had at this location.

We went to move on the 17th and at 10 when we got there what are access code was denied come to find out after 10 p.m. they close the doors and cut off the access code to where you can't get in. I don't understand why you have a access code and we couldn't get in. I think they need to clarify that the storage building closes at 10 p.m. and does not open till the next business day. Business is not handled that away when you have a storage building no matter where it's at and you got to access codes you should be allowed to get in at any hour it doesn't matter what time it is even if it's in a secured area and then lock doors as long as you got your access code then you should be able to get in. I had to finish oh my movie out of the building on the 18th of my fiance's birthday I don't think that's right that I had to give up my day plan for my fiance to come finish moving when we was there on the 17th and spoke to the lady in the office and she told us plain out that as long as you had your access code you're able to get in at any hours of the night.

Deborah L | Expérience généraleWhen I come in there I was checking in and the lady misunderstood and told me to back up to the loading dock and that was all we needed to do. My girlfriend ask me what was the pin # and she had to go back in there to see what was wrong because the lady thought i was just storagin more stuff in fact we had just gotten there to check on. Also my girlfriend had a lock and y'all made us pay for another one high dollar one that is stupid when we could have just gotten a cheap one to put on there and bring the other one back there after we off loaded the truck. I think that is so stupid and it's all about y'all getting more money out of people who already has spent a lot of money on moving. If you want to have more business you need to let people buy what they can afford if they already have a lock but just left it in the car because we had to unload the truck and bring it back to the house so we didn't bring the car. I also think we should be able to leave the truck at any place that that it's a UHaul place.

I can't remember their names but one was light skin with curly hair and a black guy with Hope tattoo on his arm. They were wonderful. This one girl was doing my payment and she had me press the yellow button to enter for my pin but I was suppose to press the green button because I had to repurchase something and that's what I did and it worked. She took my card and I putted the information into the screen I didn't like that. But other then that the guys were wonderful.

JOE M | Expérience généraleU-Haul was beyond helpful!!! The General Manager Darrell Douglas in Athens who initially made my reservation was absolutely great!! He accommodated everything I needed and I was very thankful. I would also like to thank Ms. Janice Blackwell for her superior customer service when I called the corporate call center for assistance. She went above and beyond assisting me and is a great example of how all companies should treat customers. She informed me on information I was eligible for regarding a storage unit that I was unaware of, and I am thankful for that as well. At the Conyers GA location, the General Manager Christina Casteel was super nice and friendly. She greatly assisted me with the confirmation of my storage unit and U-Haul truck needs prior to even arriving. Once there she was even more helpful in person with assisting me with a lock purchase and instructions of how to access my storage unit since it was my first time having one. Also I spoke with another customer service rep at the call center named Heather Hargrove who very politely dealt with me on the phone while I had to cancel a reservation for my car dolly. She made sure to take care of all of my needs and was very nice while doing so, and even asked if there was anything that I needed. Overall, I had a great experience with U-haul during my move and I feel that all of these named employees should be recognized for setting a true example of leadership at U-Haul. Their level of commitment to excellent customer service should be modeled by all. Me and my family cannot say thank you enough!
