Counterperson who setup the rental and also took the truck back when i returned it, was VERY nice, however was not at all knowledgable about the trucks. When i asked what size they would recommend for moving a refrigerator, i was told he did not know or wasnt aware of the heights, i had to look it up on my own. Additionally the truck i was given did not have a ramp, and it would have been helpful if it was suggested to take a truck that had a ramp. Associate was very nice and accomodating but lack of knowledge led to some frustrations during my moving experience.

I picked up a motorcycle trailer this past Saturday. I was with my 15 year old niece and didn’t think much of the transaction until we got back in my truck. I asked her, “is it me or were those people all super friendly?” To which she replied “I was just thinking that in my head”. From the gentlemen who helped us check in, to the female manager, to the guy who hooked trailer up, and ending with the guy today that disconnected trailer for me. One person was friendlier than the next. You can tell that there is a customer first culture here. Thank you for being such great people and happy new year!

store opened 15 minutes late with no apologies to the guy in front of me or myself. rear door of the truck was open over night and it had rained so the entire floor of the truck was wet and had to be dried before we could put anything inside. also truck was parked in the rear of the property which was a little bit of a walk in the rain. good customer service would have been having the truck up front and ready to go, I even had to take down the shade that covers the inside of the windshield . there was also a couple of uhaul policies I didn't agree with. having to download my drivers license with a cell phone and having to give a second phone number with an additional contact person in case they couldn't reach me. both of which I was told if I didn't agree with I could rent someplace else. last when I made the reservation I indicated that I didn't need a hand truck or moving blankets turns out they come in every truck and if you break the seal that keeps them tied to the wall you have to pay for using them. I rented the entire truck to put my stuff in no to store a hand truck and moving blankets I wasn't going to use. overall I will not be renting anything from uhaul in the future due to the those policies not being able to change.

More staff in the morning for pickups. Line is too long. I spent 2 hours on line last week only to be told that the truck.i rented was unavailable and they had no truck. Customer service disconnected my call so many times I gave up on trying to be compensated.

I arrived at 10:45 for an 11:00 reservation. I waited for over 1 1/2 hours on line . I had helpers waiting at my house that I was paying by the hour. I went 1 mile over the 45 miles that was aloud and you had the audacity to charge me .43 cents. The least your company could have done was give me a 10% discount to cover the cost of the movers I had to pay . Also maybe train your employees on how to communicate with the customers waiting in line for almost 2 hours . He obviously gets paid by the hour because he didn’t say a word to anyone and worked very slowly . I would not ever use you company again and plan on writing to your corporate office . I have used this location at least 10 times over the years, moving myself and other family members and I never had any problems before now. We have used everything from 25ft trucks to the cargo vans. We rented a cargo van this weekend to buy a couch. We went 11 miles, had the vehicle for less than 2hrs, and the person behind the desk charged us for 3 gals of gas @ $4.25 a gal. There is no way we used 1 gal of gas, never mind using 3 gallons, in a gasoline fueled cargo van. We were completely ripped off, I emailed back to the email I recieved with the receipt, asking for an explanation and recieved no reply. I told him at that time in the store that if he felt we needed to be charged for gas, after only 11 miles, then charge me for 1 gal, but he fought with me, in front of other customers who agreed with ME that what he was charging me was basically THEFT, and still got away with charging me for 3 gallons of gas. I guess your econo Cargo vans that you advertise get 20mpg, really get less than 4 mpg? Shame on him, and shame on Uhaul for not responding to a repeat costumer, and allowing a shady character to work for you. I will never use this place again. What a shame all around.

Had 7am appointment,. ,Had to wait for 30 minutes for employee to show up. He told me I had to get the truck back by 6pm or pay a fine. I got there at 6:45 and was in a tizzy, but the person who checked me in said all was fine. .

My initial reservation was triple booked !!!! I had to reschedule my plans and pick up the trailer the next day. When i returned the trailer earlier then i was suppose to i was then charged for an extra day. When i called to ask why, i was accused of parking the trailer incorrectly (which i did not) then i was told to call back the next day to get a refund. This is unacceptable. Also the trailer was missing one of the rear safety chains to secure the vehicle properly.

Your app sucks. Wastes a lot of time. Don't let the customer book a vehicle that you don't have and then call them to tell them it is unavailable. Second time this has happened to me. Unhappy with booking through the app. If you are going to send me to a dealer two towns away then you should be giving me a discount not charging me the extra mileage to go between my home and your shop twice. Today I paid for 14 miles that I should not have had to pay for had the vehicle been available where the app said it was. I could have changed dates or something but how would I know when a vehicle is actually available in my town if you always say it is when it isn't. Also, It should not take 30 minutes to pick up a vehicle. Shorten the process!

I am not sure why I was charged for two days of rental when I had the trailer for less then 24 hours. Picked up a little after 10 am Saturday morning and was back at Uhaul a little before 9 am on Sunday. It says 9:17 am but there was only one rep there and he was busy helping people inside and no one was there at drop off. So then I am waiting about 20 minutes for help.

Customer service when picking up the truck was terrible. I waited in line for nearly an hour for the one employee to get me set up, even after I had completed the reservation in advance online. The employee said there was no Wi-Fi in the building which impeded his ability to help the many customers waiting in line. I was very disappointed in the service overall and would not recommend this U Haul location to anyone.

The worker was over 2 hours late in the morning. A crowd of people had to wait outside for him to get there. Several people called the manager and she hung up on everyone. I finally called the main line for uhaul and a rep was helping me, but the manager ended up hanging up on her as well. The worker was supposed to be there at 6:30 am but forgot his key and didn’t come back until 8:45am. Although the manager lived 5 minutes away and could not help the people who had reservations for earlier. We should all be refunded. Very rude and unprofessional.

I had to walk the parking lot to pick up my rental which was all the way in the back, and was told to just look for the number. I was told the rental time starts when you enter it into the computer. It took me about 25 minutes to look over the rental and have them add damage stickers to the truck so I wouldn’t be charged. The truck was good just poor service.

They charged me $20 for returning it after hours . I specifically asked he said i would not be charge anything for that as long as it’s back in the lot by 1130. I asked him if he was sure his response was condescending “ I do this every day” ! In addition I rented a hand truck for $10 the wheel was seized so I had to go out and purchase a hand truck because the one I rented didn’t roll. The guy at the store just put it in the back of the truck without taking the wheel in to consideration When I called to get clarification on the additional charge it took 2 calls the 1st call the women told me i was wrong and i was not being charged the $20 she was rude. The second call he did not empathize he just took notes and told me someone will be in touch with me if they need to. Neither of them were interested in helping to rectify any of the situations. So this was an extremely poor experience with even more disappointment with the customer service. I am hopeful that I receive follow up on these issues and that the company will do what's right by their customers. Being charged extra is wrong and misleading.

We had an 8 am reservation because we were emptying a storage unit from the facility next door and moving into a home. We selected the earliest available time because we ha dscheduled for moving help and also workers to help on our new home. The associate opening Sunday was over an hour late to let me the long line of other customers in. He wasn’t professional or accommodating at all and was rude to another woman who was asking about what time the facility actually opens. However, the manager and the associates that were present when we returned the truck were extremely helpful and fixed the issue and were extremely accommodating to me and my husband in fixing the issue. They were very pleasant and professional.
