Quick and easy process. Whole experience was excellent from reserving online all the way to drop off. Malik Austin was great. He was professional and helpful. He made the experience go smooth.

The trailer was hooked up by Uhaul employee. While driving on highway the pin fell out of trailer hitch almost causing a major accident. When I called u haul roadside I was told my wait time to speak to a rep would be 45 min. I was in the middle of the meridian on an extremely busy highway . very dangerous. I called the local shop and all the guy was worried about was being blamed for what happened . he repeated over and over there was nothing he could do. Told me to go to Home Depot and buy a pin. My vehicle was in the middle of a highway with no way to work on it. This was the most terrifying experience me or my family have ever experienced and u haul could care less. What we went through to get that trailer out of there was unreal and with zero help or care for me or the people behind us that could have been hurt by the failing u haul equipment or the incorrect installation of the equipment my u haul employees who just don't care.I will be following this up to the highest level.

My experience with Malik, the rep at the location on Sunday morning, was good. So was the help of Brenda, the phone-rep who helped me when I returned the truck but was unable to use the app. The only problem with the truck--but it is serious--was the condition of the *headlights*. They were very dim and misaligned (pointing downwards right in front of the truck). This made driving dangerous in the dark.

Apparently I was charged for fuel. When I in fact replaced the fuel that was consumed during usage of the vehicle. When I explained this to the representative. She asked me if I took a picture prior to using the vehicle. Seriously?! A company as big as uhaul is unable to maintain accurate records?? Very disappointing. Will utilize another company for future needs.

Truck had less than quarter tank of gas, brought it back where the needle exactly was, associate wanted to charge me more money for brining truck back with less than I left with which was not true, he asked if I took a picture of gauge before leaving, I said no and told me it's my fault because I don't have proof, so I key with truck to add more gas yet again, I drive 17,5 totally during the rental and put over 5 gallons of gas in truck, don't make any sense, very unprofessional and poor customer service

Only problem with rental experience was the car tow dolly, the design is horrible, where the front tires of the car you were towing set onto the dolly, that portion should not be allowed to swivel, but in the design it swivels. Making backing up next to impossible…..

Trailer had a broken extension harness for the lights. After buying my own extender, the trailer only had brake and turn signal functionality. The tail/clearance lights never worked.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE from ordering the truck to returning!

Charged more than I was told, the vehicle had multiple service lights on, I was given a spare key, nobody even showed me where the vehicle was I had to wander around the parking lot alone until I found it, when I came back to return it, nobody was inside the building, outside the building or anywhere to be found. I honked twice still nothing, there were about 5 people in total wandering around looking for an employee. Finally someone showed up and charged me more than my receipt states but I was assured that the additional amount would fall off once the transaction was cleared?? This was not stated anywhere on the paperwork or the website of any additional unknown charges.

Extremely courteous staff both when we picked up the truck and when we returned it. I wish every business had employees that respectful and friendly. The truck was clean, however after a cold start, it sounded like a diesel engine for the first 5 minutes or so. Very noisy, like maybe a worn timing chain, but it cleared up after 5 minutes, I verified that it was indeed, a gas engine. I shut it down and attempted to check the oil but couldn't get the dip stick to come out. Overall good experience.

I first called the Coram location to inquire about a storage unit and had the pleasure of speaking with Arron, the location manager. We spoke briefly over the phone and I figured it would be easier to go down and speak to him in person since I work riguht up the road and had a lot of questions. From start to finish, Arron was so friendly and helpful. We discussed my upcoming move and what would be best for me and my current situation, and I left there feeling confident that my personal belongings were in good care. Thank you, Arron! Moving can be stressful and you made this part easy and painless. Would 10/10 recommend anyone looking to rent a Uhaul vehicle or storage unit!

Nothing, the worker who helped me with my rental made sure the truck was ready and warmed up and the total price estimate was only a few dollars shy of the actual bill. The only negative thing was the $20 dollars I had to put in the gas tank to bring it up to the level it showed when I picked up the truck. I only drove 40 miles so the gas mileage sucks

They performed a great job. I accidentally left some of my moving supplies in the enclosed 6x12 trailer(finished moving late and woke up late) and when calling the location they removed the items from the trailer and secured them until I was able to return to the location to pick them up. Thanks Tom.

I was told i was gonna get a 15x9 then it was rented out and i had to pay for 2 9x9 and was given "first month free" even though i was already going to rent a truck and the promotion was first month free. Womp.

My account was not closed out the day I moved all my storage . My credit card was charged a extra month. It eventually was taken care of after I called U-Haul but the fact that it was left opened and I was charged a extra month made the difference of a 5 star rating and a 4 star rating. Otherwise all in all I would still recommend U-Haul in Coram to my friends. 4 Stars

I would only add one thing... There were some puddles on the ground of the interior first floor near the units. They seemed to just be in the hallway though, so that is why it hasn't affected my review. Other than that, very good process for me.

By far the most unprofessional experience I've had with a business to date because of the poor customer service your employee Eric Austin & Scott have provided. Eric Austin threatened and challenged me plenty of times to a fight in which I would not of been scared one bit of this little guy but I was in the process of moving furniture into storage with my family. This guy was acting as if we were on the street and even told me let's walk down the block off camera and handle it. I am 33 yrs old with 2 children & I can't believe I had to deal with this poor customer service from your company. Had I not been with my nephew and family things probably would've went a different route to teach him a lesson but I'm glad I kept cool and got my storage and got out of there. The topping on the cake as I was moving all of my storage into unit another customer comes around the corner in the biggest box truck you have and tried to cut the corner to short and smashed and swiped the whole front of my uhaul truck that was totally off with no key in it in park. This was the worst experience I've had recently with a business and most of it was due to poor customer service, one of the main things that draws attention to your company you guys shouldn't be pushing customers away based on your staffs attitude. I know Aaron personally from past business and he would've never gave me this type of customer service. I'm very sorry that you guys have to deal with these type of comments but I'm sure it isn't the first based off of his short temper and attitude.

The building my unit was in smelled like urine. There must be a person living in there. This is why I couldn't continue business with you guys. I did inform staff.

The UHAUL representative was very helpful! The unit was cleaned when he walked me to it (not his fault) and when he couldn't find another clean unit, he cleaned it himself. The unit did smell like hay but I know that was no fault of him so although that was the case, the representative was so helpful hence the above average rating.

The online check in process seemed easy but I arrived to the unit after closing. It took a while to figure out how to get into the building as I was trying to access the slide doors when Afterhours the manual entry door is the only point of access. It would have been nice to know that. Also, once I got in there was a locked padlock on my door so I couldn't get into the unit anyway. That was very poor. When I tried explaining that to the rep the next morning he wasn't understanding what I was saying even though there is no clearer way to say there was a locked padlock on my storage unit and I couldn't get in. That was very disconcerting but he was helpful and once he understood what was going on he unlocked it.

I know in business: payroll is your only controllable expense , trying to figure out your busy times could be a challenge! I'm saying that , there are some days when the facility is short staffed and the wait in the office is a little long. Still my overall experience was great. Those times when you were short staffed, the employee that was there was doing a good job.

The storage was clean and the gentlemen was friendly but my overall experience with Uhaul was a disgrace I would never recommend them to anyone They dont keep their word. If you book a truck in advance it doesnt mean anything because up to the last minute they change your order It was a great inconvenience and a supervisor never called me back when i requested. They only send emails saying they cant do anything for me

Been a client for many years there was water damage in unit that I was never notified of so I lost a few things , thanks , when I closed out I asked if there was a partial refund for the month and was told I was already out of the system and the person who closed me out said they didn't know . I called the main number waited on hold for 20 minutes , was told to call another number which I did , and was told to call the manager of the Coram location I was in , the manager was not in , no callback , no response .

These guys were top-notch, hands down. Aaron helped me out in the morning after the app screwed up my reservation (corporate needs to look into that, cmon guys). You could tell Aaron knew the place inside and out. He was super nice, quick and got me in and out with the truck I needed and had an awesome attitude the whole time. Then the gentleman at night of whom I worked with to get a larger storage space and turn my truck in could not have been more pleasant or helpful. I wish folks I dealt with at my workplace were this good at what they did. I'll use the Coram office anytime I move my stuff in the future, and will recommend to friends and family. Well done, gents!
