You have the worst customer service and I am filing a complaint. My bedroom dresser was damaged and my mattress. I bought the insurance and I am filing a claim. The only helpful person was Lois Prudhomes. You shored her pay. Made her rent a truck so she could deliver my furniture which was still 2 days late.alice C.
The U-Haul self check-in app never works properly. It will not accept the "take a picture of the mileage/gas" step and then I have to wait for the Uhaul employee to do the check.DONNA P.

The staff was great, hats off to those guys first of all. They were friendly and courteous. If there is anything I can say to make a smooth transaction, I would advise CUSTOMERS to make reservations online, fill out everything accordingly including driver license. I noticed when I arrived I was in and out. I also notice in the brief time checking in, everyone around me was doing everything I had already done while making the reservation online. So just a quick tip, do it all online or phone and you can get in out and make it easier on the staff. I know the guy checking me said "I wish all the customers were like you."Martin R.

Terrible Experience! Rented 3 Uboxes while remodeling my house and had them store them locally in Corpus Christi TX. About 3 weeks after they were in storage I received an email saying Uhaul out of Ohio had charged me 54 $for an Ubox and were going to charge me 1200 for shipping from Ohio. I called Uhaul got national call center and spoke with them. After about 30 minutes and talking to them I was told that someone who was shipping a box from Ohio to Corpus Christi and the local Uhaul in Ohio charged it to my account and my card on file for my boxes were charged. They advised me that they would refund the money and take my card off file and look into the matter more and get back with me. They assured me that my card on file would not be charged the 1 200 $. Well about a week later I get a text from my Credit Card Company saying that someone in Ohio Uhaul is charging 1 200 $to my card and if this was correct,. I call my card company and tell them no and advised them what is going on. I had to cancel my card thinking somebody has my information and on top of that the 54 $I was charged earlier was never refunded. This card is my main card that I use all the time and have with me. I get the miles and just pay it off at the end of the month. My bills and utilities come out of it. I pretty much use it as a debit card. So now I have to wait for a new card and change everything over to the new card. A huge pain in the butt. I call Uhaul locally and they tell me they will look into it and get back with me. When they call me I finally found out that they shipped one of my boxes to Ohio and when they figured it out that they had it shipped back to Corpus Christi and were charging me for the shipping and that I should be receiving a phone call from Uhaul National Call center to get it all straightened out. I received a phone call and speaking to some manager they tell me that they are going to waive the shipping fee from Ohio with some type of VIP thing like it was some type of special favor they were doing me. I was beyond angry now and decided the best thing to do was not to do anything until I get all of my boxes back and out of storage so nothing could happen to them. A couple of days later I call Uhaul to schedule picking up my boxes. I scheduled to get one on a Saturday and the others on a Monday as I had moving help coming on Monday to help unpack. I could not pick my one box up on Saturday due to working that day so I call them and tell them I will be there at 8am on Monday. I get there at 8am and my boxes are still in the warehouse not ready. It takes about an hour to get one on a trailer. I take that one and tell them that I will drop the one off that I have and go back and get another one in about 30 minutes. I do that and when I go to pick the 2nd one up, I am told that I need to only get one at a time and they need the trailer to load them on. There were 3 more trailers that next to where I was standing. Again I am ticked but if I want my stuff what can I do. So I go back unload everything out of that box and go back for them to offload the empty box and put a full one back on. I have to do this for each of my boxes all while I have movers standing around waiting for the box to unload. This is the worst experience with moving I have ever had. With this place being a terrible Uhaul place I will say that several of there employees were very nice and helped me while I was there but its obviously has some management or owner issues. Now that I have this review written I will be talking to Uhaul corporate to get my complaint filed. Didn't want to do that until I was sent the link to leave a review of this place. I have been with this UHAUL for over five years so I can honestly say they are worth using. I remember in the beginning having one or two minor issues such as I lost my key card or my payment didn't go through; and the manager John Medrano always helped me square things right away. I really appreciate all my questions being honestly answered even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear, because the staff remained kind and professional. I just moved out and excited to say all my expensive furniture remained intact and clean, just like the day I left them in storage, five years ago. Thank you UHAUL! I would have rated you poorly other than the exceptional employees you have working there. The units themselves are roach and rat infested! It was the most disgusting thing I've ever encountered. Female employee was very rude both on the phone and in person. Made a snarky remark because I didn't take my phone with me to take a picture of my license. Very frustrated that my reservation location changed multiple times. Also uhaul changed my truck size (to be a smaller truck) which caused me to have to do more work for my move. This location also didn't have the furniture pads in stock that I ordered. The team members at this location we're very rude. Overall very disappointed in my experience with uhaul.paul H.

Every employee fight with customer. They a real giving hard time. I reserve a 80 $storage unit and was forced to pay about 139 $. The climate control was very warm it ruined my items. I requested to order a truck to move out from you guys. They wouldn't help and hung up. This was daytime black man and black lady. Also same issue with Hispanic daytime man and woman. I reserved a trailer that was supposed to be available at 7101 Yorktown blvd in Corpus Christi. When I got there they said that they didn't rent trailers. Then I contacted U-Haul customer service and was told that there is no trailer available in the city. I had to switch to a uncovered trailer and go all the way across town to get it. Their inventory system need to be updated to be able to properly track their actual inventory. This happened majority of the time that I rented from them. It is very frustrating. They will change location and don't notify you. You can definitely expect this every time you rent from them.Tilson D.

You can start by not charging such an Exuberant amount of money for a 4 hour rental on a car hauler. I was charged 200 $for the rental and am additional 3,50 $ for God knows what Before taxes. I rented the exact same hauler less than a year ago with the coverage for 75 $& change. NEVER USING UHAUL AGAINELOISA A.
Could have used an exterior wash, but it wasn't bad. I disputed the fuel before pick up in the app, it was about an 1/8 lower than the app or paperwork showed, when I returned it the link in the text message never changed it and still showed it at 1/2 tank when it should have been about an 1/8 lower. The rep in the store took care of it. Why have us dispute at checkout if you will not update it?Winston A.

I had a reservation for a climate control 10x15 at the SPID location however after packing my entire house in Houston and driving 4 hours I am told at the SPID location that they don't have any available. They referred me to their Port location so after arriving there we are given 2 storage options neither are climate controlled which is specifically what I needed. The 2 options included one that still had a mattress and other miscellaneous stuff from the previous tenant or one with Big holes in the walls and grease and dirt all over the floor. So all of mine and my families possessions are now stored in a 10x15 non climate controlled storage rooms with holes in the wall which can be accessed by the room next door but at that point I don't have an option because they tell me I still have to get the truck back to SPID by 3pm and I was out of time. I appreciate being left stranded with no where to put my stuff because y'all messed up the reservation and the extreme lack of caring from your staff. I spent over 500 $renting a truck from Uhaul which I have done several times in the past but this will be the last time I ever use U-Haul for truck or storage and I am going to make sure I tell every family member and friend exactly how my experience went And show them the pictures I took of my storage unit so they know what to expect if they ever have the need for storage or truck rental.
