Excellent experience. I booked the truck the day before and requested to make a change at 1130 at night. I got a text confirming the change from an employee (Tatiyanna) that works at the store within minutes of my change request. The fast response eased my mind. Tatiyanna was working the next day. She was very personable, professional, well spoken and helpful. Uhaul should count there blessings to have such a dedicated employee working for them. I would def use this location again.

You can start by actually having a mat that fits the back of the van. Also the tire pressure sensor is faulty and needs to be fixed also was addressed and brought up last week (never resolved) and (a real safety hazard). The van has the license plate number ALO5884. You can also maybe listen to customers requests as I tried to address this last time with a terrible representative over at this location, it is your one and only sad job they have to do. As I mentioned previously and I'll say it again to get it through, I have addressed these issues in the past as I have had this van prior to my experience this past weekend. I hope some real changes happen with your location, wake up.

The truck was good, and the location was clean. When we went to return the truck, however, the agent does not have enough intelligence to handle this basic transaction. She thought we were returning it a day late, and was starting to charge us for an extra day. After she called the district manager, and after I was very stressed for about 20 minutes, they finally realized that the local agent got today's dates wrong. I also found it very difficult to understand her through her accent. I am not at all a bigot, but between the difficulty understanding her, and her being dumb as dirt, it was an unnecessarily stressful experience that I really really am unhappy about.

Drop off location is horrible, zero lightning from the highway entering and exiting. I passed the driveway and so didn't my ride. Also, No signage big enough to read at night. Very disappointed in drop off set up, wont use this location again or recommend it.

The vehicle was old, the oil light kept coming on... the alarm bell kept sounding on... because the driver side door would not shut fully. It was a bit dangerous... I only traveled 44 miles so I tolerated the lousy vehicle. in the future I will only accept newer models. Staff at this location not friendly nor helpful. As of today 2 days after returning the vehicle, I have not received a final bill... which should be a lot less then what was charged. The employee charged me for 100 miles and assured me it would be corrected once vehicle returned... Still no final bill.... Looks like I will have to dispute any unauthorized charges. All in all, I will seek out another location in the future.

The low gas light came on after I drove only 4 miles. I was told that I needed to bring it back with 1/4 tank, despite it having less than that when I picked it up. By the time I saw the email to approve photos, the link had exported. It would be helpful to tell people to check that out when you give them the keys.

I needed storage while I was waiting to move. This was my first experience using a storage center. Beth and her team made the experience a good one. I was usually there on Saturdays and Cynthia and Charlie were friendly and attentive. Ned kept the place looking good. Sharon and Rose always had a smile. Matt and Billy were there to answer questions. If I left anyone out know that I never left UHaul Danvers without thinking, that was a good experience. If I need storage in the future I know where to go. I've told friends about UHaul too. Merci!

I had a unit for roughly 10 years and U-Haul of Danvers was consistently a quality storage service provider. They are the example of how to do storage right. I only left because I moved away from the area. Thank you for all the years of great service!

The UHaul in Danvers is always clean and the folks who work there are friendly and helpful. I moved from another storage company and have been so happy with the move. I have a couple of units and the storage fees have remained pretty stable, as well.

The questions above do not match the criteria needed for this survey I never saw the facility. employee never offered A walk through to show me the unit. The location is on rte 1 North bound. Difficult for me to get there.I was told I could rent a unit for 50$/mo for 2 years. When I brought it up she was rude saying she never said it. Then I was told I had to buy a lock from you. You kept adding charges and I was overwhelmed. I never moved in. I went the next day and cancelled.

there were 2 females working at the location that were helpful there was an older man who tried to help me but he was not well trained (not his fault) And finally there was a young man with black hair who literally sat our whole exchange with his feet up on the counter space The young man did not look anything up in the computer to verify what I asked for service with and just did not seem in the mood to look Also I had issues accessing my storage after hours more than once even though that is what I paid for, this was corrected but I did have to come back to the office during office hours several times which defeats the purpose of 24/7 access

The associates were very friendly and helpful and it was easy to get in and out of the storage unit itself (once I got there). My one complaint is that traffic flow is difficult around the facility. I'm not sure how to resolve that. We didn't have too much of a problem but I imagine during your busy times if there are a lot of people there, parking and access might be difficult. Also, the entrance is sort of hidden and easy to miss, and I was very glad to see you put a lighted sign at the entrance from route 1--that will help with visibility. The associates behind the counter were all very cheerful and helpful and this makes up for any physical difficulties of the place! Thank you very much!!

The woman in the front office was professional and extremely helpful in showing me everything I would need to know, including checking in and out of the unit, using the truck, etc. She even went so far as to help me check and adjust my rear view mirrors for safe driving. She made the process of renting a unit and a truck entirely stress-free. A+. Many thanks!

During a stressful time of getting our entire top floor hardwood floors refinished, Beth was so very helping in setting up a plan for us and saved us over $350.00. By renting a 15' truck and using the free storage, it made the hold experience simple and stress free. The trucks were clean, the storage area was bright and brand new looking. This was the most pleasurable experience of the hold ordeal. Thanks to Beth and Tatiana for coming through. Will definitely use the Danvers location again.

After renting here for 12 months, I spent a whole day moving to a less conveniently-located facility because this U-Haul location is so bad. I have: (1) been locked out of my unit (not billing related), (2) been trapped in the facility, (3) had papers in my "air conditioned" unit ruined due to humidity, and (4) measured the indoor temperature last week at 29 degrees Fahrenheit. All the while, I experienced totally inept customer service. 1) Over the course of two weeks, I visited my unit after hours twice and was unable to use my card to get in. After going out of my way to visit during office hours, I was told, "Oh yeah the card readers don't work on building D… we will get you PIN access." U-Haul management should have notified customers rather than leaving it to us to figure out that the card reader wasn't working. 2) On December 11th at 5pm I entered the facility, which has one entrance and one exit off the highway, only to find construction trucks blocking the exit. After notifying the construction crew to my presence, I was still unable to access my unit or even leave the facility for 20 minutes. This could have easily been prevented by management coordinating to move U-Haul trucks that eliminated means of navigating around the construction trucks. 3/4) Don't expect the indoor "air-conditioned" units to amount to anything. For over a month this summer, A/C was malfunctioning in building D such that the floor had pools of water from condensation on pipes… the resulting humidity was enough to destroy any exposed papers items in storage. This winter, I measured the building's inside temperature to be below freezing. I understand that things break, but at least notify your customers! When I was dealing with the broken card readers on July 17, 2020, one of the employees was not wearing a mask. He was talking to two customers (both wearing masks) at a short distance. Regardless how you feel about masks, his attitude was objectively disrespectful towards those customers. This total lack of care is made apparent by every single U-Haul employee at this location by their inability to provide reasonably reliable unit access and/or notification of the facility's state of disrepair.

The assistant manager, Ben, was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Ben explained to my wife and I the ins and outs of the storage facility and process. He took us to our unit after we signed up online, explaining the security, how to use of key card and lock. Overall it was an excellent experience. Ben was fantastic, we would give him an A+

Beth is a great employee. The several times I've been there or called she has been been courteous, clear, sincere in her efforts and recommendations and overall terrific. She is confident in her job and it is reflected in the way she treats each customer (i've been in a short line while she handled live customers and the phones). Superior to so many others who work with the general public.

The morning when I picked up my truck the girl was exceptional! When I went to drop it off was frustrating though. I arrived close to closing time and the guy asked me to do online drop off. The internet wouldn't work on my phone so I was unable to complete it. He was still there but kept busy looking at the other vehicles turned in whose customers had left. I felt like he should have helped me since I was there in person.

It was a pleasure , both the ladies we death with were great. Tatiana was very good. It was nice seeing a young person with such great people skills. She didn't even flinch when I couldn't open the doors. A lot of young people would give you that old people are annoying look.

U-Haul of Danvers is definitely a secure place, there are cameras everywhere. I went Thursday night to close out my storage unit and the front desk had 2 workers. I needed to wait about 15 minutes before being taken care of but once I was being served things went quickly. I would recommend this facility. Thanks Bob

This was a last minute storage rental I made with Beth an hour before closing. I had a reservation for a truck and storage unit at U-Haul 222 Central Street Saugus but they close early (Thursday 2/20/20 before 4:30) so I was left high and dry. I ended up getting my truck from Ricky at the Saugus Broadway facility and he recommended Beth at the Danvers facility for my storage units. Beth was knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend both the Saugus Broadway facility and the Danvers facility. Stay away from U-Haul at 222 Central Street Saugus. Thanks Bob Santiano
