Explain how the app process works up front. I used it to check in but still had to finish up at the counter. Maybe if I had known the steps before hand I would have understood what needed to be done so counter check in wouldn't have been necessary?

This location was hassle free. I will always rent from them. I stopped by three other locations the same day and they had the equipment I needed but they could not rent it to me , Because they didn't know how. They blamed it on corporate. I left with no rental shaking my head, so I stopped at the Daytona location , they made it effortless.

Hire competent employees who can complete their tasks. They made a mistake and blamed me for not reading the contract because they don’t understand what they’re doing. Act like you don’t matter. They just don’t care.... terrible. Worst experience ever with this company.

Online registration was fast and easy with Mary. In store the owner was pleasant at check in. My only problem was the truck I was given was so beat up and wrecked I was scared to take it thinking your going to stick me with a big bill. If you forewarned me that because I was only short distance in town that you were giving me at truck that has dents and scrapes EVERYWHERE I might have been prepared to see that. It was a shock and I had to take pictures of literally the whole truck. It was unnerving. Other than that everyone was nice and easy to deal with. Thanks for a good move. We’ll be back in 15-20 days to move my son...Thanks

Employees are rude. Before I said anything, the EE said all we have is a 26’ footer. I said you don’t have the 17” footer because I reserved one. He responded with, you should’ve said that. He didn’t give me a chance to talk

We initially rented 120 pads for our move but after we packed our truck, we realized we only needed half that amount of 60... we called the store and they said "no problem", bring back the 60 and they would refund the $50 for it. When I returned with the 60 pads, they took possession of them BUT could NOT get "the computer system" to refund my credit card (after several attempts to change the rental contract)... so they said "no worries" when I check-in the truck, just tell them there to refund the $50 and have them transfer the 60 back to their store... well that did NOT work when I dropped off the truck. The receiving store said it HAD TO BE DONE at the selling store... they could NOT help me! He recommended I call the 800# to get this resolved at this point in time. UGH! Sounds like the "computer system" is not very flexible for making changes once the order has been initially processed.

My U-Box was given to us on the trailer backwards so we got it home, and had to take the whole thing back to have it switched around. Everything I own was in their storage, and is covered in rat poo.

When I called the facility to find out if I would be charged if I couldn't unload my Ubox on the specified date, the agent didn't know. I was able to change the unload date twice and was not charged.

I didn't go to the u-haul facility, everything was handled by phone, I had a U-Box not a moving truck, we packed it and U-haul shipped it. Few miscommunications but was able to resolve issues quickly.

Cannot rate the above. Had a UHaul Bix delivered. I know the location from having lived in the area since 1984. Have never been at the property. Only driven by numerous times.
