No running lights or tail lights. Service was ok but .. do your job take it out of service fix the trailer then rent it out. Especially when you had another trailer out back of building that everything probably worked properly and legally. Disgusted.ERIC G.

I have no problem with this location, however, we ended up spending more in miles because they didn't even give us enough miles credit for our 1 way trip. It was 206 miles. Plus we had to back track an additional 26 miles to get to the nearest drop off. And since we were over our allotted miles, it was then $1 per mile, having to cost us almost $60 extra.Chloe W.

The U Haul facility was clean and very easy to go in and out of. The employees were very nice and always pleasant. We discontinued the use of our storage unit because the price went to $44,95 per month for a 5 x 10 ft upstairs unit. Just the previous October, the sign price was $29.95. But when my husband and I then requested a rental unit, the computer had the price at $39.95. We were annoyed at the inaccurate pricing signage. We went with it, but now feel that after only one year that it was too soon for another price hike. I rented from this Uhaul site and within 7 hours of my rental they were calling to ask for my return. Then After my return. They called me and asked me. Where I was. I told him who I dealt with and they said, oh, they must not have processed the paperwork.LINDA N.
I reserved a 20 foot truck and when I arrived to pick it up they did not have one. Settled for a smaller 15 foot truck and had to take multiple trips costing me money. If you take a reservation keep the reservation!Tim B.

Upon drop off it was a different experience. The drop off location kept calling me asking when I was returning the rental. They didn't tell me the costs when I asked and said they would email me a receipt (which they never did). I had questions at drop off but 2 younger workers just came out and started to look at the rental, even hammering on the trailer at one point. As I was heading home I saw a charge for over $600 hit my credit card with no explanation. I had prepaid for the entire thing too !Eric H.

The first truck had the â€œservice Engine soon light onâ€ so we had to get Another truck. Also it would be easier if the gas tanks were full when you pickup so you could just bring it back full. It's harder to fill to 5/8 if a tank vs a full tank.Kathy S.

More "tie-offs" in the Ubox. When you are stacking to fill space; there are not enough tie-offs to work to the top. Hence, things topple forward. Need at least 2-3 top to bottom and 2-3 front to back.Kelly B.

My car had broken in the process of running errands prior to my plans of renting the UHaul. Bradley, a younger generation, gave me the UHaul rental for a full 24 hours and I did not even ask. I was allowed to return the UHaul to an Appleton location instead of DePere so that I could make it home safely that night. (My progressive insurance did not cover a car rental unless I was in an accident and my car was just broken down.) Auto Aces accepted my car on short notice and it was fixed by next day. Cassidy changed and arranged it so that I could drop off the UHaul back at their location in DePere. Such helpful people to me. I am blessed to have received this kind of treatment. Thank you. I pulled up to the return station during office hours and waited in the vehicle like the instructions told me to do. After waiting 15 minutes no one came out to the truck. So I went into the store and there was an employee in the store and he said he heard the bell but didn't see me the truck out at the return station because another vehicle was parked in the lot. I wish the tarp was easier to work with around the pod container. One thing I was disappointed in was that I need a tool to open the shed and didn't have that tool handy so I dug out a pliers and made it work. The top of the tarp kept getting stuck under the door and it was hard to reach the top of the tarp to keep it from closing in the door. I was very happy with the box in general. I did however use the U-Haul labor and added services that did not go well at all.Kristin T.
I spoke to 3 customer service reps over the course of my reservation. All 3 were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our rental experience was flawless. Upon making the initial reservation, the person I spoke with helped me decide which piece of equipment would best meet my needs (motorcycle trailer). She answered all my questions and prepared me for pick up. While at the De Pere location, the young woman that helped us was wonderful! She explained the process clearly, advised us on how best to use the equipment and return it. When I called to extend the rental, I spoke with Kevin (customer service rep in Georgia). He was polite, professional, and was able to help set up the extension with no issues. I could hear him smile over the phone! Im very happy with every level of my rental. This Uhaul location was attentive to my needs. I needed the truck for 12 hours on a Saturday and it was not an issue. This was my first time using a Uhaul and I did not strap my stuff in. I ended up breaking an end table and microwave, nothing that Uhaul did, and they were very helpful in assisting me to clean up the mess to not have to pay an additional clean up fee. This location let me use their dumpster, broom, and dust pan to clean up the broken glass out of the back of the truck. I had paid for extra mileage and the charges on my credit reflected the actual mileage that I used. I am satisfied with their service.Dezaray C.

I rented an appliance dolly. I did not know at the time that both belts did not work and we're broken. Neither one rotated at all. Looks like it had been that way for a while based on how worn the plastic was around it. Was backbreaking trying to get the appliances up the stairs unfortunately. The employees at this location are great but appears no one checked the equipment. i'll let them know that when I returned it that it should not be rented until it's fixedDan Y.

Check your equipment. You give me a 6x12 pull trailer that had 3 bad tires on it with one of them blowing out after driving only 20 miles. We were going to Wisconsin. It took over 4 hours for roadside service to come change the tires and only changed two. We had to drive from Ga to Tennessee. The next morning before we could even leave to drive to Wisconsin it took them 31/2 hours to get to us to change the last bad tire. Plus on top of all this they charged me almost $45 more than what they had originally quoted me. I will never rent from uhaul again!Donald M.

Getting the access code to work was terrible. The steps to access the building was terrible. Instead of a 2 step system, I'd recommend setting up a system that automatically locks and sets the alarm for each unit after its closed and unopened for 15 minutes. So Instead of sliding your card or entering a code twice, the first time you slide the card or enter the code should disarm the alarm as well as allow entry into the building. Also there's some great income revenue lost. As i was working unliading my truck, all i wanted was a bubbly beverage. I had to fight and verify repeatedly a payment made for 4 months back in February and April. I even called 2 weeks ago to try to verify my current status with payment and whether or not they recognized and acknowledged that payment for $160 in April. The gentleman was nice however had no idea what I was talking about. He called the manager and never called me back which is about the fourth time that has happened. I even had the manager talk to the bank manager to verify that the payment was made. During that 3 to 4 month. I was not allowed access to my unit whatsoever. Yet they want me to continue making payments while this matter was being reviewed. The review took literally forever and I still don't like I said no the results. I have left my debit card number yet nothing has come out. Now I receive a notice email that on August 2nd there was a move out date. I have no clue but I presumed they have sold and confiscated everything. I am disabled and have difficulty getting from point A to B yet had to repeatedly go down to talk to the manager who is very nice however nothing seemed to ever get resolved. I have spoken to several other staff and personnel that have answered the phone because the local U-Haul self-storage rarely answers themselves and normally I get someone else from another location. Please verify if you must. If my belongings have been sold and that unit has been seized and auctioned off I will definitely pursue what my legal options are regarding this matter. You are more than welcome to verify all of my many Communications. None of those are going to include the many times I had to physically go down to the office and try to talk to someone who could help. All they kept telling me was that the matter was under review by the home office and upon resolution they would let me know. I am disappointed to say the least. The lady that ran the local storage facility was very nice however that doesn't help me whatsoever in recovering the cost of what I had in storage if they indeed did auction off the contents of the unit. You had older, medium, and newer staff together. The older staff member was training a new hire, but kept being corrected on new things by the medium staff member, like multiple access cards and such. The old one knew his stuff and was friendly enough, the medium one knowledgeable and confident, and the newest one was funnily enough trying to keep it together between the back and forth. The part that struck me as exceptional was the older one was willing to learn! He wasn't "well that's not how I do things" about stuff. Trying to book online with phone would not work. Got all the way through with my info but would not process at the end and gave no errors as to why. Switched to my computer and it went through. I used the facility for a year and a half and never ran into a major problem. The staff was very helpful and primarily friendly. The computer software used is not very reliable and I did run into some issues. However this is not a reflection on the staff. They did everything within their power to circumvent the system issues. Calling the facility was frustrating at times. Staff wasn't available to answer calls. Renting a unit in the beginning was frustrating. I made three trips to the facility to rent a unit. Once I was able to secure a unit, it ran smoother.Robyn M. | Expérience générale

I didn't even get a chance to use the unit. I didn't even move my stuff in yet and you canceled me. I hadn't moved in yet and you send me a message that because I didn't have anything in my unit, you were canceling me. I called and left a message to please don't cancel, I will be placing items there....you canceled me anyway. Very poor organization. I would never recommend you. Now, I don't have aMetzger. I purchased the rental spot online on Saturday, when I got to the location the associate was super helpful with explaining how to access the building during business hours and outside of business hours. A lock wasn't in my room so he told me to swing back down if one wasn't there. He was friendly and I didn't feel like I was an inconvenience to the associate. So far great location and great customer service. It was also helpful having the carts available to bring stuff to my location. Nice job!Samantha V. | Online Move In
