Asked for a closer drop off center before I booked only to be told after the fact that there was no other choice that was given to me which was twenty minutes away and extra miles for gas.

The service lady was not friendly. I tried to use the U-Haul app, waiting for 15 minutes to upload snapshot, and was refused to manually help me out. Other customers in line complained about her as well.

This location is great for us. And our experience has been great every time we use them. They are flexible re pickup and drop off I had a few extra hours that were not a problem. I had a locker there a few years ago, when i needed one for a short period; same experience then. I highly recommend them.

I spent the time doing the expedited check in to save time and reserved a dolly at that time, arrived at 9:50 for my 10 am pickup, was told their was no Dolly's, seems they give out to anyone who asks despite the on line reservation .I would not have rented from here had I known this, I needed a dolly. The manager was quite dismissive of me, like this was somehow my fault? I didn't get into my vehicle until 10:25, after I did the paperwork which seemed like exact the same time as if I had not checked in on line, my agent said he would meet me at the vehicle, I waited outside for 10 minutes ten went back inside only to see him checking in another guest?, asked him where are the keys? oh here they are on a board behind him.

My reservation wasnt what I was promised on the phone. I also had booked two days which I was charged for but told I only had it for 1 day. I was asked if I could drop it off in Richmond then found out it cost me more then returning it back to original place. This is my second terrible experience with uhual In as many months.

The location was easy to locate and get to. However, the 24/7 automated process and the subsequent being put on hold for 30 minutes was a nightmare. After explaining during booking, I have to work late and cannot get to the location before it closes, I opted for the pick up via cell phone 24/7 option. How can the reservation expires before I had a chance to pick up the unit. It is ridiculous. That is the sole purpose to have this option so I can pick it up within my reservation time. It would be my problem if I don’t pick it up on time causing less time to move. But since I booked it for 24 hour period, I do not understand how my reservation could expire.

Customer service was unforgivable. As I was hooking up equipment to my truck I was told that my truck was not wired correctly. Which is had to prove to the U-Haul customer service that it was. She proceeded to tell me about the cleaning of the unit ( no problem) . But did not inform me that I had to check my unit when I was returning it after hours. She charged me $20 for something she did not explain to me very very unhappy. Did explained it to after I went in to collect my unit refund. I’ve been using U-Haul truck rentals for many many years. I’m almost tempted to go with a different company. Very unhappy customer.

I dealt with a total of 3 UHaul locations and too many to count phone calls and customer service reps. My experience was a nightmare. The worst part was when the auto transport fell off the truck. The conflicting quotes, need to rebook for various reasons, numerous calls and customer service reps...it was awful.

Mechanics should inspect and test drive trucks before renting to customers driving across country. The alignment was way out and front end/steering components were loose and clunking for our drive across Canada. Didn't feel very confident while driving.

The cost of the storage room included a light. The pull chain switch broke, reported to the staff, no repair was made. The light is essential and was part of the original service. NOT YOUR BEST !

A suggestion is to have a staff parking area, and a spot to store empty pallets and equipment. Not in front of lockers. Overall pleased with staff and facilities. Will be back if unit size available.
