I'm honestly surprised the trailer didn't fall apart and leave a trail of pieces and my belongings across the province. And for the price I probably could have bought a trailer and then sold it. Never using Uhual again

Erik LI received a message couple of days before pickup date that couple of dollys and packing pads were not available at the pickup location. Very disappointed at the beginning and more frustrated when I found my truck was not arrived yet and had to wait almost two hours. Truck was very unstable and trembled a lot while driving from Burnaby to Calgary in more than 14 hours even it was around 10~11 hours driving distance. Truck could not speed uphill(less than 40km/h) and shaked downhill or high speed. It seemed not maintained at all. They rent truck to new customer right after previous customer return it. I was almost dead and experienced worst truck in my life. I will never recommend renting truck from this place.

JOEL W.......Upon releasing the vehicle to the customer I think if the employee were to accompany the customer in person to the location the vehicle/equipment is located.........as opposed to just pointing out to where the vehicle is on the lot might be nice, also any previous damage sustained by the previous customer could be noted by the employee at that time. Just a thought. Besides that I found the people to be pleasant and welcoming to deal with. I always go to this location when I need to rent a vehicle as it's close to my residence.

KEVIN KWas generally satisfied with the outdoor rv storage… except that my unit was broken into once and stuff stolen…but because of lag time in discovery the camera evidence was lost and nothing happened. By and large it was a pleasure to deal with the staff and I would recommend this facility wholeheartedly. Thanks Christina and staff. Naz

DEXTOR RThe person before me who rented the car hauler trailer definitely had a vehicle with the oil pan leak so it wasn't completely clean, but they didn't give me an issue returning it for cleanliness so that's good, and didn't matter to me how clean it was. However, the right rear tire had only 30 psi and the other 3 tires did have 65 psi so once loading a vehicle on, i thought I had a flat tire. Halfway during the trip the right rear turn signal/brake light stopped working and on the 3rd day, the brakes on the trailer started grinding.

TRAVIS TWe reserved the u haul months in advance at a location that made sense. To simply get an email a couple of days before saying hey you now have to drop everything and drive an hour each way in traffic to get the truck was a bit blindsiding.
JENNA TThe vehicle has electrical issues. During the driver door opening, can feel weird electric shock at the door edge, happens all the time while opening the door after the complete stop.

DALE LPoor service. Padlock was not taken off the back of truck causing an extra trip back to the rental location and added stress of already being late. Very poor fleet management. Vehicle was very dirty from the outside and did not drive well; it clearly has transmission issues. Would not recommend.
TARJIT JTruck was smelly like sweat, dirty steering wheel and seats. The back of the truck needed to be swept out and the floor was full of black marks that rubbed off on my furniture. The truck was in need of service. The person at the location said they are serviced when something happens. We got it to my house to load and it was revving high. We had to wait 4 hours for a mechanic to come. The oil was low and he said it was in need of an oil change among other work that it needed. He asked is we had road side assistance and we may need it. This was not reassuring at all.

GURLAL DThe person, Mithou at the drop off location told me not to worry that there was a glitch happening with my contract number because I had to change my drop off location and it still had two drop off locations that would not let her close my file. She advised me that she contacted her supervisor and made her aware of the situation and that her supervisor advised her to contact a call center which she did and I was in their office for almost an hour waiting. Mithou and I agreed that I would drop off the trailer That was empty. And I took a bunch of pictures to prove it. And she still had to put more air in that tire that I had to spend every day of my trip filling up air and that was an extra week off my travels as they could not have a location that had the same tire to replace it. She told me that no charges would be made but today I found $861,2 pending transaction in my bank. And all she told me was to call back on Monday that it would be resolved on Monday. I had made a claim to have the fees waived from July 26th to August 2nd. No one contacted me back. She had no clue what I was referring to. You seriously need to have your people better trained and knowledgeable because they're giving wrong information. And I will at the full extent of the law ask for compensation if my funds pending are not cancelled by your organization on Monday, August 19th.

Kevin NWe booked a UHaul truck on 15 Jul 2024 with a pick-up location and drop-off location. I live in Surrey and we need to move from Vancouver Island to Surrey. A day before pick up, UHaul changed our pickup location which was way out of way but they ignored my request. 2 hours before pickup, UHaul changed pickup to 3rd location which was in another city, I protested but they won't listen. On top, they insisted me to drop off the truth at the location they wanted which I never booked and it's way too far to waste the gas and extra miles which they can charge. My point is UHaul scheduling Deptt has no courtesy to compensate the inconvenience to customers rather they bumped my pick-up location 3 times and bullied me to drop off at the location they wanted. Very bad experience.

Shivam TWindows and mirrors were messy . I drive highway trailer and trucks always clean the windows and mirrors before you start a trip. That's the main thing on a truck. You have to see behind you.

Volker LI put in more fuel than what I should have. I put in $20 more that what I should have. Upon returning, I told the person at this location that this is what has happened. She told me that we can't refund you the fuel amount. I said it clearly says in the contract that if fuel level is below the targeted level, U-Haul will charge me $2,18 per litre and service fee. It should work both ways, if I have fueled more then needed that I should be reimbursed. I'm still waiting for the manager to call me on this issue. I do not recommend this location. Very blunt customer service experience.

Left and looked online and there was a unit available. Called to inquire about it and was told it's available and to book online. Also asked staff about the free month storage....was told to call. And since I'm at it, my entire experience with U-Haul as a whole has been terrible.

Not a single time was I ever concerned about the safety of my belongings and that sense of security may well have been worth the cost. Thank you for just about a year's worth of storage.

But when someone is allowed to fill your vehicle with garbage without anyone knowing or seeing, I wouldn't say it was secure. But the manager was nice enough to let me use their garbage can to get rid of it so that was nice and very helpful. The rest of the complex is spotless. Just the vehicle area in back seems to get forgotten about but still gets charged the same amount regardless.

Only complaint I have is that there were continuing to be little mouse droppings inside the shed, and I understand how difficult it is to keep those little creatures in check… Otherwise everything was excellent.

I was moving from Richmond to South Surrey. I chose to except the FREE MONTH rent on the storage through the U-Haul app which is being encouraged by your company.The free month rent was authorized by the App .I was not contacted by the Delta location or notified by the App of any change to this offer. I rented another truck from Richmond U-Haul and arrived at the locker to be told they decided not to honor this.This would not have been my chosen location to store my belongings as it is a distance away from my home. The manager of the location has admitted that a mistake was made by not notifying me of the cancellation of the FREE month rent but has refused my email request to cancel the charge. I feel that this is false advertising and the fact that it was accepted and authorized by the App I am entitled to a refund.It has cost me more than if I had rented a locker closer to my home.

Just the light inside the storage unit was inoperative making it a bit difficult to see specially at night but not a big deal. I hope it get fixed soon so the next customer won't have any troubles. Other than that, a 5 star experience with a customer satisfaction orientated staff. Fortement recommandé!

Richard S | Premières impressionsThe security gates are open more than they are shut, and this isn't a recent development, it's happened for the entire time I had this storage unit. Everything I'm about to mention has happened on Uhaul property, *inside* the gates where things *should* be secure. I've met people wandering on the property who were clearly under the influence of some illicit substance and clearly not customers there. Many times I've seen drug paraphernalia (needles, pipes, butane cans etc.) dumped on the property. I stored a travel trailer there and the propane tanks were stolen. When I mentioned this to the employees, they shrugged and said Uhaul had no liability and that storing my trailer there was the same as storing it in a field. To all this I ask, "What was I paying for?" Gates that aren't secure, property stolen, dangerous people and drug materials on the property? If I could have, I would have moved much sooner.

Jason V | Expérience généraleI was advised by uhaul headquarters that I was eligible for a free month of storage utilize at my convenience within a year from June 2022. I received it in writing via an email and when I went to use it I was denied by your location despite having the email indicating so. Your location charged me in a very vulnerable situation and there was zero empathy or compassion from your agents. I have been using uhaul for over 25 years in different locations and the past 3 interactions have been an absolute deterrent to using uhaul ever again. The right thing to do was to honor the email from uhaul. Also your agents forced me to buy a round lock where that is not proper policy. As long as I had my own lock it shouldn't have mattered. The response from this location was it was for my own protection of the contents of the init which is not your decision and does not align with the policies of uhaul. And finally the sign on the outside of the store indicated 84,95 for a 5x5 and I was charged more because they did not take down the sign. That is false advertising. Overall I am very disappointed by the service of your uhaul location and staff.
