The trailer must be smaller than the largest trailers used to be. There are no adequate anchor points to tie down inside the trailer Why don't the trailers have hitch stands? In the case of a break down how would you remove a loaded trailer?

More mobile user friendly and more simpler. We had difficulty using the mobile pick up today. We were late and for some reason we can't use the mobile pick up. Step by step instruction should be emailed.

The security gates are open more than they are shut, and this isn't a recent development, it's happened for the entire time I had this storage unit. Everything I'm about to mention has happened on Uhaul property, *inside* the gates where things *should* be secure. I've met people wandering on the property who were clearly under the influence of some illicit substance and clearly not customers there. Many times I've seen drug paraphernalia (needles, pipes, butane cans etc.) dumped on the property. I stored a travel trailer there and the propane tanks were stolen. When I mentioned this to the employees, they shrugged and said Uhaul had no liability and that storing my trailer there was the same as storing it in a field. To all this I ask, "What was I paying for?" Gates that aren't secure, property stolen, dangerous people and drug materials on the property? If I could have, I would have moved much sooner.

Battery issue.. it was in poor condition. Was that guy at the front of the line on the BC ferry and the the truck would not start. I had a look at the battery terminals and sure enough there was all kinds of scoring on the terminals indicating it had been jumped many times before. MAINTAIN YOUR EQUIPMENT!

Can't ask for anything more. The girl opened right on time and was open on a Sunday. I was impressed on how fast I was able to be out of there with my trailer. Got a big car move done on short time thanks to the service I got from the U-Haul I went to.

Couldn't explain costs or estimate properly, windshield s dirty we stopped at gas station to clean ourselves, either no washer fluid or not working, gas pre trip was rated at full but only 7/8, I brought it back full, insurance online was $15, charged $30 at location.

The service and equipment were superb! I live in Tsawwassen so the location was not ideal for me but they didn't have the truck we needed in Tsawwassen. It would be great if your different locations could share vehicles so we didn't have to drive so far.

At time when I returned the truck, We were waiting for more than 5 minutes alone in the reception, nobody was there. For security reasons maybe you can leave all the time one person there. After that everything was ok.

Originally, booked a van closer to home (New Westminster). I opted for the 24/7 online pick up option, but because the renters from the previous day returned the vehicle at a later time, the vendor did not have the key ready in the key box and didn't have a choice but to either wait until the store opened or go to another site (North Delta). We had to re-route. Everything was pushed back and we were caught in the middle of rush hour. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least. Luckily, the service at the North Delta site was helpful and quick.

We had a terrible experience with Uhaul. We had a 3pm booking. I was staying home to continue cleaning the home we were moving out of while my boyfriend went to pick up the truck with a friend. They arrived. They waited. After 20 minutes - around 3:20pm - I got texts from my boyfriend letting me know that they did not have our van and apparently whomever had booked the vehicle prior to us was still using it. I was confused and concerned - and as this was a pick up location and NOT a uhaul depot, the kind people at the location of our booking did not have much information to help us. So, - I called into uhaul. I spoke with a customer service rep who told me that whomever had our reserved vehicle had extended their booking until NINE PM. This was SO upsetting to here - and more upsetting that I had find out by calling in on my own. We had recieved no alerts, phone calls, anything to let us know that our booking was essentially 'canceled' and our vehicle would not be available for pick up until 6 hours PASSED our originally booked time. I explained this was very stressful for us as we have a bunch of friends and family waiting at our new home for us to arrive and unload. It was the last Sunday before the end of the month - which means that the move HAD to be completed on Sunday as folks went back to work on Monday and the old unit needs to be cleared out by the 1st. The customer service rep said she could transfer us to a different location. I said yes. I asked for the location address so I could text it to my boyfriend to ensure he could drive out there. While waiting for his response, I asked her if it was the same truck model that we had originally booked for at this new location and she said no - again, I was frustrated that this information was not given upfront and again I had to ask to find out very IMPORTANT information for the logistics of our booking. Once my boyfriend confirmed we could complete our move with the truck model they were offering us at this new, second location, I confirmed with the customer service rep on the phone THREE TIMES that YES, we would like to be transferred. I confirmed the address at least 3 times because I could not hear her at first. I specifically asked her to forward the new reservation information to my boyfriend (whom the reso is under and his email is attached to the reso) so he wouldn't have issues when he arrived at the second location. She said she would. I was given a $50 'Reservation Guarantee Credit' after much asking about what could be done. I get a call about 20 minutes later - my boyfriend is at the new, second pick up location we are told we have been transferred too. They people at the front tell him they have no information about a new reso being transferred, and also, that the Cargo van it was supposed to be (as discussed with the customer service rep) was NOT AVAILABLE and currently BOOKED BY SOMEONE ELSE. So. Double Booked again. They only have a truck to offer us. Luckily, the other customers who had the4 Cargo Van were still there and my boyfriend BEGGED and BARGAINED for them to trade us their vehicle. I called in a second time to speak to a second customer service rep while my boyfriend was discussing with the other customers. He came to an agreement with them and picked up the originally discussed Cargo Van. So while I was on the phone explaining, the customer service rep told me that it looked like my boyfriend has picked up the Cargo Van and that all should be fine. I was quite angry at this - as it was not sympathetic to our experience and our time wasted this afternoon - along with money being spent on gas in our personal vehicle to drive to a new pick up location further away. He blew me off by saying he could see that the other rep had given me the $50 'reservation guarantee credit'. When dropping off the vehicle that night - after finally moving, with less people able to help us as we couldn't get a vehicle until around 4pm - we went to drop off and some other customer with a very large truck had parked taking up THREE SPACES..... We also noticed on our credit card that were charged TWICE for a pick up fee?!?!?! We didn't pick up from the first location because THERE WAS NO TRUCK FOR US...... So I believe we should only be charged ONCE - thank you...... can you please confirm a reversal of the first charge????? This email is to ask for an explanation on why the system allowed someone to extend a booking on top of our existing reservation, why there was no communication or notification regarding that, and to ask for an additional, second '$50 Reservation Guarantee Credit' - as we were double booked TWICE and so therefor our second reservation was NOT guaranteed. We would also like an apology. We had a horrible time and are not willing to recommend or use uhaul again.

The vehicle didn't have any garbage or debris, but all the cupholders and center console were sticky and visibly gross. Additionally, the clerk had told me the tank was at Full. It looked full when I entered the vehicle, no issue there. But when I went to fill it up at the end of the day and I checked the dash the line was well past where it was originally. As I have no photo proof I can't dispute this claim which is in the end likely a $20 conversation, however I'm disappointed at the attempt of money grabbing as this is not the first time I've experienced this at a U-Haul. The previous time however my husband noticed it and notified the clerk immediately before leaving the lot. It's still a preferable rental location for us though as we prefer the in person pick up and drop off.

Presently the area is under construction and even following gps I got lost three times both picking up vehicle and returning vehicle. It is not Uhaul's fault but getting a good diagram on email site would help during this massive road works project

I was advised by uhaul headquarters that I was eligible for a free month of storage utilize at my convenience within a year from June 2022. I received it in writing via an email and when I went to use it I was denied by your location despite having the email indicating so. Your location charged me in a very vulnerable situation and there was zero empathy or compassion from your agents. I have been using uhaul for over 25 years in different locations and the past 3 interactions have been an absolute deterrent to using uhaul ever again. The right thing to do was to honor the email from uhaul. Also your agents forced me to buy a round lock where that is not proper policy. As long as I had my own lock it shouldn't have mattered. The response from this location was it was for my own protection of the contents of the init which is not your decision and does not align with the policies of uhaul. And finally the sign on the outside of the store indicated 84,95 for a 5x5 and I was charged more because they did not take down the sign. That is false advertising. Overall I am very disappointed by the service of your uhaul location and staff.

Check truck for safety, had two bald front tires and terrible wiper blades. One hour into drive had to replace two front tires which caused a six hour delay! Very unsafe.

The Trailer I had reserved did not have a right brake light or signal. On discovering this they kindly gave me a different trailer to complete my moving needs! Very happy customer and appreciate the time staff gave to me to solve this dilemma. I will be coming back and will recommend this location! Thanks Uhaul

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! The negligence of the staff at 10158 Nordel Crt costs me the whole moving day. They forgot to check the truck before giving it to me. There was a previous customer put a lock on the rear trunk. So we drove all the way from Delta to Richmond to find out that we cannot use the truck. Then when I called them, they were super unresponsive, so incompetent in finding the solution. At first they asked me to drive all the way back to Delta to change the truck. But I said no because that costs me time . And then they put me on hold for 1 hour without saying anything . Then finally they get me a locksmith which took him another hour to reach me. So I wasted whole two hours, just standing under 30 degree weather, And then I couldn't pick up all of my furnitures as I late for my appointment . I had the whole day plan to move to ABBOTSFORD !! And if you check the record of my phone call with the Location, I received NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY from them . They just blamed other co-workers, which I could not careless. I need some compensation on this frustration and my time !!!

Very difficult access due to road construction. Not U-Haul's fault. This is temporary but it took a while to figure out how to get in, and I had to make several illegal turns. I was late for pickup as a result but the agent called me to confirm and held the rental until I got there. That was much appreciated.

Took 30 mins for self checkin, car was dirty as hell, no dolly provided inspite of paying. After dropping the vehicle got slammed a 275$ wrong drop off charge which was completely wrong as I had confirmed 4 times the drop will be in Topaz ave location where I dropped off. was slammed with another spot for extra kms. ps I was supposed to be getting 134kms, only drove 44kms and was charged 14$ for extra kms? The system needs serious fixing and also customer service.

The issue wasn't the location but the fact that it got switched from a much closer location (sw marine drive) to this one in Delta. When I found out that I couldn't return the truck SW marine drive I was very upset as after a full day of moving I had to drive an extra 40 minutes to return the truck even though I originally requested the original location. When I asked for help from customer service, they said there was nothing they could do. Therefore, I will not use u-haul in the future and won't recommend it to anyone. Forcing someone to drive further and do more work during their move day is not something I would recommend… If there is something you could do in regards to the service I received I would gladly listen.

I was redirected multiple times on the day of pickup for the truck to locations far from where the truck was needed. As a result, I was over 1 hour behind schedule while starting my move which required reservation of an elevator, which partially expired, and a ferry reservation, which I almost missed.

Customer service was rude and unhelpful. Truck was missing the furniture pads we had ordered, so our moving day got a lot more difficult due to this. Truck itself was clean, but it did not run very smoothly. Sputtered and hesitated a few times. Did not feel safe to drive.

The online check in process was terrible and the on-site attendant was very reluctant to help. It took over an hour to check out the vehicle when it should have taken only 15 minutes. I'm not recommending this location or renting from uhaul again in the future.

Nothing to improve. Location was easy to find and easy to navigate when picking up and dropping of the trailer I rented. Check in and out was easy quick and staff were very helpful. The UHAUL website is also easy to use and I look forward to renting again.

nothing can be perfect. I would say if the entering hour could be 24 hours would be great. and above my unit there is water dripping outside at the door.

If there is a waitlist system for the storage unit would be great. The online storage availability isn't accurate. The reserve system isn't a guarantee, it makes more sense if the reservation could hold certain period, otherwise it would be forfeited.

My only issue is around the ordering process I went online to order a room at cost of 179 monthly and when I got to the facility I was told it was bought by someone else and online which seemed frustrating to me. the only room available was the one for 199 monthly. . When I was online it did not tell me that I could lose my spot to someone else or that it was even an option for me to lock my spot so I’m not sure how that happened.

I am satisfied with the storage ,the only cone with the outside storages is moisture and with coming rain season that serious problem for some stored articles. Convenient location close to 91 connector and HWY 17 .They have also inside storages with climate control but too small for myself .You can store there RV ,boat ,car. Moving trucks for hire on side, a definitely an asset ,with all the packing supply including locks makes such a hassle as moving ,a great experience .Thank You!

The initial 'terms' I signed up for in the beginning- changed drastically over the years. The power to the locker was shut down in the evening. So no lights at night inside the unit. I had to pay for extended access, as the site hours were cut down. It was hard to access the locker often as there were so many Uhaul trucks blocking the access to the unit aisles. The power plugs outside were locked and there started to be a charge for that. I only very rarely needed to test an item and that was made difficult after hours. The rental costs increased at least every six months, and always an excuse that there were site improvements- none that I noticed. The drain over my unit leaked and dripped down in my door area. I had issues with my credit card due to hacking etc and the bank said regular charges would go through. But obviously not set up that way. So recently a charge didn't go through and the office knew it on that day and could have sent a courtesy email, but NO courtesy with Uhaul, instead wait until the 4 th day so that they could bill the extra $15.00. Then also seemed to start billing on the 28th, not the due date of the 29th. On sign out day, I asked the office girl to attend the locker to confirm it was clean and empty- several times, and she refused. She was rude and did not even thank me for my over 10 years of business. One of the workers was letting their friend park in one of the aisles one day. Of course right in front of my door. Hard to get the guy to move and the worker seeing the problem didn't even step up and ask him to move. I'm sure I can come up with more items. You asked for feedback- also I have given feedback in the past and it was met with deaf ears at the 'head office' level. Just forwarded back to the actual site, which was pointless as they were the ones unwilling to listen to any feed. Thanks to Uhaul for the many years of questionable service.

I rented a spot in the gravel parking area. I was amazed at how some, not all, just some of the clients used their space. These clients would maximize their space with multiple items, cars, junk. When the space is clearly for a one vehicle, rv, or boat. In my opinion there is enough demand for your parking space, you don't need to have clients that use, abuse every square footage or the liability to potentially damage vehicles beside those few abusers.

To be honest am not happy with the employees at this location most of the time when am going to recheck the unit that am renting staff and big uhaul truck is block my storage and we ask them to removed the truck they very rude to us the last time I when they drive the truck backing up so fast . Note : Not easy to access because this employees .

The service I received at UHaul was very slow and unprofessional. When I rented a truck about a week in advance I also rented a furniture dolly. On the day of pickup I was advised that the facility does not carry furniture dollies and offered a utility dolly instead. I felt frustrated by this as we never received any call to advise us of this and we were reliant on having a furniture dolly. We should not be able to select this on the website if that location does not carry it. As well, an additional padlock was put on my unit despite my lock being the same as those sold at the front desk. When I was preparing to move out the keys provided by the customer service agent were not correct and she had to go remove the lock herself. Overall, the service was far below par. I would actively discourage people from using Uhaul in the future.

I'd reserved a 5'x10' storage unit but could only get a 5'x5' on arrival. I understand the dynamics of the storage market but a heads up text or email would have been helpful. I still need a 5x10. Upgrade to the first available should be automatic. Staff were not able to speak to it. Your staff are very pleasant and customer focused. Management/owner should routinely listen to their ideas and input for improvement. This would make a difference!

I had checked with several other storage facilities before choosing U-Haul. All the others were as expensive or more costly. I did feel that your yearly increases in cost to client were excessive so I was happy that I decided to sell my trailer and get the storage cost Monkey off my back and that is where I plan to keep it!

Convenient location, clean unit and helpful manager. My unit did not have a lock but the manager answered my call and immediately brought me a lock which was super helpful. Would have appreciated a light bulb in the unit but not essential.

I left my car for over a year at the storage facility and was in excellent condition when I returned. On the day of my departure (Aug 6) I feel that the employees went above and beyond to assist me. Their flexibility and loyalty is a true asset to Uhaul. Very friendly staff.

Ontario Uhaul in St. Catharines on Vine St. told me it is not possible to get a vehicle with mud/snow tires. We nearly crashed with my truck on trailer behind us due to snow and ice.
