The car trailer that I rented was quite old and had 2 leaking hub oil seals! There were 3 trailers at this location however they said that was the one that I had to take ! Also marker lights were out on the trailer. The staff was pleasant and they tried to do something but were unable to!

This location is on a one way highway. Friendly customer service but would not allow me to park car there. Recommend I park at the business next to them. That is completely unacceptable for a number of reasons. Besides the fact that its on a one way highway and to make that loop is dangerous and takes about 20 minutes, im also paying a dollar a mile for an intown rental and should be able to leave my car there a few hours. Not to mention the fact i could be towed for illegally parking at another business. I will certainly never, ever use the Douglasville U Haul again.

3 and half hours to get a truck rental. Jennifer was good at trying to assist me but when she asked for help from a male co worker (don’t know first name but his last name was Kirkland) he ignored her. This took 3 hours of my move time away. The store manager Holly took care of me as well as a wonderful understanding woman in the customer service department. I had a smaller bad experience before with uhaul about 3 years ago with same location and was told customer service would contact me but never did. I never ask for anything bad in compensation for bad service or experiences but I refund or partial refund would keep me coming back to Uhaul. If there is anything to help improve service for the next customer or myself would be better training for employees and the IT department needs to fix there computers and there cars reader machines.

Service in the rental process was great! The really,really bad thing was the truck. Doors had difficulty closing, interior lights and dashboard lights did not work, the transmission was very rough, all of which made for a difficult day, especially in ATL traffic. Basic systems should work.

Check out and check back in was quick and easy. All the employees were very friendly and professional. No pressure to buy anything extra. Although I did not need boxes, tape, licks, straps or anything else they had a well stocked store for all those items. Even had a bun for free boxes if you needed some. This location also has a storage facility.

I will NOT recommend the Uhaul to ANYONE!! Look at my account and you will see why! I rented a truck on 6/1/2019 at around 9:18am and returned the truck before close of business on the SAME day!!! Truck was inspected, employee told us our receipt would be emailed to us and to have a great night. However on 6/3 Monday morning I recieved an alarming text about a reservation for 6/1-6/4. Immediately I called and was routed to the call center. They explained that the location does not have the truck marked as returned... this was even more alarming! I then checked my bank and found 2 extra holds on my account and I was livid! We had several failed attempts by myself and the people from the call center of not being able to reach the physical store I rented from. Finally I recieved an email that the truck was marked returned by someone on 6/3 so I went to check my bank. The funds had been refunded but I was very disappointed that no one contacted me to address this issue. Today 6/4 I check my account again and BOOM all 3 hold are back on my account!! I called and spoke with someone at your call center who was very confused herself with all the modifications made to my account. I was persistent in speaking to a manager. She tried explaining to me that I had authorized these charges and that the 2 extra hold are because they did not know the truck had been returned 2 days ago!! Wait excuse me... she referenced your pamphlet #17 under additional terms and conditions. However I followed my end of the contract in that I returned the equipment in my allotted time I was given, fuel was returned full and truck was returned in the same condition it was given to me in. I did authorize Uhaul to take my initial hold as well as go in to receive the extra money if I went over. However I did NOT give Uhaul permission to put a hold on 2 extra days for late fee!!! It is not my fault they did not do their job properly on their end. That store was in chaos when we picked the truck up as well as when we returned it. At the end of the call with your manager I said... so my only option is to sit back and wait up to 10 days for the hold to fall off of my account. Yet no one wants to address that UHAUL made the mistake?!? I am beyond furious!! At this point I would NEVER consider using this company again!!

The girl at the counter that helped us may have been a new employee. She really did not know what she was doing. The card reader did not work. You could tell the truck just came in from another rental. There were bugs all over the windshield. I had to wash it before we could leave on our trip. When time to pick up the truck in the yard no one came out to show us where it was parked. When someone finally came out they asked if we needed help. then he just pointed to where the truck was sitting instead of walking us to the truck. This may be a service that was not provided.

My only issue is that I waited in line for 15 minutes only to be told that I needed to go outside and have the trailer hooked up to my SUV and then come back in to check out. The staff was cordial and professional, but some signage describing the process would be very helpful.

My original Reservation: 20834293 was for pickup at 4375 Fulton Industrial Blvd SW Atlanta, GA 30336 When I get there they do not have a trailer for me and did not seem Very Concerned over the issue. I now had to find another location that would be able to accommodate me, 9416 Hwy 5 Douglasville, Ga which was a good bit out of my way. But the staff at this location were Extremely Nice and helpful.

I am completely disappointed that I have a complaint regarding a truck we were put in that had issues with the breaks. I called on Sunday 5/5 to speak with someone regarding my experience which was very stressful along with telling the representative on the phone to pull the truck before someone else got it. Customer Services has yet to return my call. I have rented from U-haul for years. I can not believe that it will be a week on Sunday with no response. My account has been charged $936.00 3 times from my checking account by Uhaul.Uhaul is in the process of returning my money back to my checkings account, but during the process they have charged my checkings account again for $503.00 plus $936.00. This company is not a trust worthy company when it comes to charging your account and owning up to there mistakes. The total amount that they have mistakenly taken from me is over $2000.00 by people that was clearly not trained or the company is doing something illegally.To everyone please make sure that you are following the amount of money in your checking accounts no matter how big and small you work hard for your money not for a company to take away that you have already paid for.

check your equipment before you leave. I failed to do so because I trusted they would give me working equipment. when I got home I discovered the Auto transport tow traps were ripped and inoperable, Tire was flat because It had a nail in it.

I told U-Haul it was one way to St. Simons but when I tried to drop off trailer they told me it an”in town” rental. No problem U-Haul took care of it but when my wife rented a trailer 2 days later the exact same thing happened. Contracted as “in town” but should have been on way. We moved 5.5 hrs away. No way in hell we asked for an in town rental. There is obviously a problem with the people working the desk at U-Haul but the customer is left with hours of phone calls and then we are told that “we” made the mistake and have to pay a $500 fee for dropping it off at our desired location. GM of Douglasville branch has been left messages with no return call, but I was told that the GM has been making notes on my contract because the same exact problem occurred 2 days prior with another trailer.

We have rented with U-Haul many times in the past. On this occasion while making reservations, we were offered “mobile check-in” for a faster experience at the pick up location. As part of the instructions, we were told our phone would be needed to pick up the truck. All of this led us to believe, we would be able to skip the line at the actual location and that our vehicle would be ready at our indicated time. We were encouraged to complete all personal info and to pay with a credit card online. So we did...fast forward to day of pick up. We were never asked for our phone and were told to wait in line to complete paperwork for our truck...WHAT?? The girl who checked us in didn’t even know what “mobile check-in was. While I agree that it saves time to have your paperwork complete, there was no reason for us to pay online and in all honesty, it did not save much time. Your “mobile check-in” is misleading and should be addressed. At the very least, there should be a separate line for those customers.

I prefer a drive up storage area so I am rating this location as a 3. Also they were not flexible with changing payment due date. I had to pay for a whole month even though I moved out on the 8th

-bad location off the street. -small locate compared to the amount of customers and u-haul equipment. -poor training on the types of hitches that can be used on my car. -The last time I rented a 10x12 u-haul trailer was not correct equipment and Information from the same place different rep. -the incorrect trail 10x12 that I rented from u-haul last time may have damaged my transmission. -computer issues that put 2 pending charges that it can access until the 16 April ($190.41 and $185.11). After requesting several times to fax over to my bank for release to end U-haul reps. Can't or want do it. - now I have almost $400 of pending charges due to error in u-haul computer system that I can't access.

U-Haul, move your equipment around! This place was so packed with trucks and trailers you could barely pull in there. Three trucks and two employees cars blocking the loading dock. Not the employees fault as they had nowhere else to park. An employee moved a truck so I could back up to the dock. Overall, the place was clean and the employees were great.

Photos provided 2 dispute or not didn't really show the dents or scratches or scrapes on the vehicle rented....last time I rented from u-haul (different state) someone walked around the truck with u....the guy that brought vehicle n had it running 4 us was the most helpful n answering our questions...vehicle rented on a clear day had dry mud on side mirror, cleaned it up at a gas station....guy that checked it n and gave me final bill did a great job as he had a lot of customers on lot and inside... so do that walk around with the consumer n at least clear the wind shield n side mirrors

We did not realize at pick up until we were driving that the cab of the u-haul truck smelled like dog and that there was tobacco spit in several places in the truck. We did not have time to go back to show the u-haul staff because we had movers coming to the house. First time this has happend in 5 rentals from this location. The staff was very nice.

Check your inventory to make sure the contract has the right vehicle typed on it. I was given the wrong truck. The number on the key didn’t match what was on my contract. The whole process was awful. Explain to the customer what the process is when the customer is extending the number of days they need the truck. I called and left a message for someone to call me. I never received a call back.

My rental experience at this location has been horrible. It took a long time just to pick up the cargo van. The van that was initially reserved for me apparently smelled like gas, so I was switched to another van which happened to be reserved for another customer. They ended up giving her another vehicle (she was not happy), but this process took 45 minutes. The charges on my final receipt do not add up, and I've been getting the run around for 2 days about this which is pissing me off. The rental charge does not add up AND I was charged an EZ fuel sales charge for no reason! The gallon was at 7/8 when I took the van and I brought it back on full (by accident). Why is it that they are quick to take money from your account but slow in resolving issues with charges? Now I have to come back up here again tomorrow since the manager and person who entered the charges are not available. I live 20 minutes away. I should not be inconvenienced for their mistake. I will never rent from this location again.

Vehicles need to be clean and well maintained. Going down I20 with a vehicle that's out of alignment, overdue for an oil change and that handles like a wagon is not an enjoyable experience nor a safe one. The cigarette ashes in the door was a welcome sign as soon as I stepped in. Also having to drive the vehicle back to the same location was an unwelcome and expensive burden because of the lack of "one way" vehicles.
