The stated fuel was understated. It was a needle width above 1/4 tank. They said it was 3/8. I returned at 3/8 due to the $5,5 gal uhaul charges. Uhaul got more fuel than they gave me. I feel a little played. But overall it was a good experience.Lynn G.

I didn't care to check because I didn't think I needed to. But thankfully, I took pictures of MI out and gas before I left uhaul. MI out of my invoice was 6073, but it was actually 6074. The gas was marked full when it wasn't when I left, but I still made sure it was full when I brought it in. I'm not able to go in to dispute this because Im so busy, and you can't get anyone on tbt phone either. The amount is off by a little, but that's not the point. It's the principle. Consumers need to trust the people they're doing business with, but there's so much dishonesty, and you just can't trust these businesses anymore, it's so disheartening.Genesis T.

The whole renting experience was horrible. I reserved at one location but when I got there the truck that I reserved was not there. Say there waited about 35 minutes just for them to tell me to go to another location. Get to the AZ Ave location where I waited in line for almost 30 minutes. Finally got the truck but it was after hours when it needed to be returned. I arrived at the location to return and sat there for another hour trying to return the truck because for some reason the app wouldn't let me input the mileage. Just an complete mess.YOLONDA W.

There was previous damage on the truck. I used the mobile app to check-in (Mobile check-in SUCKS!!!!) took the photos of the damage, odometer, fuel level and the filthy conditions of the truck. I received an message I had exceeded the number of photos to upload. It appears the majority of the photos did not actually upload. This made the check-in facility question if i caused the damage since the pickup location did not mark the damage and the photos did not upload to the horrible mobile check-in app. After some lengthy discussion what I assumed was the manager decided I was being truthful. I have rented from this location in the past and they have always been helpful.William M.

Customer service was great and very helpful. Truck felt good when I picked it up and loaded it. After we were on the highway we had issues with the truck, any thing over 50mph the steering had a shimmy and there is a bar on the back of the cab on the outside that rattled the whole 1955 miles trip that was louder then the radio at a decent level. Truck was clean but ramp was covered in dry clay when I pulled it open to use. I had to leave my storage unit go back home and hose it down and try to get as much off so I could even get up the ramp. Please make sure the ramp is also clean not just the box truck. I wasted 64 miles just to clean off the ramp to make it usable. Definitely not ok.Ashley M.

Reserved a truck and trailer online yesterday. When I showed up this morning they only had the truck. They said they had been trying to contact me about the trailer not being there, but I didn't have any calls, texts, or emails from about it. It was a long wait to be helped as well. I don't know if this is a problem with this specific location or the online quoting process in general, but the price at the counter was $37 more than the online quote I received the night prior, for exactly the same equipment and miles. Pretty hard to recommend this location with an experience this poor. At least the individuals working there were helpful and friendly!Curtis E.

I've used this location for random rentals, picking up new furniture, taking stuff to goodwill etc. a few weeks ago my apartment flooded. I had to move all of my belongings from one unit in our complex to another. My complex is also less than 1 mile from this location. I rented a van for 2-3 hours on back to back days. Both days were virtually identical.. 4-5 trips from one unit to the other and then back to uhaul. We're talking 5 miles max. One of the two rentals got messed up and i was charged $180 when i was quoted about $50. Turns out the van i used (AND CHECKED BACK IN TO AN EMPLOYEE) was driven 360+ miles. I was charged for the miles. Once i realized what the charge was for, i initiated a customer service call. After 1 1/2 hours i got a rep on the phone.. who disconnected after about 1 minute of me explaining the situation. No call back. Then I initiated an online chat. The rep from the chat was incredibly uninsightful, but provided me with a dispute number and told me that I should expect a call from a supervisor in 48-72 hours. 96 hours later and i have heard nothing. I drive to this location and ask for the manager. Manager, Brent, completely unapologetic about the issue- he continued to point at his screen and show me the miles accounted for â€œduring my rental.â€ I rented that van for 3 hours.. it's not possible to drive 350 miles in that amount of time. I'm pointing out some type of processing or system issue that i am evidence of, and Brent could not care less. He tells me he's going to contact his superiors and i should expect a call within 3 days (again) .. this review comes 24 hours after my interaction with Brent. Depending on the resolution I may update this review. In the meantime, Absolutely avoid this location at all costs, you may be charged quadruple for a rental and then treated like a liar when you try to get it fixed. Again, DO NOT, use this location. If i dont hear from Brent or his superiors within the 72 hours then I'm handing this over to my attorney- purely out of principle. I've lost more than $200 worth of my time.Joe S.

It's pretty dusty but it's AZ. I only worry about Pest getting in my Unit. As there was a Big rat trap in my unit. And there was no climate control option at this facility. Everyone was good except the girl that rented me the truck to move out. She wasn't very friend. Well rude. I was super nice to her and she wouldn't make conversation with me but she talked to her co workers and joked with them. I washed her for a big truck and she said she didn't have one. I found out the next day there were the big trucks. It seemed like she was trying to make my move harder than it needed to be. I had to take 5 trips in the little truck in 122 degree heat. When I arrived at the downtown Chandler office there was only an hour till close. The staff was outstanding. The assistant manager helped me back into a spot so my wife and I could unload. While unloading time was running out and instead of telling us to wrap things up we are closing the gentleman who check equipment in helped us unload. This type of service was great. -Need better lighting; area of my unit was pitch black. -Need to be better descriptive online; I didn't know that the units were actually are the back of the truck ,just laid on the ground. Having unit in a pitch black and the gate being left open due to non-operational is really creepy for me (woman) to be there by myself! So it really depends on the size unit Someone would need if I would recommend this facility and if they're lighting has not changed on if it's a woman that needed a unit at the facility! This location very nice! However my experience with u- haul has been absolutely awful!! Your call center numbers are use less my stuff was missing for a month with no one that could get in touch. I would not use the u boxes again because of the HORRIBLE customer service. I suggest getting more bodies at your actual location and get rid of the phone so called " customer service" people.
