The gentleman was very helpful in accommodating us when our other location had us scheduled to pick up at 8am and didn’t open until 11am. He made sure we were taken care of and was very friendly. Also the lady I spoke to through customer service was very sweet and apologetic. The price was amazing and made sure I was fully satisfied before I left. Definitely will go here again! 10000%

The steering on the truck (26 ft) was bad (slack in the middle), and the steering wheel was crooked. When I got in it to drive, the oil light was on. Two quarts had to be added right there in front of me. Part way through the trip I had to add another two quarts.There was no compensation for the slack in the steering wheel, or that the steering wheel was crooked. I drove it from AZ to WA, about 1500 miles, and the steering issues made it very difficult to keep the truck in its lane. This truck should never have been rented out in that condition. It made the trip stressful and dangerous. With my whole house loaded in it, it wasn't practical to switch trucks.

I was put in a very scary and dangerous situation, late at night assigned to a unit where there was no light on the entire row of units. A man was undressed and re-dressing in front of a unit u was told by personnel he was to had been out of. The whole vibe like a trafficking set up & even the one I changed to on Apache I witnessed at least 3 units being lived out of. I want to move my things to another storage near to where I live in Maricopa & plan to do so but just too much work to unload and reload, its inconvenient. I'm very concerned about it and mentioned it to some service workers in my family and friends who thought it all was pretty strange activity. The Uhaul personel I spoke to on the phone when the office who rented me the truck wouldn't answer got routed to her and she made me stay on the phone with her for safety when I told her what was happening and then I when i got back to the office i witness the personel there ignore her calls. They said it was the weekend of the impending Thanks Giving so the calls were routed but they sure picked up.other calls. I asked about the security screens quick changes so fast that it wasnt securing any customers safety. I'd I didnt have to pay for my stuff in there I'd still not want it there. The one now Apache is better but the kind young gentlemen changed my unit once again from the very back to one closer to the front. Women getting storage should not be placed waaaaay in back storage units, its not safe.

When my fiance and I arrived the first time , we went through the entire process and then they asked for an I'd, well I had forgotten this at home once I told the representative he left the counter, had us waiting for ten mins then had another man come and see explain to us they they couldn't help us with our one. We left to go retrieve this at 1230pm. We were back at 13:30pm this time we waited for 15 mins on line with no one else in front of us just for us to be serviced . When he finally arrived I was a dollar short from the amount needed I asked to do a split payment that was not allowed. Then I asked to do this entire payment in cash , of course the holding fee on the was 50 dollars more to do a cash deposit. Why wasn't I told before I left the first time the amount will change? So of course we left again by chance chase was open for another 20 mins. This was now 1445pm. Back for the 3rd time and it was already 15:00. We waited in line for 30 mins!!! No one was taking care of customers. As we were waiting for assistance. The respersentives kept walking thru the main office putting Money in the drawers like they were conducting buissnes out side. They did not acknowledge coustmors inside waiting. Finally we were being assisted , I was told to make a new reservation to this. So I did . The Chip reader on the machine was not working. The man asked to put it in manually . I agreed to do so . Then he told me my card was declined ; .then he asked to retry ; asked me for the zip code and all of a sudden it works? Nah he didn't answer the questions on the computer accordingly. Then I told them I did not want furniture pad or a dolly. He put this IN MY my truck anyways which took up space that I paid for. Also there was no lights in the back of the truck so I was moving in the dark and broke dishes. The entire dash dose no work I would like someone to contact and a refund. It took up my entire gas tank in my car to go back three times. I had the truck until 14:00pm today but when I was done at 22:30 Christmas Eve I took it back then. And I will be suing your company if I find out that man used my card since he had my card and put this in manually twice . This is unexpected service. REFUND REFUND REFUND. or I'll see you in court

Give those guys a raise! Larz and his partner helped me find an electric issue on my truck. They helped me install a receiver and I bought a new lock from them and Larz installed that as well. They were crawling on the ground under my truck without hesitation. Good guys. Your lucky to have them.

The staff were very nice and everything went perfect except...... I heard someone saying something on the walkie talkie thing that I am sure the employee who gave me my uhaul heard. Something about a smell and about a cat lady. The window was down when I got in the uhaul. Once i started driving and rolled it up, i realized the uhaul smelled like a cat peed all over or died in there. When I brought it back, Byron was very nice and gave me a $20 discount. He smelled the smell easily. He said it needed to be sent away to be detailed. I wouldn't recommend that location just because I really think I shouldn't of been given that uhaul. It gave me a bad sinus headache and my girlfriend couldnt ride in there because of her allergies and had to take her own vehicle which cost us extra for gas.

The location of drop off was an issue as U-haul changed to the intended drop off point due to its customer's needs! We as its customers would and did choose a close location for the turn in to save on gas but U-haul re-routed me an additional 15 miles away and did not want to reimburse for that extra mileage. I do not work for U-Haul and it is not your financial responsibility to turn in their equipment at alternate locations for their convenience due to staff limitations. U-haul did, however, authorize the Truck to be dropped off with 1/4 tank less than checked out.

My recommendation to prospective customers is to always use a full service U - haul center such as this one rather than a neighborhood location that rents trucks as a side gig. The agents know their equipment, the check - out and check - in process is efficient, and they have plenty of moving supplies if you need them. My truck rental experience today was fantastic!

Larz was extremely unprofessional at our pick up time. Saying if we had come up 10 minutes later we wouldnt have had a truck.. we were there at 10:55 and our pickup was 11? He made multiple complaints about other customers and customers in general that were just really off putting.

When I arrived there was a nicer man who did smile and seemed friendly but not my rep. I will use uhaul again but not that location.

Used self service. Had the following issues. 1. My location was moved, which was ok 2. I received 4 different calls due to it. Which was ok. 3. The WRONG truck key was left in the box. Which was ok 4. When trying to return truck on self service it didn't accept my mileage due to the mishap. Which was also ok. I still had 20 hrs of rental left so I left the truck in the facility without leaving the keys so I could handle the FACILITY'S mistake the next morning. 5 . This is the part that's not ok. The facility owner calls at 9 am YELLING at me. That I didn't leave the keys. I explained why. He asked when I would be at facility, I said shortly, he asked "as in 15 or 20 minute "? (as if I'm on his payroll). I show up and it takes them 20 minute to figure out their own system or human error. I sit . Not a single apology and more like attitude as if I had borrowed the truck from them when I paid for it. Terrible person skills! And horrid experience!!! Never again. Rather pay more than pay in humiliation.

Two employees stood by and watched as my husband got on the ground and unhitched the cars himself. While he was doing their job, my husband's cell phone was stolen. The employees denied seeing anything. A police report has been filed.

When I arrived they didn’t have my unit and now I’m paying for a larger unit I didn’t want and it was also an addictions 15 miles away. The location ended up locking us out and lying about having announced over the loud speaker when they hadn’t. Confirmed by several other renters who each confirmed. We ended up having to spend an additional 4 hours because we had to reload the truck to move out to the other end of the building and unload again!!! The young punk has nothing but attitude when confronted about the lack of communication

Broadway mesa Arizona 85210 The workers at that location was COMPLETELY respectful and helpful after telling the employee about the situation he personally showed us how to secure a chain on the hitch the correct way. I kept thinking how the guy at the pickup location did everything completely wrong.

I had time issues, due to work and some schedule conflicts. The check in staff at the counter were VERY helpful in making the process easier. Upon return, I was still dealing with schedule issues. The online check in/return was not working. I called the next day, and again, the staff resolved my issues quickly and easily. I will use AND recommend this location!!!
