We had a great experience moving from Maryland to Wyoming. We picked up and dropped off equipment on different days and every one was fantastic. Thank you U-Haul, you helped make a stressful evolution much less and affordable.

Give the right price quote. I was quoted 15 cents per mile when I reserved the truck for a Friday, we filled the truck with gas and washed it before returning it. We had it less than half a day. Then I was told the mileage charge was 99 cents a mile because Friday is considered a weekend day. Had I known that I would have reserved it for a weekday. We went a total of 36 miles. I was shocked when I was given the cost!! When I told the manager what I had been told, she did apologize for the misunderstanding. That sure didn't help the financial burden and she sure didn't try to make it right either.

Pretty pissed off upon trying to return the truck as your crappy app would not let me make an account, I just kept getting an error. Also I returned to find a text telling me to return the truck to a different location that where I got it. This pissed me off since I then had to call an uber and pay for a ride to the other location to get my vehicle. Shitty way to treat a customer if you ask me.

Overall, the experience was good, but the Driver who delivered the box to my house in Texas was not very customer service orientated. When I asked her to move the box, she told me I had to say please, in order to get her to move it. It would also be nice if the drivers in Texas who dropped off the box and picked it up, would knock on the door of the house so you can talk to the driver.

I will be completing a BBB complaint for U-Haul's marketing practices and false advertising. When I was selecting the number of containers, I was told that I would not pay for the containers I didn't use and was encouraged to order 6 containers for my one bedroom apartment and storage unit. When I originally ordered the 6 containers, and was quoted ~$665 per container for shipping, but was reassured I would NOT pay for shipping of containers I didn't use. When I packed 4 containers and they were picked up, the shipping charges jumped up to ~$981 per container making the difference from shipping 6 containers and 4 containers only $66. This is an abusive marketing practice wherein I was made to believe that I would be charged $665/container and by shipping 4 instead of six I would save nearly $1300 compared to shipping 6, however I saved a sad $66. I have called to get details of how this happened and received nothing. I will not use U-Haul services and will warn others about these practices in every mode I have available.

I reserved a 15' one way truck at the Bryan Stick location. When I arrived they said it wasn't available. No one called to tell me this. There was a man returning a 20' truck he just needed to unload the boxes. The CSRs asked me to come back in an hour. Instead of reserving that plate number in my open reservation they just told me to leave. The last thing I said was please don't give away my truck. I called 1,5 hours later to verify it was ready and he said yes. I arrived 10 minutes later and he said it had been booked online and there was nothing he could do bc there was no credit card on file. There WAS a CC on file in my open reservation but since he didn't record the truck coming in it became available for someone else to reserve. There is something he could have done. 1. He could have made the reservation while I stood there. 2. He could have called the person that made a reservation 5 minutes prior and let them know it was a mistake that the human STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM that made a reservation days ago was in line. Those people still had time to find another option. He called the 2nd street location and they had a 26' truck. So I got to waste hours of my day and pay $150 more to rent a truck I didn't need bc UHual is incompetent. I have rented two trucks and a trailer the last 3 weekends. Every single time was a disaster. The first truck they changed our pickup location to 5 hours away the day before. The trailer he told me not to remove it by myself and the location - though advertised as open was closed so I had to go to another location AND THEN I WAS CHARGE FOR DROPPING AT THE WRING PLACE. Do better. One mistake, fine. But uhaul is doing a really bad job at customer service as a whole. Repeatedly.

The communication and customer service was horrible from beginning to end. My containers were not ready on loading day. I ordered 3 none were ready, when they "fixed" the issue, only two were delivered. They messed up the invoices. At one point they weren't able to locate my containers while they were in storage. I had to receive a call back once they were identified. This was extremely stressful. Upon delivery they were dropped off at the warehouse earlier than expected, the scheduling center did not return my numerous phone calls asking what the drop off time at my home was scheduled for until 4pm the next day allowing me less than a hour to get ahold of my moving company to reschedule their appointment time and date. If my movers couldn't reschedule with the short notice UhAul said they couldn't deliver it for another two days. Each time I called I was told I would receive a call back as soon as the lady was done with the current customer, after two hours I called back, told the same thing again, after another two hours I called back again. No one called me, the third time I refused to take a call back and insisted that I stay on hold because it was now 4 o'clock and I needed to speak to someone. I then heard every excuse in the book as to why I hadn't received a call back. Fortunately the company I hired to unload my belongings was very helpful and professional, they informed me that they would look at their schedule immediately and call me back, they followed through on their word and called me back 5 minutes later. They were able to change the date and on short notice and arrived at my home on time. Something UhAul was not able to provide at all. I will not recommend UhAul Containers to anyone, matter of fact I will highly recommended they don't use them. What can you do to improve for the next customer you ask; revamp your entire operation, hire and train your staff, retain your employees, pay a livable wage, improve morale, hire enough staff for the workload, hire competent supervisors, and become a better company overall.

I rented a 15' truck for a daily move in town. Experience was great. The truck was a little rough. It felt like the transmission had issues and i probably would not have taken it out of town, but it did it's purpose for my move. I would use this store again.

I found myself in Casper, WY and a friend's vehicle broke down. A phone call to a rep named Ashley approved the tow and found me a dealer within minutes that had equipment. Within 2 hrs of placing the call I was loading the vehicle on a transport trailer thanks to UHaul. I am very pleased and appreciative Ashley saved my friend and I $ and time if we had been forced to leave the vehicle or hire a tow until we could repair it. Many Thanks to Ashley and UHaul. R. Best

Both times we walked in, the staff were in conversation and made us wait to address us and to stop their conversation to focus on our needs. Throughout the process, they would pick up the shop talk, look at each other and even pause helping us to answer their coworker. For better customer service, I would recommend a smile, stop the shop talk and focus on the customer throughout the whole time were there. Otherwise, we were in and out quickly and things ran smoothly with our rental.

Directions on how to get in AND out of the building with a vehicle we're not stated online or in-person. Although I rented my unit online I had to go into the office to get things clarified. After I had stored my stuff, I had to call to get instructions how to open the overhead door. The young man that came to help me was very courteous and helpful.

All was great until last couple days. Went in to check when my payment was due and some kid started asking a bunch of questions about my storage unit l have had a unit with you since you opened that facility He told me I couldn't get in without this new card I had been using a code He said I got an email explaining that you had stopped the codes for entering about a month ago. Well I never got an email of this type ( was not happy )I used this unit as a business storage and many times was after 7 pm but before the 10 pm cut off to stop on my way home to drop off product This was not the case this time so I was lucky. I am not sure but there have been at lest 5 different people as mangers since I started renting there anyway I went to call back to see if I left a month early if my money for April ( which was paid in Dec of 23 would be refunded. Waited in the phone for over 40 minutes and no one answered call the other store and did get a I think so but not sure. I went back total cleaned out unit went to front desk and ask if someone could come with me to make sure it was cleaned to there liking and he told me he had no one there to check it I went and took pictures to show him but I guess he found somebody and was cleared Overall it had been a great experience except the last couple days and the feeling from employees owell we really don't care how you feel

Have the employees understand how to charge. We were charged an outside cleaning fee on both rentals. We did drive from Alaska, so they were dirty and I did rinse them off. However the trailer was filthy when we picked it up. The person checking them in had to keep going inside for advice.

I loved everything except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day being locked up. I'd hid Santa presents in storage and couldn't get them. It just made for an adventure for Christmas.

The drop off location employees were very unprofessional not helpful at all they tried to tell me to leave and they were not gonna give me a receipt I was told at the pickup location because I was using a cash app card I would receive 100 dollars back but was told I only get 60 and they need better communication skills none of them knew anything it was very bad after a 30 hour drive to get horrible service

I was told that the truck I rented had been recently serviced. However, after a few gas fill ups, I was walking around the truck doing a quick inspection and noticed that the front tires were showing the steel core! I called roadside assistance and the waited 90 minutes for a service provider who ended up canceling without letting us know. 12 hours and a hotel stay later we finally got 2 new tires and back on the road. However, after only 375 miles to our destination, one of the brand new tires was already down to half tread. The ride was extremely bumpy and needed an alignment terribly (the service provider who changed the tires agreed). This entire situation not only added an entire day to our travels, but should never have occurred because we were told that the truck was recently serviced.

Dropped of truck and employees was to busy on a personal phone call to check in the truck told me I would receive an email. Waited 3 hrs never received a email so I called to make sure they checked in truck. Employee who answered phone would have to go see if truck is actually returned. I said I was there about 3 hrs ago. Was told he would check and get an email out right away. About 30 min later finally got an email. Again good thing I double check Uhual employees.

The new card system to check in and check out is a complete hassle the last thing I want to have to remember to do after moving a thousand miles is use a key card to log in and use a key card to log out while keeping track of keys gas mileage mileage on a truck and all of life's other stresses at the same time it just seems like an unnecessary and definitely unwanted addition to your systems which is up until now being satisfactory.

We loved this storage facility: climate controlled, clean, secure and accessible.

The online move-in process was easy and convenient, but when we got to the facility, there was still a green tag on the unit and no lock inside. I don't know if I skipped a step in the process, but I was expecting the unit to be open and a lock to be in the unit. We called the desk and was able to go inside and get the lock.

I don't understand why the U-Haul box was not allowed to be placed inside the U-Haul unload bay. They could only drop it on the side of the building. This is illogical since it was a U-Haul box to U-Haul storage transfer. If the box was allowed to be dropped inside the bay this would have made my storage transfer easier.

The garage opener only worked on the opposite side of building. Would have gave 5 stars if not for the door issue

Really clean storage. I would recommend that they fix the roll up doors . They almost never roll up when you get there and also there really should be some sort of warning for people trying to back into a roll up door so they know that unit is occupied and nobody else has damages to there cars by a uninsured driver , otherwise it's a great clean safe storage . I would rent here again

I would have liked to have a list of open units with a map so that I could pick the unit I wanted. I ended up with a unit in the very back of the building very far from all doors, which made moving in difficult. I was happy to discover carts to haul our stuff with because the unit was so far from the entrance. There were no instructions on how to check in and out and how to turn on security for the unit. No posting stating that checking out was turning on security, but signage stating that not turning on security would result in a lock out, leading to worry of being locked out of the unit due to no way to turn on security.
