U haul mobile pickup would not allow me to add my drivers license to the app for mobile pickup. Store was extremely helpful and courteous.The store attendant got me processed and out of there in less than 10 mins. Truck was clean and did an excellent job. Merci
Chris SBecause of the pickup disaster, we used the app, or tried to, to return the truck. The address that popped up on the app did not accept trucks. The person there called in you told us where to take it. We got gas took it there, parked it, put the keys in the box. The next day I got a call wanting to know when we were returning the truck. The truck was there , the keys in the box and you people promptly charged me for extra miles. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM YOU AGAIN!!!!! WHAT A MESS!!!! And this on an already stressful day. What is worse is you people won't do one thing about this review. You don not care about your customers, charging me extra when we went everywhere YOU told us to. It was an awful experience I would not want anyone I care about to go through. Nope, never recommending you, NOPE!!!
Donna AEverything was fine except they didn't have the u -haul in the original location. I had to go to a different location down the road. I didn't double check to make sure I had a doly or pads. I should have because nothing was in the truck that I had specifically requested.
Rana CMake certain that the contracts are correctly made I was called to return or was to return my equipment back at a certain time when I had 24 hours with the equipment and I was being told I needed to return it well I kept it for another day and so that was my problem with the contract I had a full day not 8 hours to return it back so I kept it for one more day and for keeping it for one more day I probably got overcharged maybe you can look into my contract to see if I was overcharged and refund me whatever needs to be refunded thank you

TONY VI got charged $450 for a rental that was to be $43 and I was told would receive a $50 credit due to all the problems. Worst experience ever. Ruined my move, my day, and charged me for mileage and gas that I disputed before even leaving the location and was assured I wouldn't be charged! Somebody needs to fix this!!!!
susan sI honestly cannot suggest any improvements. This location is A+ service. I've been to other locations that do not compare to this location. This location acknowledged me when I walked through the doors which was amazing.

GROVER WI reserved 2 storage units and upon moving into them was told they weren't available anymore. Terrible management at this location!!! Moving is stressful and finding out this location rented your units to someone else as you're moving in is ENTIRELY UNHELPFUL!!! I'll never rent at this location again. Luckily, I found competent Uhaul personal at different location that made up for it, thank you.

MIKE ASweep out the trailer. The sign says "avoid $15 charge by cleaning prior to returning". I chose to clean prior to loading so as not to soil my belongings.
Kevin BI called a local branch where I preferred renting - to keep my round-trip miles as low as possible. I was xferred to corporate reservations. Agent placed my rental with a location 3 miles further out of my way (6 total), and she failed to mention the arbitrary locatiob change. This caused both tardiness, hassle, and unneccessary added expense.PLEASE have your agents COMMUNICATE SUCH CHANGES BOTH VERBALLY AND IN LARGE FONT TEXT!

She didn't seem friendly and I thought she treated the male customer much more professionally. Just saying ....I didn't like the check out process with her and I felt uncomfortable.

I don't know if the lady who helped me during the close out process is a manager at the location but she went above and beyond with her excellent customer service since I had encountered a poor service prior to my closeout date. Because of her and the cleanliness of the facility I will continue to conduct business with Uhaul and recommend their services to others.

I would like to thank the staff, in particular Madison, for being friendly. No issues and we had to extend 4 days, so I was hoping we didn't need to bring the truck back, but instead, I was able to extend with no issues.
David CFront counter attendant had absolutely no customer service skills, was rude and literally handed me keys and walked out of the store. I had to wait for her to come back in to let me know everything was done. I had to come back in after that because the app was assigned to another truck and thankfully I think she was the manager fixed that. I wish I would have seen the other girls name tag. She should not be working with people AT ALL.
Philip LThe check in process wasn't perfect. There was no manager and the gals didn't know how to check me in from my reservation. They were both new and there wasn't adequate training it seemed. Other than that, it was just perfect.

Someone from a different site was called to come and take care of it... resulting in a 3-hour delivery delay. It happens! Not being critical. The staff kept me appraised of the situation. Just unfortunate that there are not more qualified at that site.

RAYMOND HWhat a mess. First, I rented a truck through Uhaul online. The day of the rental, the pick up location changed therefore, my pickup time was late. I got the truck and signed the estimate, completed the short move, gased up the truck and I safely returned the truck within 3,5 hours. The next day I got a call from Uhaul stating that I was 14 hours overdue to return the truck! Apparently someone had checked the truck in but didn't complete the process properly. The representative did apologize. Now tonight, it appears I have also been charged for those extra 14 hours as I was billed for twice the amount of what I should have been charged!!! I have asked that I get credited for the overcharge... we'll see how that goes.

Glenn SI spent the time and effort to complete all the online check-in requirements; however, NONE of it was present in the systems when I arrived. I had to enter all the information in again with the sales associate.

Lance SThe truck we rented reeked of cigarette smoke despite the sticker on the window saying no smoking. It was awful. There should be a fine for smoking in the vehicle like in a hotel room. The smell will never come out. Also we were told the tank was 3/4 full when in fact it only had just over a half a tank. Had we not taken a picture of the fuel gage we would have had no proof. The gentlemen that helped us was outstanding!!
Randy MThis was the second rental in less than a month. The process is horrible, both times I had issues getting my truck. The second time for this particular survey I arrived at the designated location only to find there were no trucks or equipment. I had to drive 15 min away to a second location to get my truck and still did not have all my equipment. Ended up having to use a furniture dolly because no appliance dolly was available like I had ordered.

Ed KMaybe Amber should be called Amber Heard, because she's so short staffed, perhaps her employees don't feel "heard." Also, train your few current employees on the forklift and you wouldn't have to be a martyr. One gets the impression that Amber sucks up to management, while kicking down toward employees and vendors. All smiles, yet no common sense or flexibility. One is left to wonder how a person can potentially open a new store for a corporation, without the interpersonal touch required to keep a staff interested or engaged. Imagine humoring somebody and waiting extra time for your visit to serve as a live training session, only to be nickle and dimed to cater to an ambitious manager's personal interests. There are nearby stores on Main st. people should consider instead. Drive that extra mile. U-Haul is excellent in general, but this store has issues. Merci

Cameil K | Expérience généraleWe started renting a space when the location opened. We've rarely encountered any really helpful or great employees. Most of the time, the staff has seemed bored or hard to find. We often have to wait at the counter for someone to come help us, which is odd because it's not like there have been trucks or other things to keep them busy. For storage, there are two sections. We've had a room in both. The new section is extremely inconvenient as there are no close ramps to the entrance to wheel up carts or dollies to move stuff. There are never any carts in that section, so anytime we wanted to move anything, we had to go to the older section to get a cart. Then it was hit or miss if the door was open because our code didn't work on that side. If it wasn't open, it was difficult to find staff around. This would cause a quick 5-10 min trip to last 30-45 minutes just waiting or looking for carts. Homeless has always been a problem, but the last year or so has been worse. Everytime I've gone there, there are numerous homeless people living out of their units. They especially like the rooms on the far end as I see them take turns going from the room to the empty field next to the location. Animals are frequently in and around the storage as well as they use they hog the carts so none are available. Lastly, the parking lot is a mess. It appears that there is some remodeling happening now and I hope that the parking lot is one of them. It's filled with pot holes uneven surfaces, so I hope that is something that will be addressed.

Plus having two different swiping kiosk on opposite sides of the door is just weird and confusing to most. Bathroom needs cleaned more often. Employees need more training in some areas. Other than that it is a good location and I would rent again. Need more trucks to rent too.

What I liked about this Uhaul is that the manager, Kris is on site and is monitoring the area. The employees appear to be helpful. There is an apparent issue with some individuals that try to hang out there ( possibly homeless) and Kris addressed it while I was moving my belongings out. There are video cameras in their office, so the employees can see what is happening inside the large facility. The manager, Kris appears to be working hard to keep the location clean and secure.

I thought I had reserved two 10x10 x10 and they were not available when I arrived. The man on sight, Lupe, did everything to help accommodate me and he finally worked it out. He was all alone with many customers all interrupting one another but Lupe did a great job in spite of them. Lupe deserves a raise and/or a promotion. The facility is clean and very comfortable in the AZ heat. I believe my possessions are safely stored. Merci.

Kris O | Online Move InI moved my items to a Uhaul the same day and learned their climate controlled environment really was a joke and the hall had ac, but the unit was not climate controlled and was an oven with the walls and ceiling being aluminum. There was not a functioning light. My intuition told me to look for another Uhaul and I was referred to your location from a Uhaul in Gilbert. The same day I moved my belongings into the first Uhaul off of Lindsey and Main, I drove to your location and met with Lupe. Lupe was certain that there were not any available units, but saw how desperate I was to get my personal property out of a baking oven and into a true climate controlled environment. Lupe and Chris walked the entire structure and found one available unit. The black trim on the bottom of the door was stripped and the silver hinges were slightly broken, but I did not sweat that because I knew my items would be in a better facility at your location. I appreciated Lupe and Chris going over and beyond and physically walking the entire Uhaul facility to help me. I moved my stuff from Uhaul poorly ran to a Uhaul well ran, all in the same day. Lupe is a hard worker. I requested a bigger unit when one opens up as I understand Uhaul is adding additional units. I hope my reservation for that unit remains. Thank you for the great service.

Kenneth B | Premières impressionsThe only complaint I have is the issue of the carts. For the last several weeks the carts keep disappearing. When I first reserved my units there were 6. On average there have been as little as 2 carts available when there should be 6 and this is when no one other than myself is at facility. Maybe put a tracker on the cart to find where carts have gone or stolen.

The only thing that I didn't like was when I signed up for the unit it would have been nice to give me the option to pay the extra money to be able to access it 24hrs, which it was never even known to me until after my move was already done.
jamie u | Expérience généraleThe worker was there 35 minutes before they were scheduled to open which was VERY helpful as I was ready to move in and I wouldn't have been able to yet if she wasn't there to help unlock the unit as well as the sliding doors, I didn't realize the unit was locked and started unloading my U-Haul truck and she was there just in time!

They proceeded to take all my info down they would need to email me my contract but then proceeded to let me move my stuff into my unit. A week later, When i came back to get into my unit it had a second lock on it and i couldn't get access to my unit. I went to the front office and they said i wasn't in their system. So i re signed up and they unlocked my unit. 3days after that i came back and my access card i was given to the facility didn't work. Which ment every time i opened my unit it set off an alarm. Then when i went to check out. I again was not in their system so i had to sign everything again just so sign out that same day.

Great rates, indoor (which is great with summer coming soon), self service carts (including one for mattresses, which is very nice). Facility extremely clean and great alarm system. Even if your storage is unlocked, once it unlatches it will set off alarm unless you swipe your key card at entrance. No contracts and 1st month free to boot. Everything very well thought out. Highly recommended for your storage needs!!

One are of improvement is that we saw several times people we assumed were "living" there using the bathrooms and leaving them unfit to anyone else to use. These people usually had bikes for transport and would leave with backpacks and then return later in the day.
