Communication skills would be the first thing and treating a customer like it means something and not lying to a customer with help from your company’s benefit Not the customers I experience overall was very bad it cost me money to rent from your company I was given a smaller truck and a trailer and told it would be the same size of the vehicle they were supposed to give me which was a 26 for her and gave me a 15 foot truck plus a trailer to equal the length but not height Enough in inside Now I’m paying for a storage for another month because I was not able to fill up the trailer and truck to remove my items the truck was smaller in size and with also the trailer and because of this it cost me more money I am very disappointed for the horrible experience I had with your company

I selected the option to check in on my phone. It worked up until the approval step. I eventually had to go inside which is what I was trying to avoid.

I picked up van on Tuesday (8/27/2019) morning about 9 AM....when I returned it on Wednesday (8/28/2019) it was about 1:45 PM...the place was locked up and I prefer to deal with a person than dropping the key into an orange box. Why was there no one available in the middle of the day?

This whole experience has been awful. Last three times. I reserved at Tomar Automative in Patchogue, and when I go to pick up, it's not there, and we were sent to the East Patchogue location. Took 2.5 extra hours. Then, I go to drop off at Tomar (which is where I reserved and NEEDED to drop off) and it won't let me through the app since the location is now east patchogue. Then I get charged an extra fee. It's crap. Not talking highly of U-Haul right now.

I am very upset with my experience yesterday using Uhaul. First off I was moving from Long Island NY to New Jersey. They told me I was not able to do a One way move, which would have saved me $100 easy. I thought Uhaul was known for picking up at one location and dropping it off at a totally different location. Then the employee helping me said he would help me out by not charging me for all 210 miles(round trip) but when the van was returned, I received a second charge, this one for the additional miles, so he completely lied to me. If you are going to offer a discount, then keep your word!! Don't say you will and then when I get home I get charged a second fee. Very unprofessional. Lastly I got emails from Uhaul talking about their $50 guarantee that I would be contacted the day before my scheduled pickup to confirm my reservation but I did not receive a call or email. When I told him that day of pickup, he did nothing about it.. Over all it was a horrible experience and I would never use Uhaul again. Paid over $300 to use a van for a few hours. Lies, Lies, Lies!!

If you sign up for a particular rig for a particular day, you damn well better have it when the customer arrives. If you don't have it, GO GET IT! And by all means do not let a young kid sign up your chain in such a way as it will drag the carmack

since there was much confusion to me i did not use the robinson ave haul i used the haul on route 101 patchogue yaphank rd it was very frustrating for me as i could nto use the app no one would answer the 1-800 number and if not for Aaron and Sylvia i dont know if the rental would have worked out. never again will i go with a phone app to so the review you are asking me for is not the haul i rented and the one i rented does not come up in the system.

Improve app so if you pass over step 6 you can still go back and retrieve code for 24/7 locker. Key was in locker but could not get code without manager coming back to U-haul

Everything with the location and the people working there was great. Courteous, clean, helpful and they really made me feel comfortable. One suggestion I have Is for the per mile rate is quite high. It made me afraid to get everything done I needed to. I feel that especially their should be deals if you go past a certain amount of miles or days. Awful experience when notified at 4:30 pm by bohemia ny location that the reservation i made several weeks prior of a 20 footer was not available for the next morning at 6:30 a.m. and their office was closing at 5 pm. I was leaving out of the area and had movers scheduled at 7:30 a.m. they offered me no viable options and had to sit on the phone for two hours during a going away dinner with my family attempting to get someone at uhaul to help me with this issue while all your offices were mainly closed. All due to extremely poor customer service, care for the inconvenience or terrible options to resolve the issue. Absolutely dislike bohemia office for doing this and overall U-Haul. I had to switch and rent at patchogue which was further but they were fine. U-Haul is awful and i will tell anyone that asks that

I didn't actually see this location so I can't rate it but I was accidentally overcharged when returning the vehicle. We were told we could return the vehicle at any uhaul location but apparently that is not the case. I called the location and they were quick to have the charge reversed on my credit card. For the first couple of years everything was good but last year and this year uhaul went down hill. Ask for certain locations and get somewhere a distance away.
