There was confusion when I called to arrange pick up of my boxes. I specifically said that I would be picking them up one at a time with a pick up truck but a reservation was made for me to have a 15' truck and pick up both at the same time. I got an email about the reservation and called to cancel it and reiterated that I was taking the boxes one at a time, yet the next day when we went to pick the first one up they were both on the same trailer so they had to be moved. This caused a delay in us being able to leave with the first box which was a problem since we only had our moving help for 90 minutes.

Had a reservation with Enterprise and they called me to cancel it 2 hours before the appointment. This UHaul location helped me out when I was in a bind! They had the exact vehicle I wanted in stock and it was in perfect condition. Check out and check in was a breeze, and employees here were courteous. Ten stars.

There were at least three associates working but it didn't seem like enough. The front desk was let unattended often while they went to work with customers. Phone would ting with no answer or other customers would walk in and not have an associate to help them. Very busy location but they handled my pick up well and helped in any way possible. Think I was double charged but working to address that.

I was checked in and out of the gillespie location in a matter of minutes with a trailer. Fast and efficient staff. The manager does an excellent job. I was impressed at how she does every job in there. She even went out and lifted the trailer off my truck. Impressive work ethic and it shows. The place is ran very well.

Truck I rented had damage to it before the pictures that were uploaded they was so far away damage wasn't noticeable and when I did inspection when I got home I took photos but packed the phone up for my move…I didn't cause any damage to the truck however I was made to feel as I did the employees were rude and not very helpful…I put insurance on the order as well they didn't look at that either they were going to try to charge me for damage I didn't cause…Will never go back

The only thing I can add does not pertain to the facility. I think it would be beneficial to all of your rental trucks had certain amenities. I think they need power windows and cruise control to maintain a specified speed for better gas usage.it would be nice to be able to adjust the mirrors via remote control.other than those specific items the rental was satisfactory.

$25 cleaning fee? That's ridiculous. I touched nothing but the steering wheel and moved a few boxes. I even wiped everything down and then I see a $25 cleaning fee. The total was $85. It would be cheaper to rent a truck almost anywhere else.

Need more employees and the way to accomplish this is paying a better wage to the employees you have. Otherwise this location will suffer In rating because a short staff increases longer wait time for the consumer.

I parked my car at U-Haul while loading a truck. After loading the rental truck all day, and having to rent an additional tow trailer I was unable to tow my car as planned. I was offered a rental unit because I was a one-way move. It was late when I arrived at the storage unit only to find my car didn't fit. I contacted U-Haul 1-800 as the office was closed. I asked to leave my vehicle parked in the parking lot. I was informed this is not allowed. This was a total fiasco, trying to locate a place for my vehicle at night. At no time was I told that the unit would not fit a vehicle even when I stated that's what I would be placing in the unit for approximately a week. This delayed my leave as I searched a place for my vehicle. This required me to park my vehicle in a sketchy area on the street with flashers on as it would have been locked in the parking lot at 10:00pm when the gates closed. I located a place to park the truck and then returned for the car. At no time was I informed they DO NOT secure vehicles at this site. This DELAYED my departure requiring a hotel stay, only to wake in the morning to a flat tire. I returned to the same U-Haul to have the flat repaired further delaying my trip. I requested compensation and received a 63 mile credit! I was not given additional time, or credit for my inconvenience. I will be discussing this further with U-Haul.

reserved my truck a month earlier. showed up and was told they cancelled it 2 days earlier, no notice. said I'd have to get a vehicle in a town 40 miles away. store staff indifferent, unhelpful and rude. have had similar problems at this location in the past. can't believe you haven't cleaned house yet.

I scheduled the installation online. I received a confirmation for the installation for July 26th. When we arrived, the clerk stated it was scheduled for the 27th. We had to return the next day to have the work completed. We did not receive a call about the change. Other than that, the installation went well.

Reserved a pick up truck and the battery was dead when I went to pick it up, why even let someone reserve a truck if it's dead. Shows they can't even do checks on the vehicles to make sure they're good for people to drive. There should also be a notice on the website and in store that pick ups and vans have to be returned to the exact same location,an extra 4 hours of driving because nowhere specified that the van I got instead of my truck, had to returned to the exact same store and could not be dropped off with a different uhaul location. This uhaul store single handedly turned an easy day into an absolute nightmare

The truck didn't have my dolly which they charged me for and when I called them about it I was on hold for 45 minutes and got hung up on and I called back and was told that it was not in the truck because they didn't have. Bad experience. It was the Handi House U-Haul Place

I had to use the U-Haul roadside assistance. Once I called the number, it was very easy, fast, and efficient. I was unaware of this service until I saw on the trailer the information and number on a sticker. My only comment would be to cover that at the time of rental, because it is such a good service.

Fix the app. You start on a process in the app click out the app and it goes back to main page. Had to go in the inside to get code to unlock the lock on truck. Also, the lock was difficult to remove after putting in code.

Extremely expensive for only 5 hours of use. The mileage charges are extremely high. Paid $232 for a 10' truck for just 5 hours. The process to rent a truck is cumbersome, degrading, and way too long. The agent at check in said she would remove the dozen furniture pads from the bill since we did not use them and never unpacked them. They are still on the receipt. Just spoke to another agent (08:50 AM, July 5, 2023) who could barely speak clearly enough to understand. He told me some story about green bags and furniture pads in the back of the truck and wanted me to describe the agent who told me I would get credit back because "we have new people working here" to say that I was told incorrectly. But if there had been furniture pads in a green bag in the back of the truck and they were not unsealed I would be credited back. What kind of crazy set up is that? You have to do better. Your folks lied to me about the reimbursement for the furniture pads. You failed to honor your word, which seems par for the course with service these days. Too bad Uhaul can't be better. I'll buy my own truck before renting from Uhaul again.

It isn't the truck but the propane refill. I was told I would have to wait over 30 minutes, because the person who is responsible for refill propane was cutting locks. Meanwhile, another worker was outside talking to someone who wasn't a customer. It should be all on video. It around 1:45p July 3rd

Staff was friendly, facility itself decently maintained. But to be charged what I was being charged an then told at time of clean out I would have to pay additional fees to use the onsite dumpster seemed a bit much. 2 small empty boxes an wanted me to pay over 8 to unlock the dumpster..an then check my email to be told my rent would be goin up again in July. Which is what ultimately led to us clearing out

This is for the Facility in Fayetteville NCI picked up a truck at Gordon Hwy in Augusta Ga the truck was dirty had mud and dirt in the back had to clean it before I could load my furniture inside. This should be addressed thanks

TO: Whom This Concerns, Unit Location: Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC Please note that I reserved a 10X10 unit (#156) on 13 Jan 2023. When I arrived at this storage facility on 28 Jan 2023. I was told that the unit (#156) that I reserved had been leased to another customer. Unacceptable! No good reason was given for this mistake. I was forced to lease a larger storage unit (10X15) at a higher cost. I intentionally visited this office the week prior on a trip to Fayetteville to ensure the unit was active an assigned to me. It was assigned to me on my this visit. When return with all my furniture from Florida. This unit was no longer reserved and was assigned to another customer. Richard

I used to like the place. Have had my camper there for at least 5 years. But with the last breakin of several campers I don't feel my camper is in a secure spot. No one took the time to call and inform me so I could come check out my camper. Just can't trust them now.

Associate at facility was not help very sarcastic. Her co worker was helpful which her name appears on my contract. When I arrived at my storage unit alarms went off as if I didn't pay for the unit. I was granted access with my key car and once I got to my assigned unit the alarm to the facility went off. Not a good experience at all

Stored my RV at UHaul thinking it would be secure only for the whole RV lot to be broken into everybody’s spare tires were stolen and campers were damaged on the inside as well as there doors and locks The main issue with UHaul is the RV lot is not covered by there insurance which was never mentioned think twice before storing anything at UHaul

Only covered storage unit in the area for RV's. 6 months ago they cut off the catalytic converter on our RV. This week they broke into our RV along with SEVERAL others damaging the doors and stealing just about anything from spare tires to license plates. This facility has terrible security measures in place.

We'd just arrived into town from a drive from Arkansas to North Carolina. We'd utilized your Sanford,NC location for two units whose service was AMAZING! Got to last of our unpack and it was after hours and had to return the truck in Fayetteville, NC location so we needed a smaller unit to finish up. We were tired to say the least. The young lady was very nonchalant, didn't explain much, pointed to the building of the unit, and was just very matter of fact asking for the payment for the lock. Versus the other location that escorted us to both units, showed us how to use the keypads to swipe, took great care to get us units as close as possible together, they were extremely accommodating, my reservation wouldn't pull up and they still took care of Us. I usually don't do a bad review. I don't even expect to be overwhelm by customer service attention. But at the least greet your customers, facilitate their needs, explain your policies or best practices to the consumer and not make them feel like their presence in an aggrevation. And when asked a question? "Ion't know" is an unprofessional response. If you don't want to work in the public don't get a job servicing the public. Because without the consumer choosing your establishment there'd be no need for the CSR. Many companies are going digital to kiosk usage. To be employed is a privilege. But thank you U-Haul for the truck the got us moved all the way from Arkansas to NC safely.

My door was broke and staff was made aware but was told nobody knew how to fix it or lift it, but I lifted it myself and proped it open with a ironing board. This is only positive because of the two gentlemen that helped me Thanks Guys not all heros wear capes. I appreciate yall!

Thank you I did not feel I was being ripped off here like storage king just down the road. I rented with that company in Raleigh, NC ( they bought out the company then jacked prices up so high. Most moved out) uhal has remained constant and respectful to all our moving needs.

The only part that worked as it should was the refunding of the unit after I went to another storage place. The reservations where made a week in advance- however they got messed up. Truck wasnt booked for Friday as requested rather saturday… which requested in several calls To get things corrected and ended up getting a 26 foot truck instead of the 20 requested which for the record horrible gas milage…unit was supposed to be reserved for Saturday but i stead was charge and "moved into" immediately. I pulled things together but overall horrible experience. The cashier and manger where very pleasant when refunding the unit- but considering the circumstances some monetary adjustments would have been appropriate as the reservations for the entire move had been made there and everything was wrong. Also when requesting a call about the "move in" issue a call was requested and never received a call from this location.

Clean, professional staff, easy move in with carts available to assist us. Staff answered all questions. Highly recommend! Most units looked occupied in our section so it seems to be a great option and I feel luck to have got a space.

They charged me a late fee when i was one day late with no notification but when I closed my account I had 4 days left with the month of june, did did not give me a refund. Why. Days left 27,28, 29 & 30. I tried talking to no availe.

I paid money thinking my RV was secure because of the high fence surrounding the lot, the security cameras, and access only by key fob. Imagine my shock when I cranked up my RV and it sounded like a jet plane reviving its engines. Yes, my catalytic converter had been stolen. When I went to the office, no one seemed to know anything, including if this had happened to other customers, if the security cameras were reviewed and monitored, or if a security person ever checked the lot. My $1500 theft was met with blank stares and indifference. As I was standing there, I observed the camera monitor appeared scrambled - my first clue that security was a low priority. Then I walked to the back fence. It is heavily overgrown, making it easy for someone to enter and exit completely obscured from the cameras. The final nail in the coffin was the actual service technician who stated that "8 to 10 catalytic converters have been stolen from that very lot in the last several months." One guy had his RV repaired, returned it to the lot, and two weeks later was hit again. Really? And there has been no change in security protocols? Surely even a company in business to make a profit cannot find this an acceptable business model. A night watchman would not be out of the question. I have to wonder how many RVs sitting there don't even know yet that they have been vandalized. As for me, I'll take my chances with my RV sitting under a tree in my yard.

Issue came when moving out. I rented a truck from this location so I can load my unit and go. Drove from the apartment to the uhaul store to be told they moved my reservation to another location. Makes no scense I had to pay by the mile and had to go elsewhere for my truck. That not being the worst, when I drove to the new location the stated no trucks were available. Really waisting more time because of someone's inabilities. Than had to call the first place to yet again be sent further away to another uhaul which now put more time and miles on my car just to have to drive a uhaul back to my original spot 5 miles from my house and ad cost to my rental This added at minimum and extra 60 miles to my total as the original location was five miles from my house and the new once was around 17 Long story short waisted half and day and 100 between gas miles and personal cars gas getting the run around When discussing this to the location I got the oh well attitude. So no I won't use nor recommend uhaul when there are other options!

It's been since 12/24 and I've still yet to be a able to pick up my rental truck or get to my storage unit!!!! I and my friend stayed bk n forth at uhaul dealer location for 36 hrs + off n on trying to get online check in process final so I can get my kids xmas gifts and my belongings bk to my family in whiteville NC and so thnx to poor communication I missed Xmas with my 5 year old grandchild n family..I pd $216 .00 for a truck that's still sitting at Larry's in williamnston NEVER able to access the vehicle online process...I want my money back or my truck delivered to me or I'll be contacting my lawyer tomorrow morning
