Provide total costs from door to door. I was informed, at my new house, that I owed $63 more dollars to bring the U-box to my new house. What? I thought I had paid for the entire process earlier.

I'm sure all the customers were calling in about the delays and it would have saved time and aggravation if a simple text or email about the new estimated time was sent. Everything else about the experience was wonderful.

They don't go out to the units and look at it but the moment that you're late, they can drive out there and slap a lock on it. Find Awkward plus Found mice or rats chewing at stuff lights didn't work in unit and found many times screws and nails in driving path but overall ok place

Susan GI usually don't have an issue but the truck I was given first had accident damage on the rear bumper and a TPS light. The truck they gave me to replace it we found out later that night has a roach infestation.
JESSICA AI had a 26 ft truck reserved for Saturday the 22nd of March. They called me less then 1 hr to tell me it would be available so we had to go with a smaller truck. But we made it ok but something needs to be done about this.

ROSE BRat and roach infested. As the unit was emptied 3 New York cat sized rats jumped out!!!!! Holes had been eaten into card board boxes. Rat turds everywhere. Will never again use U-Haul storage!!!

The location in vero beach gives false informatio, for my reservation the vehicle was not available as stated on my phone call. The tire light was on so there was maybe a bad tire while I used this vehicle not safe.

ANTONIA CI reserved my rental online and upon arrival my truck was not ready for me and not available. I was told that I do not have that size truck that I reserved and the one on site would be given to someone the next day instead of to me who was there to pick up this rental truck 15' truck. I was then given a 26' truck and this was a inconvenient on gas and in other ways. I proceeded to attempt to move and drop off my garbage at a local facilities that do not charge for garbage drop off when I got there with my garbage they said this size truck they do not accept that it's too big, he directed me to the paying facility to drop my items off at. I paid $100 to drop off GARBAGE when it should of been free and this whole rental was not pleasing at all. Truck not there but a truck is there.....extra $100 to spend while moving not okay at all. I need to speak to a manager asap

MARK HThe trailer unhook itself as I made the first right turn from the Ft. Pierce location. For at least 20 minutes in 5pm traffic and then to my home after dark I had no lights. I called and informed the 800GOUHAUL. I was told an ETA of arriving by 811 pm on roadside assistance to get a call back at 930 from Britney stating Roadside was still 30 minutes out. These minor issues caused major setbacks in my departure. Brand new equipment was damaged my safety and the safety of others was put in danger. I get to the drop location to learn that a 6 part could have avoided the hassle and stress. Then someone charged me about $22 for no reason. The trailer wasn't due until 430pm Tuesday explaining the issues I had the check in never took place and I was called and charged for no reason. So not only did Uhaul put my life in danger, they charged me for almost $22 for nothing, damaged a brand new part and no one as called about correcting any of this like they stated. .

LANCE CThis was the dirtiest vehicle I have ever been given. Mileage was off by 1 mile. I took pictures but the error in starting miles was not updated. It's only one mile but still. Other than that; I'll be back folks are friendly. Process is very fast.

When I purchased my storage it was moisture inside but I rented it anyways. It was dust falling from the bad rusted storage doors. My biggest problem at UHAUL in fort pierce on US1 Hwy was in 6 months the black mold attacked all my high end furniture and clothing. The day of my move out I sat my very nice table chairs outside my storage door thinking that I could run to the office and inform the manager of my damage goods and etc well guess what???… the 2 Spanish lady's working for UHAUL stole my chairs of I had to fail a police report. The manager came to my unit to see how the mold had damage everything. I hope this is helpful just shop around before renting with UHAUL. Old dirty ran down place.

They just shrug. No other storage facility I have ever rented from. Should be addressed!

This was the fourth flat tire over the years that I've used this storage unit from the nails and screws inside the storage unit gate access. Four flat tires!! I called and complained crying because I didn't have any way to fix my flat tire and I didn't have a spare and I was told that the management from the location in fort Pierce would call me the next day to discuss my issue and they would let them know to clean up the nails and screws also. I walked from my unit which was almost to the end but not quite in a straight line to the fence and picked up 43 nails and screws. It was night time so I couldn't even see probably half of them. Management never called me the next day nor any day after that. It's been well over a week now. I took a picture of all the nails and screws so I could prove what I was saying and I had to get my tire replaced eventually when I could which was also over a week and I had three other nails and screws in my tires. I heard my tires pop when the nails penetrated every time. I know for a fact that it came from the storage facilities drive area to the unit. It is absolutely ridiculous that I've gotten four flat tires and the management would not even call me back but then they asked me for a review so this is the review you're getting. I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone. They do nothing to prevent issues like this and my tires are over $200 a piece. That's almost $1 000 after installation and balancing of four new tires! Absolutely ridiculous. I'm considering taking them to small claims to get my money back for my four tires. I have all of my receipts and everything so I am seriously considering it. I cannot afford this as I am a student and I don't have permanent employment at this time. I used to swear by this storage facility but I will never use them again because of their disregard for their customers welfare.

KELLY G | Expérience généraleThey park uhaul trucks cross from the units sided with the wall where I personally have a hard time loading and unloading my 16 foot truck box without blocking the road and I have to move it everytime to let other tenants pass through When I asked once uhaul representative who was moving one of those trucks to pull back the 26 foot truck back a little so I can load without causing any issues for entering the incoming tenants he told me he doesn’t have the keys and can’t get the key I left the facility for the inconvineve and the lack of customer service at uhaul representatives at this location
Skander B | Expérience généraleIrmalys Fernandez is an excellent communicator when everything seemed to be miscommunicated while making reservations via many phone calls to reserve a storage unit their was and may have been a lack of knowledge in my part as to different products for my moving needs I had one gentleman ask me for a credit card number via phone on February 8 ..to have a credit card on file he said. It wasn't clear all along the type of storage unit I needed I think they were trying to promote their shipping containers promotion and I believe I didn't know the difference while on the intial calls..when I went to this location I went through 3 associates until she stepped in and handled it well ... The other young men were not as knowledgeable to troubleshoot with my confusion has to product had been reserved and it wasn't their fault someone and others who I been in contact with via phone to reserve my spot I think that's where the confusion began..so when I went physically to the site mention above the reservations wasn't available because ... my apology to the 2 young men who tried and had nothing to do with the miscommunication from the get go..

Instead of just letting me cut my OWN lock off, they made me hire a locksmith. So I can pay the bill to the storage but I can't take my own lock off. Ok. And then to top it off they have ROACHES!!!

We have been customers over a year and found the compatition was offering the same unit $65 less per month (regular rate not a special) we asked if UHaul would price match and were advised Uhaul will not. We also stated we will be long term customers and still no cares given. We proceed to move out same day. When I closed my unit 6 days after the auto payment I was told no refund. Steps in and out of the building are not safe and can be slippery. Parking is limited and staff polite but not friendly at all. It may not be a big deal to loose our $172 a month but I will be spreading the word about our new unit that worked out to be $90 less no special rate and right down the street.

Susan P | Expérience généraleThe 10x20 unit (auto pay) and the staff were ok, but not really helpful. I would say the people and helpfulness was less than expected. My wife is 77 and I'm 80. This was a big move for us to clear out. I needed some help. Because I haven't been in FP for 15 years, I'm not familiar with services in area. -So, I asked if they could recommend or suggest an honest locksmith (answer No). I ended up with a locksmith charging $200+ for 15 minutes. -I needed help and one of the workers wanted to help after his work hours….manager said no, but offered no options or help. When about 90 % cleared out, I asked if I could pay for help to finish (we were exhausted), manager said $300. Too much for my fixed income so after resting we finished in 0ne hour. -overall the manager was not rude but very unfriendly. Being older, we could have used a little more TLC and solution suggestions (I.e. locksmith, labor). Or at least a more empathetic attitude.

Our containers had been chewed into and we threw out several boxes of our belongings due to the damage. We then bought several other containers Nd removed what we could salvage. When I brought this situation up to the person at the desk he just said "I see." Absolutely no help, no care or reimbursement.I was under the understanding that pest control was maintained at your facility. I will absolutely not recommend these units to anyone.

Still didn't work. Called the offices they said it was because we were trying to enter the wrong building. Building are not clearly labeled for the inside units. Finally enter the correct building only to find that the unit assigned to us has a person lock and a red tag. So we call the office again and Leslie comes to us checks and verifies it must have been a glitch in the system. She tells us to come up to the office and will get a new unit. Leslie looks and doesn't have a unit the size we requested so she moved us to a bigger unit forcing us to pay the higher rent payment due to their mistakes. She assigned us another unit we go back and guess what it also has a personal lock on it. We scan the lot and find a few units that are open and we go back to the offices and tell them it's also locked but here are a few that are empty. We get assigned one of the ones that are empty and go to the unit and unload our stuff. After nearly 5 hours on the lot, 3 units, doing uhauls job, we were finally moved in to our unit.

He said that if I gave him a minute do what he was doing that he would clean it out. I told him not to worry about it cause I was not going to stay for that. Then I showed him the picture of the end of the hallways. Three units down. He said yeah that happens some of our customers do that. I said there's food there. I mean I'm worried about bugs. And he just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said that Mays will be there tomorrow and I'll clean it up. It appears it's a specific spot where they allow renters to leave stuff they don't want. Cause I've rented a lot of storage units, and this was truly the dirtiest place I've ever tried to rent at. And all night long I have thought about possibly going back and telling them I'm not taking the unit because of those two situations. I know they can clean up my unit. But it looks like that'll be a constant source of disgustingness if they allow people to do this on a regular. I would really appreciate a call back 561-634-6392.

Storage area was not in the actual office area. This made it difficult to find the storage. There are no signs outside to which door has access to which letter regarding climate control storage. The map was provided but no way of knowing where it is located as there were no signs outside.

For an interior unit it is very spacious and well maintained. I am overall pleased with my rental thus far.

I had inquired at one time about disposing of some boxes (which I had purchased at the facility) in the dumpster - I was told I would be charged - over a 6 plus year time that I rented the units I was shocked that I was told I would be charged to dispose of some broken down boxes especially since it was constantly overflowing with furniture , mattresses lamps etc etc

Our last month the same thing happened and it took a month for me to get credited back. I emailed Daphne several times and called and then I had to go into the store to ask her why she has not credited because she never called or email me back. She said her email was messed up. And she caught it to me the same day after I left. That was unacceptable to me. The time I took by email, calls, then walk in, which is a good trip from Hutchinson Island, to get my money back with no response, then a terrible excuse that her email was not working, was not a good experience at all. I don't see how she has a title of Manager. Other than that, the rental was good and the whole experience of that went very well and me/exceeded all expectations. Merci.

Not able to squeeze all of my calculated space needed effects into your poorly designed space, it took 3 attempts loading it. Only to fail .things went to an alternative space. The next day I challenged the clerk about the size.also phoned the manager and no help either. You stuck to your claim about the size .I would not have attempted to fit my stuff in your facility. Now my bank is charging me $35 overdraft fee on top of the extra day charge! You guys knew I would've been charged another day which is why you gave me the okay to unload the truck!

When I got to Fort Peirce, Que Watts had to search for my order because it would not show in your system. By the time I was done in the office and unloading my items, it was a little after 4pm. I should not be charged because of errors in your booking process.

Storage buildings are set too high so it didn't feel much different moving from being outside and should be set to at least 75 not above. Also the lighting inside the units are non existent which makes it hard to see things inside the unit that you're moving. And trash receptacle was overflowing.
Bonnie L | Expérience généraleEach time i went to my storage unit there was an issue: coded doors didn't work. leaks in the ceiling, rusted latches on unit, AC was insufficient to keep odor out of stored items. The workers seldom could trouble shoot issues with out extra help and there was not. The ramps moved creating safety issues for loading my items from my unit. They even locked my unit when there had been not issues with my billing. The insufficient service of the overall UHaul experience was one I have openly discussed as negative since the beginning of my move. I will not use UHaul EVER again. One should never have to be on the phone for 4 straight hours to get answers from someone that could answer questions.

Steve C | Expérience généraleUpon arrival, a very large truck with several pods on it was extending the length of the driveway up to the edge of the 4 lane road, US-1. It was impossible to not only move around, but couldn't be seen around to enter or worse, to exit as it blocked all view of oncoming traffic. This truck was in that position the entire time I was at the facility. Very dangerous. The fire exit to the building with my storage unit was actively being blocked by towing equipment, even as we asked to use the entrance to unload. The reason we were told no is that it's emergency only. And the manager & staff were in the process of blocking it with trailers, etc. so it would be useless as a fire exit. Alejandro handled my account and gave inaccurate information and misdirected us to the building next door. Once we managed to get around the large truck blocking the view of the street and entered the storage area next door, we found we were in the wrong location and could not exit. Despite calling via the callbox for assistance, we remained stuck there for some time. Alejandro eventually responded to say he was standing where we were supposed to be & SURPRISE - we weren't there. Useless. A waste of time & with all the other safety issues, the last straw. I only offloaded my things as I was pressed for time and did not have time to find another storage option before returning to Sarasota. I definitely would not recommend and, in fact, took photos of the serious safety issues which I'll be happy to forward for your review.

After Uhaul online reservations I made for my move from GA to FL literally made every mistake possible with all my reservations and I was up for 28 hours with my 2 sons (1 sick) and service dogs, Daphne was able to arrange storage and movers when no one else at Uhaul could. I am grateful to her amazing abilities as a manager!

They could not have cared less that their building leaked and our belongings were ruined. Just a horrible experience.

The only issue we had is that we were cycled through 5 units before there was one that was actually available; they had just auctioned units & they went back into the system despite not being empty yet. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to help us find one that was actually free, but it still made the process unenjoyable at the start. James specifically was a huge help to us in the beginning!
