My original order was for Ft. Pierce. U-Haul arbitraliy switched me to PSL at 6666 Us 1. That woman was RUDE and nasty. If you ever do that again I will NEVER rent from you again! This was my 2nd rental from you and I'm going to again next month, Ft. Pierce is very good. That woman in PSL should be fired

I booked a truck and had a reservation at the bayshore location. The day of moving I opened the reservation and it said I had to pick up the truck at the Fort Pierce location. When I arrived on moving day with several people coming to help me move I was told they don't have the 26' truck. I had a 4 bedroom house to move. They only had a 10' truck and we have to make almost 10 trips. I am requesting a FULL REFUND and I should not have to pay. No one called me and even notified me that I had to go to another location that was further yet alone call me to tell me there was no truck. I am requesting a FULL REFUND.

I had to travel 40 miles to this location as the Uhaul sites near Jupiter florida were substandard in both equipment and especially in profession employees. As for the main number 1-800 468-4285, do yourself a favor and go to the location as the information you receive from the main number is inaccurate at best.

I requested a truck and car hauler from this location. I was advised to use another location 10 miles away only to find out, upon arrival at the second location, that they did not have the equipment. I called an 800# to seek advice and was told there was equipment back at this , the original location. I was not offered any apology or reduced rental charges. The first car hauler they offered had a blown tire. Ultimately, I got my rental and returned it earlier.

This site is scamming people by not checking in the equipment when it is returned. I returned the equipment on the same day three hours later to Jaylin. He promised to check it and never. While I was a customer was complaining to the manager on the phone for the same thing. I kept asking for a receipt, he kept saying I'll get it in the email.

I dropped off the truck a day early, I entered the building and the guy at the desk wanted nothing to do with us. He just told us to drop the key off outside. I returned the truck with more fuel than I received it (I have pictures) and they still charged me $10.50...saying it had less....NOT TRUSTABLE AT THIS LOCATION !!!!!!

The u-haul was dirty, cup holders were full of water, there was trash on the floor. Employee really didn't seem like he knew what he doing and the other guy seemed unwilling to help. Asked for a manager the employee told me to call the 800 number. I would rather go a little farther down the road. HORRIBLE experience.

The brakes on the truck were horrible. The truck kept stalling on me. The windshield wipers were no good and of course it rained, and to top that all off the rain leaked into the mothers attic and soaked all of my belongings. I just don't understand why they are not using water hoses periodically to check for leaks. And why they are renting out trucks with bad brakes and mechanical problems.

Horrible experience form start to finish. My reservation was not guaranteed. My trailer was given to someone else. After returning the trailer, I was called the next day to ask why I didn't return the trailer. I told the person that I did the day before and they then hung up on me. The next day I was charged 3x more than I was originally quoted. Never again.

Had my reservation cancelled by U-Haul and never was advised. I reserved on Tuesday and pickup was on Friday. Had to drive 14 miles out of my way to get the truck. Never compensate for this inconvenience. Also had an appliance dolly on my reservation but never put in my truck, the employee acted like her gave no care in the world. Thank god I checked before I drove off. Would consider budget or someone else!

Get better employees that work when I comes to checking customer back in after they drop off their rentals. I did appreciate getting cussed at when I dropped off my rental on a Sunday. The employee was very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful.

The 10ft should come with a ramp, and the dolly was placed in the back of the truck unsecured by your worker.... So pretty much it slide the whole ride.

They park uhaul trucks cross from the units sided with the wall where I personally have a hard time loading and unloading my 16 foot truck box without blocking the road and I have to move it everytime to let other tenants pass through When I asked once uhaul representative who was moving one of those trucks to pull back the 26 foot truck back a little so I can load without causing any issues for entering the incoming tenants he told me he doesn’t have the keys and can’t get the key I left the facility for the inconvineve and the lack of customer service at uhaul representatives at this location

THE MUFFFLER JUST FELL DOWN FROM BACK OF CAR. THEY NEVER PUT THE MUFFLER BACK IN THE BRACKETS. POOR WORKMANSHIP. ALSO THE WIRING WAS LEFT IN THE TRUNK NOT INSTALLED WITH HITCH. TO HOOK UP YOU HAVE TO OPEN TRUCK PULL WIRES OUT SHUT TRUNK ON THEM THEN PLUG INTO THEM. POOR WORK. NEED TO CHECK YOUR INSTALLER.

Irmalys Fernandez is an excellent communicator when everything seemed to be miscommunicated while making reservations via many phone calls to reserve a storage unit their was and may have been a lack of knowledge in my part as to different products for my moving needs I had one gentleman ask me for a credit card number via phone on February 8 ..to have a credit card on file he said. It wasn't clear all along the type of storage unit I needed I think they were trying to promote their shipping containers promotion and I believe I didn't know the difference while on the intial calls..when I went to this location I went through 3 associates until she stepped in and handled it well ... The other young men were not as knowledgeable to troubleshoot with my confusion has to product had been reserved and it wasn't their fault someone and others who I been in contact with via phone to reserve my spot I think that's where the confusion began..so when I went physically to the site mention above the reservations wasn't available because ... my apology to the 2 young men who tried and had nothing to do with the miscommunication from the get go..

I have previously had good experiences with this rental location, the trucks are clean and plentiful, and the employee who assisted us was very nice. However, he was not aware of all the steps necessary to rent a vehicle. He did not let us know about the texted link to the vehicle inspection, did not let us know that we would need to fill this out to check the mileage, gas amount, and any vehicle damage, so we ended up having to call customer service to do this later. Additionally, he did not explain the vehicle mileage limit, or that since we were going an alternative route, that we could request a higher vehicle mileage limit, which caused us to incur an additional $250 worth of costs at the end of the trip when we returned the vehicle. Please train your employees adequately so that additional phone calls with customer service are not necessary.

I went to move out but forgot my key in Massachusetts I had the code for one lock but not the key for the other. Instead of just letting me cut my OWN lock off, they made me hire a locksmith. So I can pay the bill to the storage but I can't take my own lock off. Ok. And then to top it off they have ROACHES!!!

DISAPPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST! We have been customers over a year and found the compatition was offering the same unit $65 less per month (regular rate not a special) we asked if UHaul would price match and were advised Uhaul will not. We also stated we will be long term customers and still no cares given. We proceed to move out same day. When I closed my unit 6 days after the auto payment I was told no refund. Steps in and out of the building are not safe and can be slippery. Parking is limited and staff polite but not friendly at all. It may not be a big deal to loose our $172 a month but I will be spreading the word about our new unit that worked out to be $90 less no special rate and right down the street.

The 10x20 unit (auto pay) and the staff were ok, but not really helpful. I would say the people and helpfulness was less than expected. My wife is 77 and I'm 80. This was a big move for us to clear out. I needed some help. Because I haven't been in FP for 15 years, I'm not familiar with services in area. -So, I asked if they could recommend or suggest an honest locksmith (answer No). I ended up with a locksmith charging $200+ for 15 minutes. -I needed help and one of the workers wanted to help after his work hours….manager said no, but offered no options or help. When about 90 % cleared out, I asked if I could pay for help to finish (we were exhausted), manager said $300. Too much for my fixed income so after resting we finished in 0ne hour. -overall the manager was not rude but very unfriendly. Being older, we could have used a little more TLC and solution suggestions (I.e. locksmith, labor). Or at least a more empathetic attitude.

All staff was friendly and facilities were convenient but when we retrieved our belongings everything was covered in rat and mouse feces. Lots of cockraches. Our containers had been chewed into and we threw out several boxes of our belongings due to the damage. We then bought several other containers Nd removed what we could salvage. When I brought this situation up to the person at the desk he just said "I see." Absolutely no help, no care or reimbursement.I was under the understanding that pest control was maintained at your facility. I will absolutely not recommend these units to anyone.

I had my storage unit with uhaul for almost 3 years and never had an issue. The staff was always friendly and the units were always clean and had no bugs.

We were set to move in on 7/5/23 got to the facility did online check in and was given our first unit. Tried our code didn't work. Tried again. And again. Still didn't work. Called the offices they said it was because we were trying to enter the wrong building. Building are not clearly labeled for the inside units. Finally enter the correct building only to find that the unit assigned to us has a person lock and a red tag. So we call the office again and Leslie comes to us checks and verifies it must have been a glitch in the system. She tells us to come up to the office and will get a new unit. Leslie looks and doesn't have a unit the size we requested so she moved us to a bigger unit forcing us to pay the higher rent payment due to their mistakes. She assigned us another unit we go back and guess what it also has a personal lock on it. We scan the lot and find a few units that are open and we go back to the offices and tell them it's also locked but here are a few that are empty. We get assigned one of the ones that are empty and go to the unit and unload our stuff. After nearly 5 hours on the lot, 3 units, doing uhauls job, we were finally moved in to our unit.

I brought the pictures back to the kid who gave me the unit and said I cannot move into the unit because it's not completely moved out of. He said that if I gave him a minute do what he was doing that he would clean it out. I told him not to worry about it cause I was not going to stay for that. Then I showed him the picture of the end of the hallways. Three units down. He said yeah that happens some of our customers do that. I said there's food there. I mean I'm worried about bugs. And he just kind of shrugged his shoulders and said that Mays will be there tomorrow and I'll clean it up. It appears it's a specific spot where they allow renters to leave stuff they don't want. Cause I've rented a lot of storage units, and this was truly the dirtiest place I've ever tried to rent at. And all night long I have thought about possibly going back and telling them I'm not taking the unit because of those two situations. I know they can clean up my unit. But it looks like that'll be a constant source of disgustingness if they allow people to do this on a regular. I would really appreciate a call back 561-634-6392.

Storage looks run down and not well maintained. This is my first time renting a storage. I didn't know there will not be any light in the storage. Storage area was not in the actual office area. This made it difficult to find the storage. There are no signs outside to which door has access to which letter regarding climate control storage. The map was provided but no way of knowing where it is located as there were no signs outside.

Went to drop off to the storage B-24 rats were everywhere there was trash everywhere it was absolutely disgusting. My only complaints, and they are minor, are that the light in the unit was not working which could just be a bulb and there was no lock inside the unit like specified online but the guy in the office was super helpful and got us the lock no issue. For an interior unit it is very spacious and well maintained. I am overall pleased with my rental thus far.

The only reason my stuff was at this facility is because my ex-husband who is an abuser kept the truck too long we ran out of money we became homeless and my keepsakes including my grandmother's cedar chest is in that truck my baby's pictures all the things that are special to me are gone now and you guys are going to go through that and sell it well I sit six states away hiding from this man.

Crates, forklift, and equipment made access impossible. Staff had to shuffle things around but I still had a very difficult time backing my trailer in. When the unit was opened up, it was full of someone's stuff and filth. Staff had to unload the unit. All of this took time.

There is more than 1 physical address for this facility. It took us almost an hour to realize that and find our unit. The map doesn't show that many of the units have a different address than the office.

Gate access was unsecured constantly, specifically the green entry door. Lots of people loitering in their units, drinking alcohol, hanging out and constantly watching what is going on in other peoples unit. Trash everywhere. I didn't not feel my personal belongings were safe and secure here. On a better note the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Often times the security gate was standing open- as time went on I noticed that the area especially around the dumpster was overflowing and a total mess . I had inquired at one time about disposing of some boxes (which I had purchased at the facility) in the dumpster - I was told I would be charged - over a 6 plus year time that I rented the units I was shocked that I was told I would be charged to dispose of some broken down boxes especially since it was constantly overflowing with furniture , mattresses lamps etc etc

I personally had to follow up and did not receive phone calls back from the management team. Distraught to say the least. My 3rd time calling in, rep gave me contact info for marketing manager cal and stated she emailed all info to call. Gave me his email. I sent 2 emails and no response. I would continue to tell everyone how poor my experience was and how much money I lost making the mistake in choosing uhual and how they don't resolve ANY of their customers issues. APPALLED!

I was overcharged several times a late fee for nonpayment when I was on auto payment. I had to email and call to get credits. Our last month the same thing happened and it took a month for me to get credited back. I emailed Daphne several times and called and then I had to go into the store to ask her why she has not credited because she never called or email me back. She said her email was messed up. And she caught it to me the same day after I left. That was unacceptable to me. The time I took by email, calls, then walk in, which is a good trip from Hutchinson Island, to get my money back with no response, then a terrible excuse that her email was not working, was not a good experience at all. I don't see how she has a title of Manager. Other than that, the rental was good and the whole experience of that went very well and me/exceeded all expectations. Merci.

I will absolutely say this On contract you rented me a 10 x10. Physically it is 8' x8' verbally I was told it was 10x11. Not able to squeeze all of my calculated space needed effects into your poorly designed space, it took 3 attempts loading it. Only to fail .things went to an alternative space. The next day I challenged the clerk about the size.also phoned the manager and no help either. You stuck to your claim about the size .I would not have attempted to fit my stuff in your facility. We were in a jamb 9 hours of reorganization to make it almost fit after the drive from houston we had no luck. I would love to get a partial refund. John Ammann 281 851 7310. Merci.

Staff and supervisor should have advised me properly that an extra day charge will be charged due to using the vehicle to unload items for self storage next door. Now my bank is charging me $35 overdraft fee on top of the extra day charge! You guys knew I would've been charged another day which is why you gave me the okay to unload the truck!

I returned the truck hour after the requested time due to your system incorrectly scheduling the return at a different location than than the storage location. When I got to Fort Peirce, Que Watts had to search for my order because it would not show in your system. By the time I was done in the office and unloading my items, it was a little after 4pm. I should not be charged because of errors in your booking process.

It was difficult to get parking near the entrancer entrancer exit of the actual storage doors actual storage doors due to u-haul boxes being piled up and trailers being in the way of vehicle access. The temperature was now well maintained. The access doors were always malfunctioned. Store manager is inconsiderate.

Staff is nice but I was supposed to get my 1st month storage on new unit for FREE as advertised yet I was charged. I still want my credit applied. Storage buildings are set too high so it didn't feel much different moving from being outside and should be set to at least 75 not above. Also the lighting inside the units are non existent which makes it hard to see things inside the unit that you're moving. And trash receptacle was overflowing.

Each time i went to my storage unit there was an issue: coded doors didn't work. leaks in the ceiling, rusted latches on unit, AC was insufficient to keep odor out of stored items. The workers seldom could trouble shoot issues with out extra help and there was not. The ramps moved creating safety issues for loading my items from my unit. They even locked my unit when there had been not issues with my billing. The insufficient service of the overall UHaul experience was one I have openly discussed as negative since the beginning of my move. I will not use UHaul EVER again. One should never have to be on the phone for 4 straight hours to get answers from someone that could answer questions.

I didn’t get clear directions to where my unit was located wasn’t able to move in on the date I was suppose to had to drive to Orlando leaving my stuff on someone porch and drive back after work today to move in my storage because I wasn’t told how to find my unit or check in

We had to sweep the floors and clear roaches and mice dropping before using the room. However; agent Alejandro was very helpful and fast, and the deal of a free month helped us to deal with the situation despite my concerns that the criters could get into my furniture.i ll be sure to inspect my stuff when we move into the new home. I knew the area is prone to roaches and other creatures. I still would recommend it. I would advise to check the space before giving the keys to customers. Merci encore.

As a general comment, I would like Uhaul to offer a loyalty program for storage and truck rental. Or savings for repeat business. I've always tried to rent from Uhaul when I have the need for storage or truck rentals. I moved to a competitor when the storage price was lower.

The worst almost 4 years experience ever. We had a lot of mold, roaches and water damage in our unit. We had to throw so much away due to the damage. Such an awful experience. We also paid full price for the month of December and emptied our storage on 12/8/21 and they refused to pro rate our month of December. What a rip off!! I will never recommend this facility to any one. The management is so unprofessional as well.

The unit I was given was swept out but the pile of trash was left just outside the door of the unit. It still remains untouched 2 days later. The unit also shows signs of water on the concrete against both side and the backwall. Employee who took in truck I used was great.

The two young black chaps working the counter were extremely unprofessional. I waited online for 30 mins cause they work at a snail pace. It's disgusting how they have zero work ethics . It's disgusting they are selfish and not think of others. The owner finally helped me.

Let's see: starting with someone 'accidentally' closing my storage unit one day out of the blue when I am hundreds of miles away?!? Or granting me certain vehicles, only to do a bait & switch, or for no one to contact me AT ALL about my reservation?!? Let's just say that the ONLY pleasant experience with U-Haul was LEAVING the other day - in that, the dude outside when I checked out was pretty cool...but more importantly, it was great knowing that I will NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. EVER. Not even if there are 12 more pandemics.

Upon arrival, a very large truck with several pods on it was extending the length of the driveway up to the edge of the 4 lane road, US-1. It was impossible to not only move around, but couldn't be seen around to enter or worse, to exit as it blocked all view of oncoming traffic. This truck was in that position the entire time I was at the facility. Very dangerous. The fire exit to the building with my storage unit was actively being blocked by towing equipment, even as we asked to use the entrance to unload. The reason we were told no is that it's emergency only. And the manager & staff were in the process of blocking it with trailers, etc. so it would be useless as a fire exit. Alejandro handled my account and gave inaccurate information and misdirected us to the building next door. Once we managed to get around the large truck blocking the view of the street and entered the storage area next door, we found we were in the wrong location and could not exit. Despite calling via the callbox for assistance, we remained stuck there for some time. Alejandro eventually responded to say he was standing where we were supposed to be & SURPRISE - we weren't there. Useless. A waste of time & with all the other safety issues, the last straw. I only offloaded my things as I was pressed for time and did not have time to find another storage option before returning to Sarasota. I definitely would not recommend and, in fact, took photos of the serious safety issues which I'll be happy to forward for your review.

The local facility had to units available, and found one that was bigger than what was reserved. After setting it up for me, the unit was still rented out to someone else and there was a lock on the door. Unfortunately the office workers were overwhelmed with other customers and having similar issues that I opted to store my stuff else where.

Your manager Daphne Heywood is absolutely the most professional and efficient manager with amazing customer service skills I have ever met! After Uhaul online reservations I made for my move from GA to FL literally made every mistake possible with all my reservations and I was up for 28 hours with my 2 sons (1 sick) and service dogs, Daphne was able to arrange storage and movers when no one else at Uhaul could. I am grateful to her amazing abilities as a manager!

Too narrow on truck texture side.. no where to get turned around at all.. also tge storage side is very narrow with no where to turn around you have to back out all the way to the entrance.. the clients that rent here are not very clean or courteous and give u no room to access your unit

Had major issues with the 1800 uhual #, they booked me a parking space instead of a storage unit, gave me the wrong pricing for my whole transaction. The general manager gave me a storage unit at her store and ensured my pricing was accurate. She fixed the billing issue in a speedy fashion.

Had a on line reservation for a 10x10 climate control, went to moving in and all units were full, I showed the staff my reservation number and I was informed that they couldn't do anything, blame was put on online service, i was given a out door unit (which i did not ask for) the unit was not a 10x10, the back wall was made of wood and looks like the back wall moved forward. Getting unit else where, communication suck for uhal.

I had to pay moving help $350 for nothing due to being misinformed about the Sunday closing time. I was told that the hours of operation was 7-7 and after a 15 hour drive found out that the location closed at 5pm. Having already booked the movers. I was charged and then had to pay again the next day.

Water leaking into storage unit caused water pooling in the middle of the unit. Our expensive king mattress and queen box spring were both totaled. Moldy, mildewed and still wet when we removed them. I explained to an employee what had happened, who asked if we had insurance, then said that the manager told me to call 1-800-go-uhaul. They could not have cared less that their building leaked and our belongings were ruined. Just a horrible experience.

I had to get help to open the door every time. I told the guy who came out to help me in January that I was done with not being able to get into my unit. I was moving out please do what he had too. I moved everything out that day. I get nasty phone calls almost daily in February. They still haven't stopped

It's always hard to speak with a person at the location itself since it rolls over to the main UHaul line and often once you are at the Rental location, it is super hard to get an associate at the front desk when needed. It's like they disappear.

Online it said I would get a free lock (it would be inside the unit when I got there), there was no lock. The unit is dirty, wet in one of the corners and the door was very difficult to open with no rope to pull it back down after its fully opened. The reason of the poor rating is that I dropped the trailer off during operating hours and you charged me for after hours service and 1 extra day. I dropped the trailer off on December 3rd not the 4th. Also I was never told that I had to have a special lock for your facility. I would hope someone would read this and get back to me. I will be in to your business today to get it straightened out.

Had an issue where the trailer I rented required a 2" hitch ball and mine was 4" . Shawn quickly resolved it getting me a 10' truck which worked out well. Thanks Shawn!

Shawn the manager and the other staff person there were very helpful and polite. The layout is a little difficult for getting in and out while they are busy but they quickly moved any obstacle when asked.

We never even moved our stuff into the unit. We canceled our contract because there was rat poisons in the corners of the unit and roach bait all over the base of the walls. Then we seen a dead roach. We did not need a roach infestation in all our belongings. So we never even used it.

I was so, SO impressed with the staff at this U-Haul location. The only issue we had is that we were cycled through 5 units before there was one that was actually available; they had just auctioned units & they went back into the system despite not being empty yet. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to help us find one that was actually free, but it still made the process unenjoyable at the start. James specifically was a huge help to us in the beginning!

It was sad to see a great manager like Gregg leave our site ..we liked that we always had a contact with he and Shawn . The only suggestion we have is to have the phones at the site answered for questions . As I am sure it's a very busy place we had offen tried to call and there was no answer at that store .

The guy at the counter was not useful at all. Thankfully there was a lady there, I believed her name was Alexus, that was friendly and super useful that made the experience a lot better. But the guy at the counter didn't helped at all and was extremely slow.
