U haul is The worst company I have ever dealt with in the past 20 years of my life. I have been calling complaining regarding how uhaul Made my moving experience even worse due to the fact that they did not recommend the number of pods and this caused my seven-year-old mother to move with her daughter for seven hours. I'm still waiting for a callback from a manager right now..... It's really sad that called the company to explain for two months what happened and y'all can't do anything about it. Thanks-I will be telling everybody about your horrible service
The back of the uhaul was wet inside

I can't think of anything that they could do better at this time.
I was charged a second day because I was late. I didn't like that at all. After I call and said I would be late, they said I would not be charged and still charged me.
The associate was very nice she was able to get me squared away quickly ..i was pushed for time but she went out her way to make my transaction move quickly

Both the person who dropped off the box and the person who picked up the box were not wearing masks or social distancing. This was so unprofessional. I also was told there were no fees for my chosen drop off and pick up date, but have since been charged for 2 months of rent unexpectedly after I specifically asked if there would be any charges and was told no.

I reserved a 9 cargo van at the Tulane location, they refused me because I had no credit card, then she said had no 10' trucks. Agent let me walk away. I was a storage customer trying to move. So I went to the Gentilly location where I reserved a '10 truck, but it wasn't showing up, So the agent offered me a '15 truck and I was so thankful. Had the Agent at my storage location (TULANE) had done the same, the move would've been done in the time I had planned. I lost movers and time. This location was very helpful. Can't say the same about TULANE. And the elevators we're broken so that made the move even more stressful. Not happy with TULANE location at all!
Customer service was excellent they made my experience very good the workers was awesome
The clerks were very informative and empathetic and apologetic towards my experience as well as informative as to what I should expect should I utilize U Haul for my future transport needs.

why was i charge for fuel.when i return it in with more fuel than it had in it.fill up charge 30.00.it was not full. less than fourth of a tank.
The staff was always friendly & helpful, and that included when I rented the truck to move my items to the storage. The location, including the storage area was always very clean. My only suggestion is that I would still like to see more lighting and maybe another check in & out box in the back.
Communication with delivery drivers could be better. My container arrived on time but the driver thought it was Empty the entire time. My stuff was thrown all over. Luckily nothing was damaged.
The location of this office is dangerous and scary
The lady here was very nice and if I ever have to us U-Haul again, I will use this store.

Customer service is horrible. No one greeted me a when I walked in, the worker didn't explain any of the charges to rent. He just told me to sign the agreement and my deposit was 100.00. I had to ask what I was signing for. He didn't walk around the truck for damages. He stood outside playing on his phone. When I brought the rental truck back, again no one greeted. Another worker just started opening the truck without saying anything. I had to ask do u work for uhaul. He's response was yeah and you finish. No grand total or anything was mention. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL over there

Service exceeded my expectations
In the midst of a power outage, Ms Lisa handled problem after problem with patience and courtesy to each customer. She was a great help under the most difficult circumstances.
Very friendly and efficient staff. The boxes were all in good condition & packing and loading was a breeze.

Me. Jeff was a very reasonable man and was willing to help me with the process of returning the truck because I haven't rented a uhaul in more than a decade. Things have changed a lot but it all worked out well thanks to Mr Jeff. The ladies who rented the truck to me could be more professional I might add but overall my experience wasn't bad.

There was bugs in the unit that actually got into some of my bins. There was rat traps as well. Furthermore, the unit did not have enough light so it was hard to see when moving all the stuff out.
I would recommend U-Haul storage at this Gentilly location.
There was literally a problem from the very first moment with this facility and I'm not sure whether the staff is overworked but they do not go out of their way for clients at all nor do they bother helping each other.
The entire process took way to long and my access card still has not been activated, 24 hr later.
I guess due to what’s going on in the world today this the know normal.
They do not help with locating my storage and they did not inform me that the storage I booked (with climate control) was not available until AFTER I paid. That was very unprofessional and not at all what I was hoping for!

The person assisting me was in a rush to get off work and didn't want to take time to show me the unit so I had to get a unit without seeing it first because I was sure I needed that evening. I would like a bigger unit or a refund for the unit.

The customer service at this facility is outstanding!! Everyone was pleasant, patient, efficient, and knowledgeable. Nickcole gave excellent attention to my needs. I had a great experience!
I had to wait a few extra minutes .but ,it was ok because the size I wanted was returned.i was able to get it.

My goods were damaged The GM was so rude would not come to take pictures. wanted to argue with me I was disappointed my unit flooded had water damage no-one called me as I'm moving my goods wet

There's big spiders,rodents, droppings all over my property. Water damage to property as well. But uhaul went up on rent I cant make this stuff up. , I left most of my property because its damaged
I’ve never had a storage to we’re the rats an mice ate through everything I own I lost most of my stuff todo to that I’m so upset about it

I found a dead rodent & feces in a few of my boxes & watched a roach crawl from one unit to the one next to it. Not a cockroach from outside...a german roach..those relative to a nasty environment.

The only problem I had was that all of my things was full of mold for move out day, however I was under impression it was climate controlled.
I got Uhaul Boxes delivered to my front door. Boxes arrived early. Staff was in contact with me. Scheduled early delivery. Scheduled early pick-up. All went super smooth. Thank you!
Cannot comment on the store, however the delivering and picking up of the ubox was great - no issues!
I went to other U-Haul locations receiving bad service and walked out. This was the last location I was going to try. Service was Excellent at this location!!!! A+ Service!

I was promised a storage area and when I arrived non were available as promised. No explanation given why. Had to find another place for storage.

I rented a UBOX. I have been asking them for about a month to pick it up. They have yet to do so and have charged me for another month on my credit card which I expect a credit.
My pod was delivered to the street directly in front of my house. All staff members were friendly and helpful in our communications. Thank you for making my move so smooth!

Very helpful staff. Calling the office can be frustrating because hold times are excessive , but that seems endemic to every U-Haul location I’ve ever used. I would rent again from this location.
Ordered storage boxes online. Spoke to Hammond, La. driver, Heidi and met her upon arrival. Very nice and professional. Spoke to her again about pickup. Again nice and professional.
Awful service! Staff is terrible,system is not working,waited for 3 days to receive a call back to schedule delivery of U-box,on the 4-th day was forced to pay extra and delivered it myself.Stay away

I had so many problems with my U-box container shipment. It was supposed to be delivered by September 8th. I originally went online all the way back in July to select this date and they couldn't do it
I rented a U-Box and did NOT visit the facility. It took at least 10 calls to arrange for pick up. I was charged even though u-box was not picked up on time through NO fault of my own, NEVER AGAIN!

I can't comment on the actual storage facility as I never saw it. Boxes were dropped off at my new apartment. Everyone on the staff that I dealt with was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful!!

I used the U-haul box and the size was misrepresented when I spoke with a representative. I could barely fit a half a room in the storage box. The representative didn't go over exactly what I needed.

I was very disappointed with the services. The guaranteed delivery time was not adhered to. When I inquire about a rescheduled time, I was told, "I was lucky to be on the list, this was a busy time"
It was complicated to get access, because I needed to go get the person with a key at the office every time before getting into the unit. Otherwise it was very neat and well run!
