I had no issue with this storage but my move out date was prior to the date indicated in this survey. The attendant informed me that there were no additional steps to complete when I returned the main key. I would say that the only improvement is to confirm on the company's end when move outs are complete to avoid and discrepancies. Overall, I am satisfied.

Freddy C.Tell the customer to go into the rear lot and find the truck you rented, and the number on the key must match the ID number at the front Top of the box truck above the driver's side. I use a cane and it was Very difficult to walk the one block or 300 ft. To locate my rental. Otherwise, it was okay. No, I waited for the truck to be pulled to the canopy for a good while and no, I didn't ask for assistance. Generally disappointed.

LaTanya W.The technician needs to make sure to verify the customer's information, especially the phone number, as she did not with me and I did not know she transposed two numbers. She should also explain the check in procedure as I did not know it until I read the paper. Because of these things, I had a difficult and tedious time trying to check the vehicle back in when returning it. I had to wait on hold for over an hour to speak to someone since I could not check in myself. This was not a good experience.

WENDELL F.I rented a trailer from the Tulane Street location and printed out the confirmation at the time or reservation. Between that date and pickup date, UHaul changed my pickup location to the Chef Mentour location and sent me a confirmation text. No one reads confirmation texts closely, least of all me. I went to the Tulane St location yesterday morning, waited in line for 20 minutes, only to find out that UHaul changed my location. I asked to cancel that reservation and just rent one of the trailers they had on the lot. I was told that they had no idea if those trailers were already reserved or not. WHAT?!?! I was told that I would have to drive 20 miles away to the other location that UHaul arbitrarily change my reservation to.

Lance G.I have a problem with the employee Lisa Ruffin who stole my ride on Lawnmower from this location. They removed her from here for awhile now she's back working here again. So I guess y'all don't care about the employees stealing the customers property from this location. My lawnmower was in storage she sold it to me I put it in there because the hurricane was coming thinking my property would be safe. Just to have my property stolen by an employee of U-Haul. The day after the hurricane it's no way that anyone knew what was in the storage unit. It's ridiculous that she still has a job after stealing my property.

When I went to take my lock off the unit a couple of days ago a gentleman told me that he had never heard of that and I should have been able to get my money back. Somebody lied to me. Either the Manager or the attendant.

Shalonda D. | Expérience généraleThis was the worst experience I have ever had with U haul and I will not be supporting the company anymore, I will also never recommend your company and I have shared my negative experience with others. I was having electrical problems with my house so I rented a storage unit because the house needed to be rewired and I had to relocate, the next day the house caught on fire, I never even had a chance to move into the unit, after finding somewhere to go and dealing with the stress of a house fire I called back U haul to try and get a refund for the unit I never moved into because I had to pay the deposit on the house I found, it had been about 4 days and I called multiple times but kept being told to call back, they refused to give me a refund for the unit I never moved into because they said it had been past 24 hours. After all the support I have given U haul in my life you all showed no sympathy or compassion for someone who was going though a hard time and just trying to get a refund. that $100 was severely needed and I had to go without food for almost a week because everything I had went towards a deposit on a new house, you all made a bad situation for me so much worse. Your company is completely out of touch with the people your supposed to be providing a service for, your 24 hour refund policy combined with the overpriced storage units is ridiculous and just greedy. going forward I would rather go out of my way to find real people to help me move and I will find alternative storage units because a company as out of touch as U haul does not deserve the support of the people and I will make sure to let as many people know about this horrible experience as I can
