Even though I submitted my make and model vehicle in advance, I wasn't informed that I would need a light wire adapter until I arrived. Also, when I requested a nearby U-Haul location by phone, it was changed by email without my consent. In combination, these caused me 2 hours of delay on my day of travel.

I had reserved a truck for288 and I canceled it that same day got an email and was done. I replaced it with a trailer and got an email for it and paid for it. Went there the next day they still had the truck reserved for me and dad even have the trailer reserve in their system. So had to redo everything and guess what? That same day I got called from uhaul saying they need to talk to me about the truck reserved that still wasn't canceled!! Also when I tried calling for another for a rent they even said it wasn't canceled. Worst experience I have ever had..

I was just not happy with the supervisor who works at the counter. She was rude with one of her staff member because she made a mistake. This lady was also racist towards me. We must have to train her properly or get rid of her.

I felt uncomfortable when an employee came inside obviously mad about something, raised voice, used profanity, said the store closes in ten minutes, slammed a door as he went outside, came back in and asked if I was returning a vehicle.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. My only complaint has to do with the system as a whole as it noted somehow in the system that the drop off was Grapevine, TX (William Tate) when I requested Roanoke TX and never mentioned Grapevine TX. The system must have changed and defaulted back to the last place I used 5 years ago versus what I requested in Roanoke TX. I just left it as it was more painful to change but that is my only complaint but the drop location and personnel were great. It actually was a little weird that it happened so quickly as I was expecting it to take longer to check it back in but they just dropped my trailer and said have a great day. It was awesome.

We we're charged for miles when we we're sent almost 20 miles from our home we had a storage unit from uhaul in Justin tx we had for years rented many trucks but we will not return to use uhaul again bad service

Despite being a little farther than the general area where I settled the facility enables me to make future plans within this location. Wish I had known there is ample storage space at the drop-off location. Overall with all the issues with scheduling equipment and pick-up location changes including coordinating hitch and wiring installation the work by U-Haul representatives helped accomplish my goal. Price adjustments for inconvenience or incentives for early return of equipment should also be available.

I reserved an appliance dolley and furniture pads and the truck was on empty. I was told they don't have dolleys because people do not bring them back, and they don't put the pads in the truck, unlike what the app says. Also it's very inconvenient to have to find the nearest gas station when you have to meet the movers in 20 minutes

I'm only giving a below average rating because I feel like the price is ridiculously expensive. I only agreed to pay $185 a month for a SMALL unit because I was in a bind and the location was convenient. There are many storage facilities much lower in price.

Was sent out with a trailer with worn out tires and one of them split open. Was stranded for a hour about 60 miles from home at night. Last time I rented a box truck, I overfilled the tank about $30…no one cares to apply credit to the charges. I call that stealing.

Everyone was nice besides the kid at the end when I was dropping off. Kid was a prick. I'm sorry but I do not have time to wait for your once a year trailer pullers and large vehicle drivers be explained every feature of a piece of equipment. Shouting at me and telling me to stop when I doing YOUR job for free is not a good look. Hire more people or lose the attitude. Will be back though, hoa doesn't allow trailers at my home :(

I was charged three separate charges for one U-Haul usage. They called me after I completed an after hours check-in to cause me of not returning keys that were in the drop box. They hung up on me when I called to clear up the key issue, and no one wanted to acknowledge the triple charge so I had to call my bank to handle the issue. Awful.

I reserved an appliance dolly. When I arrived, they said that they do not have an appliance dolly or any dolly available to rent any longer and oversold their reservations. They had plenty that were for sale, so we asked if we could rent one of those since this is something we reserved and necessary to our move. They said no and offered no solution. I would not recommend U Haul to anyone, I will tell my friends and family how unreliable U Haul's services are so that they do not have the same troubles we had. Moving is hard enough, why make it harder by working with a poorly prepared company?

Maybe better lighting on headlights when driving at night. It was hard to see. Other than that it was fine. Clean when I got it and everything I needed inside to help with my move.

The windshield wasn't clean inside, I could barely see out. Had to clean it to drive it. Wasn't the cleanest I ever picked up. Someone should be checking tire pressures as well. But the staff was friendly, overall the experience was good, we got the job done and that was the bottom line. I would use this place again.

I moved out on 6-7-22. The UHaul employee working the units inspected the unit and called it in to the desk as good. Went to office they were busy. They took my information and said they would finish up and close account. Kept getting bills. Chatted with UHaul online. Said Grapevine would take care of it. Still getting bills.

UHAUL Storage unit building is poorly maintained (after-hours swipe in/out security access rarely works, single elevator for entire building periodically inop). Facility is overcrowded with rental trucks that are stacked at storage access loading dock and block access for customers trying to load/unload. Management allows truck rental customers to park their personal vehicles in the lot during the duration of their multi-day truck rental leaving no place to park or maneuver when trying to access storage unit. All these comments are based on multiple complaints to managers over several months without resolutions-I ultimately just moved out.

The manager, I can't remember her name but it started with a M, was very friendly, efficient and understanding. Her staff on the other hand were not. One time even after I set up payment arrangements with the manager I was called and threatened with auction. The guy was a complete jerk and rude! Plus when I was able to come back into town to get my items a lot of my stuff was missing. I didn't realize it was missing until I started unpacking my boxes. They didn't go through individual boxes, they just took 4 of my large boxes with a lot of my decorations and personal effects. Not worth much to anyone but me and my family. I wouldn't recommend this storage facility to anyone unless they want to lose their things. There isn't anyone you can file a complaint with because it is your word against theirs.

Elevator was frequently out of service and those of us on higher floors would often not have access to our units for days. That was the only issue I would have.

Trying to close out this unit was the most awful experience. It took from June 13 to July 5 to get it resolved… I had to call multiple times and each time I never spoke to the specific location; I was forwarded to the customer service center. I was told multiple times the manager would call me from this specific location and she never did. I had to call many times over those 3 weeks so get it closed. I even did the online close out and it says someone will contact you in 48 hours. No one ever did. I then received an email that said our payment was late and there was a fee added on. I called again and the customer service center could not get in contact with the manager… so I was given her email. I voiced my frustration and all I got was a close out receipt of our unit. No apology at all. I am so upset. Customer service is so important and is lacking immensely. We also had a situation of picking up a truck to get our stuff from the storage unit. The truck was supposed to be picked up at five in the morning. My husband went to go pick it up and there were no keys. We were not told that the previous customer did not return the keys in so my husband had to wait eight hours to speak to someone at that location because it was a Sunday, and figure out a Plan B. And we only received a $50 compensation for that… I understand that it's not their fault but we should have been notified ahead of time so that my husband didn't have to waste eight hours.

This was my 5th time using this storage location, and it is very suitable with a fair price. However, lately there have been an increased number of dead insects inside my storage unit. They should probably spray the perimeter better so they don't make it inside my storage unit. The entrance has a "donation" area which turned into a junk storage area, and no one dumps the trashed items. Management routinely parks un-rented U-haul trucks in front of the customer loading dock which blocks access to pick up/drop off heavy items.

I would and wouldn't recommend this location. It was too overpriced. I moved to a storage unit that was less expensive. Plus I was on the 4th floor here and it was way inconvenient for me.

Very hard to access my storage to unload a trailer. Overflow of trucks only gave me a small opening to unload ... including a large step up to manage. Also, be consistent across U-HAUL regarding masks. In NORMAN OK, no mention of "wear your mask". In GRAPEVINE, TX, the employees were overbearing and unfriendly regarding the requirement to wear a mask. At the same time employees were telling us to wear a mask, other customers were not wearing masks plus on of the counter employees was wearing her mask under her nose - the entire time we were there.

I called and canceled a month ago. You charged me an extra $200 bucks because I didn't come in and stand in you long line or deal with your impossible website. Can I least get a store credit? $200 seems very unfair.
