FREDERICK DI would like to thank Cyril Moorman for taking care of me. Despite his dealings with everyday customer service and dealing with difficult customer I presume. And me walking into a rough day of his he ultimately took care of me professionally. I really appreciate that because my life has been dealt with big blows recently with the loss of my mother and then an uncle on March 2nd then dealing with me not having a place to call home and despite his rough and long days with customers he made my day as I turned in the U-Haul and I would like to thank him for than. May he be Blessed abundantly and may he have peace with everyone he deals with. Thank You All.

Mohammed GWhen I got to my destination, I opened the back of the trailer, and there was a large wardrobe box with a bunch of garbage in the bottom of it. Makes me question why do I bother to make sure my rental is cleaned out if you don't bother to check.
ALAN CCheck in was quick and easy. Equipment was clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze. Pulled in, he unhooked me, and I was good to go.

DOUGLAS AThe pick up was nice and easy and simple and so were the guys who assisted me but I am actually disappointed upon my return. I spoke with the guy at the counter upon picking up the keys and a dolly and furniture dolly. I had the 2 items and the truck for 2 days. He told me if i brought it back before the end of day 1 would not pay an additional day for the 2 items the truck. Well it charged me. I asked they guy inside and he said it would send my an email with the correct charges and it was still the wrong amounts. Disappointing.

JAMES LThe truck I drove was pretty beat. One of the TPM sensors wasn't working and the driver door did not seal all the way, which could be pretty dangerous. Steering wheel was sticky and torn up - gross. The dollies reserved were not available. I was charged a below-fuel fee, but the fee was refunded after I opened a claim.

And drop of location changed out of the no where waisting more mileage because had to return because items were not in truck snd because drop of location changed Worst service ever and yall like to steal money..

I asked about a free mo my daughter told me about n it is a nice well kept facility Kathy very nice n took us to show us where ours is located I did ask about the mo free she said yes but never elaborated on it at all. And since I started the storage on line n paid 1st mo on 5x5x10 at $95. But she found me another but on 3. With flat dollies we managed just fine there such a great idea! But the one she gave us on 3 was bit less $89 I believe so maybe only $5-6. Difference but she never brought up the car amt or when it wud come off one of my next 1st mo pmts. So, I recvd NO info on those 2 things if I may can I ask about something just came to mind? I'm a 70 yr old woman, do y'all offer any Sr. Disc.s?? Thank you for even checking bk on new customers! One more ask? If it wud be possible to make my March PMT my free month? I'm just almost caught up fr C Mas. A whole lot of grand,Grt grands, ha I let them all know Maybe they should take a lil break. CONRAD RWe reserved a rental two weeks in advance from a location in Hurst, Tx. The day before we were to pick up the truck, the rental was unavailable and we had to pick up in Grapevine, tx. Very inconvenient.
DAVID NThe cost per mile to rent a truck is extremely overpriced. Even if it were a newer truck, it's very overpriced. I was driving an old truck with almost 200k miles that was anything but a smooth ride.

TANNIS RThe female manager at U Haul Grapevine on Thursday morning (1/16/25) was very customer friendly and professional. I'm sorry that I can't recall her name - due to being extremely sleep depriveddue to moving. But I wanted to recognize her for being helpful and courteous.
JOSEPH ZI pass several U Haul locations to rent from these guys. Just always pleasant and accommodating.
MARK JThe truck was filthy, with coffee stains and debris. I cleaned as much as possible; however, this is not the way you should deliver a vehicle for a long trip. Very disappointed.
PABLO RI would have liked to have had an explanation about how things worked such as the brakes. But overall it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly.

AARON SI had previously given a poor rating because I was charged for fuel even though I brought it back after refueling. Marisel has quickly taken care of it and corrected my charges. Very responsive customer support.
Charles SVehicle was old and did not include a USB type of phone charger. Additionally, my initial reservation was moved by UHaul to a location that required mobile pickup (the truck and the person was not eligible, so the whole thing had to be moved to a new location at the last minute). Uhaul provided bad information and couldn't explain why they moved my reservation to the new ineligible location to begin with. The actual location where I got the vehicle was great. The uhaul experience was meh.
ISAAC BThey made a big fuss about remotely picking up the vehicle at the appointed time. I thought that the pickup time was primarily so that you wouldn't pick it up earlier, not later. It was cold out and it took a long time for all of the remote parts of picking up the truck to work out. The truck was maintained and clean. If the issues with remote pickup generated from this location then I wouldn't recommend, however if it was caused by U-haul corporate or the app then this location was fine. Overall, the truck worked great (except for obvious tire wear on the right front caused by poor alignment) and it was a dissappointment that the truck did not have cruise control especially as it shows it in the specifics of getting to know you 15' truck. Advice-Ask for one with cruise control or U-haul- If you don;t have many trucks with it, don;t put it in the "Getting to know your truck" specifications. Ps-I had to select something for "Would you recommend this location to a friend" and I clicked No as I just remembered something in addition to the above difficulties and that is that our 2 dozen pads were not in the truck. They were fortunate in that we did pick the truck up at 7:30am. A guy had just gotten there for their opening at 8:00am and he supplied them to me. If I had picked it up at 6:00am I would not have gotten the pads and would've had to make a special trip to get them, which would;ve made me give them a NO anyway.

CARLOS CThe general manager is awesome. Took great care of me & my needs. Elevator was down on a Saturday, but he & 2 other employees helped me move a trundle bed up to my 3rd floor unit, then helped me move down a twin xl electric bed with a 12 inch matress to my truck for my disabled bedridden wife who needed her bed changed out in 1 afternoon. These guys went over & beyond in imho. The rent on a 10x10 unit was too steep though, going up by $10 to $239,99 monthly. I needed a short term storage unit to help me organize & swap out furniture at her apartment & furniture & my home as my 85 year old Mother passed away suddenly of a stroke. My first month rent was free, thus costing me $115 a month for 2 months rental. Thats all I needed. Nice facility and super staff I can highly recommend. Prices are too high though for most folks.

I observed 2 employees parked several times, a grey lexis and small 4 door white car. Multiple trips I had to park out in the lot and cart my items up and down a ramp. In my opinion, not very professional. The interior was normally 80 degrees but dust did not seem to be an issue. Overall I had no issues.

I was later I was told that they were understaffed and therefore no one was available to answer the phone Secondly, the staff are young men with a frequent turnover. And these staff members were not trained or knowledgeable of the system and administrative duties. Very frustrated

David F | Premières impressionsI had to in multiple instances redirect the staff who were very distracted with eachother outside of work related focuses to please check me out. This staff was inappropriate in their jokes outloud to eachother infront of customers and were more concerned about eachother than the customers that were needing help. I spent 30 min checking out with them partially due to technical issues in the system that day but the other half of it was because of their lack in the ability to focus on their work at hand and being to busy making jokes and horseplaying in almost a manner of them thinking the customers were enjoying their actions. I had to finally ask them to focus on checking me out and remind them that I was on a timeline to turn in my truck and had just finished a 2 day drive across the country and that I would like to be done with everything sooner than later due to their account of not focusing on their tasks at hand. They were more than enough staffed, but were more focused on their jokes and horseplaying than U-Haul business with its customers. This was the most poor example of U-Haul employees I've experienced, and due to the delays and lack of focus I lost my patience and told them to come get me once they were done with the horseplaying as I had to complete my unloading so I could complete my move. My girlfriend came in the office to complete checking out as I was done with the lack of service I was being provided, and she relayed to me that they were sorry for everything. If you would like the details as to the actions that took place please call me. I'm very disappointed in the staff I encountered.

John G | Expérience généraleUHAUL Storage unit building is poorly maintained (after-hours swipe in/out security access rarely works, single elevator for entire building periodically inop). Facility is overcrowded with rental trucks that are stacked at storage access loading dock and block access for customers trying to load/unload. Management allows truck rental customers to park their personal vehicles in the lot during the duration of their multi-day truck rental leaving no place to park or maneuver when trying to access storage unit. All these comments are based on multiple complaints to managers over several months without resolutions-I ultimately just moved out.

One time even after I set up payment arrangements with the manager I was called and threatened with auction. The guy was a complete jerk and rude! Plus when I was able to come back into town to get my items a lot of my stuff was missing. I didn't realize it was missing until I started unpacking my boxes. They didn't go through individual boxes, they just took 4 of my large boxes with a lot of my decorations and personal effects. Not worth much to anyone but me and my family. I wouldn't recommend this storage facility to anyone unless they want to lose their things. There isn't anyone you can file a complaint with because it is your word against theirs.

It took from June 13 to July 5 to get it resolved… I had to call multiple times and each time I never spoke to the specific location; I was forwarded to the customer service center. I was told multiple times the manager would call me from this specific location and she never did. I had to call many times over those 3 weeks so get it closed. I even did the online close out and it says someone will contact you in 48 hours. No one ever did. I then received an email that said our payment was late and there was a fee added on. I called again and the customer service center could not get in contact with the manager… so I was given her email. I voiced my frustration and all I got was a close out receipt of our unit. No apology at all. I am so upset. Customer service is so important and is lacking immensely. We also had a situation of picking up a truck to get our stuff from the storage unit. The truck was supposed to be picked up at five in the morning. My husband went to go pick it up and there were no keys. We were not told that the previous customer did not return the keys in so my husband had to wait eight hours to speak to someone at that location because it was a Sunday, and figure out a Plan B. And we only received a $50 compensation for that… I understand that it's not their fault but we should have been notified ahead of time so that my husband didn't have to waste eight hours.

However, lately there have been an increased number of dead insects inside my storage unit. They should probably spray the perimeter better so they don't make it inside my storage unit. The entrance has a "donation" area which turned into a junk storage area, and no one dumps the trashed items. Management routinely parks un-rented U-haul trucks in front of the customer loading dock which blocks access to pick up/drop off heavy items.

At the same time employees were telling us to wear a mask, other customers were not wearing masks plus on of the counter employees was wearing her mask under her nose - the entire time we were there.

The guy that noted all this in the computer said 3011 would be closed when my daughter closed unit on Dec 14. My daughter rented Unit 3123 on Dec 14, the day she had movers empty 3011. The same plastic card was given back to her that day even though 3011 has been empty and closed since Dec 14. It was never "closed" from your records until Jan 8th. The mgr, Mark closed 3011 again on Jan 8th and 3123 on Jan 8.

Sean S | Expérience généraleI had problems with billing. My husband and I signed up for automatic billing. It did not happen and then they would tack on late charges. That happened twice. Then in May they call us and tell us our storage unit had not been closed all the way and my glass table was busted and things were missing. This was temporary storage for us until the military shipped the rest of our things overseas. Also, they do not tell you that if you get your things out early it is not prorated you still pay the full amount. I cancelled my credit card so they could not refill me after all my things were removed. Since, I had so many problems with them billing me. The manager was rude she was supposed to call me back the first week of March and her response was I called you in May. It was to tell me about the unit not being locked not the problems I was having with billing. She was rude to me when I comforted her about it. I would not recthem.
