3 large boxes of mine were missing when my ubox arrived and there is nothing I can do about it. It sucks and I feel violated that someone stole from me. The ubox was broken into and no one told me, they just put some type of lock on there so that the door would stay shut. As I drove up to return a uhaul representative closed the garage door and never spoke a word concerning self return. Went and got in his car along with two other employees and drove off. I realized I had pulled up at closing time, however the customers relations I received was unacceptable. Very very poor. Trailer I rented had probably not been washed outside in a year or so. I spent about 10 minutes looking for the key drop, as the app showed a picture of something that didn't exist. There was no way to dispute the overcharge for miles that were promised or reconcile the fact that I had to drive 60 miles out of my way to pick up the truck and was never notified. Great customer service! The truck gage wouldn't register filling it. I turned key off and on a couple times, I over filled it 1/4 a tank because of this with extra money I didn't have. I really did not have much interaction with staff. One young kid had me pull up to detach my trailer from the car. I asked if there was anything more I needed to do and he said no I was good to go. Efficient right? Well then I got a bill for 30 $and some change that they charged to my card on file. I still don't understand what it was for! Frustrating if you ask me. First no where on the reservation stated what the location told me about the res for the cargo van.. I ended up having to take a 15 ft truck that used.more gas than what I needed it for! No where on the reservation stated that my dl had to.match the zip code to be able to rent the cargo van nor did it state I needed a major credit card to be able to rent the van. Upon my arrival at this location the Mgr would not let me rent the cargo van. I then had to select a 10 ft which was not available but on the lot. I ended up having to take a 15ft truck. That would use more fuel of course. Over my experience was horrible and completely crappy. When I made the reservation I selected everything online so I would not have to go inside the building but ended up having to go in and processing the whole process there. So the option of being able to rent online and take the option to be free from curbside experience out of the whole whole goal.. NIsrael N D.

rented 10 foot truck which was nice very clean, however while i was driving the truck off the tire low pressure warning light came on. i return it immediately looking for help. the attendant just told me to ignore it because the tire monitor was not working. i insisted that the tire pressure be check with a gauge. it was checked ok. my concern is the acceptance by uhaul staff to accept malfunctions and allow the truck to be rented.John R.

Picking up the truck using the mobile option was very frustrating. The scan code on the exterior wall was VERY difficult to use and once I finally got it to work the rest of the process was way too time consuming. It's very doubtful that I would use this option in the future.Lori B.

Customer service inside was good and the man at the counter was very helpful but my issue with this experience was the app and online not working. I tried to do the mobile checkout and pickup but there was a ton of issues and I was assigned to a vehicle that heavy damage to the front. Don't tell a customer to have the rented trailer by closing of the last day allowed. Charging my debit card for additional money for an extra day when I was told to have it back by 5 pm. Maybe notify Th at I am being charged more once I delivered it back before debiting my account I just pulled all the money except the money to pay to rent originally. The additional day charge over drafted my account and because of the lack of uhaul sales employees knowledge of uhaul policies it cost me 30,8 for addition day that I was told as long as I have it back by closing time is perfect. 45 the back charged me for a overdraft fee. So 75,8 that guy cost me because a uhaul employees lack of knowledge of return times. Maybe train your customer service employees at the 1800 number location communication skills. 30,8 for one day but 186 for three how does that work. I have already started a complaint with the BBB for false information by employee and I would also like the security video reviewed at my time of purchase as the counter person stated I had till the end of the day to return included in my 3 day 240 dollar rental. Also U-Haul should remove the safety of people first paragraph because it is false. I drove 430 miles in rain and 75 mph wind gusts to move I will happily send you the weather report. So I was lied to costing me money also not able to unload the day before due to 75 mph winds I get charged for what your people charged me being late 6 hours after being told end of business day. This is complete trash and I will never use uhaul again. I will Reccomend Penske for now forward. That you for stealing money from me and also lying to my face about drop off time.ROBERT LEE JR H.

Picking up took very long because 5 uhaul employees were all talking about issues with other customers and my rep would just stop doing my check in and talk to his co workers. Wiper blades needed to be replaced. Truck was missing Dolly and had to drive 10 miles out of my way to pick one up. Guy checking me back in outside said it should have had one in the back and i should talk to the guy inside about a credit. Reps only response inside was i should have asked for one. I didn't like being told that since I'm from Keller I'm not local. Please advise your employees what local is when your customer lives in the DFW area. Keller is less than 5 miles from the Grapevine location where I rented a truck. He was not rude, but not polite either. Certainly not Texas polite. He didn't want to help me in the first place. Service and truck were good, but additional charges were applied incorrectly and there was no transparency. Gas was filled on the same level I received (less than 20 %), but still it was charged with very high fees (almost double the cost). I was told because my driver's license said Arlington, I couldn't rent. Mind you, I'm a repeat customer to this location. Then they said it was because I didn't have the right type of credit card. They baited and switched me. They said all they could rent me was a 10 ft. box truck and then they pushed a rate of 0,79/mile where the sprinter van was half that. A 2 day rental cost me 700 dollars because they knew I had a long trip and forced me into a higher per mile rate. That's disgusting. Not to mention how less fuel efficient the vehicle was.RYAN C.

Rented 3011 for 2 years to store daughter's belongings. Both of us were there 2-3 days before her move on Dec 14 at which I informed UHaul that she would be moving Dec 14, any remaining items would be transferred to smaller unit which she would rent and pay for and I would not be financially responsible after Dec 31 inalienable payment. The guy that noted all this in the computer said 3011 would be closed when my daughter closed unit on Dec 14. My daughter rented Unit 3123 on Dec 14, the day she had movers empty 3011. The same plastic card was given back to her that day even though 3011 has been empty and closed since Dec 14. It was never "closed" from your records until Jan 8th. The store off of William Tate os the nest store I have ever used. Equipment is clean and ready to go. On my last day when I was turning in my key, I observed Mark Molina being treated HORRIBLY by a customer when he asked her and her 2 grown children if she had a mask because it said on the front door you need one. The units are immaculate and secure, I've literally never seen a storage facility as clean and kept up as this one. Marisel and her team in the office have always helped me when I had any questions regarding storage or when it came time for my move and went above and beyond to make that easy as well. U-Haul is not what you think of in the 70's or 80's. I found my experience to be, from getting my hitch installed in MD, storing my stuff in Grapevine to be outstanding experience. Had I known the experience I was in for, I would not have stressed my self out so much. Your CSR people where nothing but outstanding as well. I had problems with billing. My husband and I signed up for automatic billing. It did not happen and then they would tack on late charges. That happened twice. Then in May they call us and tell us our storage unit had not been closed all the way and my glass table was busted and things were missing. This was temporary storage for us until the military shipped the rest of our things overseas. Also, they do not tell you that if you get your things out early it is not prorated you still pay the full amount. I cancelled my credit card so they could not refill me after all my things were removed. Since, I had so many problems with them billing me. The manager was rude she was supposed to call me back the first week of March and her response was I called you in May. After a long day of driving a trailer to move some stuff into storage temporarily, she helped make the process as easy as possible.
