Passenger side view mirror needed a piece of folded cardboard taped to the bracket to hold it in place. Driver’s side retractable ramp on trailer came loose and slid out about 3 feet while traveling on highway. The clip that was supposedly to hold it in place was not functioning properly. I had to use my own bungee cord to keep it from sliding out again.

The trailer had a few running lights out. I rented it for 4 days but 3 days got entered in the computer and 30 min before they closed on the 3 rd day I get a text saying the trailer is due back that night I was not due back with the trailer till the next evening. Had to stop what I was doing and start making calls to fix the issue.

$20.00 gift card for being a preferred customer even if it comes from elsewhere in the rental stage. It will give a customer great satisfaction after a hard day of moving things around. It’s called positive reinforcement factor. Motivate the people who invest in you. I don’t need it or hidden fees, I’m just trying to adapt to a different society where some people think they deserve more. Good luck and all the best.

The employee Mike is awful at check in. When I first took the truck in the morning it had a check engine light and an oil change needed. The entire body of the truck had damage and scraps everywhere and it was not washed. I should of taken a video of the truck before I left Uhaul Guilford. When I went to return the truck this employee, Mike immediately went to the chip that was up high on the box and told me that I had hit something. I went less then 30 miles on RT 1 in between Branford and Guilford and was never close to a tree and didn't hit anything. What upset me most was the poor condition of the truck when I checked it out. With all the scraps and body damage that was already done to the truck you are going to single out one chip and be nasty and tell me that I did it. Not happening!!! I walked away from him and he made it very clear in a nasty tone that I was going to get charged for the chip. Employees like that should be fired. He's not good for business and I would never rent or recommend that location knowing he works there.

Garren the manager here is awesome A great representative of your business He is personable and polite The store is well stocked and priced correctly The only thing I can say that needs to be improved upon is the online verification process as it took almost half an hour to complete . My contact was called twice by two different reps which should not have happened . This added to the complications Again garren was above and beyond friendly. After that process the rest was seem less We will rent again from here and will let our friends know of the great experience we had

I waited over an hour to pick up a trailer and was charged incorrectly. I specifically said I didn’t want the $8 insurance. I even told the sales person when it appeared on the credit card swipe machine and the sales person said he was going to take it off. That never happened. Upon return, again, they said it was going to get credited but I don’t see it on my credit card statement. Start to finish - awful.

Phone app worked poorly couldn't complete transaction, counter under-staffed, took a very long time to check out, many frustrated people in line. Truck was not cleaned out, had sand on the bed liner. Staff sent this truck out with LESS than 1/4 tank of gas!! Totally ridiculous rental experience. Although the drop off was a breeze. Not likely to use U-Haul again.

We have just moved to Guilford and I would not hesitate to use this U-Haul center again. I will recommend it to anyone who is in need of this type of service. Your two employees are the best!!!!

The vehicles interior was terrible! The glass had a hazy film which made it extremely dangerous in sunlight conditions ( most of the trip)! Interior smells of cigarette smoke badly! The Gas powered vehicle as NO power and has the worst Fuel economy ive ever seen!

Perhaps start by being less dishonest and stop baiting with your advertised rates that have nothing to do with the reality of charges. You're even cheating, big time, on gas refill estimates. As far as I'm concerned you're a shameless bunch of thieves, will never rent with you again, and will spread the word.

The day I rented the truck I sat in the building with 6 other customers waiting for over 1.5 hours before I was taken care of even though I reserved days in advance. I will NEVER rent from this location again.

I picked the truck up at night. The headlights worked so poorly that I had to have another car come meet me so I could follow it home because I did not feel safe driving it with such terrible lighting. Even with the high beams I felt like I could barely see. The drivers side mirror also moves with each bump and can not be adjusted while operating the vehicle. This rendered that mirror useless for part of the trip and required me to stop frequently to fix it. I was forced to return the vehicle hours earlier than I wanted to because of fear of driving in the dark and take an alternative and longer route because of fear of not having an adequate drivers side mirror that resulted in a higher mileage charge and overall poor experience

Nice job. However, in the past they have refused to rent for more than 1/2 day yet charged for a full day with the explanation ; " we have to make a living." Buyer Beware.
