Leave your own unit unlocked With the key and lock inside the door for somebody to come get the last few items out and they lock you out taking your keys back to the main office and try to charge you more for the unit. After they locked my friend and I both out of my unit when I didn't owe anything it took 3 years to get them to stop harassing me and was a step away from contacting an attorney after they emailed me claiming I owed them $2 800 for a unit they possessed the keys for. Couldn't get them to understand they took my keys and locked my unit when I was up to date on payment because they thought it got robbed and they refused to do anything to make it right until yesterday when I contacted them after receiving the email. Dude at the office said it was closed out and I didn't owe anything yet his boss emailed me this morning wanting a review. Somebody you have harassed for 3 years about a unit you locked them out of because you assumed it was robbed when I told you I was done with the unit as soon as the couch was picked up, yeah not the person you want to ask for a review. Can't screw somebody over, try to force them to pays years of fees and expect anything more than the absolute worst review. I'm not sure why you emailed me wanting this review the in the first place after knowing what you all did to me. Normally I would say thank you however that's way too generous after being treated the way I have been treated by your facility and management. Take care and good bye.

Samuel M. | Premières impressionsDealing with the national phone line for UHaul was cumbersome and tedious. I tried to contact the local office (in Atlantic Mine) several times before the move-in date and was only able to reach the national office, who did not understand how that location (Quincy) works. This caused major frustrations as I tried to set up my account and determine which unit I rented. The whole process of dealing with an office that is not near the physical location is not conducive to good customer service, even though Linda tried her best to understand the problem, and eventually arranged for the local office to contact me. Once I was able to speak with the Atlantic Mine office, the matter was straightened out immediately and easily. Joleena is always helpful and efficient. I also rented from this location 18 months ago and would recommend them.
Mary E. | Premières impressionsUnit is fine but we didn't get a lock or keys. Had been told that there would be one inside the unit when we opened it, but the only thing we found was a rodent trap. Not a problem though, we had a lock to use.

Tim K. | Premières impressionsI decided to leave my storage unit because the unit and buildings were neglected. They routinely plowed my unit in, to the point where the plow pushed the door off the hinges. This caused water damage to some of my items. I called the manager at (906) 523-2534 a woman answered (She is the manager there). I told her my unit was plowed in and I couldn't access my business supplies. She asked if I had a shovel in my truck, I said I didn't and she said "most smart people" travel with a shovel - implying that I was stupid. She called me every name in the book when I told her she was being rude. I am specifically leaving Uhaul and have moved to another locally owned unit. The staff at Uhaul does not care about me or my stuff, only the money. I've spread the word about the quality, management and upkeep of Uhaul owned units in our area.
