I have rented from this location in the past equipment was not ready when I arrived also I've the phone when I reserved I was told I could use the cargo an until end of day when I arrived the sales associate put a time limit for 2pm said he doesn't know why someone over the phone would tell me something else this rushed me to get all the things done that I needed after being a returning customer and getting this service I will not be returning to uhaul again. I chose uhaul over a cheaper place due to using them in the past but this was not ok to rush me and tell me different from what I was told over the phone.

The signal came on for the front left tires.
Drop off was a pain, app nor website would work for a few minutes
The young lady that works there is extremely nice. The guy who was working with her, possibly the manager, on 02/02 kinda seemed like a dick. Wasn't so much the things he asked her to do, it was his tone. She seems very sweet and I felt bad for her.
Van was dirty with road salt & obviously hadn't been washed since last rental, but this is Chicago area in the winter & it's really hard to keep 'em clean. I tried to upload pictures of dirty exterior, but they wouldn't upload. Ended up not a problem on return. People & service were EXCELLENT! I definitely recommend this location.
The online checkout process takes longer than you think, but it's not bad. Maybe just make it more apparent what info will be needed so more time can be budgeted if you're slow with technology. I didn't have a problem, but I could see other people having a problem. The only thing of note on the truck was that when I was asked to agree or dispute the pictures of the truck, there were a lot of dings and dents not in the pictures, but marked by ‘x' on the vehicle, so I assume the staff knew about them but the pictures didn't have them. I just disputed the pictures and took new pictures and noted the ‘x'. Again not a problem just something to note.

My contract was to pick up my truck from this location. When I arrived, I was told that there was no truck for me and that I needed to go to Schaumburg to pick one up. No solution was offered until I asked if I could take the truck back instead of leaving it in Michigan as I was contracted to do. I had to then drove the truck back over 200 miles and pay more for gas. No apology made.
The gentleman that helped me was very helpful. Very nice.

Would have been nice if the truck was closer to my residence. Truck was in good condition however windshield was absolutely filthy.
I booked a rental at a Wheaton location, as the truck was listed as available there. The pick up was then moved to Hanover Park, 5+ miles away and I was not compensated for the mileage that the location move added, even though the lack availability was out of my control. When I asked if this would be compensated for me, I was told that it was a local move and there was nothing Uhaul can do about it. This was a major inconvenience to my family and I would think that a company like Uhaul would be willing to help out when the issue was theirs to begin with. It was unfortunate and I likely won't be using Uhaul again because this is the second time this has happened to me this summer - it is misleading and costly.

I received 4 phone calls day after I picked up truck; I was told I had the truck for 3 days. This location demanded it back in less than 2, and said the other location was lying and I would be charged extra for keeping it. Then 3 other phone calls all trying to confirm drop off location with different times and dates. Get your shit together.

The only complaint would be that it smelled of cigarettes when we first got in it. We are not smokers so we could smell it right away. Otherwise everything else was good.
The truck required a much needed alignment. It was very difficult to drive, especially on the expressway.
The truck we had, had alittle opening on the floor and alot of heat coming up into the cab.
Well for starters when I picked truck up there was only 3/4 of a tank of gas but contract stated it was full and when I returned it to a full tank this location said it was only 7/8 of a tank and charged me for gas

The customer service person at this location was excellent! not only was he attentive to those of us in line but he deftly answered phones and was as professional and nice as anyone I have ever encountered. I wish I could recall his name but ...he was great!
I would like you to improve your online 24/7 service tool because I had a bad experience to pick up my truck. I was scheduled to pick my truck at 6 am, but I waited 50 minutes because I wasn't getting the option for picking up my truck in the account dashboard.
The covered 5 x 8 trailer did not work with my Fords trailer light. The brake and turn lights would flicker but not stay on. They substituted us with a 5 x 9 open trailer and the brake lights worked. The covered trailer must require more current or something
I when I showed up 15 to 20 minutes before closing. And the place in Hanover I was dropping the truck off was closed even though it said it closed at 7. Thought that was wrong
Long wait times. Mileage was wrong and the attendant didn't know how to change it on the contract. Took an hour to check out and another hour for drop off.
Help customers find u-haul near their locations would help. Giving a little discount would have gone a long way in insuring future business with you guys but oh well
The truck was unsafe.the steering was loose and hard to drive and the abs lights came on. Never again.
I booked my rental July 3,2020 to pick up on August 27,2020. As I live right near the Lincoln Park U-Haul location, you can understand my confusion/annoyance at being forced to drive an hour out of my way to pick up the truck in Hanover Park. There was plenty of time to avail me a truck from Lincoln Park. The woman at Lincoln Park ( name beginning with a D______) was so rude, and didn't help me at all, she just stated that There was no truck for me. I had to call the U-Haul help line to even get any response to my needs. I all ready had the movers scheduled, the landlord was informed of my move out date. So the last thing I needed was for no truck to be available. Someone could have reached out as soon as they knew there wasn't one available, so I could at least try a different option. You took that away from me, as it was 4pm the night before I was supposed to leave. I am very disappointed in the way my situation was handled.
I did not place this order. Someone at U-Haul erroneously and perhaps fraudently placed an order on the account. In fact, multiple orders were on the account which are not my orders. This matter Is under investigation and was also escalated to the VP Marketing for immediate resolution.

The office was open but the person working there was out in the yard moving items around with a fork lift truck. It was raining at the time I dropped off the truck and I had to wait in the rain to get the employee's attention before I could leave the truck with him. It would have been better if he got off of the fork lift and came over to take care of me,

Submit the receipt after return the rented truck faster, since I returned the truck I rented at 12 pm and it is 11 pm and I still waiting for the receipt, the person at the counter took the key and said I'm busy I'll email it to you
I ordered a 26' truck, 2 box doleys, and 48 moving blankets. I got a 15' truck (because they didn't have a 26') 1 utility dolly, and only 24 moving blankets. What in the world is up with the smoke and mirrors gimmick of having me "Check in" the day or night before if when I show up none of my stuff is there? Literally every component had something wrong. Go make a reservation at a restaurant to learn how to run a business my goodness. You can't just say that something will be ready then give crap away willy nilly just because you have it. I am avoiding this location and telling all friends and family in the area to stay away.

I had a U-Box, no opportunity to see a storage room. Box was fine, lock was intact.
