I can't complain about the check in process but againâ€¦. Picked up with a quarter tank and returned with 3/4 tank and was never credited for the excess gas I returned it with and when I asked the staff about it, I got no response. Other than that they noted there was 3/4 a tank of gasPamela E.

I placed a reservation with your location in downtown Omaha. I verbally asked to reserve a 5 x 9 open trailer with a ramp. The young man placed the reservation for a 6 x 12 trailer. When I arrived to pick up my trailer, the one I wanted was not available. I had to go to another location. Transfering me went smoothly enough but, this was very inconvenient to the other people I had organized to assist with our project. TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER w.r.t. customer service.GARY C.

There were pieces of dry dog food in the front seat. When I placed the order online I received an email saying I would receive a call by 6pm the next day to confirm everything. No one called so I had to call the 800 number myself to confirm. When I got home with the truck the moving blankets I ordered were not in the truck. The guy at the 800 number when I confirmed said they'd be in the back. When I called the store they said I needed to pick them up inside. It's frustrating thst I had to go inside to pick up the key and no one mentioned the moving blankets. Maybe I should have said something myself but it would have been a much better experience had the people working made it a point to look at my order and/or ask if I had ordered anything with the truck. When I drove back to pick up the blankets the lady working was helpful.Chad N.

Had 2 issues, we paid for moving blankets and did not receive any. The other issue being a very loud exhaust leak. When a customer rents a box truck to drive to another state, you would think a check of the truck prior to pickup would be in order. We had to drive 9hrs with a blaring loud exhaust leak that was so loud it couldn't be drowned out even by the radio at full blast. Very annoying and inconvenient.CHARLES M.
Not give people vehicles with less than a full tank or 3/4 tank of gas. Because you guys still charged me 95 dollars of gas even though I only went 50 miles. You're welcome for the free gas. Disputed this and no one cared.Reece H.

We were very pleased with this location. However, the truck overheated in Vaughn, NM. We called for service and the lady told us there wasn't anyone within 100 miles to come help us. We were told to let the truck cool down and to keep going as we still had 1000 miles to travel. We had to sit for a few hours to let the truck cool down. We had 3 animals with us who were already in an uncomfortable situation. We are very upset how this situation was handled!DIANA B.

Went into store to rent trailer and the girl at counter said they had none available. I could see there where six in lot. Walked outside and used my phone to go online and rent one. Walked back in and gave her confirmation number and picked up trailer. She was just to lazy to do the paperwork and is telling everyone that they are all booked if you go into store to rent one.KELLI K.

The mothers attic had a leak and soaked my couch and other boxes. I am not happy with my experience with your company. I will not rent from you again. The receiving agent acted like it wasn't a big deal when I told him the truck leaked. I'm not impressed. I can't recommend your company when his attitude reflects your company. Sad.ADRIAN S.

I will not recommend this location to anyone, they are very unprofessional, rude and not helpful nor knowledgeable by far, One min you are speaking to Devonte then Katlyn comes n=on the line very rude pretending to be the manager. Their vehicles was not worth renting ive had called numerous of times complaining about the speed i was told to call road side assistance it doesn't go over 70 and driving from one state to another they fail to tell you that you will be stopping every 2 hours for gas they failed to tell you that they have a governed on their vehicle's which prevent you from going above a certain speed,. Very dangerous when you are traveling and you have semi truck behind trying to pass you up. I will never recommend this company to anyone if you have to pay more please do so its not worth you time money or life.TIFFANY J.

The ladies were amazing but they didn't do an evaluation of the truck and I didn't either because I thought that's something you guys should have done. Before getting into the uhaul the passenger mirror was broke. When I went to return it in Oklahoma they went to see if there was any notes and there was none. He was trying to charge me for the mirror but I refused. Wish the company was more organized won't be using uhaul for a while.Sara H.

The pick-up process was very poorly handled. We had contracted pick-up at a dealer four miles from our house and when we went to get the trailer we were told we had to go 22 miles roundtrip to another dealer to get the trailer (no advance notice). The original dealer was excellent and also had no prior notice of the change. No explanation for the change was given! Not a good experience.RICHARD P.
Terrible experience with U-Haul. Too save precious money I asked for protection/insurance whatever be taken off. Said they couldn't. Ended up paying over 600 $for truck. Truck had squirrelly steering. You need cruise control for those trucks!!. I feel cheated. Will use someone else next time.MIRIAM B.

When we picked up the trailer, the lady seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. It took 45 min to process the lease. She 1st stated that the trailer was not there for me, and then she had to redo my lease 2-3 times. Then when we returned the trailer, we parked the trailer where we got it, a man came out and was very rude and throwing his hands up and just not answering any of my questions. He then proceeded to just walk away. Then he was mumbling and shaking his head when he walked away.HALEAH R.

The van I rented was disgusting. It was full of flies and wreaked of trash. There is no way the van was inspected before I rented it. Also the guy at the desk had an attitude like I was a burden to him.MICHAEL M.

We requested a closer location so this was a bit out of our way, but it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend so can't complain too much. I was a bit unclear about the total amount due at pickup - I had thought the estimated amount included tax but must not have, although that was not itemized anywhere on the receipt. Pickup was pretty smooth and hassle-free otherwise - we were in and out with the truck within 10 minutes or so.MARK S.

I Returned the equipment prior to my 24hr rental contract ending, they checked my equipment in on the computer 4hrs after I returned my equipment generating a double charge. I called immediately, they said they would refund, but I have yet to the the refund 48 hrs later.John M.
The "orange box" to return keys isn't orange or a box at all. It took me (and my husband) about a good frustrating 5 mins to finally locate where to return the keys at.MARIA B.

The truck I rented had 200700 miles on it and pulled hard to the left when braking. Borderline dangerous. The staff was courteous and the store was clean. I felt somewhat over charged for the old equipment though.DENNIS J.

The mirrors and windows were dirty. The front desk staff acted bothered and were on their phone and rude. I reserved a truck and regular dolly online but when I got there was told they didn't have any regular dollies and I would have to use a furniture dolly at more expense and told me to take it out to the truck myself. When we got the truck there was a regular dolly in there and he said I could use that and he would take the additional charge for the furniture dolly off but when I received the receipt I was charged for the furniture dolly anyway even though he took it back in and I never used it. I just ate the extra cost because I didn't want to deal with it. I have used this facility several times before but never again.Christina G.

The employees at the Manawa location were professional and showed great customer service skills. My experience with my order at U-HAUL.com and working with the agents on the phone was a disaster. If I decide to use this company again I will only make arrangements at the location and never online and never on the phone. the agents got my order completely wrong you haul sent me to a location to pick up my equipment that doesn't even exist and they did not include the utility dolly that I ordered which caused me to extend my rental for days because I had to carry everything up many flights are very steep stairs by hand. that mistake cost me a lot of money and I personally injured my rib cage and arm moving the stuff. I am very happy with the staff at the manawa location but the online and 1-800 service was absolutely terrible!Bradley K.
