I was overcharged- I haven't been reached back out to and it's been over two months. I am not happy at all. I have sent several emails and made several phone calls
Employees there are super
Their was alot of dirt on steering wheel. Two wipes to clean it off properly. Other then that, workers were awesome.
I had a unit for five years. Not one problem with uhaul storage! My belongings were safe and easy to get to!
The truck was dirty,the window seals were bad,I heard wind noise from Michigan to Arizona. When I picked up the truck and car transport, the girl asked me what I was towing.I told her it was a Ford F-150 .when I got home I found out that it wouldn't fit on the trailer.when I called another uhaul dealer,I was told f150's don't fit and they don't have anything to tow my truck,so we had to drive two vehicles from Michigan to Arizona.I will not recommend u haul to anybody.
I did not rent a uhaul!! I called and told this to the place that said I reserved one. I did not. Somebody else did not me. Stop emailing me multiple times a day.!!!!!'
Failed to salt parking lot appropriately. It was ice everywhere. I slipped and fell in the lot. The only reason I put one star is because that is the lowest it would allow me to go.
The tires were completely bald and I'm surprised they made it through our drive. It was scary and they were humming so loud. The drop off location even said it was highly unsafe and we should have not driven it. They thought our complaint was a joke until we told them to look at the tires. I have photos and they still let us on the road in that condition.
The staff representative was extremely helpful, professional, efficient, and pleasant. Attitude is just as important as good service and good product, if not more so. Thank you for making it easy to be a returning customer.
Let people know that their is a safety feature so they know how to get the vehicle. I was not happy with breaking down.
I pass multiple Uhaul locations to come to this one and I always have a good experience.

Hard to say - the rental went excellent! The staff was courteous and helpful, very professional.

On the way back to drop off the truck, the engine light came on. Which caused me some concern and panic because I was alone at the time.

Tell customers to take survey texted/emailed to them before leaving. They told us only to note discrepancies and we didn't get the survey until 5 minutes after leaving, which was too late for a picture to show it was off

Have the girl at the front desk lose the attitude.
I had to wait for the customer service rep she was in the back doing something. When she finally came out like 10 minutes later she was pleasant and nice and help me get everything I needed

The truck could have been better cleaned BUT as a walk-in customer on a busy, booked weekend, the truck operated as expected and the front desk rep was kind enough to offer the rental as long as I returned ontime. Thank you! Happy holidays!
The black lady receptionist. Very rude and cold welcoming very poor service towards the clients
We were charged twice for our rental. Truck was clean but sounded like it was about to die. I'm honestly shocked that we were able to drive 120 miles with it without it breaking down. Pretty typical of my experience with renting from UHaul (this was my fourth rental) and there is ALWAYS a problem.
Customer services was horrible. I made every effort to be polite, unfortunately the employees did not. The app pick up process was not great, I had a hard time with the vehicle check. They did not contact me until I was on the road to have me complete it. The link they sent me did not work. When I went to return my uhaul, I asked what I was doing wrong..... The clerk replied with "we did it for you!" I replied with "Thank you so much, I was having a hard time with it." The clerk then stoped communicated with me, grabbed her radio, and advised the employee outside to meet me..... That was the extent of my conversation with the clerk..... I work for a large multi million dollar e-commerce company, I wont be using Uhaul for our transport needs going forward.
I feel the storage units should have a light inside so you can see and I discovered that previously my unit had a rodent problem because it was a device in there for that and I didn't like that. Also, I really didn't like the caucasian lady that work in the store with multiple hair color ( blue, yellow) she had a attitude. Sometimes you go in there, some employees finish their conversation and then say can I help you? Better customer service training.

Customer service was very poor I did not have a phone with me at check in and was given no information other then go on line to do your check out and check back in. The outside service person was more help checking out then the inside manager Upon returning I used a phone however only received errors on Uhaul.com after five error on your site I dropped the keys and left btacomajr@gmail.com

This is the second time I have rented a vehicle from this location and both times the staff were efficient, friendly, and following Covid protocols. The equipment was clean an well maintained and check out and check in were easy. My only complaint is that I didn't immediately receive my confirmation email after returning the vehicle after hours. I received the email 6 hrs later.

Did the Check In and Out via the U-Haul app. The vehicle was not in the spot the app directed me to, but I was able to find it. Furthermore it was not clear where exactly to park it. It also did not tell me what to do with the keys after dropping off the vehicle so I brought them inside.
Hello my name is janice Sanders i have a storage bin at the inkster Michigan company and the reason why I haven't sent payments is because i am on unemployment my intentions was to payments to keep my things there until I got a place and was depending on unemployment but they put a stop on unemployment to sift out the people who were criminals trying to scam unemployment its not just me it's a half of Michigan its all on the news and internet if u don't believe me i have hard copys of my unemployment i am also disabled from a mild stroke i had 2 years ago im unable to work i am pleading with uhal to not get rid of my things because it is all i have i promise as soon as i receive payments i will pay my debt in full i have recently received the uhal letters and i pray that u will understand please reach me at my email address if u have anything to ask thank you janice Sanders

I used a cargo van to bring home a new desk. That is all!! I returned the van the same evening 3 hrs later through their after office drop off return. The next day I received my invoice which had an up charge of $50 for a cleaning fee! It was absolutely not warranted! We did not carry so much as a piece of paper into the vehicle. Meanwhile my account was over drafted! After a 12 minute wait and Explaining the situation I received an email saying the funds will be returned. I am still waiting.
This location did a good job and saved the day! However the Trenton location I would absolutely not recommend. I booked a truck a month in advance and when we went to pick it up another customer hadn't returned it yet and they said there was nothing they could do. We lost 2 hours out of our day because of this and had to pay more in miles to go a further location.
This is a small point but very irritating: I have rented from this location twice now and returned a rental truck there another time. My experiences in the past have been fine and most of this one was, too. Here's the thing: I rented a truck that I only needed for a few hours and in fact returned it in 6 hours. At the time of rental, the agent asked me how many miles I thought I'd drive and I estimated 10 - a very local move. The charge was $52. When I returned the vehicle, the agent said $53 and when I asked why the difference, she said I'd driven 11 miles - and added 79 cents. I had even put in more gas than what I used ("we don't give refunds on over gassing"). 79 cents. It isn't the amount that bothers me, it's that a business has no concept of good will, let alone that the vehicle was rented for 6 hours for $52. Very disappointing.
Workers at this location are very pleasant and easy to work with. They should be proud of their top notch operation.

This is a tough question because the young lady that I work with was very efficient from the phone call to the time I walked in the door she had me in and out I loved it.

Everything was great
U HAUL Inkster facilities was clean and secure and had flexible hours. The staffs were also very friendly.
Several vehicles were out waiting for pick up/drop off. I walked around looking for an employee to help me find my vehicle. When I was about to send my son back inside for hello the young guy sitting in the bench watching me finally got up and told me look at the mileage to find the right one.
Wonderful experience..No problems at all...everything was like clockwork and very professional...again...the experience was great!!
The first vehicle (F150) the crew attempted to give to me had a bald rear tire. Thankfully, I did a careful walk around inspection and pointed it out to them. I't's not clear why three prep crew crew didn't notice this as they wiped down the Inside vehicle for COVID-19. Anyway, as a result of my discovery, I was given a brand new Chevrolet pickup with only 238 miles on it. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the replacement vehicle. Thanks U-haul!
After hours drop off was not well organized or easy to do. The website and app for returning the truck after hours kept crashing and not working on either android or Apple device. Took over 8 tries And over 30 minutes before success. The location would benefit from having a clear sign for key drop off.

Chameika, one of the clerks, was not very helpful in helping me to understand why I was quoted for the wrong size storage unit. She kept saying that it wasn’t her responsibility if the U-Haul call center staff made an error. I felt this was unacceptable because I had my movers waiting in the parking lot for her to reassign me a space, and when she did, she initially wanted to charge me for a higher-than-quoted-for rate. Very disappointing experience, especially since my experience renting a storage unit from this place in the past was impeccable. I emailed the manager, Shannon, in order to discuss this issue and am currently waiting to hear back from her.

I won't go into the overpriced facility. I was there far too long....and spent $5600.00 while there. There were other issues, but it is what it is.

On the phone I was told that I would be able to drive up to my unit. However, come to find out that is not an option after 6:55 p.m. I was also told it was an elevator which was not the case.
This Uhaul facility is great. Never had any problems.
This facility is one of the best ever used. Secure, clean and easily accessible during business hours. The staff was professional, but very friendly and always responded to any concerns positively.

I thought the Mgr Shanon was extremely help full with resolving issues on my rental unit. I’ve done business for many year with U-haul . The manager and staff of Inkster has insured my return .

My unit flooded and I’m awaiting my insurance adjustment voucher. So sad and inconvenienced. I’m very bothered by this whole encounter and having to pay every month for all my belongings to be ruined!

You said you could not deliver Upods as contracted because of broken truck. We were told to find/rent truck to get Upods. We refused as we’d paid for delivery. You figured it out. Added stress to day
The customer service at U haul in Inkster Mi was excellent very efficient on the phone and in person
entry cards should be improved it took several swipes before they activated the door to enter
Delivered uboxes and picked up empty ones in timely manner.
Found the employees to be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Very helpful in picking unit for my needs.
I was very surprised at the lack of follow up after (9) yrs. I closed out my unit, in-person on July 31st and the responsibility of management to close out the account "timely" wasn't carried out.

I didn't like the fact that I started at one price, to only have an increase in rate. I believe that my rate should have stayed the same as the original contract, being I never signed a new contract.

The lighting was horrible after 5 mins the lights in my unit would turn off and id end up trying to move stuff in the dark, falling and tripping and hurting myself. I will never use uhual ever again.
