This location exhibits not only horrible customer service and extremely poor communication, but beyond that, they've treated me dishonestly. Despite calling Uhaul corporate 5 times, submitting a dispute, sending that dispute up the line, and even calling RepWest (Uhaul's insurance partner) 3 times, the GM at this location is still pinning damage on me that I didn't cause. Here's how the story begins: I rented a van in late October. The staff pushed me to buy the collision coverage, which I figured would be worth it. I've never been in an accident, but anything could happenâ€"might as well be safe, right. The staff barely provided any direction, just gave me the keys and told me to follow the instructions on the app. No problem with the hands-off approach. I've rented uhauls before, and I can use the app easily. I take photos of 3 issues with the van that don't match the photos in the app. The app doesn't ask the user to take photos of the roofâ€"this is an important detail for later. I had the van for 5 days and parked in on the street at each destination. I don't have a garage at my new house or my current houseâ€"also an important detail. At the time of return, I notified the manager verbally that there were only 2 yellow tabs on the roof; it looked like there should have been 4 (two front, two rear). It had been windy and I'd parked under tree coverage, but I didn't drive the van into any garages or bridges or anything like that. I told her I just wanted to be transparent. I didn't know whether those rear tabs had been on the van when I picked up the van in the first place. I asked if she wanted to look at the van so we could assess it together. The back tabs were missing, but I didn't see any damage. Where they there before? I didn't have photos of the roof from the app assessment. She took the keys, but wouldn't actually go outside to survey the vehicle with me. She said her staff would just check everything out and I'd get a confirmation. So, I took 2 photos of the back of the roof just in case they tried to hit me with a damage issue. The photos show missing yellow tabs, but no roof damage. A month after I'd already returned the van (I kid you not...literally 30 days), the same manager calls to let me know that I owe $900 because of damages. She says tomorrow is the last day to process the claim. During the first call, she didn't outline the actual damages outside of saying the van needed new paint. She provided no photo evidence and nothing in writing. She's nice about everything and says she can drop the cost down to $700...still, this whole situation makes no sense. From my perspective, they're charging me $700 for two plastic tabs. I call Uhaul corporate. This takes an hour and 40 minutes total. They take down my notes. They mistake my photos from when I picked up the van (submitted through the app) for the damages that the manager is claiming I'm responsible for. During the same call, they realize those are photos I submitted. The manager hasn't submitted any photos. They tell me to call RepWest. The customer service rep tells me that RepWest handles claims and has the power to decide who pays, etc. I later find out that this isn't true. The manager calls me back the next day and drops the price down to $420. She tells me the original cost never included anything other than the "paint transfer" issues on the roof. Ok, sure...how did this drop from $900 to $420, exactly? Meanwhile, I have photos that prove there's no damage to the roof and I continue to state that any kind of paint transfer damage would have been present before I rented the van. I didn't enter any garage or have a collision with anything above me that would have caused paint from something to transfer to the roof. I call Uhaul corporate again. They say "a marketing department manager will call you." I haven't received any calls from Uhaul since (about 5 business days). I RepWest again. They confirm that they simply process the claim in whichever way Uhaul finalizes. RepWest doesn't make any decisions about who's responsible. So...Uhaul corporate has been giving me the run-around. Not great. I call Uhaul corporate again. They tell me that the manager has submitted notes stating that she has a video of me getting up on the rear entrance of the van and taking photos on the roof. Her notes also state that this is "proof" that I damaged the van's roof. Again, I took photos to protect myself from this exact situation. I noticed that the tabs weren't there when I dropped the van off. I also have these photos in my possession which show that there isn't any actual damage to the rear roof. To sum it all up: if you drive in windy conditions or if a yellow tab pops off (held on by a command strip or adhesive), even if Uhaul can't provide any photos of actual damage...they'll hit you up for an exorbitant amount of money ($900)...then lower the price if you dispute...without any real reasoning for why the price is changing. They'll fail to show you any proof that any damages were caused. They'll fail to actually allow you to submit evidence that damage wasn't present...and RepWest will auto-bill you for whatever amount that Uhaul (without actually listening to anything you have to say) deems fit. If something like this happens to you, do yourself a favor and just buy some 25 cent yellow tabs to glue up there. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in how this was handled. It feels scammy. It feels out of the realm of what I would have expected from this company as a whole. From what I can tell, this location does a poor job with vehicle transfer (intake and outtake); they don't actually assess the vehicles properly each time. So, if you find yourself in my position (i.e., the yellow tabs fell off) or if you notice any minor issues and report them, this location will attempt to pin many damages on you that were actually caused by previous renters. In my case, I believe that the manager was trying to pin the full $900 in damages on meâ€"including damages that I photographed of the interior at the time of initial assessment prior to taking the van off the lot. When the app photos proved that those couldn't have been caused by me, the manager's only retort was to try to pin the roof damage on me...which to this day...no proof of actual damage has even been shown to me. If a photo does get sent to me, how will I know that it's even the same van? Poor, poor management. All of this could have been avoided if the manager had simply assess the vehicle with me or if the app prompted me to take "drop-off" photos. Beware: take photos of everything in and outside of the uhaul before you take it off the lot. Then again, even if you do that, Uhaul corporate won't take a look at your photos or take anything you say seriously. I've rented with Uhaul a handful of times, but only once from this location. Not sure if this was just my lucky time to get screwed, but rent with caution :/

Nothing! I was extremely happy with the customer service I received, especially the manager Jill. She was very understanding and helpful when I needed to rent the truck for 1 more day to finish moving. The gentleman who checked me in today was also very kind and helpful. this is a newer U-haul location. The staff was omg so friendly! I had a few laughs as I checked out, which is rare nowadays. When I returned the truck they were quick, attentive, friendly, and professional! when I need to rent a truck I know where I will be going. WTG U-haul you got it right!!!!

Upon checking in to get the vehicle took us over an hour. We are used to the dealer driving the vehicle to the front door. We had to go out into the lot to find our vehicle. Then using the online check in..took pictures to show any damage such as dings, scratches or dents. When I tried to submit the program locked up and I got an error message stating that I took too many pictures. So the dealer had to cancel and reset the check in. So had to retake pictures again and tried not to take as many pictures and I don't get dinged for any scratches. The back of the truck didn't look like it gad been swept out. We went to use the blanket bundle, but their was no lock on the bundle. Most if the blankets were damp and one was so wet, it was unusable. Other than this everything went fine. Other than it took us longer than anticipated.

The only thing was I wasn't sure where to go when I walked into the store. Right inside the door was an office but that wasn't where I needed to go. There were no signs directing me and I could not see the desk due to the high pile of boxes in the middle of the floor.

When I pick the U-Haul up apparently you have a link you were supposed to go to before you leave the lot and the personnel failed to inform me of this link. Then when checking in the website to drop off the vehicle, it would not allow me to take a photo of the mileage in fuel level.
