UHaul has always provided (nationally) great functional equipment and a wide range of great products to help with a move, but national does not control local staffing. To say we were grateful and impressed for the Janesville staff would be a great understatement. Many thanks to them.

RENAE S.I did not appreciate reading a milage rate of $0,69 per mile online and then being charged at rate of $0,99 per mile because I rented the truck on a Friday with return on a Sunday. This to me deceptive advertising. I was not informed of the difference at the time I rented the truck and only discovered the difference when I thoroughly reviewed the contract at my home. I believe that I should have been immediately informed at the time I rented the truck. Further, I believe that this is a very poor policy and a rip off by UHaul. There is no need to add a 43,5 % milage rate increase on due to weekend use. Some of us have jobs and must work during the week leaving the weekend our only time to utilize UHaul. I have been a customer for several years I may now have to locate a new rental source. I suggest you re-examine your policy.

Well I said 8 we arrived at 8:30, and the girl said we have it for 7,5 hours? I would figure since it's paid we got it for the hours paid which was 8?? We brought it back 4,5 hours later with more gas than was needed and the guy said oh. Not thankyou, or we can give you a credit for next time or nothing so that all was a bit disappointing. But the woman who answered the phone call for the reservation of was very kind .

ahmed F.I reserved an appliance dolly online when I reserved the truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was informed they had no appliance dolly and hadn't had any in a long time. I didn't have time to make other arrangements. It made the move very difficult and dangerous. I will never use UHaul again. There are other options out there that I assume are reliable and actually have the equipment available that they advertise.

Lora S.When I arrived at the storage facility they did not have a reservation for me. After a half an hour of back and forth it turns out they had one available to accommodate me. The storage unit was all the way in the back of the facility and they would not allow us to pull up to the garage door to unload. We had to bring everything down two long hallways. There were no lights above my storage unit and the lights in the hallway were not close enough to illuminate the unit. The contract stated that it was a split level unit, it was not. When I asked the manager about it he said that a small area of about 4 ft was considered the split level area. The size of the storage unit was also smaller than what was stated in the contract. I was given a smaller unit than what I had reserved and charged more per month than I was quoted. I contacted customer service in May and never received a follow up call. I also mentioned it to the manager upon check in and check out and nothing was done to reimburse me or rectify the situation. I definitely will not be using or recommending UHaul for my future moves or storage needs.

Check equipment for hitch lock mechanism & electrical prior to client pickup. Location manager, Cody, is a great problem-solver. He is professional & patient with frustrated customers. A mechanical issue required his active listening, quick attention, & technical skills. Cody was generous, understanding, & accommodating. He would be an excellent mentor/trainer & is a wonderful customer service provider. Thank him for us!

Adam K.I had interaction with staff three times during this rental. I can't say enough great things about them. I know one of them was the manager and not sure the name of the other man. Very friendly , helpful and professional. I dropped off the truck right after closing hours . Because it had been a long day...I accidentally dropped my own keys in the drop box. Staff was leaving but came back to open the box and switch with me. My fault but they assisted me with a smile. In our world where customer service is lacking.............The Uhaul store has it ALL. Thanks for being there . A++++++ rating.

Keith L.The Uhaul app is just about unless. We had stopped in the U haul store location, for the reason of having some questions in determining size of trailer and trailer hook up. During the visit I had reserved the trailer size and for general time for the weekend. A email and text was sent to us, which linked us to the app. Loaded the app and created an account using same phone and email info for the reservation. Using the confirmation number, which was supplied in the initial emails and text, our reservation was no where found. I ended up, calling uhaul for assistance. They found the reservation for us to adjust the rental time. At drop off went to use the app for after hours and rental reservation was no where found. Why have a app or after hour drop off?
Corey J.Paid my storage bill May 19th June 1st moved out they refused to refund half of my money back and refused to let me put my lock back on to continue using it and then they wanted me to pay another month even though I was paid up until June 19th, they told me they cut my lock off the unit if I put it back on first of all that lock is my property not theirs and I paid for that storage unit until the 19th unacceptable very rude and disrespectful manager

I never left my storage unit and yet had to get it reassigned and now my email is being blown up every hour with an email stating to do the survey. It's the only reason I'm doing the survey right now is to stop all these emails.

I had originally scheduled a drop off at another location and UHaul made it pain free to change the drop off to the place we stored our belongings. They didn't even blink an eye. That was a total game changer for us. I would recommend them everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Fantastic experience. They made a stressful, emotional time and incredibly smooth transition. Would not recommend uhaul storage to anyone after my experience. My money was supposedly refunded but have not seen it on my credit card. kate f. | Expérience généraleI have had 3 recent contacts with the uHaul store in Janesville, WI on Milwaukee St -- I had a trailer hitch placed on my truck, rented a 6x12 trailer to pick up in Colorado and return to this location, and took advantage of the free 30 days storage. We frequently use this location for business matters and have always had good service. The staff that I dealt with during these transactions were exceptional. I was under the gun to get the trailer hitch placed - it was ordered 7-10 days out and still not in when promised - the young man I dealt with called around and found one in Love's Park, a CSA drove down there to pick it up, and they stayed late to make sure the hitch was properly installed. When I was contacted to say the hitch wasn't in, the young man had already come up with solutions and made sure that I knew he was doing everything possible to make this happen. When I returned the trailer and rented the storage unit, the process was quick and painless and he even backed the trailer up for me. :-) Couldn't have been more happy with how things went and the team I worked with! Well done!
