You can put a router box near the front door. It had me waiting to be approved over an hour and all because it said my location was off but I was standing at the lock boxes. Horrible pick up experience, mobile pick up not recommended unless an employee is there.Loretta P.

The online system did not work well at all, primarily because I indicated that I was going to pick up the truck during normal hours. No key was put out for me. Starting over with an in person check out took 45 minutes. It wasn't the fault of the clerk. But the process was a failure.JOSEPH B.

I called in attempting to rent for an additional day. The representative stated just to have back by 7 pm. I just got into a car accident that morning, and was too sore to move effectively, which is why I asked for an additional day. Due to traffic, I was 3 minutes after 7, all employees where leaving, and didn't respond to me. So, I started the return check in process, only for it to take a long time with no idea what I was doing. I got changed a second day, and if that was the case, to be billed for the extra day, and not be able to have utilized it. I had to rerent another truck!!!APRIL M.

The app for checking in to get the vehicle took 30 minutes to finally get thru it so I could get the vehicle!Brett L.
I reserved a 10' at a specific location then the day before I was picking it up the location changed to an hour from my original pickup . Then searched all surrounding pick up sites and not a thing available except a 20' truck still 40 min awayâ€¦on top of that, the website wouldn't let me edit my pick up or drop off location for my current reservation so I had to go through a whole new reservation process. I have used Uhal several times and am very disappointed.MARK H.

TWICE my U-Haul order was unavailable. I was promised 50 $credit I didn't receive which was told to me twice I'd receive it both conflicting waysâ€¦email and at pick up. Didn't get it. Insufficient check in people twice with long waits. Best condition truck so far but gas mileage was horrible.. Unless I get the credit promised I'll go elsewhere next time. Ridiculous to expect people to drive 60 miles one way to pick up a truck from another location. This online service sucks.LAURIE M.

Leaving the gas tank on EMPTY is not a good thing when you first receive the vehicle. And then asking to leave a 1/4 tank of gas when we didn't even RECEIVE that ourselves? Poor business management and customer service.TYLER G.

I recently purchased a new hitch and ball. The 2" ball had a 1 1/4" shaft. The facility did not have a wrench or socket to tighten/inspect the retaining nut for the ball. I was curious how they would have inspected any customer picking up a trailer? I spent 45 min running around town to locate a 15" crescent wrench to tighten the nut before I could pick up the trailer.David W.

I tried to reserve a trailer for Saturday at the Milwaukee street location. I checked up on it and they had me pick it up in Waukesha. I had them change it back. I then got a notice that I had to pick it up in whitewater. I drove up the Milwaukee St location and straightened it out with the worker. He checked with the manager and put a note in the reservation that I would pick it up there. When I arrived for pickup the guy at the desk said I had to pick it up in whitewater. Luckily the guy I felt with earlier was there and had the trailer there for me. It is always an adventure with U haul. Whatever your systems are, they are truly fucked up. I have little confidence in your company so I make sure to double check when it's important that I get a trailer. If it wasn't for the good people at the store your company would be a total shit show. It's up to upper management to figure their shit out and get their systems in place and not to rely on the front line employees to deal with it.FREDRICK B.

The place I was told to go pick up the trailer didn't have it after 45 min wait was sent to the Milwaukee street place pick up trailer and drove home and found out trailer had a lock on it drove back and pick up another which was not cleaned out drove home next morning 1 of the tires was low drove back and wanted the tire replaced was told they don't repair and I would have to wait 3 hoursBRADLEY S.

I rented a van on Sunday, but this location had only one employee working and it was very busy. She was friendly and helpful, but customers had to wait. I was given a van that hadn't been checked in from the last customer. It had only 3/4 tank of gas and still had a dolly and two packages of blankets in the back. I returned the van with a full tank but wasn't credited for the gas I didn't use. I tried to tell the employee but she said she was too busy and that she would not charge me extra. I'm not complaining about her; just the fact that she had no help.Pam B.

The return process was challenging to find. Nothing about process in the paperwork giving to me. Their needs to be a more clear click option on your website. Returning after hours! Click Once I figured it out by googeling what to do and got logged in. It was then easy to follow the instructions. The return took me almost 30 mins in your lot last night. It was a standard Uhaul experience. Self check-in is nice. Please make the accepting / verification process quicker. The electronic verification/ accepting took 4-5min to go through. Not sure if that's because it was a weekend morning? Also, the truck I was assigned was really, really loud when driving. It almost sounded like a Diesel engine!Chelsey D.

My Uhaul that I rented had starter issues I was told before taking itâ€¦. A couple times I had trouble starting the vehicleâ€¦ also I was told it was full of fuel and it wasn't which I took a picture. I filled the tank full when I brought it back and explained it to the lady at the counter which she said I would be compensated for filling up the truck and I didn't see I was compensated on my final billâ€¦â€¦TRAVIS S.

This is our favorite place locally for rental, we generally get a truck or 2 each yearDOUGLAS M.
However we were told to drop off the trailer at Woller True Value in Elkhorn Wi they would not accept trailer unless I could back into a very tight space. When I asked if he could move the van over he said if I couldn't back into that spot I had no business renting and to take back some place else or he calling the cops. We sat in his parking lot for over an hour trying to find another place. Finally they found Janesville which was along ways awayArvin P.
