The moving pads should not be a charged item. Additional mileage charge was dumb as I returned the vehicle on the same day. It should be per day rental not a "you have this many km included but we won't tell you that so we can charge you for going over that distance" The trucks should have a bungee area to secure the dolly to. I am disappointed. I am being harassed with emails and mails about bills that I didn't incur. I only used 1 storage space and I exited the space before it was due and I'm getting bills for another storage that your staff mistakenly added to my account. You need a bigger parking lot for you customers to park their cars. The truck was already a little dirty before we used it, not swept in the back. Doors were really hard to shut.CHRISTINE W.

My experience was amazing with Kingston uhaul service and Ottawa (Innes st). Kingston location was having difficulty with my order (of no fault of their own) due to my debit payment not going thru the way it should. The part of the app for returning a rental doesn't work as it will not allow a picture to be added. It opens the camera, take a picture and then nothing. Just loos around saying to upload image. Was not able to use it to return the rental. Calling the number at 8pm came on saying over 40 min wait to talk to someone.Jake W.

The 8 foot truck I rented was empty upon pickup and low on oil and the engine light was on. It was very frustrating to pick it up and then have to go get gas afterwards before a day of moving. Trucks should be gassed up and ready to go.Candida W.
The online booking/billing system is terrible. Like a bait and switch frames d where it keeps adding the insurance, adds 1 of every available packaging product and includes it in the bill. I eventually managed to rent the truck close with just an added 10 $appliance dolly. When I returned the truck and the the online return it added a 7 $utility dolly in addition to the 10 $appliance dolly. Any satisfaction in the vehicle was more than overshadowed by the constant dishonest attempts by uhaul to increase my bill. I did comment that I disagreed with the return charge but have not heard back. Not the fault of the location but if Uhaul in general. I hope this review helps you correct your deceitful practicesSEANDM T.

I was told that when dropping off after hours to leave the keys in the drop box. When I arrived I noticed after dropping the keys off that there is an app/website to go to complete the process. Unfortunately, part of that process requires that you have photos of the odometer and fuel level. At that point I had already locked the truck which made it impossible to get the photos. Some clearer direction at the point of purchase could have prevented this issue.DEREKB S.

The worst customer experience possible. Staff disconnect the phone and then have the temerity to say the inability to reach them is not their problem and to blame the home office call centre. I do not recommend this location at all, it is staff by a bunch of entitled punks.ALEXANDRUC S.

We had arranged to drop the trailer off at the Steve Fonyo Drive Caraco Storage Solutions location but the person there would not accept the trailer as he had too many already. We had to go to a different location where we were well looked after but we weren't terribly impressed that we were refused service at the original drop off location.JILL G.

The Princess St location was not the problem. My.contract was to drop at the Steve Fonyo location and when we arrived were told we had to drop at Princess St. This inconvenience was no communicated in advance which is unacceptable, wasted our time and was met with an unprofessional attendant who told us he didn't get paid enough to argue with me. I explained my agreement was to drop there and he said I would be charged extra and that it must have been changed to accommodate another customer. Why is this my responsibility!? The entire experience was brutal!!! Most of the issues could have been avoided with communication in advance. There was no accommodation for us, or consideration for our time. We will not recommend U-Haul to anyone and will be sure to share my experience with all our friends and family, and so on. Very disappointing.STEPHENA R.

While completing my mobile check out I went to the van indicated on my phone. While I was sitting in my assigned van and waiting for my mobile pickup verification, an employee rudely told me I was sitting in the wrong van and I needed to get out because he rented this van out to someone else. My mobile pickup was then canceled and I had to go into the station to complete the checkout anyway. What should have been a 5 minute process took 40 minutes.Ryan P.

When I dropped the truck off, the staff were busy and said that they would just take the keys and email the final bill later. It is reasonable for customers to expect to have matters concluded in their presence so that if there are issues they can be witness to them or explain why they shouldn't be charged (for example I took videos of the fuel levels and tidiness when I picked it up). To their credit, when I indicated that I would wait for the final bill to be generated but that they should not feel rushed, they obliged and we're very quick at checking the truck back in.PHILIP C.

Your trucks are all in miles not kilometers so it's pretty hard for somebody that doesn't know how to translate miles into kilometers to understand. Because last time I rented a truck from you guys at U-Haul at the destination where I went I was 20 miles under and she gave me money back this time I was 20 miles under any charge me 20 $extra. What you should be doing is when someone goes in to pick the truck up in Kingston or somewhere in Canada give him the church showing what miles is in kilometers so people don't go over and get charged extra put that right in there portfolio thing you give them when they take off and do the destination so they know that's the only thing with all your cars being in miles or trucks being in miles when you look at the speedometer and look at the destination and look at where you've gone it's hard to convert it overRANDY A.

Hello, The Storage unit was clean and I did not have any problem. But for three months they were charging me extra money and the manager instead of fixing the issue was insulting me that they did not charge me extra money until I called Uhaul customer service and they open a case for me and fixed the issue. When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered.
