The transmission was terrible and when I called your support line said I should pull over and call mobile repair. There really should be a discount for such an awful vehicle. Dangerous long time to get up to speed on a highway.

Gave me wrong lovker at first your web site is vomfuding and misleading info but moral of story... guy corrected mistake. I was not upset on pricing just gave me wrong locker is all from what i reserve.. great unit...i thought slip leval was the locker with a shelf...not upstairs downs stairs split level a gew stairs does not matter to me..

I was happy with the location but very unhappy to receive a call just as I was turning into the location explaining the trailer was double booked and I had to wait until later that day. Super unhappy that I was offered nothing in return after driving 20 minutes only to be turned away.

It was smooth. Rental pickup was easy and quick. Drop off even more easy and quick. The staff were friendly and excellent. The half ton was clean and in excellent running condition and the appliance dolly worked as expected!!! No negative comments nor any improvements to suggest. Keep up the good work!!!!!

There was such a strong scent in the van, that I had headaches and had to drive with the windows down for two days even in the rain. I am not scent-sensitive and this was unbearable. It seeped into my clothing, hair and belongings that were in the van. It was a fake cleaner/air freshener type fragrance and for this reason I will not rent another uhaul from this location.

I rented a trailer to haul tree trimmings to the local recycling center and had a very good experience. The trailer did the job well and the three staff members who assisted with the rental were knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this location to others.

Have all equipment available. I had booked two dolly's and they were not at the location. I was told to get them at the location where I was dropping off the vehicle but they were not there. In fact we were met with rudeness and contempt.

Staff denied usage of said storage unit stating I would take advantage of the free month. They stated that policy was to only honor the free storage at the destination. The destination doesn't have a storage facility.

They canceled my truck with less than 12 hours of notice!! And I was offered a location 100 km away!! They shouldn't have allowed me to book a truck when they don't have any available truck! (I booked another truck for 1 September 1 month beforehand, but I booked another one for for 31 August and cancelled my first truck couple of days before this date and I was supposed to have a car as it was available!) And not to notice me less than 12 hours that they don't have a car! Totally unsatisfied.

They gave me a truck that was almost on empty on gas, I was driving it home and the gas light came on, I filled up over 100liter of gas in it and it was returned with 3/4 tank. I spent $170 in gas and they won't refund me. Also the wheel was not aligned properly, driving it on the highway from Kingston to Ottawa was a challenge. Wiper blades were cheap and small,l. Over all experience was bad and I hope to get some of my gas money back as this is a rip off.

I had some issues with the truck I got. Out of a sudden, I wasn't able to get the key out of the ignition after shutting down the truck.

I rented the truck for 9 hours as I was moving someone from Ottawa to Kingston. When I picked up the truck I was told I had to have it back by four. When I arrived in Ottawa I had a moment to look things over and realized that I was only given 8 hours. When I called in the person on the phone didn't care and said the manager would call me and they never did. I had to rush to make the timeline until have me. It should not have been my fault that you double booked. The seat was broken and I couldn't move it so I had to reach to try to press on the gas pedal. Not a pleasant experience

The price to rent after paying mileage makes the cost horrendous and really a rip off. Fooled by the $19,95 advertising, would not recommend anyone to rent a uHaul at all!!

When we went to pick up the trailer, it had been backed onto a tow dolly. Metal latch for lock was broken (metal cut away) so there was no way to secure the back, which we were unaware of until we had filled the trailer. When we were loading the truck we realized one of the tires was completely flat - we had to go straight to a gas station to fill the tire.

1) The front bumper lost the nut to hold it on... one side of the bumper came lose and was hanging down, hitting the ground as we drove! 2) It rained and water got inside the box.. front left corner, some of our moving things then got wet. 3) Reported this to the drop off guys.. and He replied "we advertise water resistant, NOT WATER PROOF". He really DID NOT CARE!

The on-site staff at this location were very friendly and helpful. My only contact point of “concern” was the call centre representative that I spoke with when I had a couple of questions regarding my reservation. She was rather curt and seemed frustrated that I was even asking questions. Instead of actively listening to my actual question, she cut me off and made me feel badly as if I was wasting her time and somehow should know all of the same information that your employees do. Had she simply listened and clarified my question from the get-go, it could have been answered at the outset with one simple phrase. Again, the on-site staff were so friendly that my experience with the call centre representative just stood out as an anomaly and a coaching opportunity.

RETURN LOCATION LISTED ABOVE IS WRONG!!!!!! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN??? Returned the trailer the following day to the same location with no one onsite. The next morning after checking my credit card statement online, I did not receive my credit for changing from one way to intown rental, but I had almost $1000 charged to my credit card. Called this morning and found out my return was checked-in over 400 km away from where I returned too. I have time and location stamped pictures of my return, but now I have to wait up to 3 days for an investigation??? I would never recommend this location or U-Haul to anyone. I AM DEMANDING A FULL REFUND ON THE ORIGINAL RENTAL AND THE ERROR!!! I WILL HAVE VISA INVESTIGATE AS WELL.

Parking is an issue and we learned the hard way what a split level was (nothing to do with the locker, but the location of the locker - upstairs), other than that we were satisfied.

I paid for the storage unit, added items into the unit locked it and left. The next afternoon I return to the unit and find a lock from uhaul on the door that says I haven't paid my fee. So I proceed to front counter and show my receipt for it being paid and was let into my storage unit. This was very inconvenient to say the least. I do not see how paying 216 is worth being locked out of my unit the next day, this needs to be remedied or I will leave the facility and find somewhere else to use for storage. Is anyone going to make this better ?

when working/sorting things in our storage unit 1813, the hallway light often went off and made it pretty dark in there. wish the sensor lights stayed on a bit longer. I also found it a bit challenging accessing the entrance for unloading/loading. Access cards would be so much handier than walking-in the main office when staff are often so busy or not available.

I am disappointed. I am being harassed with emails and mails about bills that I didn't incur. I only used 1 storage space and I exited the space before it was due and I'm getting bills for another storage that your staff mistakenly added to my account. Please stop harassing me with bills and talk to the staff at the Kingston location.

Hello, The Storage unit was clean and I did not have any problem. But for three months they were charging me extra money and the manager instead of fixing the issue was insulting me that they did not charge me extra money until I called Uhaul customer service and they open a case for me and fixed the issue. Do not accept any pre-authorized payment. Merci.

When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks

Confusing as to why the u-haul system requires 3 phone contacts and 2 addresses to rent a storage room. Alternatively phone contacts I understand, but a 2nd address does not make sense. Staff was very helpful in the setup process overall!

The parking lot is often difficult to maneuver; sometimes the rental trucks and trailers almost block the entrances to the storage unit area. This makes it hard to park close to load and unload.

When logging in i see 'Next rent due: (date) 0$. the charge appears 1 day after the due date. So when i log in before the date I assume 0 is due, but then incur late fees as rent show AFTER due date,

We had rented a storage unit in Kingston 6 months ago as well as a truck to first get the items there and again to transport everything to the new apartment. Everything went very smoothly. Merci!

Got instigated about smoking the vehicle when explained I wasn't smoking in It, a young guy looked at me and said are you sure you weren't smoking darts. Not impressed at all.

Since there is a 200 character limit all I can say is that after my experiences I will never recommend u-haul to anyone nor will I use it ever again. It's prettu clear no one knows how to do their job

Used location twice over the last 13 yrs.Moved out & was indicated that I would get a partial refund (by Mgr) for pretty much a month's rent.No contact from U-haul despite calling/Email them.Disapp'd.

The truck felt like I wouldnt make it across the street. Dangerous steering column. Poor brakes. The staff are cold too customer and each other. Not one smile or a thank you. I felt sad for them

Staff at the facility seemed overwork and were always in a rush. I was never given a clear path between my u-box and my vehicle. I had to move around obstacles each time.

Overall U-Haul storage facilities are great. Clean, secure and welll maintained. I never got the after hours code so I was not able to access the facility. I only need this once so not an issue.
