Was not familiar with drop off ask two people for help they walked off especially the lady the man cleaning the truck never even responded finally I figured it out and someone came out and said they'll mail receipt but at least he was friendly

Trying to get a hold of the correct person for these uboxes was very difficult. Each time I called I would get different answers and be transferred to different people. It's VERY frustrating. I believe I spoke to about 6 different representatives each time I tried to get information about my boxes or to pay my shipping and arrange for them to be delivered to us after they had been in storage for a little while. Way to many numbers to call to get where I needed to go.

I’m glad I gave this location a chance. I was a little skeptical and nervous due to some of the negative reviews and after having a bad experience at another U-Haul location. However, sometimes you have to take a chance and hope for good and this time it paid off. Everyone at this location were great! I used my app to check in and check out. The app was acting up and the young black man helped me right away with a smile and pleasant attitude. I wish I had his name. He was so polite and professional and friendly. I truly appreciate him because I was so stressed out and frustrated at the app and moving. He made it not so bad. Then the return was very easy! Again the app acted up but I was able to fix the problem myself and the return young Hispanic man was very attentive. He made returning easy and stress free. Great staff and great people at this location!!! Thanks guys for making picking up and returning a breeze! I would recommend this location In Lewisville, TX for all your moving needs! ??

Terrible customer service. I was overcharged. They provided 6 day rental and still charged me for that 6th day. UHaul has gone down big time. Penske and Budget have won me over for my next rental. They are less expensive and are willing to work with you. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with UHaul.

The service itself was fine. They were dropped off and picked up at reasonable time. But a month after we got to our final destination and had unpacked the u boxes and had them picked up, we were charged for the storage of them ($350). Through our whole experience I have had the hardest time talking to the actual location we were dealing with and was passed around and around to multiple people, always someone else’s problem. They kept asking if I was sure that the uboxes were not at my home. What??? This was no different. I was able to eventually get an email about a refund coming my way but never was able to talk to someone to figure out what actually happened. 2 days after getting an email about the refund (which had not even hit my bank account yet) I was charged for the storage AGAIN. I called and asked and asked to be put through to the location because everyone I talked to said I had to talk to the actual location but no one could ever get a hold of someone there. I was given direct numbers that I tried and tried and no matter what I tried I always ended up somewhere else. I randomly got another email saying there was another refund and “sorry for the inconvenience, the boxes have been moved”. Again, what???? All I needed was to talk to the manager at the location and make sure this wasn’t going to keep happening and make sure I was getting my now $700 back. Impossible. Won’t be using them again. I know everyone is busy and it’s never convenient to take care of this kind of stuff, but I spent hours waiting on hold with my 2 little kids crying for my attention only to be passed around and then receive vague emails. Especially about something that sounds like me paying for empty uboxes to be stored? I still don’t even know. Apparently I will have to drive to the location and talk to someone in person to get any answers. Do better uhaul.

Tamesha and her staff are too notch! When I arrived I was tired and grumpy to be honest. The CSR didn't make an appointment for me to have access to my box. Her and her staff went above and beyond to make my box available to me. Highly recommend this location. Tamesha deserves a promotion!! Thank you!!

My wife reserved a small truck, but instead they gave us a cargo van, which meant we had to take an extra trip. On the phone they told us that we could not return the vehicle after hours, but when I picked it up they said yes, of course we could return it after closing. Of the 4 employees on site when I came by, one was plodding around, another was noisily goofing off, the manager was nice and helped me but kept complaining that her shift was over and she was supposed to be elsewhere. Well, OK, thanks for helping me, but I would like it better if you just did your job without trying to guilt me out. Only one employee, a lady with short grey hair, seemed to be working hard to take care of the customers. Equipment was OK, but customer service was a mess.

Properties were clean and representatives polite, the individual U-Haul dealers have all been polite and helpful. What can U-Haul do to improve for the next customer? All vehicles should have regular, full maintenance (not just quick checks at local dealers) with a maintenance log that follows each truck and is made available to every U-Haul dealer and costumer to assure safe and uneventful trips for each and every costumer. Regular maintenance, similar to that require by other professional truck companies, would help alleviate issues of the aging fleet of trucks owned by U-Haul. (and according to sources in the company, there are more of them in use that should not be used for cross country trips - so renter beware, ask for the age of the truck you are renting and the last full maintenance that it received) It would also be wise for every area U-Haul center that must respond to breakdowns to be well stocked with all necessary replacement parts so that it isn't necessary for mechanics to pull parts form other vehicles in an emergency, especially at night and on weekends. And one last thing - listen to the mechanics who are on the scene of a breakdown - don't tell them to keep trying. It does no good to try to beat a dead horse (or truck) if they say they can't fix it on scene, believe them and send a tow. The vehicle that we rented broke down and we ended up on the side of the road for 9 hours waiting for 5 hours for a mechanic to show up and another 4 for him to try to fix the problem. - and that is with us telling him what was wrong, no guessing - it wasn't and easy switch the battery. The battery light was blinking on and off because the alternator was going out. It didn't take long for the battery to go out and the truck to lose power once the alternator quit working. We lost a complete day because roadside service would not give us a replacement truck but insisted that it could be fixed in the dark with a part that had to be taken off another vehicle and put on the truck that we had. When the Mechanic arrived (two hours later than the time we were given because he had to pull the part from the other truck) and then worked for 3 and a half hours trying to put things back together I finally insisted that we get a tow, (something that he told headquarters that we needed when a part was not available to begin with and several times when he called and told them that he couldn't fix it under the circumstances). When I spoke to David on the phone, I told him I was done with waiting and that I demanded a tow, a new truck and movers to transfer the load to the new truck, he insisted that there was no need to do that because it would be fixed quickly once the truck was towed in. He told me that a mechanic would be waiting with the extra parts to fix it and we would be on our way within a short period of time.The truck was towed and dropped off but no information from roadside service was given to the manager at the new lo
