Haven't been here long enough for anything but initial impression but everything seems to be very good for my purposes. I have no idea about the access hours and this is important to me. I've been preoccupied with the move here and my residence and peripheral issues.

Need to check the fuel tank , cause they say was in middle tank gas , but he was not , and I was not going inside back again to complain for 5$ of gas … that’s is all ,5 stars anyways

The equipment arrived to the destination and was 7 qts low in oil and most of the to other fluids were low. We had the uber, from the airport to one location, walk to another location 20 min away, and then drive to a third location to pick up two trucks The uhaul software initially invalidated my second reservation - probably because it perceived it to be a redundant booking. Reserved hand trucks were lost in the reservation.

I wasn't addressed properly at the counter by Deborah. After I asked to rent a truck she held a personal conversation with a coworker for 5 minutes as if I didn't exist. The gentleman who took my truck back also wasn't polite. This was my first experience at a UHaul location and it will be my last.

More lighting in storage area

I received a U-Haul with little gas in it… the light was on and said 33 miles to empty. I returned to Lewisville corporate store with 49 miles to empty they charged me for 8 gallons of gas at $36,50. The whole truck only took me $75 to fill it in El Dorado Arkansas for 31 gallons…. So 0,12 of a tank (what customer service said I had) is not 8 gallons. Just totally disrespectful for your customers

I've been using U-Haul for about 17 years. Every truck I've picked up, there are always the rented equipment and the furniture pads. My truck had nothing in it. The app never mentioned that I needed to go inside to pick that stuff up. When I walked inside I asked if I got a dolly and furniture pads. The guy that helped me said there were no dolly's. Then the older lady that was standing right by him said, "We don't have any anymore dollys it's not gauranteed that you will have one available to you. At the same time the younger employee has a smirk on his face as if something was funny which I still don't understand. I asked what should I do thinking that the lady would have the knowledge of other options or ideas. Something like, checking another location for me or something else. The lady didn't do anything. There was a dolly sitting in the middle of the sales floor not being used. When I asked them about it, the lady said, "oh you can have that one. The person that rented said they no longer needed it." I hate it when an employee says something of "that's policy." It's as if they don't want to help. If I would have been able to I would have canceled my whole order and gone somewhere else. I never want to go to this horrible place and the employees should have more respect for their customers. It makes a big difference if an employee says, "let me help you find options" rather than just saying, "this is policy."

The location was fine, my issue is that my pickup location changed the day before it was scheduled! Not only was this a major inconvenience, but not necessary. I booked 30 days in advance only to have to spend an extra hour traveling to get the truck! I wasted more time on the phone trying to make changes that was not done correctly. THEN, after having to travel an extra hour to get the truck I find out that the truck I rented was at the original location and available! So, I have wasted time x2. Then I was told that YOU have to connect the car carrier to the truck. When I returned the next day to get the car carrier, the res was still at the WRONG location. After MORE wasted time on the phone and with the pick up location I find out that I have to hook up the car. I will say that the individuals I worked with were helpful and acknowledged these issues, that happarently happen often.

I received excellent customer service at this location. Called weeks prior to rental date and was provided with courtesy customer service over the phone and given direction that would help me to easily locate. On pick up date, the representative (Keenan) was very helpful with information about return (logistics), walked out with my driver to assist with locating the truck (several on lot) and suggested the best supplies and equipment for truck size.

I rented the truck from the I-35E location on Sunday 9/22. I had gone there on th 18th and they confirmed everything would be there specifically the appliance dolly. Upon arriving on the 22nd the dolly was not there. I had to drive to the 121 location for the dolly. The 35E location didn't seem to care. I will never go to the 35E location in Lewisville again!

Allow customers to contact the uhaul dealer directly. The phone customer service got me the wrong trailer. I had to pay more or a much bigger trailer. I just needed the taller 4x8 trailer. So I had to pay $190. I should have taken my own trailer from Del Rio to Lewisville.

Bad experience in Texas. I will NOT use uboxes again. I WAS CHARGED FOR TWO NO LATCH YOU BOXES AND SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF TIME TRYING TO RESOLVE THAT ISSUE. AVERY IN MONTANA WAS EXCEPTIONAL! SHE DELIVERED AND PICKED UP WITH GREAT PROFESSIONALISM! SHE DESERVES A RAISE!

They gave me a truck with broken air conditioner to drive in Texas heat. Cup holder was broken so you could not keep a cold drink in the cab either. Got pulled over in Blanco Texas for a license plate light not working.

Overall the experience was great and would recommend this to anyone moving across the country. I would recommend that the pod tracker be updated more frequently, it was not updated that my pod arrived to Montana until days after it arrived and it was not very accurate.

Had all of our household stuff stored there for almost 2 years while doing an out of state move. Very clean our furniture and the rest of our household was just like the day we put it in. The people that work here are very accommodating fantastic to work with and a smile on their faces. It was so good to have a business that is there for their clients. A plus all the way and highly recommend them

For someone who needs a storage unit and has never been (spoiled) by better aesthetics and service(from a different uhaul location) this is an "okay" location. The BEST customer service in the handful of years I have EVER received at this location, was the day I closed my storage unit; not even from the day I opened it, which was an awful mess.

I’ve had storage units with Uhaul so long I can’t remember I’ve rented so many trucks and trailers I can’t keep count I have two different Uhaul offices here in Lewisville and both counters are very friendly and professional to work with- I sure would like a discount for a truck to drive one way to Tampa Florida for a two bedroom house

When I rented unit 224 I was offered 1 month free from renting a trailer to move back from Working in Pennsylvania on March 13th. I was told I had to pay for April to move in. I paid April & moved in. The unit had dirt & trash inside the unit & outside from a bad door seal & located in the corner. April 13th my Debit card was charged again for April & wasn't supposed to be billed until May 13th. I Called the main office from online# & the lady agreed ì shouldn't have beeen charged. I called the store on the 14th but was told the manager was out until Monday but would call me back. Donnie never did call back. I went to the unit on the 17th & when I opened the door it the floor & all my stuff & bed was covered in dirt, trash & mice & rat feces. The manager Donnie went to the unit & told ne he would find another unit or credit me . After several days he offered to repair the door and Clean up or I could move to another unit. Never did follow-up with crediting the double charge. On Friday 21st I moved to another storage facility but Donnie was not available Nor returned my call. I have disputed The duplicate charge & Asking for April to be prorated from 13th to 21st and credit by bank account.

The only thing I have to complain about was when they parked their storage box hauling truck in a space that made it difficult for me to maneuver my 42 ft 5th wheel camper around, especially backing in. There was a much less obstructive place to park it in the corner as opposed to right in the middle where myself and other people needed to get around.

My satellite trailer was in storage for over 7 years. Unit 1401. Recently it was vandalized and the manager was unable to provide video footage to assist me. The Antennae mast and very expensive commercial WiFi radio were stollen. They simply cut all the bolts and took everything including heave duty power cable with the trailer. Also the gate was wide open and didn't function for the last week it was there. Up until this time I was comfortable, but then realized afterward that it was very unsecure. I won't recommend your facility.

I came in very frustrated due to another uhaul location renting me a unit that was unavailable, someone else's items were still being stored. The staff at Uhaul of Lake Lewisville were extremely courteous and helpful. They set me up with a new unit so that I could move in immediately which was a relief given I drove 2 days from Virginia and had movers with me. In the end it worked out because this U-Haul location was immaculately clean and felt more secure than the other location.

1. Well lit yes. Not Secure after I was allowed to exit by UHaul staff coming out to release me it still showed me inside. I went inside to better understand being locked in. I asked the staff to show me as out they told me that stuff is never accurate. Therefore anyone can be inside and it is not secure, 2. Not convenient when held prisoner behind gate without ability to exit. 3. Not convenient when must wait 15 minutes on phone to asked yo be let out. Then 20 minutes inside office waiting to find out why I could not exit. 4. No rude especially when I was closing out my account. 5. Rats tore up bed wrapped in plastic (bed trashed), ate bottom of furniture, urinated on bench (bench trashed). Had to wipe down hard surface furniture with bleach. I will have to sort through papers, & photo boxes outside with rubber gloves. I closed after 6 years due to rats and being locked in behind gate. Unable to resolve before rating because no one is available. Excuse for everything. New owners. I was told to get new access. I was not. Even with new card unable to get out and one access gate doesn't work.

Fix the f*cking gate guys. Its veen weeks at least, that I know of. Totally unacceptable. We have work to do. We don't want to come and mess around begging the office to open the gate every time. Absolutely unprofessional at the highest level.

Went by the store the other day to get propane, and the front door was locked at 11 am in the morning on a weekday. Not the first time this has happened.

The facility appears to be clean and well maintained but it is completely infested with rats. Our belongings were soiled and destroyed by rats. I am very disappointed that the manager did not suggest another facility since she was aware that we were storing personal belongings and not machinery. We were refunded 2 months rent of our 14 months in an effort to make amends but it did not equate to the damage and loss.

I have the poor rating on recent experience. I had the storage for four years without any problems. It was excellent up until about August. Sometime between August 28th and October 15th someone attempted to break into my trailer. The office staff told me I could contact the company that monitors the cameras for information on who did it. The monitoring company told me because I didn't have their insurance they couldn't assist. Then, when I went into the office to check out yesterday, the male that was at the desk told me he could not check me out. He said I had a $148 balance due to my credit card declining the past two months. I told him I have been paying my bill through the app and there was no balance showing of any kind. He again told me he could not check me out due to the balance due. I asked for a print out of the balance. He again told me he could not check me out. I again asked for a printout showing a balance. He laid a paid bill showing checked out of the counter. I don't know if he thought his totally unprofessional behavior was funny or he was trying to scam me out of money. Either way, it was a horrible representation of U-Haul.
