The location was not the problem. The location was great and saved the day. The customer service who booked our reservation messed up. They did not have a truck reserved for us. Made the reservation a one way when it was not.
reno M.We made a reservation one hour previous to pickup and never got a confirmation, until next day,and when finally someone answered my phone call after 15 min they find out with the reservation number that the lady on the phone who made the reservation wrote the wrong phone number and made the reservation to the wrong location, and that pit us back half of the day on the moving

Verna J.The destination location trailer inventory & the ubox delivery schedule need to be tied together in your software. It allowed the corporate group to schedule a ubox pickup with a moving help partner when there was no ubox trailer available. The ride shares had taken all but 3 from the ft Walton beach location. My move was delayed a day & I had to take off work to move due to this issue. Please fix. Not sure I'll use uhaul next time if this hasn't been fixed due to timing not being dependable on the back end.

After calling to pay and schedule, i received a text minutes later saying they were unable to get ahold of me to schedule a time. I called back immediately and the lady said no they just needed more information and they would call me the day before to schedule a time. When that day came, the day was almost over and I had not heard from anyone so I called. I spoke with another lady who then said they tried calling me to schedule a time days ago (that same day I called back) but wasnt able to get ahold of me. Everytime I called I received a different answer from people. They had bad attitudes and the manager Kayla wasn't much better. Not helpful, no apologies for the misinformation, no accountability whatsoever. Terrible service and I will NEVER use U-haul again. I'm obviously not valued as a customer so why give my money to a company like this...

roy B.Greg at this location did his best to make a horrible Uhaul experience tolerating. This reservation was originally set for another location and while I was waiting in line at 8:35am to pick up the truck I received a call from U-Haul telling me that my truck was no longer available. I was confused, because when I made the reservation 24 hours earlier the U-Haul representative confidently explained that the truck reserved for me was not under another other reservation and was onsite at pick up location. U-Haul offered no other explanation but did locate another truck 20 miles out of my way. I requested to return the truck to any location more closely located to my home and the original reservation and was told that would not be possible. Greg called his supervisor to ask for special consideration based on the facts that U-Haul was at fault with no luck. So, from no fault of my own, I had to drive 40 miles round trip out of way to pick up and return a truck which cost me more in mileage and gas. This is just horrible customer service, and yes I was offered a $50 credit but that does not cover the cost and travel time to pick up and return this truck. The only reason I made this reservation is because my daughter made a reservation 2 weeks ago for April 30th pick up at 8:30AM and received a call on 4/29/22 notifying her the pick-up time was being moved to 2:00pm. Poor communication and just a complete lack of empathy for those who are left to deal with the stress of last minute changes that were not caused by their changes, but by poor U-leadership.

One of the dolly taillights did not work, Before this incident, I had previously used this location without any problems

Tony H.I called and a guy with a English accent was really professional and polite. He informed me my uhaul rental would be at the Lewisville location. Upon arrival there was no one in the store. There was only one person working. And when he finally decided to come back in he didn't even acknowledge my or my stepsons presence. So after about ten minutes of waiting he was free from helping a person (I think?) I told him my reservation number and gave him my name and he had no clue what I was talking about. He even spoke to me as if I was an idiot and didn't know where I was despite the fact that I can follow directions quite well. Then I am informed that there are no Dolly's to use and that if I needed one I would've had to buy one. Even though the gentleman I spoke with over the phone prior to coming here said I could rent one. Then as I get in the truck I noticed the gas gauge and that It wasn't quite Full. But I didn't care at this point as I only had a few hours to move and I was just glad I got away from the uhaul building and employee. When I went to drop the truck off another woman was also dropping a different truck off and so she spoke with me and said the employee had also given her grief. And that's me being polite and not using her words which weren't exactly pleasant comments. I could get past all this had I not gotten an email the following morning regarding my final reciept. I was charged more than what I was quoted for. Which did upset me but it set my mindset for the future. In case you haven't understood my review, I will NOT be returning to this location or maybe even uhaul in general. This experience was one of the worst I've had in a while. If this is the way uhaul treats it's customers then I will have no part with them, nor will I use their services in the future. With all that said I still wish you the best. Maybe someone can fix the issues that are going on with that location. Thanks and have a blessed day.

The service has went down as well as the overall cleanliness of this location...The restrooms are horrible...I walked to QT several times because of how dirty the restroom was..The units haven't been swept nor moped in months...I'm in the process of combining my units and I found mice dropping...Unacceptable...I've been in these units for several years and this is the 1st that I've experienced any type of issues..I can tell that the store manager has changed...Things need to change quickly...

albert C.The customer service agent started off friendly, but they did not have enough furniture blankets for my reservation, she told me she would give me some of the new ones, I would just return them, but she only had 10, I requested 24. or she told me I could go to another store and pick them up, which was not an option, as I was on a time crunch. Then when she printed my contract, the rate for the blankets went up from $20 for 24 to $32 for 10. I told her that it wasn't correct, I wasn't going to pay more for less. Then she rolled her eyes, had to make a call, which she did on speaker and it was obvious that she was annoyed. She then loudly said she should have just gone home. I know that this young lady felt as if she was doing something "nice" for me, but I had a reservation, if it wasn't available, there should be another solution offered. The truck had very worn tires, the suspension was pretty much gone. The tank was 1/4 full. The truck didn't feel safe at all and we had to make an 8 hour drive. I never received a thank you, good bye, safe travels or anything...she handed me the contract and walked away. I asked another employee if I was good to go. He told me yes. I wasn't rude, I was matter of fact, I told her I wasn't trying to be difficult, I just wasn't going to pay more for less. I am a professional sales manager, I would have been horrified if an employee behaved in the manner of the sales clerk. She was very pleasant until I challenged her on the rate, than her entire demeanor and personality changed. Very unprofessional. I know that you don't often have repeat business, but you never know which customer comes in that has influence over others and gives referrals. I am a divisional sales person for senior living, I have 61 locations all over the southern part of the country, with about 7400 apartments, we give moving company referrals all of the time. I certainly wouldn't refer anyone to Uhaul from this experience. I have had previously had great experiences with Uhaul, this is an exception.

Also, the vehicle number given to me was blocked by another vehicle, so I still had to go inside to resolve the issue. However, the staff was polite and helpful. They took care of everything, and even adjusted my time. I brought the car back an hour later and the courteous employee told me that was okay and there would be no extra charges. I received my updates charges go email. I would recommend U-Haul to others. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and affordable.

And I had a key that didn't work, it was a Hassan going to the office explaining the situation since it should have been told to me.? I'm not sure what kind of people who are working for those company but communication and listening skills are needed. So I'm glad I don't have anything else in storage and when I told the young lady I was closing the unit she said she would send me information to me by email that she has closed the unit I didn't get anything. Worst service I have encountered.

She said I never did and let the bill accumulate for months to where I had to pay over 1,000$ to get it back when I was led to believe that it's was only the late fees so I can get it out..Why would I want to let my bill go to over 1,000$when we was homeless and couldn't pay even 100$. She ripped me off locked me out instantly. We lost items we really cared about because of her actions. I hope tamesha and U-Haul are happy for the couple bucks they made off my unit ..the sentimental value was priceless.

Seems very difficult for the countermen to navigate or understand "the system". Had made the storage unit reservation a couple days prior (with the manager) to move in to a 12x30 unit. Also had a second reservation for a 12x20, which I had made myself online. Ended up with a single 10x20 as they couldn't find any available at the time of rental. Very nice crew, just seems the storage part of the system is difficult or different somehow.
