BENJAMIN CThe original location for pickup was a disaster. 440 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042, the U-Haul neighborhood dealer did not know anything at all, claimed he didn't have the information for the rental, said to call the number listed (which was the number of his own location, though he said that it wasn't), said we needed to call the local UHaul location, then said we needed to call the UHaul company. The UHaul company then tried to walk and talk him through the process, he still didn't know how to find the information, and, after 30 minutes of waiting, suddenly said he doesn't have the key to the truck. We ended up going to the listed location above for our rental.

JOSEPH GAmberlyn was so efficient and helpful. However she was busy helping me change the ball size on my truck and there were 3-4 more customers lined up who needed her. I do believe there should be two people on site. If not for the busy times, at least for safety reasons.
JANICE MFront brake rotors were warped to the point where it caused dangerous shaking going down a 4 % grade.

THOMAS DEnsure the mileage on the truck odometer matches what is shown in the U-Haul computer system. Before leaving the U-Haul location, I checked the mileage reading on the odometer and compared it to the mileage on my paperwork. It was off by 71 miles, meaning the mileage on these odometer was 71 miles higher. If I would not have caught this prior to leaving, the U-Haul location, this may have resulted in an approximate additional charge amount of $71. Obviously, I would have challenged thiis which may have been a very uncomfortable situation.

GREGORY Si am someone that NEVER does these surveys. i don't believe people actually take the time to read them or care about the feedback from their consumers. however, my experience was SO BAD at this UHAUL SITE i had to voice my concern. the woman working at the desk - her name was Daisy - was extremely rude and unprofessional. not just to me but to every customer that was in the store while i was present. while asking the man in front of me how many miles he was going to be taking his truck, he showed her his phone and she said "you're going to have to do better than that, i don't read spanish". another customer walked in to return his truck. for some reason he was owed money back. daisy proceeded to tell this man that he will have to come back later or on another day to get his refund. because she "too busy to open up the cash drawer to give him money back and he would have to come back if he wanted his money". this all happened BEFORE i even made my way to the counter. however, daisy did manage to chirp at me and my cousin while we were in line and while she was dealing with the spanish speaking fella in front of us. she literally interjected herself in to our conversation. i was complaining about someone that i work with and daisy (while supposed to be helping the spanish fella) literally said to me "yea and i'm sure you're a real peach to work with too". luckily when i returned the truck, daisy wasn't there. but the gentleman that was there didn't seem surprised when i shared my concern about daisy. she is an employee that will make someone NEVER WANT TO RETURN TO YOUR LOCATION AGAIN! there were no issues with the equipment and everything did go smoothly from that perspective.
GREGORY GThe location on my contract, CME golf carts, does not rent or accept U-Haul products. They said that they had not for years. Please remove them from your drop off location list.

CURTIS STruck had TPMS fault light, was missing a heater fan knob, and had many dents and dings. It did drive OK, though. Customer service was very good!
DAVID MThe pickup of the trailer went very well but the drop off not so much. I am almost 69 years old and when I went in at around 5:30 PM to drop it off the man behind the counter said to just take it to the yard and unhook it and he would check it in later. The lobby was not crowded (there was another worker at a different desk and only one customer that came in after me). It was dark and I had to back up the trailer without help, then disconnect and remove the 5 X 8 trailer myself. I am due for shoulder surgery on the 25th and probably should have not lifted it off but I was a little upset at the way I was treated so I did not want to make a scene. If he had asked me instead of telling me to drop it in the yard I probablty would have asked for help. The young lady who hooked up the trailer was great and very professional. The guy who checked me in, not so great. I have rented several trailers over the last few weeks and been overall very satisified (except for the Sunday morning when the store opened up almost an hour late).

GARY DThe actual people who work at this location were great to deal with. My issue is with the company overall. I got downgraded in size because online was wrong. It in turn caused me to run over the 24 hours and I got charged 2 days. I went over 3 hours because I had to make more trips. I don't see how their screw up should cost me.

Omar P | Expérience généraleEverything went smoothly. I was a little annoyed that I had to pay for an entire additional day just because I needed the vehicle for a few hours over the 24 hour mark. So I picked it up at 1:30pm (roughly) and was charged for 48 hours, but my slip said to have it back by 7:00pm the next day. Being charged by hour would be a little more reasonable, but outside of that everything else was great.

It's insane! And there's nothing stopping your neighbor from climbing over the wall and getting into your unit! The walls are simply just drywall and the screws are exposed! Your stuff is not safe here, you don't know who your neighbor is.

The manager asked what we were going to do with the items in the unit that we were cleaning out. He offered us a U-Haul storage unit free for a month. Until we figured things out. The staff at the Lebanon, PA U-Haul are definitely top notch.
Kathy P | Expérience généraleThis Uhaul location was chosen because of convenience and turned out to be a huge mistake. Firstly I would like to say the building is infested with roaches and mice or rats. Not sure which one. All throughout the building there are huge traps laid out for the rodents. At first opening my storage I noticed 2 inside of my unit placed in opposing corners. I let that go because I had already loaded up my truck and then the cart and came to this location. So upon arriving at the location I entered my access code and could not enter the building. I then went inside and asked for help and was told I have to enter my access code in 2 separate doors in order to enter the building which was highly inconvenient and could have been told to me when I booked it online. So I didn't waste any time. Then as I was loading my belongings into my storage my daughter noticed a roach crawling out of 1 unit up the wall and all around. I made 2 trips with my truck and on the 3rd trip I tried to get in and was locked out. I was never told online that I had to pay extra to use the 24 hour service. It states that the Uhaul location itself is open for self service 24/7 and I was annoyed that I was standing outside and unable to get in and unload my car. My last issue with this whole situation was that my military veterans discount was not applied and there have been hidden fees in order to utilize this storage. If it were not for the urgency to get my belongings in a place I would have taken all of my things out. I plan on moving it all out within a week because I would hate if my belongings became roach infested and damaged due to mice or rats chewing through my stuff. I would not recommend storing your items here unless you get kicked out and have no place to put your stuff .

You have much of the material (boxes, packing material, trucks) that we have used over numerous times. Although my current unit is on the first floor, I hear you have added an elevator. When I cleaned it out I found 3 die ones, showed the manager and he didn't seem to wonder about it. I told them and also showed them the damage last month. Ok thanks for letting us know. I tried to put a claim in for the damage but I needed the policy number for it, but no one would call me back or they said they can't fine one. I will never use your storage unit again

Wanda R | Expérience généraleExpected more from a storage facility. No lighting available inside the interior storage, lights in hallway leading to storage unit were very dim. The little interaction with staff seemed like we were a nuisance. Paid $170/month for interior storage and did not expect to see a lot of mouse waste on my wooden furniture shelves. Luckily only stored wood and plastic furniture and so far did not find damage from these critters. Would suggest this facility invest in some type of rodent repellents for their units so no one else has to deal with finding surprises in their belongings.

When getting my account set up, there were two employees working at the computer without any sort of mask. When checking out, there were three employees working on and out of the building. One of the employees did have his mask on while outside, but when I saw him inside later, he and the other two employees were not wearing masks. I felt very unsafe. In addition, the couple of customers I saw inside the storage warehouse were not wearing masks either (which I acknowledge is a lot harder to control).

I did not know this at the time but the employee knew that and did not contact me to let me know. Instead, he let it go three days until finally letting me know he was charging me $15 extra for being late. I tried to tell him this, but he did not seem to care and charged my card anyway. So instead of $103 I paid $118. I know it isn't that big of a difference but during times like these, every penny counts and this entire ordeal was very unflattering. It was like HE was making that $15 and did not seem to care what I had to say. I hope Uhaul can help me with this issue or else I will take my business elsewhere next time.

And I was very upset your company does not prorate the unit, my unit was from 6 to 6, I checked out on the 20th, that's 15 days early, I feel I should have gotten a reimbursement for those days
