ZOHEEB ZThis particular location was, as noted, excellent. However, it is not the location where the unit was reserved. This was the 6th time we've tried to reserve equipment from the Old Bridge location because it is only two miles from where needed, but were sent to another location, always further away. This was 100 % of the times we rented in NJ.
DANIEL HNothing. The customer service and equipment is first class. I had a tough 3 day move which resulted in my extended rental. UHaul couldn't have been better under my circumstances. Great job
HARRY TYes I would recommend to a friend, I have already and he was very satisfied as well. Should I need I will be returning this location (even though it is not the most convenient for me) as the customer service was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt.

Paul MIt took a long time to get the van though truckshare. I had to submit photos of my self and my drivers licensee multiply times. And I had to give the phone numbers of 2 people the call to verify my identity. Should not have to give any.

DANIEL MFrom the beginning till the end, which lasted probably two years in storage, the staff the people, especially the people at the storage lot itself, were always helpful and taking care of the unit, making payments and especially been able to get in and out and taken things out of the unit throughout the timeframe, I would definitely recommend this to others, it’s a good opportunity and an inexpensive way to store you’re goods
Al LI received a package that I didn't ask for and returned the van the following morning as to not be responsible for the truck additional days. I returned it with more gas and paid 56 cents more for over mileage. The staff great, ewuiptment good but u payed for blankets I had to return and 2 days I didn't need the truck. Long time loyal customer. Any refund chance to stay with the company?

Michael CMy rental did not come from this location. U-Haul changed my truck pickup to a location 20 minutes away. U-Haul was supposed to call me the night before to confirm but they never called. I found out when I went to pick up the truck. They also changed my one-way rental to a round-trip. I found out at the pickup counter of the other location. I've heard from friends about U-Haul changing reservations on them with no notice. It finally happened to me, and it happened for the last time. For my next move I will use another company.
MATTHEW VNot a thing as regards impeccably friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and patient customer service and clean, well maintained equipment. Would just suggest a reminder on equipment delivery to advise if equipped if backup camera, as mine was. It was not in expected/usual dashboard location when I was getting familiar with settings and making adjustments before pulling out. It wasn't until much later, when needing to drive in reverse, that I discovered there was a backup camera, located on left side of rear view mirror. Nice touch as it helps more than just side-view mirrors. Excellent experience from reservation through early, safe return using the after-hours drop-off. Thank you, all.

ANGELINA CThey gave us a dirty vehicle inside and out. Manager was rude and talking down to me claiming his guys wouldn't lie about the state of the vehicle (when of course they would to avoid getting in trouble??) To be clear there was food between and behind the seats inside, and bugs all over the windshield forcing me to scrub for 20 min before I could see through it. The truck was also super loud (especially for brand new 20 000 miles on it). To us, there had to be an exhaust leak However, because we didn't go back and demand a new one or pull over and call roadside it simply didn't matter what kind of experience we had. Just comments like "yeah well it's expensive to move and sucks to drive 1100 miles". I'd rather sell all of my things before my next move than to give U-Haul and their terrible customer service anymore money.

MARY FThis place is a rip off. I put 28 miles on the truck. When finished, I put 3 gallons of gas in it before returning it. The U-Haul website states the 15 ft truck gets 10 MPG so the 3 gallons I put in should've more then been sufficient for the 28 miles I put on the truck. This location proceeds to charge me an additional $20 for an additional 4 gallons of gas that I supposedly should've put in the truck. I asked the guy how that's possible that 7 gallons of gas is needed to cover 28 miles?? He told me he can't help me and to call corporate. Very unprofessional. Do not go to this Marlboro NJ location. They will steal your money and then be of no help. Truck was also old, smelly and sticky. I didn't care about the condition of the truck as it still got the job done, but the out right theft from this location is unacceptable.

To leave with a smile was very unexpected due to my having to use the facility… divorce. I'm considering using Uhaul to store some of my art and my record collection. The best part for me was the location. The only negative thing was the lighting. That will be a major factor in using U haul in the future.

After searching through his records he first offered me a unit on the 2nd floor and after I explained to him that I specifically reserved the first floor he was able to locate my reservation. When I made a reservation on the phone, I was told by a rep named Genie that I qualify for 1 month free storage because I have used u-haul last February. When I brought that up with Christopher- he told me that I simply don't qualify for such a promotion. After back and forth he offered to call his manager ( Joelle) to clarify this dispute. About two hours later I called back to see what came off that conversation only to find out that Christopher decided not to bother his manager. Now, I have to follow up with Joelle myself to get a straight answer, why corporate tells me that I qualify for a free month and facility management declines that. Lastly, upon returning my truck I couldn't use the link that was provided to me for self check out of the truck. I couldn't upload a picture of my odometer and gas tank. Now, I am facing an additional charge of $20 for someone to check out my returned truck. Overall, not very pleasant experience added to one of the most stressful life experiences- moving.

They told us we can canceled on line but never said we had to take pictures. The storage is hours from my house and I was not able to get the pictures

The only negative comment that I would like to state is that once when the security gate was broken and in the up position for weeks I was never notified that this happened and there was nothing done to provide alternate security to prevent anyone from driving in or out of the facility before the gate was repaired and operational again.

At any time that seems to be mission impossible on reaching anyone especially when u wanna make a payment. To be blunt ur staff is super friendly and helpful. Problem is u have to actually reach someone to actually enjoy the experience U have no idea how much money uhaul is losing daily over that worsening issue but again the awesome staff compensates that to a degree. Hopefully u haul wakes up and starts answering their phones
David T | Premières impressionsunfortunately I had a terrible experience with the facility as roof had leak and some of sons belongings were destroyed . the issue is being resolved via insurance claim and the general manager promptly contacted me and filed a report but I was disappointed that I wasn't offered any dispensation from the facility. also there was no light inside the unit which was disappointing .

I made my reservation for a Saturday but I kept getting calls saying it was a different day.. on the day of moving am going to the storage unit the only person who gave me the up most respect was Victoria the young lady at the storage place. Such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I think after this I may never use them again. I will be calling bc I was told it's going to take 10-15 days to get my $100 back.. I was soo upset I was ready to cry..
