The truck cab had a strong smell of dog and had dog hair on the middle seat. We just opened the windows so it could air out and it was OK after that.

After confirming my reservation 2 times the day before, the pick up location could not find my rental. After 20 min. and 2 phone calls involving the mgr . , who claims she was the District manager, to a corporate line. The DM manage to find my reservation. This was all after she claimed 1) the reservation was only a reservation and they did not have the rental . 2) me showing her my text and my confirmation after logging into my online acct., then stated that the rental truck was not dropped off yet for my reservation. I had a 7 am pick up and they open at 7 am. How would that even be possible . Please keep in mind this was after I confirmed my reservation twice the day before. For a DM, she showed little empathy for my situation our proof in hand . Even telling me that the person I spoke with at Uhaul Dispatch was a person sitting somewhere in their living room and did not have a clue of the inventory held at her location . Only after begging her to call to help me out since my ride already left me , did she finally find the truck which was there all the time!!!!

WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM! Never explain anything and end up getting a $600 charge from them and when you try to get an explanation for the charges, they send you back and forth. WORST EXPERIENCE! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!

The only complaint I would say was the cab wasn’t clean but overall Gloria Robinson was an outstanding lady she has awesome customer service and she was able to get me and another customer out at the same time I would always us this location as my point of service

give all info to the customer. when I asked if there was an additional charge if I didn't return by 4:30 pm, all I was told was just to call & let them know. when I called, I was told there was an additional charge which doubled my bill. will not recommend to anyone so that they are not surprised with a double bill.

Optimize the coordination of the return and pick up of rental trucks to avoid delays. In our case, the pick up of the 15 ft truck we rented was scheduled for 11 AM on July 1. It was based on the return of the previously rented truck at 11 AM. The location manager opted to release another truck (20 ft) to us at 11:45 AM when it was apparent the previously rented truck would not be returned on time. We ended up arriving late for our movers.

Better documentation of equipment rented. Don’t charge for equipment not received. If a truck is returned within an hour of the proposed rental period either offer the truck to be used another day or don’t charge for an entire day rent.

We were transferred to a different store 14 miles away without being noticed so we waited 20 minutes at the first store and then were told we had to go to a different store. We then had to pay for 28 miles round trip, including what that was in gas, although we did not make the reservation at that store, despite asking not to have to pay this extra cost.

i had to go to this location to pick up the vehicle. i went to the location on lapalco Blvd. on Sunday and was told they had no vehicle to com back on Monday. i asked if we need to make a reservation and was told no by the male subject at the counter. i asked the subject at the counter a second time and received the same answer, when i arrived on Monday the clerk at the counter told us the if we did not make a reservation he would not have a vehicle for me. this was unacceptable he had to call another store location. at this point i am very disappointed with the service and how i was treated.

The service was good, except when it came time to pay the gentleman over charged for a dolly not used.. I've called twice and it's still not corrected. It would be better when the error is corrected.

I wasn’t told about any deals that uhaul had to offer before my purchase and I paid $175 for a 15’ truck even though I had it for less than 24 hours . A rip-off!!! I will never use the service again . Bad customer service, horrible company.

I came to rent the smallest truck to do a 10 mile total local move from a storage unit to my apartment. With only a medium truck available it cost me ten extra bucks immediately and by the time it was all said and done it cost me over 70$ and I had the truck for less than 3 hours. My card was initially charged 100$ out the door and when I checked the truck back in the receiver punched the numbers in and the total came to 62$ and change. My debit card is yet to have the 37$ change returned to it!!!! For such a small move it’s been a real hassle and more money than I ever expected

Everything was good with the exception of the dolly mix up. I ordered a furniture dolly but the vehicle did not have it inside so they're supposed to take that charge off. And the biggest issue I had was the turning in of the truck via the Internet. Apparently there's some glitches in that system because it would not allow me to do it via internet so I actually had to call someone to turn in the truck. But other than that it was excellent

I made a reservation for 2 days for a 20 ft, I got there she didn't have the 20 ft and she didn't have a truck for two days. I took the smaller one why make a reservation if they don't have what you need.. ????

I rented a dolly only which we wanted for a one-way trip. This was a different request for the U-haul staff. But they processed the rental without a problem without being charged a deposit. If you're paying with cash you will be charged a deposit however. Thank you U-HAUL in Westwego, excellent customer service!
