Check-in by app was not a feature that I was familiarized with or advertised to me; and was discovered by mistake. After performing the check in and online return forms, very "smooth" process. Representative for both pick up and delivery very professional and did not wait too log between hand-offs. Keep up the good work. I reserved a 4x8 and it was confirmed the night before. I drove out to the location and was told they only had a 6x12. I had no choice no other 4x8 were available. Although they did give it to me at the same rate it was way too big and hard for my small truck to pull.

I cleaned it out, but didn’t check till I arrived at picking up my furniture unfortunately and didn’t have any tools to clean. So my new furniture got a little dirty. I cleaned for the next person.

Explain to customers the changes to the process of renting equipment. The entire rental process is automated now, make an effort to have a living breathing human customer service to assist customers with some of the prompts on the app which I didn’t want to add to my phone. Consider also not requiring customers to have to download the app which takes up unnecessary space on the phone. Allow customers to rent equipment as a quest without having to download the app.

From local point of pick up on Long Island to PA drop off, could not have asked for a better experience. Walked in at 7am ro rent a 10' box truck, had my reservation confirmed and I was out the door in 15 minutes. Picked up a brand new truck the next day and off I went. Mike is not the nice guy he pretends to be. Almost every encounter with Mike felt like a battle or I was a inconvenience instead of him being welcoming or friendly or professional or cordial even. He seemed like he had an attitude and helping the customers seem to annoy him as I witnessed him helping a customer and then as he was walking away from the customer insult the customer. One of Mikes co-workers said to him "woosah" a slang term or calming mantra used to reduce stress and anxiety or anger by encouraging deep,intentional breathing and relaxation. I rented a truck to move my condo out,Uhaul and public storage advertise 1 month free with any truck rental or move long distance or local. They called me 3 different times,called my emergency contact on file and mailed late payment letters to myself and my emergency contact saying I was delinquent in paying my monthly storage bill and that a late fee would be added to my bill. I had to call them for 20 minutes straight before someone answered the phone to assist me. I spoke to an employee named Mason who looked up my account and said that I didnt owe anything. I'm currently renting a 10×20 storage unit at a different public storage location,the public storage that im renting is charging me $450 a month uhaul/public storage offer was $380 a month i chose to stay where im at paying the $450 a month instead of paying the $380 a month just so I wouldn't have to deal with Mike. Most of the staff were helpful especially Rick. Emma was ok and Mason wasnt bad either.

It went very well. Space is clean and the restroom facilities is a bonus. I was at Prime Storage right next door and they assured me that they would not raise the rate but two months later they increased it by $85. They probably believed that because I live in Queens that I would t make the time to go elsewhere. WRONG! I decided to go with u-Haul because I used them when I moved to Prime Storage and the girl there warned me that Prime Storage would raise the rate and that u-haul doesn’t. Sure enough she was right. This is why I decided to rent storage with them. Staff is very courteous and informative. They also have equipment to use, at no cost, to help you with moving your items out of the truck. There is a small section by the entrance of items from people that left behind that you can have if you like something. I found a foldable chair for my neighbors daughter. Overall, I definitely recommendk storing with U-Haul at the Medford location.

Always has sketchy people walking around the property, some of which I don’t believe even has lockers on the property. The loading/unloading area always had broken pieces of objects and random screws/nails. The unit prices are on the higher side compared to other facilities. Staff is starting to improve. Older staff were not friendly, and were very creepy.

Bringing the car back to the lot during non business hours was a little tricky, but I was able to get though it via the check in specialist on the phone. After an hour I was able to leave the truck and drop the key. My only suggestion would be working on reservation/app compatibility, or having the customers download the app before taking the truck.

Nothing against the upkeep or staff, it really comes down to the max security with the card and code with alarms constantly going off. Also The space I was assigned was incredibly inconvenient to reach for me and I walked past many vacant spaces same size to reach mine on the second floor opposite the elevator through a maze. My main issue was the size was not at all what I expected from the online description. It was very deceptive with how you included the height and I thought that was the width so ended up stacking my belongings like a game of jenga. Will never come back or recommend this facility. You should address the issues on your website description of the storage spaces.

The card swipe access at the front door is rarely used by anyone and the alarms for the units only sound on the first floor. Whenever I spent time organizing or moving things, I had to bring earplugs to dull the frequent alarm sirens. Glad to be out of there.

The storage unit was excellent. We had an indoor unit it’s not temperature control, but it was nice and convenient. Cleaning people were always around cleaning the bathroom as well-maintained and clean. The units are like new and is very clean and the service is very nice. The facility was not secure. There were multiple times some guy was sitting by the entrance in a car doing drugs, using the restroom, and lighting fireworks. After I notified the staff they said they would handle it but I saw this individual multiple times after. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my truck and unit knowing someone could just walk in and or come and go as they please. I’m pretty sure this guy didn’t even have a unit. It was very frustrating. I also experienced a few staff members who had very poor customer service. Two who weren’t welcoming at the desk, one who approached me in the hall saying “Hey!!” To get my attention, it just wasn’t the best. It was also $100 more than the new unit I chose for less space and less professionalism.

There was NO ac on the 2nd or 3 floor. My brother and I have two units on the 2nd floor. We moved some stuff in and could not breath on the floor. I never had such an unpleasant experience in my life. Due to the pandemic my husband lost his job and im in long term care. We were very good customers always paid on time we knew in January we were going to be late the manager gave us till the 27th then licked us out a few days later when confronted he was rude and lied about not having the conversation. I’ve never used a storage facility that did this .

When i went to close out my storage unit i had the front desk girl hit on my boyfriend to my face and also my account was never closed out. I stayed there an hour waiting for her to tell me everything was taken care of only to find out 6 months later I’m still being charged for this nonsense. Horrible experience. I’ll never use uhaul ever again.

I have used this facility for years for truck rental, trailer rental, and even room rental. The staff is excellent. Extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The new building and grounds are very functional and beautiful.

After a long day of storage unit searches that left me quite unhappy-I was pleasantly surprised by the lower price and MUCH better quality I saw at this storage site compared to others in the area. It was a clear winner. Dan, was helpful and reassured me of the safety, cleanliness, & orderly manner of which the facility and company likes to maintain their units and building. I wish I had come here first instead of spending more money for a tremendously poor quality unit elsewhere.

At this point I've used U-haul for U-boxes, Truck Rental and storage. I can't say everything has been as smooth as I'd like, but I am very happy with how pleasant the staff have been and impressed by their willingness to help correct all the issues. Should I ever need services such as these again, I would definitely return to this facility.

Renting this storage unit and moving in was the easiest business transaction I’ve had in a very long time. The staff at Medford uHaul was excellent in the past and they still are excellent now; and the brand new clean modern climate controlled storage unit - with sensible contract terms - is exceptional! The facility is very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I used them in the past and was pleased to see that they now have indoor climate controlled storage units for rent. It’s really convenient to be able rent trucks, purchase moving supplies, and rent storage space all in one spot. The bonus is also using a brand new facility. I know that our items in the unit will remain clean, safe, and secure. This is one of the best uhaul facilities on Long Island!
