The staff at the facility were extremely rude and unhelpful. I witnessed them playing around outside the office while I called 18 times, only to be put on hold each time. He said the computer was shut down but he gave me a 5x5 after 7pm. He was rude and unprofessional.. I paid to have everything move into storage by a company I had to pay extra. And for gas and miles..

So I guess it could say it was clean in that there wasn't a lot of trash & grass area appeared well maintained, but when I think of the mice droppings in my unit around my personal items it's hard to say yes to this question.

shalista h | Expérience généraleThere was one glitch at the end- when I arrived (with a moving crew) to empty the locker, my locker was double locked with a note that I was denied access for lack of payment. This was not true: I had a receipt for the month's automatic payment on my phone. Next, the office at the Simmons Lane lockers is now closed, so I had to leave and go to the Broadway office to resolve the problem, leaving my movers waiting. However, the mistake was discovered and easily resolved, so it was not a major inconvenience.

BRADLEYEDWARD BManager that checks in the vehicle always charges for fuel even with the vehicle being returned with the proper amount of fuel. This is the 2nd time he's done that. Hopefully the other Menands location opens soon so I don't have to rent from this location again.

Russell TReserved a 15' truck. Got there to pick it up. Had to wait 20 minutes for the person to show up to work. Sign on door said they opened at 7am (that was the time I showed up to pick the truck up per my reservation) but no one was there until 720. Once we were able to go in we were told the truck was not reserved to us. I had a confirmation number and a screen shot of the reservation on my phone and showed him. He apologized but said we were unable to use the 15' truck as they only had one and it was reserved to another person at 9/930. We told them we only needed it to move a couple things and would have it back by 9. We were still told we could not use the truck WE RESERVED. My fiancé and I both started to get frustrated and asked what we could do since we were already at this location. We were told we could use the van ( That is MUCH smaller) and it would be 20 dollars for the day and we wouldn't be paying for mileage but we would just need to return it will a full tank of gas (which is normal) we agreed and started filling out paperwork. We were then asked for how many miles we would be going. We didn't really have time to be fooling around as it was already 40 minutes past our pick up time. We signed paperwork and were told for the inconvenience we would have some money taken off once we get back for not being able to use the truck. Once we dropped it off a different guy check us back in and told us there was no notes in the system about money off for the wrong moving vehicle and then was told we needed to pay 85$ for the van. We explained what happened earlier in the day and that we were told there is no charge for mileage but since the first employee was incompetent and didn't put notes into the system there was nothing he could do. I normally use U-Haul to move stuff as they are more reasonable then some other company's. But this experience has made me think twice about using U-Haul the next time I need to move a couple things.

TYRONEJ MThe only issue we had was with returning the truck. When you return the truck it asks for your location services and there's not a strong connection in that location. We followed the instructions to allow Uhaul to pick up our location, but it didn't work. We tried from two phones. The Call center gentlemen was very helpful and gave us the instructions. I didn't need the truck for the second day so I wanted to make sure I returned it properly and w/in time . My suggestion to the IT dept. when returning rather than having it pick up a WiFi location just have the ability to select the location where you're returning the truck, like you do when you place the order. Other than that everything was smooth and the gentleman in the office was kind and helpful. I would recommend to a friend and will be a repeat customer when I need to move my belongings out of storage. Merci.

I would've stayed over the winter but we recently purchased property where I will store my boat during the cold months. I will be back in the spring if there is room.
