The truck was frozen shut. Went to return truck and my account stated that I had no rentals to return. Was on the phone for 45min trying to get it fixed and they were unable to resolve problem. Ended up leaving truck and came back the following morning to get everything situated. Very stressful to just return a rental.

Employees should answer the phone and not transfer to call center. Manager should be available to speak with customers with concerns. Misinformation with storage charges, still trying to resolve this issue but have not been able to reach the manager. Also, movinghelp.com is a complete scam. Charged my card twice, first mover did not serve the area, second mover did not even exist, no information to be found anywhere. I would not partner with this awful company.

I definitely prefer budget over uhaul. I rented the smallest box truck (studio up to 1 bed apt). This truck would NOT fit a one bedroom apt. The only things I moved was 1 queen size bed, dresser, chest, table, washer and dryer, rocking chair, small book shelf (9 cube shelf) and a bike. That alone barley fit in. The fact the I didn’t have full use of the truck since it wasn’t flat didn’t help. Also hate the fact there is no ramp. I have only used uhaul twice and unfortunately prefer budget. The biggest factors are the ramp and full use of the truck. It is very difficult to lift everything up into the truck and down off of it after two day of moving.

When my boyfriend went there they told him that I had a 134.00 balance which I did not I went to get a storage as well I was told I had ro have a special lock and home owners insurance We went to the storage and couldn't get in the storage He never told me I had limited access and I had to pay extra to get 24 hour accept Which is ridiculous I have never heard of a thing like that You all are just out to take people for there money and I will never be back and will be disputing the charges with my bank

The time to process during pick up and drop off was a bit lengthy. The was a trainee handling my order. So I do understand that can take longer. There was no ice scraper in the truck to clear the window.

The truck i got was junk.the battery died win nothing was in use.it makes a popping sound win going in gear.u can hear air leaking between cab and box..and yet i still was charged for being broke down...need to the trucks serveced normaly insteed of win needed

Stop lying about pricing. Don’t put 19.95 on the truck when you know it’s not even close. Even for a local in town trip it’s double that just to walk out the door with the keys. I’ve rent several U-Hauls over the last 4-5 years and it’s bullshit. You guys know it’s bullshit

While the heater is on it smells which means the truck is overdue for an oil change. The paasenger side headlight points downward..it needs to be adjusted. Its been over 15 hours since I returned the truck and the payment has yet to be taken out of my deposit. This is very inconvient because I canno use my card until this is done.

It was tough to live up to the Fredericksburg VA location and staff. Only saw one employee and she was on the phone when we arrived. She did not acknowledge us for perhaps 6-10 minutes while on the phone. Once engaged, she was competent and friendly in checking us out after dropping off the truck.

Gas tank was below 3/4 given to me and I returned it on the same level as given then was charged for the remaining to get back to 3/4. The dolly that was in the truck had a broken seal when given to me and by the time we noticed it, it was too late and they charged me for that to.

They are charging me for an accident that did not happen while I had the truck. I parked it in the spot where drop off is and I waited for someone to come inspect the truck like the sign said. No one came so I went inside and was told to leave the keys in the ignition and go ahead. Later on that day around 6:00 -6:30 I get a message saying that they are trying to get$711.00 off my card. But it declined the transaction. So I called to see why. Come to find out they are trying to say that the truck had been in an accident. That it has a yellow scrap down the side and the bumper is bent. But I know for a fact that it wasn't like that when I parked it. Why would I do that and then wait for them to check me out? They did that there and since I wasn't there when they did it and tried to blame it on me.

We roll out in the first truck and had to bring it back because they issued the wrong one. They didn't change the information in their system, so we ended up getting charged an extra $30 when we shouldn't of.

This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a customer based store. I rent a storage unit at a different facility with U-Haul, that’s another story but I do have very frequent interactions with U-Haul. However, I had called in about 10 minutes prior to showing up to see truck availability, after finalizing my plans with my fiancé and our landlord I stopped in to rent the truck, she told me there were non available, I said “they get rented out that in ten minutes? I had just called in and was told there was one available, I see there’s one on the lot” to which she replied “yep, that quick” with an attitude. I stepped out of the facility and called into your corporate office, I spoke to a very nice woman who helped me reserve the truck that I was looking at, after being told it wasn’t available. I made a complaint over the phone but it seemed to go unnoticed, I’m sure your calls are recorded. After finalizing my reservation I walked back in and explained I had a truck to pickup I had just reserved, with attitude she replied “oh I thought you were talking about a different kind of truck” I work in the logistics field and was very specific of what kind of vehicle I was requesting. She was extremely agitated and went ahead and helped us. The truck was great. After returning to the facility at 19:04, with the facility closing at 19:00 est, the same woman was washing her personal vehicle and her coworkers vehicle with the stores equipment, she ignored us, another customer and continued her focus and let us check in our vehicles with our phone. Another customer arrived to return his vehicle and he parked in the incorrect spot, rather than correct him and help him understand where to park she said “sir you have to park behind the other truck, and you’re blocking my car”. Knowing that I had to pay for this service and that I pay monthly to this company is upsetting for the service I’ve received. I will be moving all of my belongings out of your storage facility and canceling. I am upset because this is such a large company and you would expect much higher standards. This woman truly gave me one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I’d advise for customer retention, she be looked into.

Pick up took forever. Trying to extend the rental of only our truck was a hassle, trying to get ahold of someone at the actual location was impossible and sitting on hold was a minimum of 5 minutes. Then even though we turned in our car dolly early, we were still charged an extra day. Goodness only knows how long it will take us to get back the money charged.

Never answer phones, ONE employee for forms & hook up equipment. You arrive at 9 a.m. to pick a reserved trailer, wait an hour then are expected to have a 24 hr. rental for 23 hrs.! Poor management.
