The store needs to be open during the posted hours. The employee was 45 minutes late opening the store and they randomly closed up early that day. Employee showed no empathy for their tardiness (didn't even acknowledge any of it). I wouldn't be surprised if they were high on drugs. The 26' super mover itself was fine, just getting the truck and dropping it off was highly unprofessional.

My first location for this rental was Trenton Ohio, I was told when I called to customer service the day of pick up that my rental had been moved to an alternate location and was supposed to be notified but unfortunately no one notified. Hence why the call to customer service, the Trenton location was supposed to notify me and they failed to do so, so I showed up and waited until I finally called. Already late to the pickup, thankfully your customer service agent was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. So overall for the Middletown location, 5/5. Which is nothing close to what I would give Trenton for which is 0/5. I hope I can get some reimbursement, thank you for your time.

Everyone was helpful and ready for me when I arrived. Checking in ahead of time using the App really helped get in and out fast. Foul winter weather required that I move my reservation a day which was super easy to do. Not sure there was anything that needed improvement.

1: Our truck had no heat & our tow trailer had no working rear light on one side. 2: Our truck broke down in Corinth, Ky (1,5 hrs into a trip to Florida). It was found by U-Haul RSA t have NO Transmission fluid. We required a Tow, an overnight stay, and a Load change to a new truck the next morning. 24 hours DELAY due to them not doing general maintenance check up on the truck. 3: U-haul's RSA had to remove the car tow trailer in order to load the truck on the flatbed... He said our car was NOT SAFELY ATTACHED to the tow trailer! The chains were not around the car axel even though 2 employees in Middletown hooked up the trailer & supposedly secured the car.

I got charged for fuel even though I filled the tank past the point I was asked to.

The person who assisted me in hooking up the vehicle needs more training. Once I got to the place to pick up my car. I noticed the brake safety chain was never attached and the light connection was unplugged, because it had been wrapped around the brake mechanism. Causing it to pull out of the plug on the vehicle. If I hadn't done a pre inspection I'm sure law enforcement would have been more than willing to write a citation for this moving violation.

Alzzo I didn't notice that I was missing. A few items after I was told to my storage unit was left improperly locked or after locks were removed. A drill, a large screen GPS unit,a smart watch and a few other items. The local staff were extremely courteous and professional.

Had a tight time schedule ahead of me, so got to location just as they opened. Had a couple concerns with hitch setup which tech quickly explained. Will say there was some confusion of what was available as the shift from the weekend didn't have the trailer that was accessible in the system. But by the time we got back in from looking at hitch, the tech had it logged and ready for me to check out.

My truck rental was great, I had trouble using my online code to get into my storage unit at other location and had to retrieve the managers code and still haven't received a call back or new access code

When talking to a customer about 1st time 1-way rental please let the customer know that the pick up location will be selected a day or two prior to the pickup date. Everyone at corporate was very friendly and helpful but this one important item was never mentioned until the week of my move so I was assuming some things that confused me when I saw the location change away from my requested location. I would have understood completely if it were explained to me during my first call a month before the move date.

While I was checking out my rental, the man helping me was very nice making small talk and apologizing for the slow internet, which was no big deal to me, it was a reasonable amount of time for having internet issues and loading screens and whatnot. However, he was telling me about how he and his son recently visited Dayton, Ohio and how it had gone down hill and how he did not like the city anymore and how the people we're scary and gross. Which, I mean, in his opinion that's okay, although I disagree. But in his complaint about the city he told me he wanted to "shoot everyone there" and the comment took me aback to be frank. Especially being a Dayton native myself, and having friends and coworkers having gone through (and victimized) in the mass shooting that took place in the Oregon district only a few short years ago, it really seemed like quite an inappropriate comment to make to someone during a rental transaction. I quickly changed the subject because I was uncomfortable, and thanked him for his help, but maybe some sensitivity training could be applied here? I don't think the comment was made with malice, but ignorance and I hope this person can learn and grow to be more conscious of his words and the climate in which we all live. Thank you for asking about my feedback.

They seem to have a lot of computer problems. I called three times over a three hour span and their computers were down and the next morning when I called the computer froze and the person I spoke to said my card was charged so much and then they went back to charge for gas and it was declined however we had a gas credit?

The unit they rented to me was not cleaned out and had stuff from previous rented still there. I took pictures for evidence. I am willing to email them to who ever. It was a horrible day and what should have take. A couple hours at max we ended up spending over 5.

I had made the appointment to install a trailer hitch on my vehicle that morning via the U-Haul main line. When I arrived about three hours later at the local dealer, they were able to accommodate me even though they had only recently seen the notification. I asked to have a bit more "slack" in the connector line, and the manager/installer did a good job of that. The hitch seems pretty sturdy, although I have not used it yet. The job was done in the time promised at at the price agreed upon. The facility itself was well maintained, including the bathroom, which was clean and spacious for disabled persons. The others working there were pleasant as well. There was a constant flow of people there, it seemed mainly in regard to the storage facilities.

I was quoted $40,29 for rental pick up Monday & drop off @ 6:30 pm on Tuesday. I was called Tuesday morning while trying to get on road was told I was supposed to return Tuesday Morning and I stated no when I scheduled, I notified I would bring home Tuesday @ 6:30 pm . So lady stated she would change my return time & additional day rental & if I was not there by 6:00 / 6:30 I would be charged additional fees. I rented over phone & only rented to pick up a donation & take to an Outreach in Kentucky to help people in need . Was doing a good deed & communication with rental was not transferred from point A ( call center)to point B ( pick up location). Disappointed

The process was absolutely terrible and the location completely incompetent and rude. I am still waiting to hear back from the district manager regarding the experience. The cashier ringing me up told me that if I had arrived later that he would have told me to f*** off. The van smelled like stale cigarette smoke when I picked it up. After getting the van loaded, the sliding door would not shut. There were several dents in the door that were marked. Working with customer service then roadside assistance, roadside came out and after a quick look, determined that parts would need to be ordered and that these damages were nothing new. They were shocked that the door was shut when I picked it up. They were able to get it closed and told me not to open it again because it may not have many closings left. I spoke with the manager the next morning and after some back and forth, he insinuated that I was the one who damaged the van because I must have tried slamming the door to get it to shut. It has been an absolute nightmare and I would never recommend this location.

I had my stuff stored with you all. Before I could pay off my balance you all rummaged through all of my things and took all of my tool. I just paid you all $300 for a destroyed storage unit. Thank you for stealing all of my tools and kids toys from me and taking my money. Absolute worst and most humiliating experience of my life. You all are horrible for doing this to people.

Well for one they took $100 deposit from me and my son to go move him and then turned around and charged us the remainder amount for the reservation and then charge this again for another reservation then charged us $18 for a fuel charge that was only for an eighth of a tank to find that pretty professional and pretty and valuable and I'm pretty much done with U-Haul after that then the guy had enough nerve to tell me that I was only going to get $32 back no no no I don't agree with that and but you know I was going to sit there and argue with him with a buffoon or an idiot cuz that's all you guys ever hire.

The way they've set this storage facility up is not convenient. You have to park on the street and this facility is NOT in a good part of town so leaving your things unattended while you are loading or unloading is not ideal. Would not recommend

Wish storage units was on bottom floor. To hard carrying things up steps!!! Prices to high for bottom floor. The place was very clean there was no lock in unit. Had to go to office to get it.

Rude blond manager. Inside units not lit. Gave us a truck that looked like potted plants spilled in. Had to have them clean it. After they blew it out n mopped it was slick in spots. My stuff had been in two units since last November it's now September. While there they increased my rates! One was seriously the size of a small closet. I had no where else to Tammy stuff so I just had to pay up. It was uncalled for in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. They say call to resolve disputes. Why? Are they giving money back? I think not!

My storage unit had trash in it and wholes in the bottom of the halls, I hope there is not a rat or mice problem at this facility I don't want my things eaten by rats or mice. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend renting trucks Uboxes, and equipment from there but not the storage.

The gentleman who helped me get all set up was amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is they forgot to remove their red lock from the unit before renting it to me and it took about 30 minutes for them to remove it. The manager made sure all the people who came in after me were helped before removing the lock which could have been done between between. It took about 60 seconds once the person walked away from the counter.

The actual facility and staff are clean kind and another business. Now customer service on the other hand dropped the ball not once but twice it was a hassle just to get to the information of where we needed to go. Google gave us more information and direction then your phone service. I'm very displeased with your phone service and I will never use them again ever.

The manager was very helpful and nice, he set up auto pay for us and was very good at explaining all the basics of the location, he drew out a map and explained how to use everything very well. The storage units are really nice, it was very clean and seemed to be safe and in good condition. It was a great experience after a very tiring trip of moving, highly recommend everything related to Uhal.

I was told that that was a big unit I rented and I could barely get my washer and dryer and couch in Theresa well as 6 medium boxes! We spent over 3 hours trying to cram everything in there and rearrange the few items we was storing! So I am BEYOND dissatisfied and this will be the last time I rent from them and I definitely will not be recommending to anyone else!!!!

Staff was not friendly. Unit was disgusting. It even housed the floor mouse/rat trap inside of my unit. I went to a another company where I felt my belongs would be safe.

When COVID struck and people weren't making their regular income, such as myself, I got no help in trying to save my unit. It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren't willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn't able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn't afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. I won't be back or rent a truck again.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50 % of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.

I booked my truck and storage unit at the same time online. Check in I had to make new reservations. The store manager refused to give me the free storage promotion and I had problems with everything.

I never checked into this location. The reason being, the size that I was supposed to have, was not the size I was told I had. I was to be given a 4x8x6 or something instead of 10x12 or something.

Never answer phones, ONE employee for forms & hook up equipment. You arrive at 9 a.m. to pick a reserved trailer, wait an hour then are expected to have a 24 hr. rental for 23 hrs.! Poor management.
