I booked on line with a U-Haul rental locally. I received a phone call prior to pick stating the rental would not be available at my desired location. If I choose to pick up at a desired location and it shows availability at the time of placing my order, you should honor that.

I assumed that the storage unit was outside. I just didn't understand what climate controlled unit was. And I'm sorry for the inconvenience that I caused. Horrible experience. I moved across the country and planned to arrive to my new home the day I had guaranteed delivery of the container. I had also hired a mover to move me in. They told me the day off, that my container was going to be 2-3 days late. They couldn't tell me why or where it was. They told me to refer to my contract that for each day it's late I'd get a refund if $50. That doesn't even come close to covering the cost and inconvenience of having the box arrive late. Eventually it did arrive. They had actually drilled the door shut. I had a lock on the door that I unlocked, but no one told me they would drill the door shut then we couldn't get it open and my mover had to find a wrench to unscrew and tear the door open. It was beyond awful. I'll never ever use uhaul. Made my move miserable.

When I make a reservation do not cancel my reservation I had to go to 4 different location to pick up my truck. Took hours and time which I had a scheduled reservation. Also when I went to get my truck they had the wrong info on contract. Wrong truck it was a mess. No verification of any mileage or contract. I felt like I was over charged because of this slowed me down had to keep truck another day plus extra mileage. Wasn't fair won't rent again could have been avoided if uhaul had done the right thing and got there stuff together. Cost me double for a Dailey rental and 100 miles. I will go somewhere else. It was terrible treatment.

The reservation process was great. The truck was great. Strangely, when I was at the location getting the keys to the truck, I was told I could not park in the U-Haul parking lot, despite the fact that I was a U-Haul patron. I had to park my car in a sketchy strip mall next to the U-Haul location and walk back to U-Haul to get my truck. I would note that after I utilized the truck and brought it back, there were multiple parking spots available in the U-Haul parking lot. I will probably rent from U-Haul again, but I will not be going back to this location if I can't park my vehicle there. Not cool to do that to paying customers.

I booked a 5x8 24+ hours before my need at a downtown Tulsa location. I found out around (6) hours before pickup that the reservation had been moved to a different location(out of my way). I received a call notifying me. I tried calling back but after a few rings I get tranferred to a corporate calling service with a long hold. Typically corporate is unaware of changes made. I arrived at the new store and asked if I could return the trailer at the original location but I was told I would be charged upward of $300 for this request. I declined. I have spent about $1k a year for the last (12) years on rentals. I was hoping an exception could be made for a loyal customer.

No place to park! no employees to help! took 30 min to get the darn truck and more than 45 to return it! and all for a 3 hour use! cheaper yes, but too damn much effort to use you again!

It seemed like it was impossible for anyone to do their job or comprehend the software they were using. I was patient and kind, but I would highly recommend looking into the length of time the rental process takes for your employees. I didn't really have to wait to be helped so the wait time was fine, but we shouldn't have had to upload our photos & IDs 5 times. Either the software needs updated or your employees need retrained.

We did not like being the ones to check the truck over for damages and disputing before we drove it, that should be the employees job not ours.

Only three stars as when I went to pick up a trailer, U-Haul's computer system was down. Appeared to be a system-wide outage. This caused long lines at the pick-up location. Had the computer systems be running normally, I suspect I would have given a 5-star rating.

I filled up the gas exactly the same as when I picked up the car but still got charged for 2GL fuel. Talked with the rep and she told me it was a bit below the indicator (like really really close) I was too tired to argue then accept it and leave. Really bad expensive

The mobile pick up was an awful experience. It told me the truck was located. On the south side by the ramp. It was not I could not find it then the screen disappeared, and it did not allow me to go back to see what the number was that I was looking for or how to get the key I went inside to ask for help and there was a very long line they couldn't get the system. They said they weren't able to help me because everything was frozen so then I went back outside and I saw the license tag number on the mobile pick up, so I just looked at every single truck until I found it and I found it and it was on the, northside of the parking lot. Then I cannot find the key I went back inside. They said they couldn't help me because I needed the code and I said I didn't have the code because the screen disappeared. They took my phone number and then they were able to find the key. What should've been a five minute pick up took us over 25 minutes.

1 of 2 problems. 1. I was charged incorrectly. 2. I was contacted by the location because drop of was "24 hours from pickup" (I knew this, I did the return before midnight option when I reserved online.) The service was rude and was gaslighting me in the middle of the day. The Rep, Kaylee, was yelling at me telling me I stole a booked reservation. I called the call center after the grilling and confirmed my actual drop off time for midnight. Customer Service didn't seem to care about my unprofessional experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I never had roaches in my life!! That place is riddled with roaches! I had to fog my stuff 2 times inside the truck in an attempt to hope I haven't transported any into my new place. They need to do a better and professional job of exterminating. When I told them about the roaches, they sent the cleaning lady with Ortho Home Defense (Home Depot) to spray the perimeter.

I was scammed by the staff, I had a unit for a month and a half and a year later I was still being charged. Even after multiple attempts to tell them I didn't want the unit anymore… They say My total bill is now $1 600 for a unit I did not even own… Do not store there. Scammers!

My only complaints are that the truck was given to me with "3/16" fuel in the tank. It was listed that way. It said I had 72 miles to empty when I pulled that up on the dash. The other is a personal thing I really don't like the air freshener scent and it was really potent the whole time.

It is insane to me that you all would cap the MPH at 75. Going from Arkansa to New Mexio there are a lot of hills. When going down hill, you lose the speed/momentum to go back up, therefore increasing the amount of gas needed. This was a huge drawback for me. When I picked up the Uhaul, I asked the lady if there was a limit on the MPH and she said she didn't know. Also, the lights on the truck I had were very dim and this caused for a scary situation with me. When I was going around the mountain going into Albuquerque, I could hardly see where I was going. The only thing that navigated me was the taillights of the trucks in front of me. I also had to slow down to about 45MPH instead of the speed limit (70 MPH). The lady also did not go over any of the features on the truck before handing over the keys. My tow light was on the whole time and when I returned it, the man said I didn't need it on. He asked if I was given other information and I had not.

I did not drop off to this location I dropped at 10010 N Garnett Rd, Owasso, OK 74055, with timestamped photographic proof, someone moved my trailer after drop to this location and now they want to charge me 136 dollars for a wrong location fee.

The drop place is owened by Jeff Tolliver..bad person..tried to hide danage to my harley after it was on damaged by his man on his wrecker a few years ago..he had no insurance at time and conspired to defraud me..they told me to take else where and drop off after returning uhaul keys to me.. i left it in good condition with full tank..no bueno..ruined my experience!

The windshield was covered with dead bugs and only had 1/4 tank of gas. Had to go to a gas station to get gas and TO CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD. This delayed us almost 1 hour from the start of our move. Very disappointing.

I miss the 24hour access. That was a huge perk when I first started storing with uhaul, and a major reason we even chose climate controlled indoor storage. And while we appreciate the level of security, it has become cumbersome on regular operation as a tenant there between swiping into bathrooms and the sliding door only opening from the inside. Frustrating, despite the added security.

After paying for my rental I still don't have access to my storage unit. The staff I will give credit to tried there best to get the issues with card system fixed but we're unable to resolve the issue. hopefully when I return Monday they will be able to have it fixed by then

The hours to the big doors and garage were unrealistic. Especially bc people get off of work at 5. They close at 6  And had hardly any time to be able to load/unload my stuff without help. There was no light inside the unit which was hard to see and not being able to vacuum the unit and having to sweep out the unit of carpet was a little harder to do instead of being able to plug in to vacuum.

Tanya went above and beyond to assist me with my U Box which was located in Las Vegas. Tanya made this experience so easy that she took care of all the logistics and all I had to do was pay of course and hire a local mover to assist me with getting my items out of the box and into a storage unit.

Once I arrived and started moving into my unit and realized that I really needed a larger unit, I walked down to the office and immediately got help changing the size and picking the location of the new unit. Also, I was able to leave my car and trailer in a covered secure area while I was unloading. Very nice!

It was not clear to me exactly how to follow the sequence of swiping the security card, using the access code, etc. to get in the storage building. Had to get help a couple of times to understand and I'm still not clear on what the access code is for versus the security card.

Nice and secure U-Haul storage facility. Our stuff was there for over a year with no damage, issues upon retrieval or inconveniences during that time. We always knew our property was safe and most importantly would be preserved in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Would definitely recommend this location.

I was supposed to receive the unit free but had to pay $100 instead because someone at U-Haul entered my truck rental wrong. In order to receive 1month free storage it has to be a 1 way move. So your truck has to be reserved at a different location than your drop off. Which mine was but someone changed my drop off to same location. Make sure to check your records, constantly online.

Your U-Haul facility at 3500 S Sheridan is terribly understaffed. I had the issue of almost 20 mins to get someone to help me. It was very tiring & frustrating for the total process to check-in was at least 1/2 an hour. Especially since I moved & drove close to 200 miles to get to Tulsa. My experiences with U-Haul in Springfield Missouri 3500 S Campbell were Excellent from start to finish. This location was very slow check-ins, poor customer service with just one girl on the counter to help customers. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I barely met the 7 pm closing deadline to check-in the truck & tow dolly & unload into my storage unit. I must say the female at the desk was friendly & very helpful. It was obvious that this U-Haul store is poorly staffed especially when I faced the 7pm closing deadline to return the truck that day. I did not want to have to come back the next morning to get my car & turn the truck & tow dolly in.

Tanya Burrell and her staff at the Sheridan location are top notch! They saved my thoughts of Uhaul! I had such a horrible and confusing Ubox rental, where Uhaul in Arlington, Texas left one of our boxes back in Texas. But Tanya and her staff have been great and I would recommend Uhaul because of them. Also, the customer service agent that handled our Ubox issue over the phone was great as well, as she got our box to us as soon as it could be delivered! Great customer service out weighed errors that occured on Uhaul's end.

Need to change your website saying that storage access is 24 hours please. Showed up early morning and doesn't open until 5am. Whished I would have known that before we drove over there and attempted to gain access.

The staff did not do a good job explaining to me where my unit was and also they did not do a good job of explaining to me how the key card doors were accessed. I had a 5:30 pm reservation for my U-Haul and the people before me did not return the U-Haul until 7pm. It wasn't not the U-Haul employees fault but they were not able to accommodate me in any way shape or form.

Everything was great until I came and closed my storage unit. They forgot to close me out and they charged me again. I had to call to get them to refund me back and hopefully it will not happen again

Everything is fine, but while move out I got hard time. I had to call multiple time to properly check out. 1. Locks: they guy at the counter ask me multiple time to make sure the locks ( that i got free while renting)is at the unit with key as they are for renting purpose only 2. Moved out: After move out of my stuff, I left the access card of storage on 7/26/2023 to the lady at counter and she told me she will move me out the same day after she check the unit. But she did not. I have to make call the next day where i was not able to connect to storage facility person and again the another day I need call where i waited for longs time on phone and finally able to check out properly.

I only had one issue with the storage and that's if you take your belongings out early or before your month is through they do not prorate and give your money back or at least some of it. They said it was in the contract of which I had no prior knowledge of it being in there that you don't get part of your money back but I have rented from U-Haul before and the policy was that you do get a portion of your money back prorated if you take your belongings out early. Other than that the staff was always courteous and polite. Thanks

The only thing I could suggest is fixing the potholes/paving the parking lot and a dumpster on the southeast side of the facility.

The manager Diana was amazing. She was extremely helpful and just super sweet! It was an easy process to get the move in started. They didn't have the size available that we initially wanted but we got a different size that met our needs. They were absolutely amazing!

When the key was lost they would not cut the lock off, instead I was responsible to hire a Lock Smith. Frustrating when the previous manager mailed the key, which was never received. I did not access my things for about 10 months!

The only issue I had was figuring out the check-in process on the keypad before the keypad on the entrance. Would love a card swipe or thumbprint for those.
