It was 199 for one night and 113 miles that is ridiculous

Elijah LI find it very unprofessional that the staff doesn't explain to you the charges if you go over the mileage. When the question is asked to the customer "how many miles? " emphasize the question and let your customers know what to expect instead of being blindsided. This facility is inconsiderate, and money hungry.

Two days later ended up at Porterville in the Central Valley of California. The truck preformed spectacular on the rough I-40 all the way! JOE SCustomer service has greatly diminished. Here's the keys go find the truck yourself. Ask for appliance dolly but it wasn't in the truck and had to go back and ask for it again. Key to the back door lock was the wrong key, had to go back and ask for a new one. When I dropped it off they said just through the keys on the counter and someone will take care of it. Manager don't manage. Poorly ran shop. This location has a lot of potential, just needs some leadership.

Richard BOur experience was absolutely wonderful!! The only thing that would have been better would be for us to start with a full tank of gas so that the expectation of gas level on return wasn't so obscure. Bringing it back to "just under 3/4" and that being evaluated by 2 different people meant we paid way for gas than we felt like we should have. If the has expectation was hard and fast full we would not have anything to wonder about. All that said, we had a great experience and would rent from there again and will tell our friends to go there.

PAUL GThe truck had a low rear tire and dents on both sides that were so bad the driver door wouldn't stay shut. I drove across some mud and got stuck and they said it would cost me 450 at least to get a tow truck. It was one foot from the pavement. It was the worst uhaul truck I've ever rented.

VIRGINIA GFirst off, let's just say one way rental didn't give me enough miles was there a reason for this I'm not sure. Was it incompetents possibly. Only gave me enough miles from the address I'm moving from to where I'm moving to. You would think, ok that's understandable. But is it ? Not really...what about the miles from where I picked the uhaul up from to drive to the address I'm moving from. That there was not accounted for. Which leaves me paying for extra miles. Is this by design. I'm not sure. I definitely don't agree with it. So now I'm stuck paying for extra miles that I shouldn't have to pay for. I would suggest that there isn't fair. Shame on you uhaul associates. Please check into my dispute. Which was put in by a gentleman name Dave on the morning of 1/1/2025 Happy New Year to me.

Had to use a screw driver to line up the holes properly to get the lock on and off. I'm sure the other units are fine. I just got unlucky. (#1007)

SHAYLYNN SThe only issue was the hitch was turned over so that even the slightest incline resulted in a horrible scraping sound. I took it into a location in Tulsa where they immediately saw the problem and corrected it. This resulted in a loss of time and slight inconvenience to me.
NANCY WI reserved a van a month in advance. I got a call the day before letting me know they didn't have one available. Therefore, I was given a small truck, which I was very uncomfortable driving. I can't imagine that there wasn't a van available at some other location in OKC that could've been brought to Midwest City.

Jacuetta JIt was 30 minutes out of my way and they forgot the dolly. They were kind and helpful. I have learned that it doesn't matter when you reserve a uhaul or where you reserve it, they won't know if they will have what you reserved OR where it will be until 24 hours before the reservation.
Kiersten HThere were two girls working the counter when I arrived. One was a manager, and the other was a younger red head. Both were working as fast as they could to get people through, and the red head had her lunch on the counter waiting getting cold while she worked. She could have just as easily snuck into a back room and ate in peace, but she prioritized the customers, and served us first. While hoking up the trailer, the manager mentioned that she would be working Thanksgiving day, letting the others have the day with their families. Somehow, UHaul finds young people with old school work ethic! UHaul may be the only player in town for trailer rentals like this, but they repeatedly impress me with their employees. I wouldn't go elsewhere - even if I could!

FRANCES TYou guys charged me twice after the truck being returned on time and at the same fuel level as left out with. Not a happy customer. Truck rented on Friday 11/1/24 returned on 11/1/24. I was charged $54,67 at the time of initial pick up at 10:20am. Truck was returned by 5pm same day with correct gas level and got another change of $64.
STEPHEN DZ technician that entered my information was incompetent. If I had completed the transaction with her, I would have been charged three times more than what was recommended. I had to step away and call for a secondary person to correct the information that she would not correct. I have rented from this location three times now for the same item. Each time I come back it is a different protocol and process to use the unit.

ONITA BThe app would not allow me to tow a car mover trailer with a 2015 Ford super cab 6 ft bed. Towing 2013 Ran c/v 4100 pounds. So I had to take F350. Told me when I picked up I could have driven the 150. Something is not right.

All staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of the general manager on 5/4 when we were renting a uhaul as well. The general manager immediately defensive and continued to argue with my daughter when my daughter already spoke to a staff member the prior day. No way staff didn't know due to this being an ongoing issue. The uhaul is more expensive than other local storage units so I higher expectations. With the exception of the general manager, other staff have been kind and helpful.

The unit was an old office that had plywood to cover the window, sockets bent/broken and the door (even with a lock) could easily be breached. Also, we almost got a flat tire due to the trash and debri around the facility. We elected to store elsewhere. ***the customer service was awesome, the facility failed them*** I will probably use again for renting items, just not storage.

Likewise, the staff who works with her were as cordial, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful as she is! I have typically had good service with U-Haul company, and at least three states. This facility provided service and care, head and shoulders above any others I have dealt with. They went above and beyond to address my individual problems and needs as a customer! Outstanding definitely six star performance!

My truck pickup location kept changing, self check-in wasn't functioning (I had to check-in at the front counter.), appliance dolly I ordered wasn't useful for my move (Too small!), access storage hours should be 24/7 (Big inconvenience!), directory map wasn't accurate nor useful, locating/entering my storage building was extremely frustrating (Inaccurate and unhelpful instructions.), staff was rude and declined assisting because it wasn't "7 o'clock," storage unit was located upstairs (Why?! I have very heavy furniture.), the padlock wasn't provided (Though I was told I'd be given one.), my truck drop-off location was several miles away (Again, why?! My UHAUL center is both a storage unit and a truck rental location.), video tutorials aren't universal (Rules don't apply to all locations.), I was overcharged (My truck rental rate was $100 more than what I was quoted over-the-phone.), and I did NOT receive my free first month storage rental (I was still charged $84 even after being assured that I wouldn't.). I'm extremely unhappy and disappointed with U-HAUL! Will never rent with this company again.

ANTHONY R | Expérience généraleThough the facility and staff were helpful, your system was down for at least two days, making it impossible to book online or even by phone and when I arrived late afternoon, with a full truck after a difficult moving and driving experience, the check in was excruciatingly tedious and time consuming. I must say that your the MWC manager, Cassie, did EVERYTHING she could to get me into a unit as quickly as possible but your manual booking procedure was a nightmare. It was late in the day, and, even with the month free rent and having to pay the movers by the hour, I would have gone to another facility.

The day I planned on moving I called the store front to make sure the access would work for me as it didn't the previous time I came before and I stressed the importance of it considering again I was moving out. The access didn't work and the staff was super unhelpful, the manager especially. It was a series of sarcasm mixed with poor communication on their end that left me dissatisfied
CIERRA C | Expérience généraleAfter having my entire house full of stuff stored at this facility for 2 1/2 years. I started moving everything out of storage. Only to find that a colony of mice and rats had taken up residence in everything I own. All of my childrens childhood moments and moments are ruined. EVERYTHING! To include every piece of linen or any cloth of any type that was in a box. All eaten by mice and rats. The unit leaked towards the back. Something that could be seen from the front of a full 26' unit. I was told, by Scott (said he was the president of marketing over all of uhaul), to claim it on insurance. He also said it was 100 % that facilities fault. Because they were using an old 26' uhaul truck enclosure that had not been properly sealed. There were several opening he saw that he said are normally covered with metal and welded. My unit wasn't. My great grandmothers quilts from the 20's and 30's. ALL 12 of them! Gone! My father in laws pictures with three different standing presidents. His paperwork and certificates from being the head U.S. Marshal in the western district of Oklahoma. How exactly do you put a price on this stuff?! It's stuff we use to remember special people in our lives. Yet means nothing to Scott, your president of marketing, or anybody else for that matter. So what exactly am I supposed to claim? Hurt feelings? Lack of empathy from uhaul? You have completely changed the dynamic of my family because your inability to do what you do for a living. Now I have to live with it. I will never use another uhaul product as long as I live!
Scott B | Expérience généraleI didn't rent the storage unit for the following reasons: old, dirty, dusty, mold/molded, water stain and a host of other issues. That storage unit should have been removed from the internet long ago because words can't describe the horrible condition of the unit - unable to upload photos. Another concern - why does it take 5 day to receive my refund back on my back card? Uhaul took my money and didn't provide the agreed upon service but I'm required to wait for return of my money. Pictures can and will be provided upon request.

Security screen monitor for clients/guests above entrance door not working. Dead mice and droppings found in my storage contents. Access card did not work. Mold found on boxes and furniture.

I was not told that I had to use a certain lock. I was not told that my unit was upstairs. I am not able to navigate stairs very well. After a day of packing, I was very upset to learn that the only remaining unit of the size I rented was upstairs!! I had no choice at that point but to keep the unit. The young man helping me finalize my rental was very helpful.
