When I arrived at this location for the 24/7 share, everything was closed down. I tried to self check in but I had to call an operator. The location had my name down but something happened on their end, and I could not receive the truck. I had to drive 20 min (close to 9 miles one way) in the opposite direction of my move, spend extra gas mileage (money), and return the truck out of the way. I'm disappointed at the organization. I had to move everything around when I was not at fault, as well as spend extra money. Disappointed.Jessica M.
This location is well stocked, well maintained and well managed. The manager is very pleasant and knowledgable. The entire transaction was handled expeditiously and in a friendly manner. I would recommend this location if you are in need of rental vehicles or storage space.MARY C.

The wrong truck was given to us for some reason - something in their records was incorrect I believe. So it was no problem picking it up but when we went to drop it back off, because they switched the trucks on us, we could not figure out the correct mileage/pictures of the truck/etc. The drop off was a nightmareJessica N.

There was a gentleman there by the name of Brandon Voelz. This gentleman went above and beyond his scope of duties that his job description entails. Mr.. Voelz was very professional and struck me as a high-ranking member of your team. I actually thought this gentleman was the manager there, he was very knowledgeable very experienced and extremely polite.. because of his professionalism and his ability to go beyond his job description,. In my opinion this gentleman struck, me if he isn't already, as the face of U-Haul. When I came to U-Haul I did not expect to experience what I experienced today. This gentleman is ultimately the reason why I would recommend U-Haul to anyone who would ask me where they should go to rent a vehicle for moving and storage. In closing, Mr Voels in my opinion should train all the employees at U-Haul as to how to treat a customer and how to maintain integrity while interacting with the public in a professional yet personal manner.ANGEL P.

I was a little concerned because the oil light was on with my van. It needs a changing. I probably was not getting the best mileage due to old oil. I understand that this is not an easy fix because the location stayed so busy. The van was super clean. If someone smoked in it, I could not tell. That is one of my peeves. On the other hand, the help was just so great. I was very stressed this day (moving day) and thought I had lost my phone. At that point I just about lost my mind! The employee calmly asked for my phone number and called it. It was somewhere in my car, I just could not lay eyes on it. It was a little thing, but it meant a lot that she was not indifferent to my plight. Very good employee all around from start to finish. She deserves a raise!!!,Kelly R.

This was my first time using the mobile app to pickup and return the equipment. The process took a little longer than anticipated due to my unfamiliarity and trying to find the scan code. Also the truck was not near the front, but parked away from the facility. It would have been easier if the truck was a little closer to the main building, so I did not have to walk back and forth to locate the truck and then get the keyCarlton R.

Service at the facility was great! I couldn't ask for better. Whoever I spoke with on the phone informed me that the 10' truck has three seats. Not true. I had to upgrade to 15'. Overall it worked out better anyway but correct information needs to be disseminated.Felicia P.
Reservation moved to this location which did not have any truck for rent. Waited for another customer to return a truck 3hrs pass my original reservation. Make sure the size truck that I reserved is available for use, actually provide me the moving materials I paid for (dollies, moving blankets), and don't act like working at UHaul is the literal last thing you'd rather be doing right now. Truck was very dirty and gas tank was empty. We accidentally left a piece of furniture in the truck and employees threw it away without even trying to contact us. Customer service was very poor.Michael S.

The staff will never answer the phone. Constantly had issues with the gate, with only the general customer service line to help because no staff would be present. Had issues cancelling my storage because they would never get back to me, even when reaching out during business hours. Mistakes were also made while writing the contract. Atlantic Avenue employees could have been a little more enthusiastic about their job. **I originally did an online rental with Security Self Storage in Knightdale NC. Online said PU Sunday 10-17 however they're not open on Sunday & their employee said nothing she could do!! SOâ€¦ I had to scramble for another truck at last minute. VERY inconvenient. UHaul corporate helped & we worked it out. If Security isn't gonna be open then they don't need to be a dealer!!!STACEY W.

The first trip to the on-site at Atlantic took about two hours of waiting as the young lady didn't know how to complete my requests. Very frustrating so I left and took care of it online. She was pleasant but very distracted with everything else going on and not handling the person in front of her. Other people walked out, too.
